Straight up, Rune Factory 5 on Switch was my most anticipated game of 2022. I loved how earlier games in the Harvest Moon spinoff series seamlessly incorporated fantasy worldbuilding into a farming simulator. Obtaining milk from weird-looking monster cows and harvesting leather off goblins was always a lot more…

Babylon's Fall doesn't have far to fall. The loot game, developed by the makers of such hall-of-fame action games as Nier: Automata and Astral Chain, is getting widely panned, referred to by some as the "worst" game currently out on PS5. But it's also playable on PC. Let's check in and see how that's going, shall we?

     Terraria-like Core Keeper reaches a half-million players

The top-down take on the Terraria concept had all the makings of a hit, and the Core Keeper player count continues to reach new highs. The folks at developer Pugstorm and publisher Fireshine Games have announced that Core Keeper has now sold over 500,000 units in Steam Early Access, just two weeks after launch.

Core Keeper previously reached 100,000 sales in its first two days, and 250,000 sales in its first week. Judging by the concurrent player counts on SteamDB, the pace of the sandbox game's success is accelerating, too. Core Keeper reached a record concurrent player count of 34,508 just this past Sunday.

As Core Keeper is in Early Access, we know more updates are on the way. Marketing director Sarah Hoeksma says in a press release that there are "some exciting plans for the game's future", and the devs "can't wait to share more in the weeks and months ahead". So it seems we can expect more explicit detail on those updates in the near future.

     Valorant patch 4.05 nerfs Brimstone

Riot Games is nerfing Brimstone's stim beacons in Valorant patch 4.05. While the developer had buffed him as recently as update 4.04 at the start of March, he's now a bit too good, so the team is stepping in again.

"Some call him 'Brimmy with the stimmy.' And while it's been exciting to see you all leverage Brimstone's recent Stim Beacon balance in fresh ways, we think having two stims reduced the importance of deploying it at the right moment," community strategist Jeff Landa explains. "The changes below are our attempt to address this while still retaining Brimstone's refined identity as a 'bursty' excellence of execution."

Brimstone now has one stim beacon charge instead of two, and the cost to replenish them has increased to 200 from 100. It's not all bad news, though, as many Brimstone buffs from the previous patch are still intact. If you've been out of the loop, the agent's stim beacon now applies a 15% speed boost in addition to RapidFire. Sky Smoke, meanwhile, remains untouched. Riot recently decreased deploy time to one second from two, and deploy radius was increased to 5,500 from 5,000.

     Fortnite Omni Chip locations

Want to know how to get Fortnite Omni Chips? It's an all-out war in the popular battle royale game, as the Imagined Order invades the otherwise calm island. One of the early unlocks in this season's Fortnite battle pass is the Omni sword, a customisable harvesting tool that costs seven battle stars.

So, where can you find Fortnite Omni Chips? As soon as you unlock the new sword, you get four Omni Chips to spend immediately and can earn more by completing season challenges. You use these chips to unlock new styles, and each individual style costs anywhere from four to six chips. However, after unlocking the Omni Sword, you'll also get quests that require you to find more chips at specific locations on the new Fortnite map. Finding these chips is easier said than done, especially when everyone's running around using the new Fortnite sprint mechanics.

To help you collect these chips as painlessly as possible and help you to unlock all of the Omni Sword styles, we have put together some maps showing all the Fortnite Omni Chip locations, starting with the nine Omni Chips you can get in week 1 of Chapter 3 Season 2.

Fortnite tanks: locations and how to destroy

Want to know where to find and how to use Fortnite tanks? Chapter 3 Season 2 is all about the full-scale Imagined Order invasion. They mean business, bringing an arsenal of new technology to the battle royale game, including siege cannons and airships. They've also got tanks, a new type of vehicle capable of unleashing salvos of high-velocity shells. To make matters worse, we're prevented from building structures - at least for the time being - so any opponent driving a tank is a deadly adversary.

So where do Tanks spawn in Fortnite, and how do you destroy them? The tank spawn locations are easy to find throughout the Fortnite map, and the best place to look for them is inside territory controlled by the Imagined Order, within the red lines. Once you've found a tank, you'll want to know how to use it; the UI that appears when you enter the tank is slightly confusing at first, and it'll take some time to get used to.

