PCGamesN Friday, November 26, 2021 7:50 AM  Capcom has confirmed that Monster Hunter Rise is launching on PC with all the post-launch content from the Nintendo Switch version included. In a blog post on Steam, the developer explains that the upcoming PC game will feature everything the current version on Nintendo's portable gaming device has, with plans to have updates fully synced up by the end of February 2022. Monster Hunter Rise has received a steady stream of updates since it launched earlier this year. As such, you're getting the base offering of monsters alongside some new beasties that Capcom added in subsequent updates, such as the Teostra, Kushala Daora, and Chameleos. You'll also have access to the main story's new ending, alongside quests and costumes that come from collaboration events with Monster Hunter Stories 2, Okami, Street Fighter, Mega Man 11, Ghosts 'n Goblins Resurrection, and Sonic the Hedgehog. Capcom reaffirms that Monster Hunter Rise doesn't support cross-platform play or cross-saves between PC and Switch, so you'll be starting from scratch if you've already played this one. PCGamesN Friday, November 26, 2021 7:26 AM  The only thing better than having a great run in 4X game Civilization VI is being reminded of how great it was through a replay. The 'Endgame Map Replay' mod by Technoluddite does exactly what it says on the tin. It plays out the just-finished match on an abstracted hex map which looks similar to one of the map modes you can activate in-game. Firaxis' popular strategy game does already provide endgame stats that you can look at to see how well you did, but this Civ 6 mod offers a more in-depth alternative. It doesn't replace the existing endgame screen, rather it adds a new tab. "When selected this displays a map of the world," the mod page explains, "initially showing it as it was at the beginning of the game." Using playback tools that also come with the mod, you can then watch the match (and map) unfold from the player civ's perspective. It shows when new cities and infrastructure get placed, territory gains and losses, and even the spread of religion. PCGamesN Friday, November 26, 2021 6:57 AM  Cyberpunk 2077 had a troubled launch when it arrived just under a year ago, but it looks like the RPG's fortunes are really turning around if the latest stats on Steam's bestsellers are anything to go by. The Steam autumn sale kicked off earlier this week, and Cyberpunk 2077 has now stormed to the top of the list - and it seems a bunch of positive Steam reviews have followed, too. As spotted by Forbes, CD Projekt Red's addition to the cyberpunk games scene has rocketed to the number one spot on Steam's top sellers list as of writing. It sits above the just-launched Farming Simulator 22 and Football Manager 22 - which are both currently at full-price, it's fair to note - as well as other big hits like Red Dead Redemption 2 and Half-Life: Alyx, which are both currently discounted by 50% in the sale, as Cyberpunk 2077 itself is right now. Cyberpunk 2077's got a discounted price tag of £24.99 / £29.99 on Valve's platform in its autumn sale, which runs until December 1. It seems this has tempted a whole swathe of players to pick up the game and get stuck into Night City for the first time, with the game not even featuring in the top ten of Steam's bestsellers last week. PCGamesN Friday, November 26, 2021 6:16 AM  Genshin Impact might be expanding to a new region soon. While the anime game's 2.3 update has only just gone live this week, dataminers have dug up details on Genshin Impact's next update, with what seems to be a new region called Enkanomiya appearing frequently. In a "quick overview" of update 2.4, Genshin Intel shares on Twitter that Enkanomiya will be a part of it. Project Celestia adds that this is a new region that will feature an "alternating time cycle between Evernight and Whitenight that reveals different appearances of environments and mechanisms". Reportedly, there are a total of nine subareas in Enkanomiya. They also remind fans that this is all subject to change as it's based on an update 2.4 beta. Another reliable dataminer called Ubatcha shares that switching between the two cycles is manual and that there are multiple places around the map you can travel to if you want to switch between the two freely. "I've seen no indication of it naturally switching," they add. "However, it's entirely possible it could be locked behind a quest." PCGamesN Friday, November 26, 2021 5:55 AM  Now that we're a month on from Team Spirit's victory at this year's Dota 2 International tournament, Valve has revealed what's coming up next for its flagship MOBA game. The studio has announced the first tour of the next Dota Pro Circuit season starts up next week, with the Winter Major being the crowning event it'll all lead up to. Alongside this, it's extended Fantasy Dota "into the wider DPC season" - and revealed the next battle pass is coming up soon. "We're [...] putting the finishing touches on the next battle pass, which is due out in the next few weeks," the studio says in a new dev post. "We've got a special conundrum cooking and we can't wait to share it." This will be the second offering of 2021, following the Nemestice battle pass which launched in Jun this year and ran until August 17. There's no word on exactly when in the next few weeks it'll drop - much less what will be in it - from the post, but with Valve teasing that it's got something "special" up its sleeve, it looks like we can expect some exciting new stuff, whatever that might be. Which placement will offer the most potential? What's the optimal choice here? These decisions often don't take into account the visual aspect of terrain and instead focus on the underlying coding - if the developer says there's +2 food in them hills, then there is. Humankind - the recent Civilization challenger from Endless Legend creator Amplitude - subscribes to this, but it also manages to put forward another path: settling somewhere just for the feels. Humankind is one of the best-looking 4X games you'll ever play. Its verticality and representation of hills and mountains can produce truly striking vistas. We often see it inspire posts like this one, in which players are simply revelling in the beauty of what they've created rather than taking the more clinical route of chasing synergies. As the belligerents have returned to a more 'normal' mode of operations, however, they've discovered that the massive space game is different now than it was before - and many haven't liked what they've found. Over the weekend of November 13-14, thousands of players from both sides of the massive conflict descended on the key trading hub of Jita 4-4, firing volleys at the assembly yard that orbits the planet. They had organised a protest over proposed changes coming to Eve Online's industrial systems outlined in an Eve Online developer blog published earlier in the week. Even the best MMOs are fairly complex, but Eve Online is notorious for its complexity. In the blog, Eve's developers proposed changing the way the game handles mining operations. The idea, CCP tells us, was to make the process more interesting than it's been historically, adding new systems for mineral compression and wastage. According to the plan, miners must compress materials (ore, gas, or ice) as they bring it aboard their ships, and this process involves losing some amount of material as waste based on a number of factors - primarily equipment quality and mining skill. Now, what with it being Black Friday and all, it's hit a new lowest price of £60 – a 33% saving. For such anti-riches I can't recommend any other tenkey-equipped, fully mechanical keyboard more; indeed, it held the 'best cheap mechanical gaming keyboard' title on our best keyboards list well before this discount revealed itself. The only thing missing here is USB pass-through, but N-key rollover, a volume dial, a detachable wrist rest, macro recording and RGB backlighting are all part of the deal. Sadly I haven't found such a drastic saving for US buyers, though Amazon has sliced off a few dollars to bring it down to $75. |

One of these weapons is the M1 Garand and you can build a strong class to take into your next Vanguard multiplayer match, with the best attachments. As Call of Duty: Vanguard is set in World War II, it is hardly surprising that the M1 Garand features in the game. The multiplayer maps that allow you to make the most of the weapon are ones that are medium to large in size.
