Monster Hunter Movie – Where to Watch Safely From Home

There seems to be a longstanding curse on video game movie adaptations. While some are laughably bad, most are just plain boring. There has been a little bit of hope in the form of Detective PikachuSonic the Hedgehog, and the Netflix Witcher series, however, the 2020 Moster Hunter movie stomped that flickering hope right out. Not a terrible movie by any means, but simply another boring flick to add to the game movie pile. If you've got nothing to do this weekend and you're curious about another disappointing adaptation, here's where to watch the Monster Hunter movie.

Prime Video

You can find Monster Hunter on Prime Video right here. You can rent it for $5.99 or buy it for $19.99 if you somehow love it.

Youtube

You can find Monster Hunter on YouTube right here. It's the same price to rent or buy as Amazon, $5.99 and $19.99 respectively, so this one is down to browser preference.

Google Play

You can find Monster Hunter on Google Play right here. One of the two 4K options, the prices for the Google Play store are the same as Amazon and YouTube.

Apple TV

You can find Monster Hunter on Apple Plus right here. Apple TV also offers Monster Hunter in 4K, so if you're looking for the highest quality experience of a relatively forgettable movie, I'd suggest renting or buying it from either Apple TV or Google Plus.

I know what you're thinking: "What about theaters?" C'mon, don't do that. We're in the middle of a pandemic and there are cheaper, safer, and better ways to spend your time than seeing Monster Hunter on the silver screen.

Warzone: Resurgence Quads – How to Play This Week's Playlist

Warzone Season 2 Update 1.33

Call of Duty: Warzone is more popular than ever, but with the weekly rotation of game modes, it can be hard to keep track of them all. This week's playlist includes Exfiltration Trios, Plunder Trios, and Resurgence Quads. Here's what Resurgence Quads is and how to make the most of it.

What is Resurgence Quads?

Resurgence Quads is a reoccurring game mode in Call of Duty: Warzone that's back for the week. It's pretty similar to the classic Warzone battle royale with a few key differences. Resurgence Quads has a  much faster pace than other modes because of the size of its map. The game mode takes place on the very small Rebirth Island which means you're going to be running into enemy squads far more often. The goal of the mode is the goal of every battle royale: be the last squad standing. Unlike other Warzone modes, there is no Gulag for when you die. In Resurgence Quads, respawning fallen teammates is the responsibility of those left alive. All they need to do is survive for a certain period of time that increases as the game continues.

Tips

While there's no surefire way to win any competitive multiplayer game, there's one thing that Resurgence Quads rewards above all else: aggression. Because the map is so small, it's tricky to truly hide from enemy squads. Don't waste your time looking for nooks and crannies to hide in, instead play a good, aggressive defense and you'll be much better off. Additionally, any time a squad member dies, their location is pinged on the minimap. This makes it even more likely that you're going to be running into opposing teams ready to clean up your now-wounded squad from the last encounter.

Are God of War and Ghost of Tsushima Headed to PC? Leaker Says Yes

It seems like every week there are new leaks in the video game world. Just two days ago, someone leaked the specs and possible release window for the heavily rumored Nintendo Switch Pro. Now, it appears that we might know the first-party titles that Sony is planning on porting over to the PC. All four games are heavy hitters and if the leaker is correct we can expect God of War (2016), BloodborneThe Nathan Drake Collection, and Ghost of Tsushima PC ports.

The leaker in question is a Twitter user with the name @CrazyLeaksTrain. It's unclear just who they are, however, they've been right about a handful of things before. They called the Epic Games exclusive Kingdom Hearts series' PC port, Ninja Gaiden remasters, and the Nioh 2 PC port. They've recently claimed a few other things including a Final Fantasy Mussou title and a PC version of Final Fantasy 7 Remake, but like the Sony first-party PC ports, there's been no official word on them.

After last month's announcement that Days Gone would be headed to PC, a God of War or Ghost of Tsushima PC port isn't totally out of the realm of possibility. When talking with GQ Magazine about possible ports, Jim Ryan said that a "whole slate of them is on the way starting with Days Gone this spring."

As of right now, it's unclear if those four titles will be making their way to computers. However, based on the leaker's track record and Sony's PC plans, I wouldn't totally rule it out. That said, remember to take everything here with a grain of salt as right now it's all just speculation and rumor.