If you're having trouble controlling a Fortnite tank, you've come to the right place. We jumped into the hot seat to get to grips with the Fortnite tank's controls, so think of us as your driving instructor for these colossal war machines. We'll also tell you how to eliminate an opponent driving a tank to level the playing field as quickly as possible.

Guild Wars 2 devs confirm fourth expansion and Steam release

Guild Wars 2 expansion 4 is confirmed - the next big addition to the MMO game after last month's End of Dragons, which developer ArenaNet says is in development now. Furthermore, the team is preparing the Guild Wars 2 Steam release and is "set on launching this year".

The excellent Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons expansion finally released in February this year, and the fantasy game is already being prepped for the future. In a new blog post, ArenaNet says that "Guild Wars 2 has a bright future ahead of it". Along with the return of Living World Season One from the MMO's earlier days and the increase of support to World vs. World, the developer also makes two big release reveals.

For starters, ArenaNet says that "one of our top priorities as a studio is getting Guild Wars 2 ready for release on Steam" and the team wants to ensure it's done right. At the moment there is still work to be done, such as Steam integration and cleaning up the game for a new platform launch. "We're not ready to commit to a hard date for Steam quite yet," the post reads, "but our hearts are set on launching this year."

Best SD card for Steam Deck in 2022

Valve's new handheld gaming PC has the largest catalogue of launch games we've ever seen, but you'll find it tough fitting many of them on your device without popping in the best SD card for Steam Deck. Of the three Steam Decks available, 512GB is the most internal storage you'll get, which will just about fit Call of Duty: Warzone, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Assassin's Creed: Valhalla with enough room for SteamOS.

Fortunately, you can expand storage easily enough. Those of you that don't want to deep dive under the hood to install an NVMe SSD into your Steam Deck can use the microSD card slot on the bottom to cram up to 1TB of storage - at least until a 2TB card finally hits shelves. You might even get away with one you've previously used with your smartphone if you don't mind formatting it, but you'll need to make sure it has good read speeds and enough storage first - fast write speeds are a bonus.

Generally speaking, microSD cards are a little slower than the eMMC storage found in the base Steam Deck, so you'll want to keep all your favourite games on the device itself. That said, microSD cards let you take more games, movies, TV shows, and software on the go.

Total War: Warhammer 3 alt-tab crash fix gets a beta

The Total War: Warhammer 3 alt-tab crash fix is now available in beta on Steam. It's been a surprisingly long saga. The fix was supposed to be in update 1.0.2, but the devs found it was causing additional graphical issues, so it was delayed. Now, at last, it appears the relief is finally in sight - as long as there are no issues with the beta test, at least.

If you want to try the beta for the Total War: Warhammer 3 alt-tab crash fix, you can opt in on Steam by right-clicking the game title, choosing properties, then betas, and then selecting 'wh3_public_test – WH3 Public Test'. The beta patch will be a download of around 588MB. You will only be able to play with fellow beta users while you're opted in, however, so if you want to play multiplayer, be aware.

Assuming no major issues are discovered with the beta, the fix will hit the live game as part of update 1.1, scheduled to launch in early April. That update will also introduce Steam Workshop support, as well as an array of balance changes across the RTS game.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands system requirements – Borderlands 3 deja vu

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands needs less Borderlands and more DnD, but it looks like we're getting more of the same from a technical standpoint as 2K reveals the Tiny Tina's Wonderlands system requirements. Chances are if your gaming PC can run Borderlands 3, it should be able to play 2K's latest without much issue, but there's a slight jump in the minimum specs.

The first difference is that you'll need to run at least Windows 10 on the latest service pack, as the developers don't mention Windows 7 support at all. The second is a higher barrier to entry, as your rig needs to pack either an AMD Radeon RX 470 or Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 - two generations newer than Borderlands 3's GPU requirements. This isn't ideal in a climate where it's difficult to upgrade your graphics card, but it's still quite modest.

Other than these changes, the two games ask for identical specifications: at least a ten-year-old gaming CPU, 6GB of RAM, and 75GB of storage space. The developers don't specifically recommend that you put the game on one of the best SSDs for gaming, but speedier loading times certainly won't hurt.

