The best V Rising weapons and how to get the unique reaper

Want to know what the best V Rising weapons are? There are seven different weapon types currently available in this vampire game, and while it's easy to say that the best ones are the ones with the largest stats, there's a little more to it. Every attack inflicts a proportion of your weapon's physical damage stat, we'll refer to this as 'physical damage' to avoid confusion. Therefore, the most crucial factor for any V Rising build is how much damage your weapon deals with per second.

To make the best V Rising weapons, you need to find materials from all around the game's map. Some advanced weapons require you to slay bosses to extract their V Blood, and perhaps even loot the desirable Orb of Knowledge from high-ranking enemies.

On top of all that, each weapon has two skills. The first one only appears after you equip copper tier weapons or higher, and the second while using iron tier weapons or above. Some skills are better for PvP combat, while others make short work of hordes of enemies in PvE. Depending on what V Rising servers you are playing on, you may have different priorities.

The best H4 Blixen loadout in Warzone Pacific

Searching for the best H4 Blixen loadout in Warzone Pacific? The Season 3 Reloaded update introduces the H4 Blixen to the battle royale game, a powerful SMG with an impressive time to kill speed. Warzone Pacific is no stranger to deadly SMGs, with Season 2's best Armaguerra 53 loadout firmly establishing itself as one of the best SMGs in Warzone right now.

The best H4 Blixen loadout stands out from the rest of the SMGs due to its incredible damage output. This SMG arrived at the perfect time, just as the player core health has increased from 100 to 150 across all game modes in Warzone Pacific. When customised using the right set of attachments, the H4 Blixen maintains its damage output while toning down the recoil to make the SMG easier to control.

Here's what you need to do to unlock the H4 Blixen in Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded: get three slide skills in a single match 15 times. Unlocking the SMG might be difficult if you only play Warzone, but you can speed up the process significantly by completing the challenge in Vanguard's multiplayer mode. Once you've acquired three slide kills in multiplayer, simply quit out of the match and head into another one to speed up the process.

Jurassic World Evolution 2 Dominion movie DLC leaks for June

May 27, 2022 - The Jurassic World Evolution 2: Dominion Biosyn expansion has now been officially announced.

It looks like the first proper Jurassic World Evolution 2 DLC expansion for the management game will be based around the Jurassic World Dominion movie and called 'Biosyn' - and is currently down for a release next month, just after the film itself opens.

It's one of the best dinosaur games on PC, but other than a few free updates and smaller DLC packs, we still haven't heard anything about the first proper Jurassic World Evolution 2 expansion - or, if developer Frontier is planning any sort of tie-in with the next movie Jurassic World Dominion, out on June 10.

It seems there will, as the unambiguously titled Jurassic World Evolution 2 Dominion Biosyn expansion just popped up on SteamDB, with a release date of June 14. The title is interesting, as Biosyn is a rival company to InGen that played a large role in the original Michael Crichton novels but has barely appeared in the movies - Dodgson in Jurassic Park worked for Biosyn, so it's kind of the source of the trouble in the entire series. It's rumoured that Dodgson and Biosyn will play some part in Dominion, so this DLC might be confirmation.

Stardew Valley like My Time at Sandrock player count nears 20,000

New game My Time at Sandrock is rocketing up the Steam user charts, nearing a concurrent player count of 20,000 desert-faring adventurers exploring the life simulation game. The spiritual successor to Pathea Games' My Time at Portia, My Time at Sandrock is a game like Stardew Valley that tasks you with building up the town and forming bonds with the residents along the way. In fact, we've already been diving into the My Time at Sandrock romance options to find out who you might be flirting with.

That's a pretty impressive start for the open-world game, which was released in Steam Early Access just yesterday (May 26). The Stardew Valley player count has been hovering around 30,000 concurrent farmers this year, so Pathea Games can take heart in its performance so far.

The Steam reviews are currently averaging at the 'mostly positive' mark at the time of writing, with commenters generally saying that the game feels like a refinement of My Time at Portia. While several reviewers note that they have run into bugs, people seem happy with the developer's response in documenting and addressing common issues.

