Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX Launching June 22
The release date for Jankenteam and Merge Games' Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX has been moved up two days, to June 22, 2021.
Originally making its debut on the SEGA Master System more than 30 years ago, this title will catapult the titular Alex Kidd into a new generation with improved boss battles, new art, extra levels, and different modes like its Retro Mode and Boss Rush Mode.
However, the core game will remain the same, with players tasked with restoring The Kingdom of Radaxian to its former glory and destroying the evil Janken the Great. Firing up their power bracelet, players will smash rocks, collect coins, and tackle bosses.

Farming Game Monster Harvest Coming August 19
The new launch date for Merge Games and Maple Powered Games' farming game Monster Harvest is August 19, 2021.
This delay will allow the development team to add support for Latin America and Eastern Europe, along with extra polish on all platforms.
According to Kerry Vandenberg, joint owner of Maple Powered Games:
Monster Harvest is a pixelated farming simulator that allows players to mutate their crops to create companions that can be taken into battle. As players venture across Planimal Point, they can take part in turn-based battles and explore dungeons as they set out to take down the evil SlimeCo.

NEO: The World Ends with You TV Spot Released
Gear up for your trip to Shibuya with the latest TV spot for Square Enix's NEO: The World Ends with You.
A follow-up to 2007's The World Ends with You, this title is an action RPG that has players attacking "Noise" opponents with "psych" abilities that have been granted by "pins." More than 300 different pins are available, and there are different pin groupings to choose from. There are also different wearable "threads" that provide boosts to each characters' abilities.
Tetsuya Nomura returns as creative producer for the title, while Gen Kobayashi serves as its character designer. Takeharu Ishimoto has also been brought on once more to do the music for the game.

The game will come out for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on July 27, 2021. It will also come out for the PC later this year.

Ahead of its launch later this week, Arc System Works has released the launch trailer and opening movie for their flashy fighter Guilty Gear -Strive-.
The seventh mainline installment of the Guilty Gear series, Guilty Gear -Strive- serves as a complete reconstruction of the franchise. The title will feature 15 playable fighters at launch, including Sol Badguy, Ky Kiske, May, Axl Low, Chipp Zanuff, and Potemkin. New to the game are the samurai-like vampire Nagoriyuki and the special operations unit officer Giovanna.

Psychological Thriller Alfred Hitchcock – Vertigo Coming Later This Year
A new psychological thriller, players will be able to immerse themselves in the world of Microids and Pendulo Studios' Alfred Hitchcock – Vertigo later this year.
This narrative and adventure game is freely inspired by Alfred Hitchcock's 1958 American film noir psychological thriller Vertigo. It tells the story of writer Ed Miller, who managed to come out unscathed from a car crash that happened in Brody Canyon, California. He insists that he was traveling with his wife and daughter, but there was nobody else to be found in the wreckage of the event. This soon causes Ed to suffer from severe vertigo, and he sets out on a journey to find out what really happened that day.

MetroidVania Transiruby Coming This Fall
Get ready to explore the mysteries of an unknown land when ESQUADRA, SKIPMORE, and Flyhigh Works' MetroidVania Transiruby comes out for the PC via Steam this fall.
Taking control of a cyborg protagonist named Siruby, players will set out to explore a strange continent that has appeared from a different dimension. With her trusty AI partner "Ne-com" at her side, she will collect golden "Tranchips," meet fellow cyborg girls and treasure hunters, and solve puzzles and riddles.
Siruby has the ability to transform into a plane and a motorbike, and her sword fighting skills have been designed to be as quick and stress-free as possible. Players will also be able to freeze enemies with her element gun, which allows these foes to be used at a foothold.

Pay a visit to Rainy Woods with the latest trailer for White Owls, Grounding Inc., and Playism's The Good Life.
This "debt repayment RPG" tells the story of Naomi Hayward, who receives a commission from The Morning Bell newspaper to uncover the truth behind a rural English town known as Rainy Woods. This town and its residents hold a juicy secret – its residents turn into cats and dogs when the sun goes down.
In their search for a good life (hence the title), Naomi can raise funds from the commissions she takes, the Flamingo social media app, and part time jobs. Players will also be able to explore the surrounding landscapes and unlock waystones and camp sites during their stay.

Multiplayer Open-World Creature Battler Palworld Announced
Players will be able to befriend and collect mysterious creatures with the release of Pocketpair, Inc. multiplayer, open-world survival crafting game Palworld.
The world of Palworld is filled with creatures called Pals, which can be used to fight, breed, help with farming, or work in factories. However, its world is one of strife, and players must deal with harsh weather, food shortages, and illegal poachers.
Multiplayer functionality has also been included, with players being able to invite their friends to join them on their adventure. Trading and battling functionality will also be included.

Chernobylite features a science fiction horror story that allows players to change their choices with a special device. Players will also be able to gather information and data with environment and substance analyzing tools. Its world has been meticulously detailed, featuring a 3D-scanned recreation of the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone.
The title is currently in Early Access and is about 95% done, with only part of the final story mission missing and some balance and bug fixing needing to be done. For those who'd like to experience it for themselves, you can find the Steam page here.

No More Heroes 1 & 2 Coming to PC June 9
The Crownless King Travis Touchdown will make his way to Steam with the release of Grasshopper Manufacture and XSEED Games' No More Heroes and No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle on June 9, 2021.
The original No More Heroes tells the story of otaku Travis Touchdown, who finds himself ranked in the United Assassin's Association. Beam katana in hand, he sets out to rise the ranks and become number one.
Taking place three years later, its sequel No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle kicks things off with Travis dropping down in the rankings to #51. Travis now possesses the ability to dual-wield katanas, and he is also joined by Shinobu and Henry Cooldown as playable characters. A number of 8 bit-style video games have also been thrown into the mix.