Dune: Spice Wars' release date reveal is coming

For any strategy game fans hoping to find out the Dune: Spice Wars release date, we've got good news - the reveal is coming very soon, along with the announcement of the game's fourth faction. The Dune: Spice Wars Steam Early Access release is planned first, and a recent leak suggests that it'll launch as soon as next month.

Dune: Spice Wars was announced as a hybrid RTS-4X game in January this year, and developer Shiro Games - the creators of Northgard - confirmed that the latest Dune game would release in Steam Early Access first. Various factions will be available in this early access release, including the Atreides, Harkonnens, and the newly-revealed Smugglers - however, Shiro neglected to reveal when fans would get to play it.

Shiro Games' Adrien Briatta tells us in an interview that the team will announce Dune's Early Access release date and its next faction "soon". More specifically, the reveal is coming in "something like two weeks".

WoW's Mage Tower is returning for good

Blizzard Entertainment is bringing back World of Warcraft's Mage Tower, but this time permanently. You'll be able to access the solo-focused content whenever you fancy once it returns to the Broken Shore on March 29.

The Mage Tower initially came to WoW during the Legion expansion in 2016. It's remained popular with fans since, with Blizzard bringing it back in a limited capacity during a Shadowlands patch last year as a result. The problem with the Legion Timewalking event, though, is that the Mage Tower would only be available when it came into rotation every now and then.

"When we originally developed the Legion Timewalking bonus event, we were looking for other fun features from Legion we could add to it," the WoW devs explain. "Timeworn Keystones were part of that, and the Mage Tower as well. Having heard feedback and seen how it has played out, we agree that a personal skill challenge being available only for a short window of time every few months isn't in the spirit of these types of events. As such, starting on the week of March 29, the Mage Tower will be accessible at any time, no longer tied to the Legion Timewalking bonus event."

Rare unveils Sea of Thieves: Forts of the Forgotten

Sea of Thieves: Forts of the Forgotten is the next limited-time, story-driven adventure for the pirate game, and developer Rare has lifted the veil on the content with a new cinematic trailer. The event begins this Thursday and will last for two weeks, and will have you assaulting the new Sea Forts and working against a faction led by Captain Flameheart.

Forts of the Forgotten will run from March 24 through April 7. As Rare explains in the official description: "The denizens of Golden Sands outpost need your help, before it's too late! Sharpen your swords and prepare to lay siege to the Sea Forts in the next Sea of Thieves adventure."

A new cinematic trailer offers a story setup that's setting the hearts of lore fans aflutter. A pair of Spanish ghosts are chatting about their service to Flameheart, while the Servant of Flame shows up to threaten Wonda - the Golden Sands weaponsmith - in a prison cell. Then we cut to the Warsmith - also known as Wonda's sister, Wanda - sailing the seas toward a Sea Fort.

Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.52 fixes more progress-blocking bugs

Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.52 is here, and it's good news for those who are still facing some quest-blocking bugs. While I'll always have a soft spot for some of the RPG's sillier bugs, it's probably for the best that CD Projekt Red squashes them.

The Cyberpunk 2077 update fixes issues with ten different quests that could prevent players from progressing through the story. One glitch in Automatic Love sent players to their death if they wandered into an elevator in Megabuilding H8. Another bug in Blistering Love caused Johnny to despawn if you left the booth before interacting with the projector, making progressing a bit difficult.

Alongside other quest fixes, you've also got heaps of gameplay improvements. If you drive too quickly, you'll no longer suffer from multiple wrecked or Nomad cars potentially spawning in. CD Projekt Red has also fixed an issue where you could repeatedly play the first-equip animation after recovering a throwing knife. Finally, there are some UI and visual quality-of-life improvements that make things smoother, too.

Don't expect Stay Puft in Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed

Fans shouldn't get their hopes up if they're hoping to see a Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed Stay Puft fight or any alternate modes where they take on a giant ghost or deity-type entity. Developer Illfonic is focusing "on the day-to-day ghostbusting thing" with the new Ghostbusters multiplayer game, so there's just one mode for now - and that might not be a bad thing.

All of the Ghostbusters movies end with what is essentially a giant boss battle - often, very literally. The original movie's Stay Puft Marshmallow Man is the most famous, with the 2016 reboot ending on a fight with a kaiju version of the team's own logo. Ghostbusters: The Video Game included multiple fights with minor gods - including Stay Puft - but Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed won't, nor will it have any other modes beyond the main 4v1.