MSI reveals special edition RTX 3080 inspired by AC Valhalla

The RTX 3080 is undeniably one of the best graphics cards you can buy for your gaming PC right now, with manufacturers keen to craft their own Nvidia GPU looks. With this in mind, a new pixel pusher has emerged that should pique the interest of any fans of Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

MSI has unveiled a special edition of its RTX 3080 Suprim X graphics card, inspired by Ubisoft's open-world Viking game (via Videocardz). The pixel pusher swaps out its comparatively plain gunmetal grey shroud for one with a two-tone blue scheme, clearly inspired by AC Valhalla's aesthetic. Look closely, and you'll notice the game's logo atop its central fan, too.

The GPU's backplate has received an Assassin's Creed makeover as well, featuring a turquoise coloured map motif that evokes the game's country-spanning journey across the medieval Norway and Great Britain. However, we think MSI missed a trick here by not swapping out its dragon logo for the AC Valhalla logo, but at least this version of the RTX 3080 retains its RGB customisation features.

Genshin Impact 2.7 preload is now available

The Genshin Impact 2.7 release date is in just a few days, but players eagerly anticipating the anime game's next big update can start downloading it now, as the Genshin Impact 2.7 preload is now available. PC players can continue to play the game while the preload is downloading, so you won't have to step away from the open-world game in the meantime.

The Genshin Impact 2.7 update is set for release on May 31, but players can save themselves time on release by downloading most of the update ahead of time, as detailed in a post on Hoyolab. The update itself comes in at a fairly hefty size, which varies slightly based on platform - for us the resource package to be downloaded comes in at 16.76GB, and requires 35.63GB of free hard drive space to unzip for installation.

Genshin Impact 2.7 features new Genshin Impact character Yelan as part of its phase one banners, as well as a rerun of a Xiao banner. Phase two is also set to feature another new character, Kuki Shinobu, alongside an Arataki Itto rerun banner.

Razer Enki Pro review – a spectacular, spine-pleasing gaming chair

The Razer Enki Pro gaming chair is undeniably a premium perch, but after using it as my daily driver, my spine says it's worth splashing out on. Admittedly, I'm usually the kind of misguided soul that'd repurpose a random box for my gaming PC setup. However, thanks to Razer's swish seat successor, it's now abundantly clear that sitting on something that respects your posture makes a difference.

Naturally, if you're used to sitting on the best gaming chairs, you'll know what the Razer Enki Pro is aiming for. Succeeding the company's original model, the chair is designed to caress your caboose and provide ergonomic support for gaming desk dwellers. Sure, you could say this is what regular old office seats also set out to achieve, but the difference here is that the Enki Pro makes true on its promise.

If you're used to cheap and cheerful chairs, upgrading to the Razer Enki Pro might feel like a luxurious life choice. On the other hand, gaming furniture enthusiasts are going to be well versed with this particular throne's agenda. That said, I reckon Razer's latest take on comfort, ergonomics, and build quality has the potential to win over even the fussiest of seat savants, and a few tweaks might help it reach perfection.

The best V Rising abilities and how to get them

If you want the best V Rising abilities, you're going to have to defeat some powerful bosses first, and there are some abilities worth hunting down first.

V Rising abilities are split into five affinities based on the type of damage they inflict: Blood, Unholy, Illusion, Chaos, and Frost. Blood abilities include lifesteal and healing spells, Unholy focuses on debuffs, Illusion uses magic for teleportation and trickery, Chaos abilities use Chaos Burn which deals damage over time, and Frost causes chill and freeze for crowd control. You can mix and match abilities between these groups to find what works best for you and your build.

There are also three distinct ability types: Basic, Travel, or Ultimate. Basic abilities cover ranged attacks and buffs, and you can equip two at a time. You also get one Travel ability for movement and extra damage, and one ultimate ability, which is usually an effective, deadly attack with a long cooldown. While you might want to go all in around a certain ability type, there are clear winners in each category.

     V Rising blood essence guide

V Rising blood essence is what makes your vampiric world go around. You use it to keep your castle from decaying, you can replenish your health from it, and it's an essential resource for crafting new gear and buildings. However, it's not always clear in the early access vampire game how to efficiently get hold of it and what you should be doing with it once you've built up a vast blood bank.

For starters, you can't get V Rising blood essence from every enemy type in the game - it might surprise you to learn that those undead skeletons are pretty dry. When you do find enemy types whose veins are coursing with crimson, you gain different traits by slurping the sanguine of different enemy types. Eventually - when you get beyond the first few hours of V Rising - you'll come across craftables and new buildings that require 'greater blood essence', which is even harder to get hold of.

