PCGamesN Tuesday, February 15, 2022 7:02 PM  We're coming up on the launch of a new Sims 4 pack, and EA and Maxis are making way for it with a free update that adds a bit of new content of its own. The, uh… let me make sure I have this right. The update labeled 1.84.171.1030 on PC is now live, with a handful of romantic content additions to help you get ready for the upcoming My Wedding Stories game pack. Perhaps the most notable addition is the new wedding venue lot type, which'll let you construct romantic celebration spots whether or not you're picking up the upcoming pack. You'll also find a new option in Create-A-Sim that allows you to set a sim's relationship status as 'engaged' from the very start. CAS is also getting a pile of new and updated items, including a "a bindi, a toddler full body swimsuit, and french tip nails". There've also been ten items updated with new colours, including suits and bridesmaid dresses to once again get you in that wedding spirit. The company took a few steps, but in the aftermath of similar allegations at Activision Blizzard last year, a group of employees calling themselves A Better Ubisoft called for further changes. 200 days later, the group says "none of our demands have been met and management refuses to engage". In a statement posted to social media, A Better Ubisoft expresses frustration over an interval video about the company's annual employee satisfaction survey, saying it was "not only very brief but incredibly opaque, with the entire survey summarised as six talking points: three positive and three negative", delivered with few concrete numbers or comparison points against the rest of the industry. "We're tired of having to repeatedly explain these seemingly obvious points to a management team who are either accidentally ignorant or simply don't want to listen. We push on because we care about our work. We care about the people we work with, the games we make, and we desperately want to repair this company. Our goal is a fairer, better Ubisoft." |

Game consoles are no exception, but Valve has already been pretty committed to making Steam Deck a more open platform than the traditional game console, and today the company has provided some details on how you'll be able to get those replacement parts. "Today, we're announcing that iFixit will be one of the authorized sellers of Steam Deck replacement parts," Valve says in the announcement, "as well as replacement parts for the Valve Index VR products. We are still hammering out the details, and will be sharing more info on this soon." In addition to its replacement part store, iFixit also provides information and a bit of activism when it comes to repairing your own devices. Alongside today's announcement, iFixit has published a teardown video mostly praising the Deck's friendliness to home repair efforts - outside of battery replacement, anyway. To get this new look, you have to complete a list of challenges, and play a lot of matches. These challenges also give you experience points you use to level up the Halo Infinite battle pass. Challenges can be found in the battle pass menu and it lists the current active challenges and upcoming challenges. Each challenge is colour-coded by difficulty, so bright grey challenges are the easiest, the bluish-grey challenges are of medium difficulty, and the bright blue ones are the most challenging. One of the upcoming challenges will take its place when you complete a challenge, though which challenge it is, is random. Once you've completed each challenge, you're given one more challenge before you can claim your weekly reward. This challenge is the same for everyone. In this guide, we'll give you tips on how to complete the Halo Infinite weekly challenges in your queue, explain what the weekly ultimate challenge is, and what the weekly ultimate challenge reward is for this week. One, "Network Extensions 3", violates the Steam Subscriber Agreement by "discriminating against specific Steam users" blocking them from using it, Colossal Order say. Another mod, "Update From Github", aimed to circumvent the Steam Workshop entirely by allowing updates to mods to be installed directly form Github while "making changes to existing Workshop subscriptions without the user's knowledge." Complicating matters somewhat is a sea of rumours about what else the mods contained, and a series of counter-allegations about Colossal Order from the creator of the mods. |

Nintendo's North American branch announced it is closing the 3DS and Wii U eShop in late March 2023. Users will no longer be able to make purchases or download free demos from the store. The company will also cease support for credit card transactions and the use of Nintendo eShop Cards. Earlier in 2022, Nintendo ended support for credit card payments in the Japanese eShop. As of May 23, 2022, regions will also no longer be able to use credit cards to purchase games in the store. Furthermore, the Nintendo eShop Card will also no longer be supported starting August 29, 2022. After that, the only way to purchase games will be to link your Nintendo Network ID wallet to your Nintendo Account. By doing so, players will be able to make purchases using the shared balance. It will still be possible to re-download games and DLC that you already own as well as download software updates, even though the 3DS and Wii U eShop will be closing. A handful of free themes will also be available in the 3DS Theme Shop after the shutdown. It also will not affect online play. However, users who wish to purchase or download new games must do so by March 2023. As for the Nintendo the My 3DS & Wii U Memories website, it is dedicated to tracking all of your 3DS and Wii U gaming statistics. By logging into your Nintendo account through the site, players can choose to see their most played games ranging from 2011 to 2020. The site shows a person their total Wii U play time and number of games played. It also offers a graph with your most played genres. The three most-played titles will be listed too. As for the 3DS section, it shows your "most memorable game." The Nintendo 3DS and Wii U eShop will be closing in late March 2023. More live-action Sonic the Hedgehog media is on the way, with a Sonic 3 movie and live-action show on the way. The Paramount+ show will appear in 2023. There's no release window yet for the next movie. Here's the statement from Satomi announcing Sonic movie 3.
Sonic movie 2 will appear on April 8, 2022. That installment will bring in familiar faces like Tails and Knuckles. While Colleen O'Shaughnessey will voice Tails in the game, Idris Elba will be Knuckles. Knuckles is also confirmed to appear in the upcoming Paramount+ TV show.