"You need to build an asymmetrical game from the ground up with one mode," IllFonic's CCO Jared Gerritzen tells PCGamesN. "To get that balance really good, you need to be focused on one element. We've played other modes where we've tried adding other variants of things, and it was too frantic."

Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed is an Epic exclusive for now

Is Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed an Epic exclusive? Afraid so. The new Ghostbusters multiplayer game has a release date of later this year for PC and consoles, and on PC it'll be exclusive to the Epic Games Store at launch - just like the franchise's last game Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered.

After being accidentally confirmed last year, today Friday the 13th: The Game and Predator: Hunting Grounds developer Illfonic announced multiplayer ghost game Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed - which basically acts as a direct sequel to last year's Ghostbusters Afterlife movie.

Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed currently has a release date of around Q4 2022 - so it's still a while away - but Illfonic confirms that when it does release, it'll be an Epic Games Store exclusive on PC. The press release specifies the game "will launch" as an Epic-only release, and PCGamesN spoke to Illfonic's PR who confirmed that Ghostbusters is only "a timed exclusive" on Epic. Therefore, Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed will come to Steam at a later point - most likely sometime in 2023.

Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed is basically an Afterlife sequel

Friday the 13th developer Illfonic's new project is a Ghostbusters multiplayer game, and it's basically a direct Ghostbusters Afterlife sequel. Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed is out later this year, and it'll continue the story "shortly after" the 2021 movie's post-credits scene.

PCGamesN recently sat down with the heads of Illfonic to check out Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed, the studio's new ghost game that was accidentally confirmed last year prior to the release of Afterlife. It's a 4v1 asymmetric multiplayer game where four Ghostbusters - all player-created and customisable - try to catch a troublesome spook haunting a building.

At the end of Ghostbusters Afterlife, the post-credits scene teases a sequel where a now-wealthy Winston Zeddemore (Ernie Hudson) buys the Ghostbusters firehouse and the iconic Ecto-1. Spirits Unleashed, for now at least, is seemingly that sequel. "The timeline is shortly after the Afterlife film," confirms CCO Jared Gerritzen, "where Winston has reformed the Ghostbusters and you are one of the new hires." Ernie Hudson and Dan Ackroyd's Ray are returning, and the developer says they have a story reason for being there.

Skyrim mod adds a fast food joint

A new Skyrim mod gives the classic PC game what it's seen precious little of over the years - a fast food restaurant. Sure, you can stuff your gob with all the sweet rolls you want, but you're out of luck if you fancy unloading with a Big Mac after slaying a dragon. As ever, though, modders have now come to the rescue.

Hrodeberht1 and Bella's Burger Jarl mod adds a new fully functioning inn between Whiterun and Rorikstead - it's close to the Broken Fang Cave if you're still struggling to place it. Once you find it, you can head on in and order something off the menu. You've got chicken nuggets, shakes, and the Big Jarl, which is essentially a big cheeseburger. Burger Jarl is far from a lonely place, though, as there are heaps of staff, such as a crab called Eugene who runs the ride-through stall.

Funnily enough, this isn't the first time Hrodeberht1 and Bella have brought some fast food to Tamriel. This other cheesy mod sends a necromancer to your location with a big ol' pizza, but only if you ask them nicely.

Microsoft investigates Bing and Cortana source code hack

Microsoft is looking into a potential security breach involving an extortionist hacker group. Known as LAPSUS$, the gang previously compromised Nvidia, Samsung, and Ubisoft, and a new statement suggests they have now breached the Windows 11 company's internal systems and data.

Highlighted by Vice, a screenshot shared to a private Telegram channel suggests LAPSUS$ has gained access to an Azure DevOps account. The image specifically details source code linked to the Bing search engine and Cortana. In a statement, Microsoft confirmed that it's "aware" of the claims and that it's investigating the situation.

LAPSUS$ hasn't issued any demands to Microsoft yet, but it's known for attempting to force companies to fulfil its wishes. For example, it previous asked Nvidia to unlock its best graphics cards in an effort to enable crypto mining on GPUs with a hash rate limiter. That's not to say the hackers aren't interested in money, however, as it has also held data ransom and issued leak threats to its victims.