To help you unclot the whole thing, we've prepared a quick guide to V Rising blood essence, showing you how to get it, what it's used for, and how to get the rarer 'greater blood essence' variant.

One Minecraft fan is making their own Dark Souls-inspired adventure

Minecraft is basically whatever you want it to be. While that's a red flag coming from a person, it's actually a very good thing when considering that it's one of the most important sandbox games ever made. Minecraft inspires people to do what they want, whether that's using it to run a Dungeons & Dragons game or recreating a beloved Destiny 2 raid.

That's probably why this fan has decided to build an entire Dark Souls map in Minecraft. They're not building a replica though; DanTay19 is actually just using the series as inspiration for their own build. You can take a look at the final area thanks to a post they made on Reddit, or you can check out the full trailer on their YouTube channel.

According to the video's description, they've been working on the map for over five years and it's all been built by them. The video shows off a lot more than the Reddit post. There are boss fights, a lot of variety in the biomes, and some really fun enemy placement, like the ghast that serves as a turret of sorts in a castle area and the magma slimes running riot over a blood-red area.

Ex Minecraft modder hired to work on Terraria mod tools

A prominent former Minecraft modder has landed a dream job: helping modders make more mods. The twist is, it's for a different sandbox game. It's no worry, however: modder Chicken Bones is now working officially as part of the Terraria development team, and he's got plenty of history with Terraria modding to draw from, too.

Chicken Bones created popular Minecraft mods like Ender Storage and Translocators, as well as Not Enough Items - which is on our very own list of the best Minecraft mods. He's also been building Terraria mods since 2015, when he switched over from Minecraft modding.

In the latest Terraria State of the Game post, Re-Logic's head of business strategy Ted 'Loki' Murphy offers Chicken Bones a warm welcome, and explains a bit of what he'll be doing on the Terraria team. "He has already been working hard alongside our core team, with a current focus aimed primarily on the development of tModLoader and tModPorter," Murphy writes. These tools allow players to use and port mods into Terraria, somewhat similar to the Script Extender mods for Skyrim and Fallout 4.

Celebrate the Obi-Wan Kenobi show with a Darth Vader gaming chair

Obi-Wan Kenobi is now streaming on Disney Plus, and another supermassive entry to the pop culture windmill can only mean one thing: a celebratory special edition Star Wars gaming chair. It's the latest in the Noblechairs Hero licensed line-up of thrones, and looks fit for Darth Vader himself.

Inspired by Anakin's penchant for black during his Sith years, the Darth Vader gaming chair is much more subtle than some of the special editions we've seen over the years. It features a red and blue-clad control panel and vertical stripes on the front to mimic his uniform, and both the Star Wars logo and the Dark Lord's iconic large noggin stitched on the back.

Unfortunately, plonking your bum down on the PU leather isn't going to grant you Force powers, but the comfort of a Noblechairs Hero can improve your posture. It has all the same features as other models in the range, including 4D armrests, adjustable height, and it can both rock and recline.

How to get a V Rising horse and craft canteens for it

Looking for a V Rising horse to call your own? This new open-world vampire survival game is already tearing up the Steam charts, but it can take a while to get around its vast wilderness, especially before you unlock all of the fast-travel options.

That's where a V Rising horse comes in handy. If you're in a V Rising server with other players who have been playing the game longer, you may have already seen them galloping around and looking smug, while you trudge through the forest on foot trying to avoid the sunlight. Horses are the only V Rising mounts available in the game right now, but you generally won't find them in the Farbane Woods area, which is where everyone starts in this RPG game. But it's worth trekking further afield before you start building a castle in V Rising, because horses are surprisingly easy to get hold of.

To help you achieve your equestrian dreams, we've rounded up some key tips on where to find a horse, how to mount it, and crucially, how to keep it alive.

The best Minecraft shaders in 2022

What are the best Minecraft shaders? More importantly what are Minecraft shaders? The popular crafting game has a lot of things in its favour: infinite replayability, massively varied gameplay, and a constantly changing and improving online game. Where Minecraft draws criticism compared to other modern games is its graphics. Fortunately, as with everything in Minecraft, the graphical fidelity can be tweaked to incredible effect with the help of Minecraft shaders.

