In the mainline Pokémon games, there's always a professor, and they're always a mentor. It's practically inviolable at this point. But some fans think the (hot) professors in this year's Pokémon Scarlet and Violet might actually be the villains. Yes, this is just a theory, but it's not as far-fetched as you'd think.

Dragon Age 4's full title has been revealed

BioWare has revealed the title of Dragon Age 4. The upcoming RPG game is officially titled Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, a reference to both the game's primary antagonist and the end of Dragon Age: Inquisition, the last entry in the venerable series.

So who is this 'Dread Wolf'? "Some say he might be an ancient elven god, but some say not. Others say a betrayer of his people…or a savior who now seeks to rescue them at the cost of your world," BioWare says in a post announcing the game's title. "His motives are inscrutable and his methods sometimes questionable, earning him a reputation as something of a trickster deity - a player of dark and dangerous games."

BioWare says you won't have to worry about knowing everything about the Dragon Age story so far to feel at home in Dreadwolf, but series veterans will no doubt be excited by the possibilities hinted at by this focus on Solas. "If you're new to Dragon Age, you have no need to worry about not having met our antagonist just yet," BioWare says reassuringly.

New The Sims 4 expansion lets you become a werewolf

It might be a while until Halloween, but a new The Sims 4 expansion lets players live out all their full moon fantasies and become fully fledged werewolves. The life game's new game pack, appropriately titled 'Werewolves,' lets users create their own werewolf sims and immerse themselves in the lycanthropic lifestyle in the popular building game.

The Werewolves game pack launches on June 16, and players can choose whether they want to embrace the animalistic lifestyle and transform into a toothy troublemaker or try to avoid the temptations. The pack also includes a new map, Moonwood Mill, for your sims to live, work, and socialise in. This heavily forested rural area feels like the perfect location for your lycanthrope sims to frolic and flourish in all their furry fantasies.

Much like becoming a vampire in The Sims 4, being a werewolf comes with a variety of perils that your sims must keep track of. Of course, you'll have to keep a very close watch on when the full moon is due! If you choose to embrace it, however, you can prowl around in packs and have your run of town. On the other hand, sims who aren't looking to join the lycanthropic legions will have to be very cautious of who they're hanging out with when night falls.

Wolfenstein: The New Order is the next Epic Store free game

Machine Games' Wolfenstein: The New Order can be yours for the low price of free, as the 2014 FPS game is the Epic Store free game from June 2-9. The pulpy shooter puts players in the shoes of the all-American hero William 'BJ' Blazkowicz as he and his friends take on the Nazis in an alternate history story, which takes place in a world where the bad guys won World War II.

The fast-paced shooter combines stealth sequences with frantic first-person blasting that allows you to dual wield all manner of weaponry against the futuristic Third Reich forces. You can adopt a sneaky approach, attempting to assassinate enemy commanders quietly to remove the threat of reinforcements, or you can run in guns ablaze and take it to the Nazis head-on.

The game received widespread praise for its engaging story and varied action. We named it one of the best games of 2014, with our reviewer calling it "a masterpiece of its genre" and "an effortlessly melancholy adventure that doesn't drown in its own bombast." If that isn't enough to sell you on the game, now you can try it out for yourself without plonking down any hard cash.

Battlefield 2042 battle pass revealed, devs discuss pay-to-win

Beleaguered FPS game Battlefield 2042 is finally ready to enter its first season, with DICE detailing the Battlefield 2042 season 1 battle pass and Battlefield currency system. The developer is quick to state that, "it's important to us to keep the fight fair for everyone," saying that spending real-world money "won't give you any advantages on the battlefield" in the multiplayer game. However, some players are already upset with the ability to directly level up the pass with real money.

The Battlefield 2042 season 1 battle pass has a free tier and a premium tier, with the latter requiring the purchase of a premium battle pass or the year one pass that was provided to owners of the game's gold and ultimate editions. There are 100 tiers, which are reached by earning XP while playing the game. 30 rewards are included in the free tiers, while the premium pass features something for each of the 100 tiers. A note says that content missed in a season can still be unlocked "at a later stage," although there is no indication given as to when that might be.

While DICE emphasises that the premium tier is limited to cosmetics and items with no gameplay benefit, players on the game's subreddit have already pointed out that, because users can spend the premium currency to skip through the tiers without playing, there is an 'indirect pay-to-win' element. Players can spend 'Battlefield currency,' bought with real money or earned from the battle pass, to more rapidly reach the free tiers which award gameplay elements such as weapons and specialists.