How to sprint in Fortnite: new tactical sprint and parkour

Want to know about how Fornite's tactical sprint works? Now that Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 has removed building, there's a new way to quickly traverse the map and grab onto just-out-of-reach places thanks to a new sprint mechanic. Your default running speed has been increased in the new season, but in addition to that, now you can go even faster when the occasion calls for it, using the new tactical sprint.

Fortnite tactical sprint lets you move quickly and even bust through doorways, but it also removes your ability to shoot. You may need to check that the ability is bound to a key when you next boot the game, but once you do you'll be able to make full use of the new dash.

This will likely come in handy for upcoming weekly challenges, and there may even be parts of the new Fortnite map that are designed with this new feature in mind. So without further ado, let's get into everything you need to know about Fortnite tactical sprint.

Internet Explorer bows out of the browser game this summer

Internet Explorer's retirement has been a long time coming, but Microsoft warns it's finally time to say goodbye to its longstanding browser. While the software isn't a part of the Windows 11 arsenal of apps, it'll soon cease to exist on most versions of Windows 10 and will be subsequently eradicated from every iteration of the operating system soon after.

According to a fresh wave of notices issued to Windows 10 users, Internet Explorer will first be removed from newer builds of the OS in June. If you like to avoid Windows updates, you might find that the browser will exist for a little longer, but it's safe to say the software is ready to be properly consigned to history.

Microsoft Edge has been patiently waiting at the sidelines to replace Internet Explorer since its 2015 debut, and it'll start properly filling in for its elder shortly. As a result, legacy IE shortcuts should launch the new Chromium-based browser, something that could come as a shock if you're not used to the newcomer's cleaner aesthetic.

George R.R. Martin says his initials are not in Elden Ring

Sorry, folks, but George R.R. Martin's initials appearing in Elden Ring are purely coincidental. Oodles of fans noticed that all the new PC game's demigods have names that start with G, R, or M - Godfrey, Radahn, or Margit, to name a few. The author has now clarified, though, that it wasn't an intentional play on his part.

"Oh, and as long as I am setting stuff straight, there's a weird story all over the internet about how I 'hid' my initials in Elden Ring because, ah, some of the characters have names beginning with R, or G, or M," the author writes in a blog post. "To which I say, 'Eh? What? Really?' This was news to me. I have been writing and publishing stories since 1971, and I suspect that I have been giving characters names beginning with R and G and M since the start. Along with the other twenty-three letters of the alphabet as well.

"Coming up with names is hard, especially since A Song of Ice and Fire uses so many of them, and I am fond of giving family members and close kin names that have something in common - but really, why would I have to hide my name inside the game? My name is right there on the game, as one of the creators. Hey, Elden Ring is exciting enough, no need to make up stuff."

League of Legends patch 12.6 notes – Anima Squad skins, new Rune

The League of Legends updates are coming thick and fast. LoL patch 12.5 has hit the live server, introducing a wonderful selection of bee-inspired skins to the MOBA. Don't bee-lieve for one second, though, that's all we got. Riot has tweaked Master Yi and Seraphine with some solid changes, while several other LoL champs got some quality-of-life adjustments, too.

Now, though, it's time to look toward LoL patch 12.6. We're sticking with the animal theme this time around as the new Anima Squad skins have hit the PBE. If you've been out of the loop, a few champions - such as Vayne, Miss Fortune, and Jinx - are getting some punky skins themed around bats, bunnies, cats, and more. You can check out the in-game clips of these in action and their splash art in the skins section below.

We're still quite early into the patch cycle, but we're starting to see some champion changes. Keep checking in, though, as we'll keep this post regularly updated.

Well, well, well. Last night CD Projekt said they're working on a new Witcher game. All we've got to go on is a cryptic image of a lynx-like Witcher medallion sitting in a bed of snow. Some of us from the Treehouse ran through what we'd like to see from The Witcher 4, including some truly insightful quotes about leg muscles from myself. One thing I failed to mention, though, was Roach, Geralt's horse.

I'm sure Roach has a great personality, I'm sure he's very kind. But from a purely professional standpoint, I can't stand him. He's hardly smooth in the stirrups, nor can he really climb anything substantial. That's why I'd like Roach swapped out for Elden Ring's Torrent, a horse-goat that corners like Colin McCrae and double jumps like Super Mario. The Witcher 4 deserves a super horse like Torrent.

