Horizon Forbidden West Gets State of Play Gameplay Reveal
During today's State of Play, Guerrilla Games and PlayStation Studios released a gameplay reveal for their title Horizon Forbidden West.
Game Director Mathijs De Jonge took the spotlight before and after this segment, stating that the team behind this ambitious new project has made great progress. During his gameplay deep dive, he stated that players will have to be smart and creative, utilizing all of their different combat options to deal with the deadly machines of its world. Threats include snapmaws in the water, snapwings in the sky, and clawstriders and tremortusks on land.
Mahijs is joined by Narrative Director Ben McCaw, who talks a bit more of this title's world. Set 1,000 years in Earth's future after a global catastrophe. This new Forbidden West is faced with a strange red blight that is spreading across the land, with Aloy being the only one who can stop it. With players taking control of this heroine, they must traverse the ruins of the Old World to find the technology needed to solve it all.

Beautiful Desolation Console Launch Trailer Released
Ahead of its release tomorrow for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, THE BROTHERHOOD has released a launch trailer for the console version of Beautiful Desolation.
Originally released for the PC last year, this title features a world where the line between sentient life and technology has been blurred. As players explore its post-apocalyptic, African-inspired landscape, they'll be tasked with solving puzzles, meeting new friends (and making powerful enemies), mediating conflicts, and fighting for their lives.
The artstyle of the game has been rendered in a 2D isometric style, and each of its characters has been fully voiced by authentic African voice actors between thousands of lines of dialog. Its controls, user interface, and movement have been redone to work intuitively on console controllers.

Dying Light 2 Launching December 7
After years of anticipation, the world of Techland Games' Dying Light 2: Stay Human will launch on December 7, 2021.
This news was announced during today's episode of Dying 2 Know. Hosted by Leahviatan and Jonah Scott, this approximately 30 minute show took a deep dive into how the team has created the world of Dying Light 2, the protagonist Aiden's goals and motivations, The City's environment, and the choices and consequences players will come across.

A new title in the stealth-action genre, Aragami 2 will pay host to enhanced stealth mechanics and a strategic combat system where all moves must be deliberate. The title will feature a full campaign with both solo and three players co-op support, weapon and armor customization, and a wide variety of abilities and shadow powers.

Green Hell Coming to Consoles June 9
The hyper-realistic world of Creepy Jar's survival title Green Hell will make its way to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on June 9, 2021.
Throwing players into the depths of the Amazon rainforest, one must make use of base building resource management, hunting, crafting, base building, wound inspection, and sanity management. A Story Mode will allow players to rediscover well-known areas and discover new ones, while its co-op mode will support up to four players. For those looking for replayability, custom modes, achievements, and unique challenges have all been included as well.

Among Us Free on Epic Games Store This Week
The world of Innersloth's multiplayer title Among Us is free to download this week on the Epic Games Store.
Set in a space-themed setting, Among Us has players taking control of either the Crewmates or the Impostors. The Crewmates must identify the Impostors and complete tasks, while the Impostors must sabotage said tasks and kill the Crewmates. The title can be played with 4-10 players either online or via local WiFi.
For those looking to deck out their Crewmates, a number of cosmetic options, including spacesuit colors, skins, hats, and pets are included.

Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake Announced
Everything old is new again with Square Enix's Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake.
Developed by AMATA K.K. (Last Labyrinth) and Team Asano (Bravely Default 2), Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake is a remake of Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation. The original title features the hero Erdrick, who sets out to save the world from the Demon Lord Baramos.
The original title was localized for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1991, and saw a remake for the Super Famicom in 1996. It was also released for the Nintendo Game Boy Color, the Nintendo Wii, Android and iOS devices, and other platforms.

Sonic Colors: Ultimate Coming September 7
Get ready to join Sonic on an intergalactic adventure once more when Blind Squirrel Entertainment and SEGA's Sonic Colors: Ultimate comes out on September 7, 2021.
Originally released for the Nintendo Wii in 2010, this title has Sonic setting out to stop Doctor Eggman from enslaving an alien race known as the Wisps. These Wisps can be used by Sonic to increase one's attack power and reach new areas. Along the way, he'll have to overcome the traps of Doctor Eggman's Incredible Interstellar Amusement Park.
To prep for this release, a two episode animated miniseries called Sonic Colors: Rise of the Wisps will be released this summer.

Legend of Mana Pre-Orders Now Available
Ahead of its launch on June 24, Square Enix has announced that pre-orders are now open for their JRPG Legend of Mana.
In this title, players will set forth on a journey to find the mystical Mana Tree. Originally seen in a dream, they soon discover that the world map of Fa'Diel is empty.
The Escad Story Arc has players following the lives of Escad, Daena, Matilda and Irwin as they overcome their conflicting motives in the wake of the Faerie Wars. The Dragon Killer Arc has players joining the dragoon of Drakonis Larc as he embarks on a mission to slay the Dragons of Knowledge and challenge the dragon Sierra.
New to this release is exclusive equipment at the Equipment Smithy, featured pets with supportive Synchro Effects, and magical Golems that feature more than 50 different offensive and defensive abilities.

Eight new stunt races will make their way to Rockstar Games' GTA Online this week.
New races to the game include Sun, Sea, and Chicanes, A Tight Spot, Bridge Too Far, Cluster Struck, Vicious Spiral, Canyon Fodder, Smoke Up Your Asphalt, and City Limits. As an added incentive, players will be able to get Triple GTA$ and RP in all Stunt Races this week.