Among Us Airship – New Map Details, March Developer Update on Release Date and More

Among Us new map

Innersloth's Among Us was one of 2020's biggest success stories. The game had a staggering number of players, bought people together during the pandemic and was ultimately the source of a lot of laughs, lying and frustration. Back at The Game Awards last December, Geoff Keighly released details on Among Us' new map, titled Airship. While there hasn't been a huge amount of details, here's everything we know so far, and our best guess on when it will release.

What do we know so far?

Well, the map is called Airship and as you can guess, it's set on a giant red airship. It's been confirmed that there will be a new moving platform, designed to slow players down and cause some potentially sticky situations with the Imposters. Among Us' new map will also include a range of brand new tasks, ladders and more. Players will also have the opportunity to choose which room of the airship to start their game off in.

The airship update will also contain a range of new costumes for players to dress their little characters up in.

Innersloth has confirmed that the map will be free for all players.

When is Among Us' new map release date?

At The Game Awards, it was confirmed that the new map would be hitting the game in early 2021. While many players assumed that meant January, it clearly didn't happen. Replying to a tweet in the early days of January, Innersloth did say that "early 2021 doesn't just mean January ;)". In a recent update, Innersloth also confirmed that the game is still on track to release in early 2021, so hopefully, that means there won't be any delays. However, with the ongoing pandemic, there have been plenty of development struggles across the industry, so some things should never be ruled out.

That means though, that Among Us' new map is likely coming in the next month or two, in order to hit the early 2021 release date they suggested. When exactly will it drop? That's down to the developers to confirm.

Developer Update – 02/16/21

While things have still been quiet around the Among Us Airship map, the developers have provided fans with a small update. Speaking just after Valentine's Day, Innersloth tweeted:

They've effectively confirmed what players already thought. There is LOTS coming with this new map and the developers want to make it perfect. There's still over a month until we hit the end of Q1 this year when the update is expected to drop and therefore, you can't blame the devs for taking all the time they need.

Developer Update – 03/05/2021

On March 5, Innersloth added a Quickchat feature to the game. While this is welcome, some fans were left begging for the new map. Fortunately, they had a small update on that, saying "Promise I'll get you more info soon!" – Reading into this, it doesn't seem too far away!

For those who don't keep up to date with Among Us on Steam, the developers elaborated a little further saying:

"Sorry it's been so quiet on our end, we've been focused and working on getting things to you. In the future we'll definitely make sure to get you more regular dev updates."

This doesn't look too sus and it looks like we may be close to release, or at least hearing a little more about the release date.

Will there be an Among Us 2?

Initially, the developers of Among Us confirmed there would be an Among Us 2, however, they quickly backtracked on that. Instead, they have decided to focus development solely on the original game and plan to continue building on it for a while to come.

Among Us Update March 5 (ver 2021.2.21) – Patch Notes, Quickchat and Server Issues

why is among us not working update march

Among Us fans are eagerly, and patiently, awaiting the game's next big update, which will be focused around the new map, Airship. The map was shown off during The Game Awards in December 2021 and slated for an "early 2021" release date – however, despite development progressing smoothly, the map has yet to release. In the meantime, developers Innersloth has announced they've issued a new Among Us update on March 5. Here are the changes you need to know about.

What's Changing in the Among Us March Update?

The Among Us March Update is only a small one. It adds a new feature titled "Quickchat".

What is Quickchat in Among Us?

The developers have described the latest feature in their Steam update as follows:

"This is an easier, faster and safer option to play if you're using text chat! There will still be an options for free chat (toggle it On/Off in Settings), and if you're under the legal age limit you'll have Quickchat for you."

Effectively, it looks like players will have a wheel they can quickly select pre-loaded chat options. From an image posted on Twitter, these options will include locations, questions, accusations, responses and much more. This will make communication much easier in lobbies where players aren't using voice chat.

What are the server issues caused by the update?

Unfortunately, on adding the Quickchat feature to the game, Among Us has encountered some server problems. This has meant players have had problems connecting with each other in certain lobbies.

The Among Us developers had this to say on Twitter:

"oops looks like there's a glitch with lobbies and games on some platforms – working on a fix now!! sorry!! the joys of game development"

While it's frustrating that the game has gone down, spare a thought for the team. As well as developing new features and a new map, they are also having to combat server issues today, and at other points this week. Here's hoping they sort themselves out soon, but take your time InnerSloth!