In the comments under my interview with the Paradise Killer devs last week, someone suggested posting more of the answers as like a B-side. I thought this was an excellent suggestion, for three reasons: 1) it's a much easier post to write on my part compared to doing the full interview; b) Oli Clarke Smith and Phil Crabtree said a bunch of interesting things that I wasn't able to cram into the article; iii) it might give you a sense of how weird interviews actually are.

This transcript is just two questions and a follow-up, but runs to over 1500 words. The whole conversation I had with these two dudes was over 40 minutes long. So much of interviews gets discarded (like tears in rain etc) and the process of distilling it all down to a few quotes can be, to put it succinctly, a pain in the hole. Especially if your interview subject talks quickly. Top tip to people who don't like interviews: talk slowly. It'll be over faster.

Starship Troopers - Terran Command, an upcoming RTS based on the film series, has been delayed to June 16th 2022. Well, in the grand scheme of delays, that's not too bad. The original release date for Starship Troopers - Terran Command was March 31st, just nine days away. Publisher Slitherine Games and developers The Artistocrats announced the news in a Steam post for the game, pinning the reason on "further polish and bug fixing."

Last night, CD Projekt announced they were working on a brand-new Witcher game. Details are thin on the ground at the moment. All we have to go on is a cryptic piece of artwork showing what appears to be a lynx-like medallion peeking through some snow, and a declaration that it's going to represent a "new saga" of The Witcher series. Heck, we don't even know if it's technically going to be called The Witcher 4 yet (it probably isn't, in fairness), but for sake of ease that's how I'm going to refer to it for the time being.

Still, talk of a new saga has got me thinking. Does that mean we'll simply see a new protagonist in the existing Witcher timeline we know and love? (Ciri, perhaps, or young hot Vesemir?) Or will it go earlier, maybe tying into the upcoming Netflix prequel The Witcher: Blood Origin that's set 1200 years before the events of the books? Or something else entirely? We probably won't know the answers for some time, but until CD Projekt have more beans to spill, RPS asks: what would you like to see from a new game in The Witcher series?

The Taiwanese studio Red Candle Games have put up a crowdfunding page for their latest project Nine Sols, and it looks promising. It's an action platformer with gorgeous hand-drawn animation work, and as Red Candle put it, it's "a journey of Asian fantasy inspired by Sekiro, Hollow Knight and Katana Zero." That's me sold. And clearly a lot of other people agree too, because Nine Sols broke its goal of three million Taiwanese dollars (that's roughly £80,000) within 24 hours.

Masaharu Kaito Gets Sneaky in a New Lost Judgment DLC Trailer

Sega's been gradually showing how Masaharu Kaito is different as a detective and investigator than Takayuki Yagami in Lost Judgment DLC trailers. The latest one focuses on another one of his ways of handling cases. In it, we see how stealthy he can be.

As shown in the Lost Judgment video, Kaito tends to rely on tactics that temporarily distract someone so he can beat them up. In the first situation, he hides behind some conveniently placed cardboard boxes. He tosses a coin to distract an opponent. Once they are focused on it, he comes up behind them and strikes. In the second situation, he knocks on the door. When it opens, he briefly hides behind it before then using it to beat another person up.

The last few videos all focused on his unique capabilities. In one, his Bruiser and Tank styles appeared. These are the two options you have when fighting foes. Another looked at how Kaito uses his senses to find clues.

Lost Judgment is available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X, and The Kaito Files DLC will arrive on March 28, 2022. You can get it alone or as part of a $34.99 season pass that includes other DLC.

In Stars and Time RPG Traps Players in a Time Loop

There's a new indie RPG with shades of Undertale and Earthbound on the way called In Stars and Time. Adrienne Bazir's upcoming PC game features a monochromatic color palette, quirky humor, and turn-based battles against exaggerated enemies. However, there's a serious undertone, as Vaugarde's king is freezing the land in time, it is the day before the world ends, and the player's group is trying to stop it. However, there's a time loop in effect that makes it possible to start over after dying and try again.