From photorealistic lighting to uncanny motion blur, shaders are capable of bringing your Minecraft experience to life. Every Minecraft shader has its own unique qualities, whether that's injecting some serious style or providing a boost to Minecraft's base visuals without too much lag. So, in order to set you on your way to crystal-clear vistas we've put together a collection of the best Minecraft shaders out there.

Getting a Minecraft shader or shader pack up and running is a simple enough process. Before you get started trying to install a shader pack though, you'll want to download and install either Forge or Optifine. Bear in mind that these aren't always kept up to date, so your options are limited if you want to run shaders on the latest version of Minecraft Java. Likewise, you need to make sure whichever shaders you're downloading are for the same version of Minecraft Java you're running.

V Rising servants – type, factions, and gear

If you're just starting out in this vampire game then you've probably seen the option to fill your base with V Rising servants coffins when interacting with your castle heart. Unfortunately, you'll have to make a serious amount of progress through the main questline in order to craft them, and then get even further to fill your coffins with enthralled humans. The good news is that despite the process being a bit long-winded, it's definitely worth it as you can build an army of nine V Rising servants to head out into the world and plunder on your behalf.

Better still, no two V Rising servants are likely to be the same, so even when you've got some mindless minions under your spell, there's plenty more work to be done if you want to make them into a formidable fighting force.

To help you get started on your path to V Rising server domination, we've assembled everything you need to know about recruiting V Rising servants, as well as some information on the different types of servants and how to improve them.

V Rising whetstone recipe, item location, and crafting guide

The humble V Rising whetstone is one of the most valuable resources you need to find for crafting in the game. You need whetstone to build some of the key facilities in your base, such as a grinder to cut stone into bricks. However, it's not an item you can get easily in this vampire-themed crafting game.

You have two options if you want to find V Rising whetstone. You can find it out in the world by looting specific enemies or you can unlock the ability to craft it from the comfort of your very own V Rising castle. The latter is far less stressful and time-consuming, but you have to hunt down one of the many bosses and kill them before you can craft these valuable items.

Of course, this is all on top of maintaining your castle's V Rising blood essence levels, which you need to keep topped up to keep your machines whirring away and your base from decaying. There's a lot to keep track of in the RPG game, so to help you out, here's where you can find whetstone in V Rising and everything you need to do to unlock the ability to craft whetstone from raw materials.

V Rising servers, server settings, and dedicated servers

Want to know more about V Rising servers? While the developers have finally enabled an early form of offline mode, the majority of the vampire games' vast playerbase are likely going to be playing on a server. There are many different ways to play the hit new survival game, so it's important to understand what your options are.

There are many different shapes and forms of V Rising servers - developer Stunlock Games has partnered with a third party company called GPORTAL to provide official servers, and you can also rent private servers through them as well. If you're setting up your own server, either for solo use or for you and your friends, there are over 60 different server settings you can tinker with, so it's handy to understand what they all do before you set your game up.

V Rising servers typically hold around 40 people, although we've seen some private servers hold more. The size of clans on these servers is typically capped at four, although this is also a setting you can change for private servers. There's plenty more to go over as well, so read on to find out everything you need to know about servers and multiplayer in V Rising.

Steam Deck update brings new features and fan noise fixes

A new Steam Deck update has arrived from Valve, bringing SteamOS up to version 3.2 and introducing several new features to the handheld gaming PC. One addition that's generating fanfare is a new fix for the device's noisy fans.

This Steam Deck update introduces a new fan curve, which Valve says should "improve the experience in low usage scenarios," while also "adjusting how the fan responds to different scenarios and temperatures." However, anyone wanting to prioritise cooling performance over noise levels can select the old fan profile via a toggle in the system settings.

Another notable feature contained within this Steam Deck update is the ability to change in-game screen refresh rate within a 40-60Hz range, on a per-game basis. Valve says that it should help users find "that perfect balance between frame rate, game quality, and battery life," with the manufacturer recommending 40Hz as a "sweet spot for responsiveness, consistency, and smoothness."

Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds system requirements for PC

The latest in Level-5's RPG series is finally here, but the publisher hasn't fully outlined the Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds system requirements. Much like Genshin Impact, though, its availability on Android and iOS smartphones means the barrier to entry isn't too steep in order to play this Ghibli-like fantasy game on your gaming PC.