LoL Patch 11.6 – March 2021 Update Skins Revealed

Battle Academia Caitlyn Skin

Earlier this week, League of Legends received its 11.5 update which saw the fun addition of bee-themed skins as well as a handful of other changes. With the update calendar being freely available for all those curious, we know that the next LoL update 11.6 should be launching on March 17, 2021. Thanks to some digging through the PBE by SurrendAt@20, we're able to tell what might be in store for the MOBA in terms of skins later this month. Take everything here with a grain of salt as it's subject to change. That said, here are all the skins you can expect to see in the LoL update 11.6:

Currently, there are six new Champion skins for five different Champions being tested in the PBE: Battle Academia Caitlyn, Battle Academia Garen, Battle Academia Leona, Battle Academia Leona Prestige Edition, Battle Academia Wukong, and Battle Academia Yone. As you can tell, the theming on each skin is based around the characters' trip through academia. All the skins will cost 1350 RP when they finally go live later this month with the exception of the Battle Academia Leona Prestige Edition skin. As it's a Prestige skin, it will cost 100 Prestige Points.

Additionally, the skins for Garen, Leona, Wukong, and Yone all have eight different Chromas to choose from while Caitlyn only has five. There are no Chromas for Leona's Prestige skin.

Each has gotten their own specific "Skin Spotlight" which can be found here:

Battle Academia Caitlyn:

Battle Academia Garen:

Battle Academia Leona:

Battle Academia Leona Prestige Edition:

Battle Academia Wukong:

Battle Academia Yone:

NHL 21 March 2021 Update – What's New in the 1.5 Patch Notes?

NHL 21

EA consistently releases new entries in its sports franchises every single year. They then spend the following year updating and patching their release while working on next year's title. Earlier this week, we saw the final franchise update to Madden 21 and now we're seeing an NHL 21 update as well. Unlike the rather beefy Madden 21 franchise update, the notes for the NHL21 update are pretty brief. Here are the patch notes in full:

World of CHEL

– added additional content in WoC for upcoming Chel Challenges

Uniforms

The following uniforms have been added or updated in NHL 21.

– Washington Capitals Alternate

– Oshawa Generals Alternate

– Chicoutimi Sagueneens Alternate

– Prince George Cougars Alternate

Clearly, the 1.5.0 patch isn't particularly big and is mainly focused on cosmetics, but just about any update is welcome. That said, its small size is something to be somewhat expected. As development ramps up for the next title, NHL 22NHL 21 updates and patches will be smaller and less frequent.

NHL 21 was recently announced to be coming to EA Play as well as Xbox Game Pass. Along with other sports titles such as Madden 21Football Manager 21, and NBA 2k21NHL 21 will launch on the platform in April. The other sports titles will be going up on different days in March.

You can find DualShockers' review of NHL 21 right here. In his review, Michael Ruiz said that NHL 21 is, "another great entry in the long-running franchise, but it's just not all that different from last year."

For more on EA Sports, check out this article that details the most recent EA-loot box controversy. Another class-action lawsuit was filed against EA back in November of 2020 over its "predatory loot boxes and microtransactions," some of which can be found in NHL 21.

Incarnate Forme Tornadus Weakness Pokemon GO – Raid Guide and Best Counters March 2021

shiny tornadus weakness pokemon GO

The Season of Legends is now well underway. The Pokemon are changing, we're finding out about the new research and we've had our first legendary raid battles against Incarnate Forme Landorus. With Landorus now leaving raids though, it's the turn of the second of the Forces of Nature trio, Incarnate Forme Tornadus. While Tornadus has been featured in raids before, that was a while back and new Mega Evolutions and moves are being released regularly, therefore the meta often changes. With that in mind, let's see if Incarnate Forme Tornadus has any Weakness in Pokemon GO and look at the best counters to take it down.

Incarnate Forme Tornadus Weakness Pokemon GO

Incarnate Forme Tornadus is a pure Flying-type Pokemon. It has a trio of weakness, Ice, Electric and Rock.  This means there is a good range counters to take down Incarnate Forme Tornadus in Pokemon GO, but what are they?

Best Counters For Incarnate Forme Tornadus

There are a few top counters to Incarnate Forme Tornadus in the game, let's take a look at them.

In terms of Mega Pokemon, I'd stick to Mega Ampharos. Mega Abomasnow is also viable but suffers double damage against Tornadus' Flying-type moves.

