As ever, we've got a good idea of what it brings courtesy of fans who have taken a look ahead of Rockstar Games' newswire post later today, and this week offers bonus rewards on a smattering of different modes and missions, as well a new round of discounts. First up, the latest weekly update is offering triple the usual GTA$ and RP on the Power Play adversary mode, as Tez2 notes on Twitter. In case you need a refresher, this is the deathmatch-like "turbocharged showdown between two teams", as per its description, which has players grabbing power-ups with zany effects to gain the edge over the other team. Preparations for the VIP Contracts, meanwhile, are offering double the regular rewards, along with the Nightlife Leak mission and Specialist+ level contracts. There's a new vehicle joining the game this week, too. The Comet S2 Cabrio (which will set you back $1,797,000 in-game bucks) has been added, while the latest GTA Online prize ride is the Euros two-door sports car. PCGamesN Thursday, January 6, 2022 6:03 AM  Intel doesn't have much of a presence in the discrete graphics card market just yet, but its Arc Alchemist lineup is just around the corner and should give AMD and Nvidia a run for their money in 2022. Just how competitive these GPUs will be is anyone's guess, but I'm willing to bet that gaming PCs will benefit more from Intel XeSS (Xe Super Sampling) than its first generation physical GPUs. XeSS will be Intel's answer to Nvidia DLSS, using artificial intelligence to upscale your game from a lower, less demanding resolution to a higher one. This means 4K resolution - or possibly even 8K for that matter - won't tank your performance because your PC only has to churn out 1080p or lower before it hits your screen. And if pixel count isn't your thing, you'll be able to stick with your normal resolution and use XeSS to boost fps instead. Currently, AI upscaling is only possible with Nvidia DLSS, which is exclusive to RTX GPUs. However, Intel is optimising XeSS for its own Alchemist graphics cards, but says it will open the technology up to other hardware manufacturers in the future. We've put together all the latest news, leaks, and rumours you need to get acquainted with 'Lovelace', with information on its release date, price, specs, and benchmarks. As much as the raw performance of team green's RTX GPUs make them attractive to anyone looking to upgrade their gaming PC, it's features like Nvidia Reflex and Nvidia DLSS that elevate the graphics cards above their competition. RTX 4000 cards will likely come armed with the same technologies, if not even more. However, Nvidia isn't content with simply cornering the desktop GPU market and has its sights set on the cloud too. The company's Nvidia Geforce Now service currently provides up to RTX 3080 levels of performance to all manner of devices, such as low-spec PCs and smartphones (and not-so-smart-phones), via cloud streaming. Team green will undoubtedly update Geforce Now with RTX 4000 graphics cards at some point after their release to the public. Xiao is an adeptus, a magical being bound by contract to protect Liyue from daemons and evil gods. His elemental burst unleashes his Yaksha, a powerful spirit which slowly eats away at Xiao's life force while it's active. Anemo characters don't have a lot of Genshin Impact elemental reactions, though this doesn't appear to hamper Xiao's DPS output. Xiao specialises in dealing massive amounts of damage to multiple enemies at once, taken further with the Swirl elemental reaction which works with Cryo, Hydro, Electro, and Pyro. Xiao has been designed from the ground up as a DPS dealer, so if you need someone to do all the heavy lifting in your party, this may be the character for you. Players have a second chance to pick up Xiao in Genshin Impact 2.4 as he returns to headline the 'Invitation To Mundane Life' banner. League of Legends patch 12.1 has headed to live servers, bringing a handful of item and champ changes and some snazzy new Elderwood skins. Now, it's time to see what the second patch of the Season 12 League of Legends patch schedule will bring. The big news for 12.2 is the arrival of brand-new champion, Zeri. It seems she might have made a slightly premature debut as her universe and biography pages (which went live January 4) appear to have now been taken down, though we have an idea of what she's all about from the details that were offered in these when live. As reported by Surrenderat20, Zeri will be known as The Spark of Zaun, and will be a marksman champ who "channels her electric magic to charge herself and her custom-crafted gun". We don't know anything about her abilities beyond a few hints in the bio and universe info, but you can check out a fuller description in Zeri's section below. Patch 12.2 also brings a whole bunch of new champion skins. Akshan and Janna are getting Crystal Rose skins, while Elise is getting a Withered Rose style.