Here's the first trailer. It introduces Siffrin, the leader of the group of warriors trying to save the day. After Mirabelle wakes them up in a field, they go to fight the king. However, along the way players could often die, causing the time loop to kick in so they can restart, thwart that death, and continue onward. It also shows off the Indie RPG's Earthbound-like battle system. Characters in the game can be tied to the rock, paper, or scissors type, which influences their attacks, strengths, and weaknesses.

Here are the first screenshots for In Stars and Time. They show off some of the main characters and the game's personality.

Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed is an Asymmetrical 4v1 Game

Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed is the latest Ghostbusters game on the way, and this time it is tapping into the 4v1 asymmetrical multiplayer trend. As one might imagine, four people will be Ghostbusters, while one person will be a ghost. The goal for each side will be to outdo the other, with both sides being able to upgrade their skills and equipment.

As this game is tapping into the Ghostbusters series, it will feature a number of cameos and references. You start out in the Firehouse before each mission. Both Ernie Hudson and Dan Aykroyd reprise their roles as Winston Zeddemore and Ray Stantz. The Ecto-1 car is there, and equipment and uniforms reference the original movies.

Here's the first trailer. It goes over both story elements and gameplay. Also, while this is ideally a five player game, there will be optional AI companions to help fill matches if someone wants to play alone.

Illfonic is known for its 4v1 asymmetrical multiplayer games as of late. Especially ones tied to existing movie series. It created both Predator: Hunting Grounds for the PS4 and PC and Friday the 13th: The Game for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed will come to the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC at the end of 2022.

Guilty Gear Strive Testament video starter guide trailer

Testament joins Guilty Gear Strive on March 28, 2022 for season pass holders, as the final new character of Season 1. Arc System Works wants to make sure players get a head start on strategy with the former penultimate boss of Guilty Gear. As such, it's released a Testament Starter Guide video to give fans the rundown on the character's new moves and playstyle in Guilty Gear Strive.

Check out the Guilty Gear Strive Testament Starter Guide video below.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DfAEQnbjt2c

Testament was once a boss character from Guilty Gear but wasn't playable during Guilty Gear Xrd or its sequels. In Guilty Gear Strive Testament returns with a new look and an updated characterization. Once portrayed as androgynous and referred to with male pronouns, Arc System Works has confirmed that Testament is agender. Agender is a form of non-binary identity that eschews gender classification entirely. Testament is thus referred to on the official website and in the Starter Guide video using "they/them" pronouns. They're voiced in Japanese by Yuu Kobayashi, who also plays Enkidu in Fate/Grand Order and Sasha Braus in Attack on Titan.

In-game, Testament is a powerful zone character, dominating mid-range play with a wide variety of projectiles and far-reaching normal attacks. In Guilty Gear Strive Testament uses mechanics revolving around inflicting the "Stain" state on opponents. Hitting a Stained opponent with certain moves will automatically trigger a follow-up attack, opening them up for combos or further pressure.

Testament can also summon their Succubus familiars, using them as lingering projectiles to keep enemies in danger, and even alter the behavior of other projectiles. For example, Testament can set up a Succubus to float somewhere, then use Unholy Diver to cause their crow familiar to "home in" on the Succubus, resulting in an unpredictable flight path. Testament can even teleport to the Succubus's location to reposition quickly.

Testament joins the Guilty Gear Strive roster on March 28, 2022. The game is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.

Genshin Impact Xiao Wallpaper monthly calendar April 2022

miHoYo has released a Genshin Impact monthly calendar for April 2022, this time featuring Xiao. More specifically, the calendar features the artwork for the character's card. Xiao is seen holding his Yaksha mask and wielding a spear. And while the monthly calendar image does have Japanese text, it can be used regardless of region. The Genshin Impact calendar for April 2022 featuring Xiao can be downloaded from the Japanese Twitter account. You can find the tweet below.

[embed]https://twitter.com/Genshin_7/status/1506118473759354881[/embed]

Like previous Genshin Impact monthly calendars, certain days are marked corresponding to individual characters' birthdays. This calendar has April 17 marked, which is Xiao's birthday. April 30 is also marked for the birthday of Diluc. A previous calendar featuring Thoma did the same thing, marking both his birthday and the birthday of a couple other characters. Other calendars have featured characters like Beidou.

