Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light Arriving Stateside December 4
The heroic exploits of Prince Marth will make their way to the Nintendo Switch with the localized release of Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light on December 4, 2020.
Originally released for the Famicom Game System, Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light has Marth setting off on a grand journey to acquire the sacred Falchion sword, restore peace to the Kingdom of Archanea, and reclaim the throne from the Shadow Dragon Medeus.
Players will select from dozens of characters, each with their own unique attributes. To aid players in battle, this release will include rewind, fast-forward and save states.

Immortals Fenyx Rising Gets Story Trailer
Ahead of its release in December, learn more about the story of Ubisoft's Immortals Fenyx Rising with the latest trailer for the game.
The trailer, which can be seen below, has both Zeus and Prometheus sharing the tale of Fenyx. This young shield bearer was found washed ashore on the Golden Isle, and is the only one who can reunite and save the Greek gods from the deadly titan Typhon.

R-Type Final 2 Coming Spring 2021
The legendary side-scrolling shmup series R-Type will make its return with NIS America's R-Type Final 2 in Spring of 2021.
Featuring 3D graphics and modernized game features, R-Type Final 2 will encapsulate the colorful visuals and frenetic shooter action the series is known for. Much like other entries, a gameplay loop and its "Force" mechanic will add to its depth and replayability.
The difficulty system in this particular title is performance based, tailored to each player's individual experience. A worldwide leaderboard that allows players to compare scores with one another and rise to the top has also been included.
Each ship loadout can also be customized, with the types of weapons, decals, and even coloring adjustable. Players can also choose from dozens of different pilots, with many dating back to previous entries in the series from decades and console generations ago.

The eighth expansion pack for the game, World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is slated to wow MMO fans the world over. In honor of this release, Gamers Heroes takes a look at a cosplay of the Life-Binder Alexstrasza.
South African cosplayer and artist Kinpatsu-Cosplay did this stunning cosplay of World of Warcraft's Alexstrasza based off of a design by Zach Fischer Illustration. Taken with a Nikon D5100, every aspect of the queen of all dragons has been captured in excruciating detail.

Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 Skill Battle and Online Modes Detailed
Learn more about Puyo Puyo Tetris 2's Skill Battle Mode and Online Modes with the latest trailer for SEGA's puzzler.
In this title's RPG-inspired Skill Battle mode, players must create teams of three from selectable characters in either Puyo Puyo or Tetris gameplay settings. Each character in your party starts with a single specialty, and soon learns more powerful skills as gameplay progresses. Players set out to send Garbage Puyos and Blocks to the other player's board, and whoever reaches 0 HP first loses. There is also the chance to increas HP, MP, Attack, Defense, and Recovery through the title's Adventure mode.
In its Online Modes, three additional Leagues have been added: Puyo Puyo League, Tetris League, and Skill Battle League. For those looking to play at a more casual pace, the unranked Free Play mode gives players the ability to use any ruleset.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Post Launch Plans Detailed
Discover what awaits players post-launch in Ubisoft's upcoming Assassin's Creed Valhalla with the latest video for the game.
The Season Pass for the game will include two major expansions and an exclusive quest. Once the pass is available, expansions will be accessible early from within the main game. Each Season lasts three months, with Season 1 launching in December of 2020.
Season 1 will include a new settlement area, the Yule Festival, the River Raids game mode, and the addition of the Ranks for Jomsviking. Also included are new player abilities and skills, weapons and gear, and cosmetic items for the settlement, longship, horse, and raven.
Season 2 will launch in March of 2021, and will feature a new game mode that builds on Assassin's Creed Valhalla's core combat, a new Jomsviking update, festivals in the Settlement, and new cosmetic items and gear.

The Assassin's Creed Valhalla Season Pass is included in the Assassin's Creed Valhalla Gold, Ultimate and Collector Editions of the game. It can also be purchased separately for $39.99.
The game will come out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and PC (via the Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Store) on November 10, 2020. The PlayStation 5 version of the game will launch when that system comes out on November 12, 2020.

The latest title in SEGA's long-running Yakuza series, Yakuza: Like a Dragon puts the spotlight on the low-ranking grunt Ichiban Kasuga. Facing an eighteen-year prison sentence after he took the fall for a crime he didn't commit, he returns to society to find his clan destroyed.
He sets out to find the truth behind his family's betrayal in the area of Yokohama, teaming up with the rogue cop Adachi, the homeless ex-nurse Nanba, and the hostess Saeko. Unlike the combat system of previous entries, Yakuza: Like a Dragon will pay host to turn-based RPG type combat with a four-person battle team.
The game will come out on November 10, 2020 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and PC via Steam. The PlayStation 5 version of the game will come out on March 2, 2021.

Co-created by Yuji Naka (Sonic the Hedgehog Franchise Creator) and Character Designer Naoto Ohshima (Sonic Team Co-Founder), Balan Wonderworld has players jumping, flying, smashing, and discovering unique areas through the use of more than 80 different costumes. For example, the Rail Runner outfit summons train tracks in select areas.
This title is Yuji Naka and Naoto Ohshima's first collaborative effort in 20 years, and is also the inaugural game of the "Balan Company" gaming brand. This company will bring together a number of talented video game developers, visual artists, and composers.
The game will come out for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. Players will be able to upgrade to the next-gen versions of the game at no additional cost if they buy the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One version.