     Blood Bowl 3 system requirements

Before you hop into the latest beta for the upcoming Warhammer game, you need to know whether your rig can actually run the Blood Bowl 3 system requirements. The developers at Cyanide Studio understandably ask for quite a bit more than its seven-year-old predecessor, but the good news is that the specs are so low that Blood Bowl 3 should run on almost any gaming PC or laptop built within the past decade.

There's still no sign of the Blood Bowl 3 release date after real-world issues caused publisher Nacon to delay the game until "later in 2022," which means there could be a steeper asking price by the time the full launch rolls around. The closed beta on PC is currently live until June 12, however, and you only need 4GB of gaming RAM regardless of whether you're aiming for the bare minimum system requirements or the recommended.

As usual, it's not clear what frame rate and resolution these target, but it won't be difficult to crank things up and boost fps with most modern systems. A 1GB graphics card lets you boot, and 4GB will let you play out the new rules and break new limbs in spectacular fashion.

     Second Warzone 2 map

A second Warzone 2 map is "well into development," according to sources speaking with reliable industry insider Tom Henderson. The Call of Duty Warzone 2 release date is still a way off, but some details are already coming out. Playtesters for the battle royale game's sequel told Henderson that the map was visible in the menus but unavailable to play, as it is currently in the early stages of development.

Henderson says (via VGC) that details on the map are light, but that suggestions are that it resembles the first Warzone's Rebirth Island in size. He says a source reported that Warzone 2's release was aiming for "a couple of months after MW2" - the Modern Warfare 2 release date is in October, meaning that we could be seeing Warzone 2 as soon as December 2022 or early 2023.

Henderson speculates that following the cadence of the current Call of Duty Warzone content cycle, he would expect the FPS game's second map to launch around a year after the game's initial launch as part of a 'year two' content rotation.

Dragon Age 4 is Dragon Age Dreadwolf

EA and BioWare offered an update on Dragon Age 4, which is officially known as Dragon Age: Dreadwolf. It also offered a first peek at the logo. The blog post announcing the title confirmed a returning character would appear as an antagonist. Finally, the announcement closed by saying additional details will come up at the end of 2022.

At The Game Awards 2018, a Dread Wolf rises teaser appeared. It offered a hint that a certain person would return. In Executive Producer Mark Darrah offered hints work was being done on Dragon Age 4 back in 2020. An additional update came at Gamescom 2020. However, it wasn't until The Game Awards 2020 that a better look at the game showed up.

Editor's Note: There will be Dragon Age Dread Wolf spoilers below that suggest elements that will appear in Dragon Age: Dreadwolf.

In Dragon Age, there is an elven god called the Dread Wolf Fen'Harel. In Dragon Age: Inquisition, people learn that one of players' party members, Solas, is that person. The game ends with a fateful encounter between Solas and another important, recurring character from past installments.

Dragon Age: Dreadwolf is in development for unspecified platforms. More news will come in 2022.

Key's Loopers Visual Novel Debuts on Switch eShop Worldwide

People won't need to head to a foreign Nintendo Switch eShop to get Key's visual novel Loopers. Now that the shop update is live, it is available both inside and outside Japan. People could pick it up, with English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese localizations, immediately. It costs $24.99.

As the name suggests, Loopers is Key's visual novel about a Groundhog Day-like time loop. Written by 07th Expansion's Ryukishi07, who is behind the When They Cry series, it features a group of geohunting individuals who get stuck in a Temporal Spiral. Once inside, all the people reliving August 1st are Loopers attempting to break the cycle. As you go through it, you'll watch and see if people can solve the mystery and break free.

This is one of Key's kinetic visual novels. This means you don't make any choices as you go through it. You just read along with the story. Similar games from the company include Harmonia and Planetarian. (The latter is also available on the Switch worldwide.)

For a better idea of what to expect from the game and its art, here's an official Loopers Switch opening movie. It shows off some of the main characters and its theme song.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Arts

Nintendo is closing in on the late-July release date of Xenoblade Chronicles 3, but there's more to be done before the game launches. For example, teaching potential players how to use the Arts system. A new edition of Nintendo's ongoing "Xenoblade 3 Notes" blog series explains Arts to the laymen in the audience.