Rock-type Pokemon are a strong shout here, despite Tornadus having a Grass-type charge move. Consider bringing Rhyperior, Rampardos and Terrakion from this typeset.

The next type of Pokemon you to consider for Incarnate Forme Torndus raids is Ice-types as there is tons of choice. Galarian Darmanitan is probably the king here, closely followed by MamoswineWeavile and Glaceon are decent budget counters to take down Landorus.

Finally, there are some really strong Electric-type counters for Tornadus. Zekrom, Raikou and Zapdos are three strong picks here. Magnezone is also a great budget pick that boasts strong resistances.

Mega Ampharos – Volt Switch/Zap Cannon
Rhyperior – Smack Down/Rock Wrecker
Rampardos – Smack Down/Rock Slide
Terrakion – Smack Down/Rock Slide
Galarian Darmanitan – Ice Fang/Avalanche

Mamoswine – Powder Snow/Avalanche
Weavile – Ice Shard/Avalanche
Glaceon – Frost Breath/Avalanche
Zekrom – Charge Beam/Wild Charge
Raikou – Volt Switch/Wild Charge
Zapdos – Thunder Shock/Thunderbolt
Magnezone – Spark/Wild Charge

March 2021 Raid Schedule

Because this season has been dubbed "The Season of Legends", players have the opportunity to take part in a bunch of different legendary raids. Throughout March, raid bosses change no fewer than five times, with a new Forme of The Forces of Nature trio arriving in the gameThe full schedule is as follows:

Destiny 2 Dinosaur Armor Vs. Monster Armor, Which One You Vote For?

Destiny 2 Dinosaur Armor, Team Dino

This Spring, Destiny 2 will host another Festival of the Lost event, which is one of the series' biggest yearly events that usually launches with a special theme. Hopefully, before we reach the event, Bungie has given players a chance to decide on this year's Festival of the Lost armor themes, which means you can vote for your favorite theme. Destiny 2 Dinosaur Armor Vs. Monster Armor? Which you are going to vote for?

Bungie has shared two concept arts of the mentioned themes, each one featuring a set of armors, showcasing how a Dinosaur or a Monster armor would look like in the game. While the concepts do not show the final design of the armors, you can still get a better understanding of the upcoming armors. Note that only three days are left until the end of the voting phase as the official website of Destiny 2 confirms. Visit this page to vote for your favorite armor theme. Below, you can have a look at both of the armor themes:

If you ask me, the Destiny 2 Dinosaur armor sets have more to offer in the case of design and uniqueness compared to their Monster rivals, however, it depends on how many players think like me and how many think the opposite way.

The official starting date for this year's Festival of the Lost is yet to be announced, but prepare yourself for a huge playground with a lot of content in Spring 2021.

Destiny 2 is a free-to-play game available on PS4PS5Xbox OneXbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC. The game's post-launch expansions are available for free for all the Xbox Game Pass subscribers. Recently, the developers revealed that the game's next big expansion, The Witch Queen, has been delayed until 2022. Currently, Beyond Light is the latest expansion in Destiny 2.

When is Valheim Coming To Mac? Devs Respond

In the highly competitive world of indie survival/crafting games, Valheim is currently the top dog. Boasting this week that it's sold over 5 million copies, it's hard to argue the game's success. Those sorts of numbers create quite the FOMO for those not currently able to play it due to a lack of gaming PC. It's made many people wonder about console ports and a Valheim Mac OS edition.

Here's the short answer: there doesn't seem to be a Mac OS version of the game coming anytime soon. In a recently published FAQ, the developers have confirmed that there are no current plans to create a Mac version of the game unless "there is any significant demand for it."

Obviously, anyone looking to play games on a PC isn't looking at Apple products when deciding on a model. However, because of Valheim's success, relatively small download size, and low hardware requirements, it's easy to see why Mac owners might be interested.

While still only being roughly one month old, the demand for the game to hit consoles is there as well. In the same detailed FAQ post, developers made their plans clear when they said "there are no plans to release on other platforms as of the time of writing but we won't rule out console versions in the future."

For now, it seems like non-PC gamers who are looking to play Valheim can only do two things: make their voices heard and wait.

For more Valheim, make sure to check out this article that goes over the most recent patch notes from March 2. You can also take a look at this article that weighs the pros and cons of sword combat vs. axe combat in the game.