The only thing developer Netmarble lists as a part of the Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds system requirements is keeping at least 10GB of storage space free for the game. It doesn't even need the speeds of the best SSD, as a regular old hard drive will run the game just fine - still, it doesn't hurt to cut load times down to the bare minimum.

Since Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds PC is still in beta, there are some caveats. Firstly, it's only available on Windows, so it won't work on your Steam Deck unless you've installed Microsoft's operating system over the default Linux software. It's also not available on your usual platforms like Steam, Epic Games Store, or GOG, instead relying on Netmarble's own launcher.

My Time at Sandrock romance options

Looking for all the My Time at Sandrock romance options? The latest open-world game from Pathea Games is a spiritual sequel to the popular My Time at Portia, and it's already proving popular. Like other life games, My Time at Sandrock is all about restoring the community of the titular town to its former glory, and there's a varied cast of characters that you can interact with and form relationships along the way. Better yet, plenty of them are marriage candidates.

Because what's a game like Stardew Valley without some smooching? The My Time at Sandrock romance options are already quite varied, although as it has only just launched into Steam Early Access, not all of the NPCs and romance options have been set up yet. As noted on the game's official wiki, "certain characters are romanceable and are depicted with heart icons on their respective social profile," but this mechanic hasn't been implemented for everyone yet, even if they are already confirmed as a romance option.

At the time of writing, there are 17 confirmed NPCs who can be 'romanced', with marriage as the eventual outcome. There are ten bachelors and seven bachelorettes, however the player character's gender doesn't factor into potential relationships. Regardless of whether the player is male or female, all 17 romance candidates are eligible.

Best LMG Warzone Pacific: the best LMGs in Season 3 Reloaded

Looking for the best LMG in Warzone Pacific? Warzone LMGs are all too often overlooked when it comes to the best Warzone Pacific loadouts. It's not hard to see why, either. In general, they take just as long to down enemies as one of the best assault rifles in Warzone, and they have similar rates of fire and ranged effectiveness, too. However, unlike the game's most popular weapons, LMGs are very heavy and come with some of the worst aim down sight speeds, mobility, and 'gun ready' times in the game.

Those stats can make clearing out buildings, re-armouring, and switching weapons very difficult, and we've died countless times simply because we were stuck in the 'gun ready' animation. Thankfully, some of these issues can be fixed with the right attachments, making the best Warzone LMGs surprisingly competitive in the right scenario.

Since the time to kill speed changes in previous Warzone updates, LMGs have fallen out of favour compared to other guns. These weapons can still be viable in the right loadouts, so you should definitely give one of these monstrous weapons a try.

Valve responds to Team Fortress 2 fans' #SaveTF2 campaign

Good news for Team Fortress 2 fans, especially those participating in the recent #SaveTF2 campaign, a 'peaceful protest' aimed at reminding Valve that their FPS game is still loved and enjoyed by many players in spite of TF2's long standing bot woes. Valve has now officially acknowledged the problem - or, at least, felt moved enough to dig the password for the official TF2 twitter account out of a drawer and post for the first time in almost two years.

"TF2 community, we hear you! We love this game and know you do, too. We see how large this issue has become and are working to improve things." Those are the words posted to the Team Fortress Twitter account - a small gesture of recognition, perhaps, but one that will come as very welcome to some fans who feel Valve has been too silent on the free-to-play game's recent troubles.

By far the game's most complained-about issue is bots, with a plague of aimbots affecting the game since the leak of TF2's source code in 2020. However, leading community figures also say they feel that a game that still regularly hits 75,000 concurrent players (currently sitting at number seven on the steam player charts at the time of writing) deserves regular updates that have been largely absent over the last few years.

Friends and loved ones will agree, I have big "background character" energy. If I lived in the Star Wars universe, I wouldn't be a Jedi or a Sith inquisitor. I wouldn't even be one of those rebels who wear the long funny bike helmets. There would be no "Liam: A Star Wars Story" premiering on Disney+. Instead, I'd be the guy who changes the bedding at a grungy BnB on Tatooine. I would spend my days just sort of vibing on the fringes of all the excitement, blissfully unaware of the very important adventures occurring in a galaxy very-very-close-actually.