As in previous entries in the series, Arts are basically the techniques and special attacks used by characters in battle. Typically characters will automatically attack the targeted enemy, but Arts forms the core of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 combat. They're assigned to the face buttons by default for easy access, though using an Arts technique will trigger a cooldown time that varies depending on the technique's power and complexity.

In Xenoblade Chronicles 3, a character's Arts are determined in part by their class. Each class specializes in a different combat style, and has 5 Arts to choose from. However, players can only slot 3 Arts at a time, making it important to choose the best tools for the enemy at hand. Each character, even within the role archetypes of Attacker, Defender, and Healer, has their own class assigned at first. Even distinctions between the character origins, such as a class being from Agnos or Keeves, can affect how their class operates. Characters can also change classes to master certain Arts and take them over to different classes. Using these cross-class Arts can result in combo effects from Arts Fusion.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BbOB6F7yPJk

Here are the initial classes for the playable cast:

  • Noa (Attacker/Swordfighter) - Has balanced abilities and is well-suited to fighting bosses and unique monsters
  • Sena (Attacker/Crusher) - Devastates foes with a heavy war hammer. Her powerful attacks can break through an enemy's defense, but she attracts attention easily and needs defending.
  • Mio (Defender/Gale Master) - Toys with enemies through high mobility, countering with her twin rings. She can also keep nearby allies from taking enemy attacks by buffing their evasion or deflecting strikes away.
  • Lanz (Defender/Heavy Guard) - Wielding massive shields and large weapons, Lanz specializes in taunting Arts and taking hits meant for squishier party members.
  • Eunie (Healer/Medic Gunner) - Eunie's Arts create safe spaces that buff allies and heal them so long as they remain in the area of effect. These can attract enemy attention, though.
  • Taion (Healer/Tactician) - Taion dazzles enemies and supports allies with stratagems. He can put enemies to sleep, preventing them from harming the party.

Noa's Swordfighter class specializes at flanking an enemy, so his Sword Strike and Thrust Edge Arts deal more damage when executed on an enemy's side or back, respectively.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0yI5_azeM7M

Meanwhile, Mio is a Gale Master, a Defender-type class. As a Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Defender, she has Arts that can draw in enemy attacks while keeping herself safe through her high mobility and evasive movements. Mio's Butterfly Edge forces enemies to target her , while the Air Fang does more damage to enemies targeting the user.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QHNFyOxVdIQ

Besides regular Arts, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 characters have special Talent Arts, which are charged up by performing actions suited to one's party role. For example, an Attacker will charge their Talent Arts by landing flanking attacks, while a Defender will charge up by blocking or dodging enemy strikes.

The Swordfighter's Talent Arts is the Exceed Buster, a powerful blow that does even more damage if the enemy is stunned.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7kTOWQ4DiTU

The Gale Master Talent Arts is the Gemini Strike, a strike that pulls in enemy targeting while boosting one's own evasion.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vAhXh3Th3As

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will release on July 29, 2022 on the Nintendo Switch.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R Johnny Joestar Trailer Includes Slow Dancer

Bandai Namco introduced Johnny Joestar in the new JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R. This is actually a situation in which you're seeing both him and another supporting character, though. This is because Johnny rides Slow Dancer, his horse, in-game. So someone using the character will see Johnny, Slow Dancer, and Johnny's Stand Tusk attacking.

Johnny is the star of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run and also appears in JoJolion. He's a jockey and paraplegic, which is why Slow Dancer features so prominently in the story and game. While this is a part of the series and features a Joestar and Stands, it isn't a part of the same storyline as entries like Stardust Crusaders, Golden Wind, and Stone Ocean.

This is the fourth character trailer so far. The first two looked at Jonathan Joestar and Jotaro Kujo. After that, DIO appeared.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R will come to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC on September 2, 2022. A PS4 and PS5 demo is coming too.

Granblue Fantasy Versus Update 2.80 Adds Rush, Backshift and Overdrive

Back in December 2021, Arc System Works said people would see new gameplay systems in Granblue Fantasy Versus in Summer 2022. Now, there's an exact date for the additions. Granblue Fantasy Versus update 2.80 will appear on June 3, 2022. When it does, it will add Overdrive, Tactical Move: Backshift, and Tactical Move: Rush to the game. All three new actions rely on the Skybound Art (SBA) gauge.

