PCGamesN Sunday, December 5, 2021 9:39 AM  It's a big week for Final Fantasy XIV, with the long-awaited Endwalker expansion launching this weekend in early access and bringing new and returning players back in massive numbers - too many for the MMO to cope with, apparently, which is why Square Enix is giving away a free week of play to everyone struggling to get in right now. While the official release date of the Endwalker expansion is still a few days away - it properly launches on Tuesday, December 7, in fact - the early access period has already started. As a result, Final Fantasy XIV has smashed all of its concurrent player count records on Steam as everyone heads in to check out the new Endwalker content. Unfortunately, this popularity has come with a price, as director and producer Naoki Yoshida reports "an extremely large number of players" trying to access the MMO - and as a result, servers have been regularly hitting their login caps, queues have been lengthened dramatically, and there's been "an immense amount of network load which caused Worlds to go down". PCGamesN Sunday, December 5, 2021 7:28 AM  After Chapter 2 came to an explosive conclusion last night, Fortnite Chapter 3 is about to begin at last - and it's already been leaked exactly how long the first new season will last and roughly when players can expect Season 2, which is a little over three months from now in March 2022. Fortnite Chapter 2's 'The End' event took place on December 4 and it brought with it a whole new map and status quo for Epic's battle royale. After her forces invaded the island the Cube Queen has seemingly been defeated, as Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson - who was finally unmasked as Fortnite's The Foundation character - dropped the entire island on her head. Chapter 3 is now ready to begin today - a little earlier than expected - and with the new Battle Pass already leaked and ready to bring in such delights as Spider-Man in a big event, players will want to know exactly how long they'll have to earn Marvel's web-slinging hero and all the rest. 'The End' event ushered in a new status quo and a major guest star in the form of Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, and the new Season 1 start time be isn't far off. For anyone who didn't play it, the big Chapter 2 confirmed the long-suspected theory that Fortnite's masked The Foundation character - who recently resurfaced in a Batman tie-in comic - is actually Dwayne Johnson. As the Cube Queen's army attacked, The Rock won the day by, well, dropping the entire Fortnite island on her. The new island will be the underside of the former one. There have already been numerous leaks about Chapter 3, including the reveal that Spider-Man will play a big part in both the new season and the Battle Pass - and there will even be Gears of War characters to get, too, and maybe even a The Matrix collaboration. Icarus Guide: Getting More Oxygen and Water Oxygen and Oxite in Icarus The main source of oxygen in Icarus is a mineral called Oxite. Compared to stones, these have a slightly bluish hue. Smaller pieces can be picked up normally, but larger Oxite deposits require a Stone Pickaxe (10x fiber, 4x stick, and 8x stone). Once you have Oxites, there are a couple of ways for you to refill oxygen: You can right-click on the mineral in your inventory and consume it. This can be a bit of a hassle.