Maybe this is why Hardspace: Shipbreaker appeals to me so much. As a cutter, a nameless employee of the LYNX Corporation, you're about as important to this particular vision of the future as the lad who polishes the floors on the Death Star. You are a nobody. But Shipbreaker relishes in how much that still makes you somebody.

I've been keeping a curious eye on AMD's Software Preview Driver for May 2022; GPU drivers often promise "optimisations" that are rarely felt in practice, but this one genuinely sounded like a performance enhancing drug for Radeon graphics cards. In a community post, AMD asserted this particular Preview Driver could provide double-digit percentage gains in games running DirectX 11; claims that were backed up by early independent testing, like the creator of benchmarking tool CapFrameX getting an extra 24% out of Crysis Remastered.

This week, AMD Software Adrenaline Edition 22.5.2 released, making that new Radeon driver available to anyone who didn't fancy switching to preview builds. Armed with an RX 6500 XT (a low-end card that desperately needs a performance kick), I gave the new software a whirl – and found that, for all those big numbers, Radeon owners should probably lower their expectations.

The word that comes to mind is "slick". In a genre defined by busy screens and showy light spectacles, Drainus does well to distinguish itself with such excellent animation. The enemies, and particularly the way they spill from levels like the battleship one, demonstrate some of the best sprite work I've seen for ages.

It's more than just stylish, too. As I've mentioned before, I'm bad enough at scrolling shooters, and outright averse to bullet hell, to make me less than an authority on which are the best. But Drainus held my attention for long enough that you should definitely give it a chance.

I'm not going to do a pun about the name. I'm not. I'm definitely not.

A while back I finished Yakuza: Like A Dragon and felt a little bit lost. You know the feeling, right? When you snap shut a piece of fiction you've been reading for days, or months even, it can be difficult severing those relationships you've built with its characters. Unless there's a direct sequel, you must pull your pants up and shelve those emotions and move on.

Not that I struggle with letting go of characters and stories particularly, but my brain makes an exception for the Yakuza games. More specifically, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio's games. I've reached a point where I'm ordering Lost Judgment with no intention of playing it for months - maybe even a year? It's all a ploy to hang onto RGG's characters and worlds for as long as I can; a sort of buffer to keep the unease at bay. Having nowhere to turn to next isn't an option.

GameStop PowerUp Rewards Pro Members Can Buy PS5 Bundles in Stores

With the COVID-19 pandemic and console shortages, GameStop tended to limit its PS5 sales to online bundles. However, people will have a chance to get one from a physical store this weekend. On May 28, 2022, retail stores in the continental United States will offer them. However, in order to get one, someone will need to be a PowerUp Rewards Pro Member. As a reminder, that cost $14.99 per year.

GameStop didn't announce what sorts of PS5 bundles it will offer. However, in the past they tend to have certain commonalities. The bundles involving the standard version tend to include at least two games. They might also include things like an additional DualSense controller, PlayStation Network cards, PlayStation Plus memberships, and headsets. For example, in April 2022 the bundles included Gran Turismo 7 and Horizon Forbidden West. Those tended to be between $725 to $750.

The GameStop digital PS5 bundles in the past wouldn't come with any games. Instead, they would feature things like PlayStation Plus memberships, PlayStation Network gift cards, DualSense controllers, and peripherals. As the digital version of the console is cheaper, those bundles usually cost between $625 and $650.

GameStop will have the PlayStation 5 in its retail stores on May 28, 2022. People need an active PowerUp Rewards Pro membership to buy one.

June 2022 State of Play Will Include PS5, PSVR 2 Games

Sony announced its June 2022 State of Play showcase. On June 2, 2022, people will be able to tune in at 3 p.m. PT/6 p.m. ET. (That's 12 a.m. CET on June 3, 2022.) Both PS5 games and the first PSVR 2 games will show up at the presentation. It will run for around 30 minutes on Twitch and YouTube.

New FFVII announcements are also expected to appear imminently.

It has the same ivory grip and Thai engravings as the gun in the show.

Guilty Gear Strive Necessary Discrepancy is also available on Steam, where Arc System Works sells each of the two discs separately. The CD album containing the song's lyrics has also appeared in more physical stores.

