Point of Contact Booking announced that voice actor Billy Kametz has died. The cause of death was colon cancer. He was 35 years old. Kametz was grateful to his fans' support when he first announced his diagnosis. Instead of sending flowers, his online obituary states that fans should consider contributing to the Colon Cancer Coalition under Kametz' name. Kametz was a voice actor, whose prominent roles include Ferdinand in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Josuke Higashikata in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable, and Galo Thymos in Promare. He entered the entertainment industry through his work as a cast member on a Disney cruise line. Then, in 2016, he started his voice acting career, with roles such as Agent Coulson in Marvel Avengers Academy. Characters like Josuke and Galo may not require new voice actors due to their respective works concluding in English. Kametz' voice work for Ferdinand will appear in the upcoming Fire Emblem: Three Hopes, releasing on June 24, 2022. The viewing for Billy Kametz will take place on June 15, 2022. His burial will be on June 18, 2022. Those who wish to express their condolences for the voice actor are suggested to donate to the Colon Cancer Coalition.