There's a video going over how each of these new battle actions work in Granblue Fantasy Versus. Folks can see the inputs and how they react with the help of Gran and Djeeta. First, Tactical Move: Rush shows up. It uses 50% of the SBA gauge and requires people to press L2 and the direction they are facing to dash forward. At the 52 second mark, the Tactical Move: Backshift shows up. It is a way to quickly dash backward. Like the Rush, it uses 50% of the SBA gauge. The inputs are similar too. You hold L2 and the direction away from the one you're facing.

Finally, Overdrive comes up at the 1:25 mark. This is a "mega buff" that is triggered by pressing L2 and R2 when the SBA gauge is full. You can do it once. When you do that, you'll be able to get increased attack power and your overhead attack will be faster. Your attacks will deal chip damage if blocked, but you won't take any chip damage. Simple command cooldown will be shortened to match technical commands. You'll also be able to immediately use your Skybound Art or Super Skybound Art.

Genshin Impact Story Trailer Discusses the Yakshas

The latest Genshin Impact story quests and The Chasm area hinted at details about Xiao and the yakshas. Now there's a video online offering a bit more backstory. Rather than focusing on one of the yakshas we know, it involves a member of the group remembering their identity and role.

Editor's Note: There will be some Genshin Impact story spoilers below if you haven't been keeping up with the Archon Quests, The Chasm, and Liyue's lore.

The video begins with one yaksha asking for a person named Menogias. That is one of the known members of the group who protected Liyue and fought for Morax's sake. Rather, there's a mage named Boyang who happened upon this person, who is eventually revealed to be Bosacius. The two came to The Chasm to fight together, and ended up sealed away. As the two talk, Bosacius and Boyang both begin to recall more about their past. Bosacius also eventually ends up also calling for a figure named Alatus. Once he does, he recalls all of the other four yaksha he considered his siblings.

As a reminder, you can get the only playable Genshin Impact yaksha again right now. Xiao's rerun banner appeared when 2.7 kicked off.

Genshin Impact is available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and mobile devices. It will also eventually come to the Nintendo Switch.

Shin Ultraman Ultimate Article figure by Megahouse

Megahouse will release Ultimate Article figures of Ultraman from the Shin Ultraman movie. The large figure will have swappable arms, along with battery-powered audio and LED eyes.

The figure will have an overall height of around 40 cm (approximately 15 3/4 inches). Most of the parts will be immovable and attached to the pedestal. However, the set will come with a pair of swappable arms. The owner will be able to choose between the regular fighting stance and the signature Spacium Beam attack.

Megahouse also published a new trailer highlighting the figure's audio and lighting features. The pedestal will have a switch to activate different modes. The first toggle to ON1 will mimic Ultraman's eyes lighting upon finishing the transformation. ON2 will play the sounds of the Spacium Beam attack and the flight afterward. The owner will have to personally install three AAA batteries into the pedestal for these features to work.

[tnm_video layout="mnmd-post-media"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKezz7n8HPQ[/tnm_video]

Megahouse will open pre-orders for the Shin Ultraman figure in Japanese stores on June 3, 2022. The pre-order period will last for roughly two months until late July 2022. The figure will have an MSRP of 30,800 yen (~$237).

The Shin Ultraman movie premiered in Japanese theaters on May 13, 2022. Its director is Hideaki Anno, who also worked on the Shin movie reboots of Evangelion, Godzilla, and Kamen Rider. The Ultimate Article figure of Ultraman from the movie will be available in October 2022.

Fullmetal alchemist last transmutation

The first film in the Fullmetal Alchemist: The Final Chapter duology, Scar the Avenger,  opened in Japan on May 20, 2022, but there's still one more movie to go. That film, Fullmetal Alchemist:  Final Chapter - The Last Transmutation is due in a matter of weeks. Ahead of its June 24, 2022 premiere, Warner Brothers showed off a full-size trailer for the film, which will round out the Fullmetal Alchemist live-action trilogy. [Thanks, ANN!]

