PCGamesN Monday, May 16, 2022 4:30 AM  We've had our first glimpse of the Zenless Zone Zero characters we'll be playing as in Hoyoverse's new action-RPG game, which was recently announced. It's immediately clear that this is going to be a different style of anime game than Genshin Impact with guns, anthropomorphic animals, and a contemporary cityscape featuring prominently in the announcement trailer. We don't know much about this new "urban fantasy" adventure, but its exuberant cast of characters were shown off in plenty of detail. First off, a little context. In Zenless Zone Zero, players take the role of a 'Proxy', a person that is uniquely able to enter and explore 'Hollows', which are dimensional rifts that have caused the destruction of the wider world. Hollows are also inhabited by roaming monsters called Ethereals, and as a Proxy, you can form a squad drawn from a diverse cast of Zenless Zone Zero characters to embark on expeditions into these rifts. Why? That part's a mystery for now, but one thing we do know is that the last surviving city of humanity - New Eridu - has survived partly because it has managed to find a way to exploit the Hollows for valuable resources, and there are plenty of factions in New Eridu that want to maximise these opportunities. The popular Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie is getting a physical release. Studio MAPPA announced that the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Blu-ray and DVD release date will fall on September 21, 2022. Both versions of the movie will include English subtitles as a standard. A Special Edition box set will also include bonus content such as an audio commentary track, booklets, a voiced comic, and live footage of the movie's first viewing. The standard Blu-ray version will cost ¥5,280 (about $40) and the DVD version will cost ¥4,180 (about $32). Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is a movie based on the first Jujutsu Kaisen manga serialized in 2017. Creator Gege Akutami later renamed the manga to Jujutsu Kaisen 0 after the official launch of the Jujutsu Kaisen series. The events of both the manga and movie predate the events of the main story, making it a prequel. The movie debuted in Japanese theatres in 2021 and garnered significant attention. Within 11 days of release, it became the second-fastest grossing movie in Japan behind Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train. Orders from retailers will include other merchandise such as acrylic stands, teddy bears, towels, and posters. Furthermore, the Special Edition will include two booklets. One booklet will feature key visuals and other promotional art, while the other will include "making of" content such as re-published and newly released interviews. Notably, the boxed set also includes a voiced comic of the 9-page Jujutsu Kaisen 0.5 manga that was distributed to theatergoers. Finally, fans will also get to see the movie's actors appear in live recordings of two Jujutsu Kaisen stage greeting events. FFXI started a new Adventurer Gratitude Campaign on May 16, 2022. It gives out free items upon logging into the MMO. The FFXI Gratitude Campaign lasts for seven weeks and ends on July 4, 2022. Players do not have to log in every day during this period to receive all the items. They just have to log in once a week for four different weeks to obtain them all. The first item up for grabs is an Echad Ring. It boosts the amount of experience points a character gains upon equipping it. There are no restrictions or expiration dates on the Echad Ring's effect, so the bonus it gives lasts indefinitely. FFXI veterans with an Echad Ring already receive a Red Mog Pell instead. A Red Mog Pell can be exchanged for various items. The second login item during the Adventurer Gratitude Campaign is the Red Crab. Players receive an red crab mount. Those that already have the cute crustacean earn 12 copper A.M.A.N. vouchers instead. A.M.A.N. vouchers are exchanged for things like 1,000 Mweya Plasms or Imperial Standings. Next up, people receive the Cipher: Kupofried upon the campaign's third login. This Trust spell summons Kupofried's alter ego. It does not participate in battle directly. As long as it is out on the field, it boosts the amount of experience a player gains. It complements the Echad Ring. Players in possession of this Trust spell previously receive Silver Mog Pells. The final login item in the Adventurer Gratitude Campaign is the Vana'clock. It is a decorative item for the player's Mog House. Vana'clock's special effect is Moghancement: Bounty. Just like the Echad Ring and Cipher: Kupofried Trust spell, it gives an experience point bonus upon placing it. A chocobo pops out of the Vana'clock at certain times of the day too. Those that have the stylish clock already receive another Red Mog Pell. May 16, 2022 also marks the start of the FFXI Mandragora Mania Madness event. People can get a Moogle shirt cosmetic by participating in it. Final Fantasy XI is available for PCs. The new Adventurer Gratitude Campaign will run in FFXI between May 16, 2022 - July 4, 2022. Passione and Studio Lings announced the two companies are working on an anime adaptation of Yuri Is My Job. The reveal included information about who will voice the two main characters, Hime and Mitsuki. Lastly, in commemoration of the anime adaptation, Wonder Parlor Cafe will offer a special menu featuring teas based on Hime and Mitsuki.
