Ultimate Ink Trash is an artist with a very clear goal: to take some of the biggest video games of the modern age and imagine what it would look like if they had the kind of illustrated, retro vibes you'd see on the box art for consoles like the Mega Drive and TurboGrafx.

A "series of copyright takedowns" have been striking the Destiny community since late last week, taking down musical videos hosted on YouTube. While normally this kind of action comes at the request of a publisher or studio, in this case Bungie says it has nothing to do with them.

For at least the last few months or more I've been dreading this week. As someone who is excited to check out Ghostwire: Tokyo, play my first Kirby game and enjoy some more co-op action in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, I'm sort of screwed. All of those games (and more!) come out this week on March 25.

virtua fighter 5 tekken

During the Virtua Fighter eSports Challenge Cup stream on March 20, 2022, Sega announced an upcoming crossover between Virtua Fighter 5 and Tekken 7. In the short trailer that played during the event, it showed Akira fighting as Kazuya and Lau fighting as Heihachi. The collaboration will not result in the actual Tekken characters appearing in the game. Rather, they will be skins for existing fighters.

The gameplay trailer is fairly brief and starts almost at the end of the stream. Here is the video, time-stamped to when it starts:

Akira wearing Kazuya's skin features the character's signature heterochromia, with his left eye glowing red. While the trailer does not show the entire fight, it does end with Kazuya's victory after Heihachi. Or, to be more precise, Akira's victory over Lau. It is unknown if Akira and Lau are the only characters skins that will be available via the Tekken 7 crossover in Virtua Fighter 5.

Another game series that appeared in Virtua Fighter 5 is the Yakuza series. The pack came out in December 2021 and included 19 new outfits and 20 new music tracks. During the stream, it was mentioned that after the Yakuza crossover, the Virtua Fighter 5 team wanted to do another one with a fellow fighting game.

Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown is available on the PlayStation 4, and the Tekken 7 collaboration pack will come out in the near future. There is no news regarding a concrete release date or pricing yet.

final fantasy vii genesis first soldier

Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier will add a "Premium Shinra Packs (CC FF&) B" set that has items pertaining to Genesis. You will be able to obtain skins that resemble Genesis over his appearances in the series, as well as items such as his sword. Though the announcement states that the pack will appear soon, there is no concrete release date yet.

Genesis is the main antagonist of Crisis Core and is a character from the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII. Zack, the protagonist of Crisis Core, is also a skin that you can obtain in The First Soldier. Zack was part of Premium Shinra Pack (CC FF7) A, along with Tifa. This means that you could potentially re-create Zack's confrontation with Genesis in The First Soldier, or have the two fight alongside each other on the same team.

The Zack, Genesis, and Tifa skins are part of the Bahamut Fury event, which runs until March 31, 2022. This means that the skins are only available until that date as well. During this event, you can fight against the Bahamut Fury boss and obtain CC FF7 Premium Shinra Pack Tickets. Each pack will cost 5 CC FF7 Premium Shinra Pack Tickets each.

Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier is available on mobile devices, and the Genesis pack will appear soon. Crisis Core is available on the PSP.