Check out the preview below. Note that the trailer contents may be considered spoilers for both the Fullmetal Alchemist: Scar the Avenger film and the Fullmetal Alchemist series in general.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7L3D9qCRJ9E&

The Fullmetal Alchemist: The Last Transmutation trailer continues events from after Scar the Avenger, kicking off with a conversation between Hohenheim and Father. Shots also show Olivier Armstrong, her brother Alex, her subordinates Miles and Buccaneer, as well as major characters like Scar, Roy Mustang, Riza Hawkeye, Winry, and of course the Elric brothers. Xing characters like Ling Yao and Fu face off against King Bradley.

Teases of what seems to be the final confrontation of the storyline are also visible, indicating that Fullmetal Alchemist: The Last Transmutation probably won't be making any major diversions from the plot as told in the original manga. The first anime adaptation of Fullmetal Alchemist in 2003 famously diverged from the manga's story (it was still ongoing at the time) and concluded on its own terms through the 2005 film Fullmetal Alchemist: The Conquerer of Shamballa. The manga received a second anime adaptation, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, in 2009, which ran through 2010 and followed the "canon" storyline directly to its conclusion.

Fullmetal Alchemist: The Final Chapter - The Last Transmutation premieres in Japan on June 24, 2022. Its predecessor, Scar the Avenger, is in theaters now. An international release date has not yet been confirmed.

Laid Back Camp Mobile Gameplay

Developer Enish has shared more gameplay details about the upcoming Laid-Back Camp mobile game, including gacha elements, collectible camping gear, and more. Fans and prospective players can also see how each character will appear in the game. Furthermore, the game is now open for pre-registration for iOS and Android devices in Japan. [Thanks, Gamer!]

The Laid-Back Camp mobile game is a video game adaptation of the anime series featuring the same characters and setting. Announced back in February 2022, the mobile title rides the wave of the anime's second season, upcoming theatrical release, and console game. While details have been scarce, we now know what the game will entail.

There's a lot to unpack from the shared images, but there will essentially be an event-based story mode and a camping mode. The camping layout mode will allow players to customize and create their own camping sessions using a variety of camping gear. Players can also place characters from the anime at the camp. Doing so allows players to observe how each character interacts through the home screen.

Additionally, the Laid-Back Camp mobile game will have gacha elements. It's still unclear what exactly the gacha will allow users to get. However, an image of the game's menu screen does reference the Christmas outfits the characters wore in one episode of the anime. This may indicate that the banners will include outfits for characters. Furthermore, there appears to be a season pass system, as well as challenges to complete, player levels, crafting, and different currencies.

You can get a better look at the Laid-Back Camp mobile game in the screenshots below:

You can also check out gameplay footage of Nadeshiko and Rin enjoying a camping trip together in the video below:

The Laid-Back Camp mobile game is releasing for iOS and Android devices sometime in 2022. An international release has not been confirmed. The Laid-Back Camp anime is available to watch on Crunchyroll.

Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier Sephiroth

Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier players will be able to obtain a Final Fantasy VII Remake Sephiroth skin for a limited time. Players will have until August 31, 2022, to obtain Advanced Shinra Packs (Sephiroth). A new system has also been implemented that will convert duplicate skins into other rewards. For example, players that receive a duplicate will unlock alternate skins, voice emotes, and special effects.

Rewards for obtaining duplicate skins will be distributed through a "level" system. Upon obtaining another Sephiroth (FF7R) skin, players will level up and receive the reward on the next tier.

The tiers are as follows:

Level 1

  • Character Skin: Sephiroth (FF7R)

Level 2

  • Character Skin: Another Form

Level 3

  • V. Holo (Hologram emote with voice-over)

Level 4

  • Kill Effect: One-Winged Angel

Most of the rewards are consistent between the two Sephiroth skins. However, the voice lines obtained will be different. The Sephiroth (FF7R) ♂ will receive the "Let Us Defy Destiny...Together" voice line, whereas the Sephiroth (FF7R) ♀ skin will get the "What Will You Do With It?" voice line. The voice lines also include a hologram emote.

Other items that can be obtained in the Advanced Shinra Packs (Sephiroth) include the One-Winged Angel and One-Winged Angel Paint gun skin, a Feathered Eyepatch, and the Sephiroth (FF7R) Banner.

Other notable characters that are available to obtain as skins in Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier include Genesis and Yuffie. Players can also obtain skins inspired by Reno and Rude.

Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak Village Quests

Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak will not have Village Quests. Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak Director Yoshitake Suzuki expanded on this in an interview with Famitsu, stating that the expansion will only have Master Rank quests. He also elaborated on the reason for creating Follower Quests, which was to create a better single-player experience for those who prefer to engage in hunts without other players. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

Suzuki elaborates on the lack of Village Quests in Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak by pointing out the design for Elgado, the new player hub that will appear in the expansion. In their place, Master Rank quests will function similarly to Hub Quests. For these quests, players can engage in co-op or take on these hunts solo if they prefer. This is different from Village Quests, which could only be done alone.

Regarding Follower Quests, Suzuki states that while multiplayer is one of the most popular features in Monster Hunter, they wanted to accommodate those who are more used to single-player games.

In Monster Hunter, one of the biggest parts of the appeal is multiplayer. However, we do have players that mostly play single-player games, so we wanted to meet that need and created Rampage Quests in Monster Hunter Rise, which allowed characters from Kamura Village to help the player character. We thought that if players could take on hunts with unique characters, it would create a more enjoyable experience. For these reasons, we decided to create Follower Quests.

Monster Hunter Rise is available for the PC and Nintendo Switch. Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak will release for the PC and Nintendo Switch on June 30, 2022. A Digital Deluxe Edition is available to pre-order.

dragon quest x ashley version 6

Square Enix revealed the names and biographies of characters appearing in Version 6 of Dragon Quest X Online. Ashley, Leone, and Daphia are characters who went on an adventure several thousand years prior, with Ashley and Leone being twin brothers. They will appear in the new version of the game, which will come out in Fall 2022. [Thanks, ryokutya2089!]

Though the three are not completely new to the lore of Dragon Quest X, Version 6 will be when they make their physical appearances. Ashley (Yoshitsugu Matsuoka) is a hero who defeated the Great Demon King Goda along with his twin brother Leone (Nobuhiko Okamoto). Between the two, Leone is the calmer one. As for Daphia (Reina Ueda), she fought alongside the two in their final battle against Goda. While Ashley's and Leone's biographies are available on the Dragon Quest X website, Daphia's is absent.

Previous characters Matsuoka has voiced include Xiao from Genshin Impact and Kirito from Sword Art Online. As for Okamoto, he has played characters such as Accelerator from A Certain Magical Index and Bakugou in My Hero Academia. Finally, other roles Ueda has played are Kanao from Demon Slayer and Ganyu from Genshin Impact.

Dragon Quest X is an online MMORPG version of Dragon Quest. However, an offline version is in development. It originally had a release window of February 2022, but Square Enix delayed it until sometime in Summer 2022. This was due to how much content was in the game, as well as producer Shiraishi wanting the final version of Dragon Quest X Offline to be perfect.

Ashley, Leone, and Daphia will appear in Dragon Quest X Online Version 6, which will come out in Fall 2022. Dragon Quest X is available on Wii U, Windows PC, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.

Warhammer WarpforgeGames Workshop recently held their Warhammer Skulls livestream event. We got to see new looks at upcoming games in the Warhammer universe like Space Marine 2. One of the more interesting announcements at the event, however, was the reveal of a brand new digital card game set in the 40K universe titled Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge. Not a whole lot is known about the game right now, as it is currently set for release in 2023. However, we can parse out some information from screenshots and what the developers themselves have said. The developer for Warpforge is Everguild, who fans of the franchise may know as the developers behind Warhammer Horus Heresy: Legions. It appears that all the big name factions from the series will be represented as we see the Imperium, Chaos, Xenos, and Orks all showing up to battle.   The press release from Everguild confirms that there will be single player content for the game, as well as draft and constructed versus modes. That's standard for...

Steam Deck Dock delayed specs price release dateIt looks like Valve is falling victim to the trend of hardware delays we've been seeing for a while now. The official Steam Deck Docking Station has been delayed. This was announced yesterday when Valve posted an update about it on the Steam Deck events forum. As of now there isn't a set release date for the Docking Station. The cause of the delay is due to "parts shortages and COVID closures at our manufacturing facilities." This isn't too hard to believe, as the disruptive effects of the pandemic are still affecting many sectors of the hardware industry. Valve also clarified that this would have no impact on the production schedule and reservation windows for Steam Decks.   No docking for Steam Decks just yet Valve's goal was to release the Steam Deck dock by late spring. However, due to manufacturing issues, this is no longer happening. This might be disappointing news to Steam Deck users that want to hook up their devices to larger displays....