Outside of calendar-specific wallpapers, miHoYo has released live wallpapers featuring Genshin Impact characters through the N0va Desktop application. These live wallpapers are usually based on EPs and feature specific characters. Xiao has received a live wallpaper, alongside characters like Diluc, Zhongli, and Keqing.

Genshin Impact is available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and Android and iOS devices. It is in development for Nintendo Switch. The 2.6 update will launch on March 30, 2022.

Soul Hackers 2 Characters

Atlus has provided the full biographies for Iron Mask, Zenon, and Ichiro Onda, key characters that will appear in Soul Hackers 2. While the characters were previously shown through a Soul Hackers 2 trailer, these new biographies share their individual motivations in the story. Please keep in mind these character biographies will contain spoilers for Soul Hackers 2. Those looking to remain unspoiled leading to the release of the game may want to avoid reading further. [Thanks, Gamer!]

[gallery columns="4" ids="921292,921293,921294,921295" link="file"]

Iron Mask (CV: Yuichi Nakamura) is a Devil Summoner who belongs to the Phantom Society and serves as the leader of the "C" project. He is known for his ruthlessness, and few within the Phantom Society have ever seen his face.

[gallery columns="4" ids="921291,921290,921289,921288" link="file"]

Zenon (CV: Kazuyuki Okitsu) is an artificial demon who was created by Iron Mask. However, despite his artificial creation he is still categorized as a devil. While Zenon is excellent at fighting, he lacks intelligence. At the command of Iron Mask, he kills Ichiro Onda and steals his Covenant.

[gallery columns="4" ids="921287,921286,921285,921284" link="file"]

Ichiro Onda (CV: Kentaro Ito) was a world-famous computer engineer before he was murdered by Iron Mask and Zenon. However, before his death he managed to complete the program known as the "Vanishing System." He was previously a holder of a Covenant.

Further information about these characters and their significance to the story of Soul Hackers 2 was also shared. This included information concerning the Phantom Society and a peek into their motivations. Additionally, it has been revealed that the Yatagarasu has some connection to the Kuzunoha Clan.

Soul Hackers 2 New Story Details

Atlus shared new story and character details concerning Soul Hackers 2. This includes information about three characters that will be integral to the story, along with details about the "Covenant" and a secondary organization known as the Yatagarasu. Please keep in mind this story information could contain potential spoilers. Those looking to avoid spoilers leading up to the release of Soul Hackers 2 may want to avoid reading below. [Thanks, Gamer!]

As previously shared, Soul Hackers 2 will star Ringo, a new protagonist to the series. Both Ringo and Figue have appeared to stop the destruction of mankind. This was suggested during the period Atlus was teasing Soul Hackers 2. Ringo and Figue must protect a specific individual to prevent the fall of mankind.

However, Ichiro Onda, the person Figue was supposed to protect, has already been killed. He was murdered by two mysterious figures known as Iron Mask and Zenon. Both Iron Mask and Zenon belong to the Phantom Society, whose core motivation is to control the Covenant. Their goal is to obtain all of the Covenants, which will summon a being of great power. Most agents of the Phantom Society harbor a great resentment towards the world.

The Yatagarasu organization has taken it upon itself to protect the Covenants to prevent this from happening. This organization is concerned with the "spiritual" protection of Japan. It accepts any within its organization and is wholly independent. The Yatagarasu is linked to the clan of the late Devil Summoner Raidou Kuzunoha.

Soul Hackers 2 releases for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC on August 25, 2022 in Japan and globally on August 26, 2022.

Microsoft Flight Simulator World Update VIII delayWorld Update VIII for Microsoft Flight Simulator was supposed to release today. Asobo even recently reconfirmed that the update was on track for this scheduled date. However, that rollout will now take place on March 24. Asobo's sudden change in plans has nothing to do with the update's state of readiness, as has happened before. Rather, it has to do with the sudden and tragic accident that took place on March 21, involving the crash of China Eastern Airlines 5735.   Gray skies As the report from Flightradar24 puts it, China Eastern Airlines flight 5735 took off from Kunming, China and was heading to the city of Guangzhou during the afternoon of March 21. The majority of the flight was business as usual, as the aircraft reached its cruising altitude of 29,100ft and carried along nominally. Just under an hour after it ascended to cruising altitude, however, the aircraft suddenly plummeted all the way to 7425 feet at a rapid rate of speed. It managed to recover itself...
