The Fortnite April Crew Pack headliner is a ninja catgirl

The Fortnite April Crew Pack 2022 is now revealed by Epic Games, so monthly subscribers can see the next skin they'll be getting for the battle royale game - and in this case, it's a purple cat-owl ninja assassin called Sayara who likes dancing, DJ, and death.

This month's March Crew Pack consists of the heart-breakingly pink Tracy Trouble and her skull-heart back bling, which will only be available until March 31. After that point, it'll be replaced with the April Crew Pack - which Epic has just announced.

The new skin, as mentioned, is Sayara - a masked ninja assassin lady with an owl-like mask and a mean cat impression, as Epic's reveal video below shows. It'll be available on March 31 at 4:59pm PT / 7:59pm ET / 12:59am BST on April 1, which is exactly when Tracy Trouble will go away, so make sure to sign up if you want to get that exclusive skin. As always, subscriptions cost $11.99, but that does also include 1,000 V-Bucks a month too.

Among Us servers down thanks to sabotage

Are Among Us servers down in the US and Europe? It seems so, as the social deduction multiplayer game is apparently under DDoS attack this weekend by hackers. Developer Innersloth is working on getting the servers back up but confirms - Among Us is sabotaged.

Among Us is one of the most recognisable indie games in the world and basically single-handedly popularised the social deduction game - including the part about the enemy team needing to sabotage key systems to sneakily take down the other players. Fortunately, Innersloth is taking the irony of Among Us itself being sabotaged with good humour.

As Innersloth reported on Friday, its servers in North America and Europe were hit by denial of service (DDoS) attacks - causing players to receive constant error messages when they tried to go online. Innersloth was forced to take Among Us offline to fix the problem, while jokingly complaining about having to work at the weekend (tell me about it).

Bored of Elden Ring? Don't worry, Bloodborne Kart is coming

Bloodborne Kart is coming, for those that think that Elden Ring is great but isn't enough of a racing game. It's a tongue-in-cheek new project from the creators of the Bloodborne PS1 demake, and it's not an April Fool's Day joke. We think, anyway.

FromSoftware's Bloodborne is top of the list of best console games we wish were on PC, so for now PC users' only option is to play the PS1-style demake of Bloodborne which released earlier this year. We're also less than a week away from April Fool's Day, and last year the demake team made a funny announcement that it was cancelling Bloodborne PSX and making Bloodborne Kart instead.

Now, apparently, the team says it is actually, really working on Bloodborne Kart as a genuine game. Lead @b0tster has started posting development threads on Twitter. They plan to have multiple racers with their own unique karts, including karts and the cool Akira-style bike in the picture above.

Portal 2 mod overhauls the graphics to Half-Life: Alyx level

A Portal 2 mod "in development for several years" plans to overhaul the adventure game's graphics to make Aperture Science look as good as Valve Software's most recent game Half-Life: Alyx made City 17 look - and Portal 2: Desolation will get a new story, too. So, Portal 3, right?

While we wouldn't necessarily call it an old game, Portal 2 is both an all-time classic and, well, nearly eleven years old at this point. Not only does Half-Life: Alyx look much better than it, so does a free game set in Aperture Science that Valve released to promote the Steam Deck.

The ambitious Portal 2: Desolation mod aims to change all that, on top of a brand new story. It's already been in development for a few years - we last heard about it in 2019, where it promised a more "unsettling" story in the Portal universe along with 40-50 test chambers of moderate difficulty and an average playtime of roughly six to eight hours.

FFVII Loveless

If you've ever wondered how much it would cost to go see Loveless in FFVII Remake, Square Enix has you covered. In honor of World Theatre Day, the company revealed some key details about the fictional play including prices for premium tickets, as well as the full poster design as it appeared in FFVII Remake.

Loveless is a musical that originally appeared in Final Fantasy VII, featured prominently on a large billboard in Midgar. The musical also appeared in FFVII Remake with a different poster design. Derived from a book of poetry, the story is so popular that a street in Midgar was named after it. While initially playing a relatively minor role in both games, the poem-turned-play would go on to be a major plot point in Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII.

According to Square Enix, there are actually two different theatrical versions of Loveless. The more well-known of the two is the musical. However, there is also a stage play version that shows every year in Midgar. Additionally, first-floor premium seats can cost as much as 50,000 Gil. In comparison, a single Phoenix Down costs 300 Gil.

Here's a better look at the Loveless poster and other images from FFVII:

Previously, Square Enix also detailed the bathrooms and toilets of the Shinra building from FFVII Remake. It also offered insight and background information about Aerith's concept art as well as the Gainsborough house.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is available on PC, PS4, and PS5. Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 2 is in development.