Arc System Works first revealed the soundtrack named after Ramlethal Valentine's theme song in March 2022 in Japan. The company announced that the soundtrack would include the theme songs of all Season 1 DLC characters. It has since updated the tracklist to include "Like a Weed, Naturally, as a Matter of Course," the theme song of Testament. The season's final character showed up later than the soundtrack announcement. The revised tracklist also confirmed that "Rock and Roll, Rock Hard Maniac" will become the theme song for the upcoming Season 2.

The public sales of the soundtrack were part of the numerous announcement that Arc System Works made at the Guilty Gear Strive first-anniversary live stream. Although it did not reveal any new DLC characters, the company planned to release a major balance update for the fighting game in June 2022.

The Guilty Gear Strive Necessary Discrepancy original soundtrack is available worldwide on physical CDs and digital platforms, including Spotify and Steam. It contains songs from the Guilty Gear Strive fighting game, available on the PS5, PS4, PC, and arcades.

The Pokemon Company initially launched the DP Sound Library in Japan on December 24, 2021. It then brought access to the West on February 2, 2022. The website lets people download Pokemon Diamond and Pearl's background music and sound effects. A total of 149 tracks are available in the library. The company also compiled the whole soundtrack into a single video on YouTube.

After the site's shutdown, formal downloads of the background music and sound effects will no longer be available. SD Gundam Eternal

The Gundam Game Fest event ended with another new game announcement, this time covering mobile platforms. Like SD Gundam Battle Alliance, SD Gundam G Generation Eternal stars the super-deformed iterations of the iconic mobile suits. Unlike Battle Alliance, Eternal is a tactical RPG. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

Check out a trailer for the game below.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YhTfoc-gq9s

SD Gundam G Generation Eternal aims to give players on mobile platforms the chance to relive Gundam stories from all across the franchise. These include anime series, movies, novels, manga, and even other games. They'll also be able to participate in iconic Gundam battles from a strategic perspective, building their teams and units and engaging the enemy in combat. From the brief snippets of gameplay available, the game uses a top-down perspective but uses 3D models (or pre-rendered CG) for special attacks. Units from G Gundam, Zeta Gundam, Turn A Gundam, The Blue Destiny, Crossbone Gundam, and Advance of Zeta were seen, among others. The narrative segments of the game also appear to incorporate imagery and scenes from the various animated works in the franchise. The battles will have an auto mode for convenient play. Screenshots of the game indicate that new units can be unlocked through a research and development system. Players can develop mobile suits into more advanced or related versions of the same suit based on their series. For example, an 0 Gundam can be developed into a Gundam Astrea, which can unlock the Gundam Exia, which in turn can be developed to unlock other Celestial Being mobile suits (like Dynames and Virtue).

According to the official website, SD Gundam G Generation Eternal will be a free-to-play title supported by microtransactions. What form those microtransactions will take is unclear. Other Gundam mobile games, such as Gundam Breaker Mobile (a.k.a. Gundam Battle: Gunpla Warfare) and Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage, use a gacha system to allow players to acquire new characters and resources.

SD Gundam G Generation Eternal is in development. It doesn't have a release window set but will have a closed beta test before release.

SD Gundam Battle Alliance

The next major Gundam game will take place in Bandai Namco's SD Gundam spinoff line. SD Gundam Battle Alliance is an action RPG that spans the different histories of the Gundam universe. It will release on multiple platforms on August 25, 2022.

Check out the SD Gundam Battle Alliance trailer below.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Z_96JoDqLY

The trailer establishes the setting of SD Gundam Battle Alliance as the "G: Universe," a place under threat by the "Break" phenomenon. The Breaks are disruptions in the timeline that cause the proper histories of various Mobile Suit Gundam stories to mix and blend. In one example, the iconic duel between Gouf pilot Ramba Ral and original Gundam pilot Amuro Ray is turned into one against Gundam Barbatos, the main mobile suit of Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans. The Breaks are caused by the action of Gundam Latreia, a new original mecha design by Kuramochi Kyoryu, an illustrator credited with mecha and character designs for various franchises including Kamen Rider KabutoMuv-Luv Alternative, and Gundam Walpurgis.

As an action RPG, SD Gundam Battle Alliance supports real-time combat against enemies, using various mobile suits drawn from across the Gundam multiverse. The mecha are represented in SD Gundam's distinct super-deformed style, with large heads and short limbs. New playable characters can be unlocked through a research and development system. Each playable mobile suit has a unique set of weapons and special moves. Mobile suits can be improved with items. A large variety of Gundam series are represented in the playable roster, with mobile suits from series like Gundam, Zeta Gundam, Gundam Unicorn, Gundam Wing, Gundam Thunderbolt, Iron-Blooded Orphans, Gundam 00, Gundam X, Gundam SEED, Victory Gundam, and more. Missions can be tackled in groups of up to three mobile suits, controlled by players or the AI.

SD Gundam Battle Alliance will also come with pre-order bonuses and a season pass covering planned DLC releases. Pre-order bonuses include early access to the original Gundam, original characters from the SD Gundam franchise like Knight Gundam, Musha Gundam, and the characters from SD Gundam World Sangoku Soketsuden. The DLC season pass covers the release of a total of 3 Unit & Scenario packs, which will add 6 scenario missions and 7 playable units, as well as a bonus pack of progression resources.

SD Gundam Battle Alliance releases on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on August 25, 2022. Though the game was also announced for Nintendo Switch in February, the official site does not contain pre-order links for the Switch version as of press time.

The event will begin on June 3 and last until June 20, 2022. This gives players roughly two weeks to obtain the "Show Left" and "Show Right" emotes from the event.

Like previous Make It Rain campaigns, MGP rewards from the Gold Saucer will be increased by 50% during the event period. Additionally, certain items that were available to obtain from previous iterations of the event will be available to purchase from the event vendor. However, the promotional website did not reveal which items would be returning through the event.

Square Enix has shared a screenshot of the two new emotes that will appear in the FFXIV Make it Rain 2022 Gold Saucer event. Two player characters can be seen on their knees, proudly displaying the Cactuar between them. You can take a look at the emotes below.

In order to participate in the event, players will need to have completed "The Gridanian Envoy," "Th Ul'dahn Envoy," or "The Lominsan Envoy." Additionally, they must be at least level 15. This is due to the in-game nature of unlocking access to the Gold Saucer.

Final Fantasy XIV is available for PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.

dragon quest treasures trailer

Square Enix released a new teaser trailer for Dragon Quest Treasures. Released as part of the series' 36th anniversary, the trailer showcases a few new characters, locations, and story details. Additionally, more information about the game will release sometime in June 2022.

Dragon Quest Treasures is a spin-off title featuring a younger Erik and his little sister Mia, both of whom appeared in Dragon Quest XI. Much like Torneko: The Last Hope, it is a spin-off story where the two characters search for a lost treasure. The game first appeared exactly one year ago, during the Dragon Quest 35th-anniversary announcements.

Notably, the trailer appears both in English and Japanese. This means that fans will get to hear what Erik and Mia sound with English voices. It also likely indicates a western release in the future. Furthermore, the trailer also reveals that the game's official Japanese title will roughly translate to Dragon Quest Treasures: Blue Eyes and the Firmament's Compass. While specific story details are still scarce, the trailer does show some sort of flying steam train.

As part of the series' anniversary celebration, Square Enix also released Dragon Quest Builders for iOS and Android devices. Series creator Yuji Horii also thanked fans for their support in a video message and stated that the developers were "working hard" on the series' next mainline title, Dragon Quest XII.

Dragon Quest Treasures is in development. There is no confirmed release date or platform. More information about the game will appear sometime in June 2022.

Kao The Kangaroo Review 1There are certain platformer mascots I'd like to see make a comeback. Suffice to say, Kao the Kangaroo was not one of them. The original games were average at best. But when the re-release of the sequel hit Steam, the reaction was positive enough that series developer Tate Multimedia decided to put the roo back in the ring with another installment. While I wasn't expecting much, Kao the Kangaroo is a pretty enjoyable throwback to the early '00s. It looks good, plays well enough, and has solid level design throughout, even if its short length and obvious lack of polish hurt the affair somewhat. Kao the Kangaroo acts as a reboot for the series. Here, Kao's father Koby and sister Kaia have gone missing. Kao is completely in the dark as to where they are (neither of them told anybody where they were going for some moronic reason) until he's led to a treasure chest containing his father's boxing gloves. The gloves are possessed by eternal energy that d...
