The Sims 4 players spot several sneaky FFXIV references

Fans playing the new The Sims 4 Werewolves expansion have spotted a couple of clever nods in the life game's item descriptions towards critically acclaimed MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV. The text descriptions for several new items added to The Sims 4 make sneaky references to the latest FFXIV expansions, Shadowbringers and Endwalker.

First up is the 'Racked Teak-a Greatshelves' - the name of which which by itself might spark up recognition in fans of the MMO game as a fun play on Shadowbringers location the Rak'tika Greatwood. The item description references the "Warriors of Write" (a play on FFXIV's Warriors of Light) and features the line "one brings shadow, one brings light, some are even two-toned," a quote adapted from the lyrics of Who Brings Shadow, the theme song for Shadowbringers' primary antagonist.

As if that wasn't enough, the description finishes by saying that "having one of these in your house will have you RIDING HOOOOOOME as soon as possible just to see it again." Those iconic two words ring out as the centrepiece of the song's chorus, and - as a long-time Final Fantasy player myself - even reading them in text form out of context in a Sims game makes me just a little bit emotional.

Diablo Immortal microtransactions have made $24 million

Diablo Immortal microtransactions have generated $24 million USD of revenue in the game's first two weeks, with players in the United States and South Korea spending the most on in-game purchases for the RPG game.

Data from industry tracking website AppMagic reveals that, since its launch on June 2, Blizzard's latest RPG has been downloaded more than five million times and has quickly become the developer's second-highest mobile earner, surpassed only by the almighty Hearthstone, which released in 2014.

The majority of Immortal's downloads come from players in the United States and South Korea, and these two countries have also been the highest spenders in terms of microtransactions – the United States is top, accounting for around 43% of Immortal's earnings so far, with South Korea coming in second, contributing around 23% to the game's total yield.

Diablo Immortal leveling guide – how to level up fast

What's the secret to Diablo Immortal leveling? Obviously, the aim of the game is to soak up as many experience points (XP) as quickly as you can in order to unlock more skills. More skills means dishing out more damage, and that means gaining even more XP. But since Diablo Immortal is structured as a mobile game, there are some additional sources of XP you'll want to look out for regularly, especially as you make your first steps in Blizzard's RPG game.

At its core, Diablo Immortal leveling is similar to its predecessors in the way you develop your characters: killing monsters gives you XP, gold, and loot, and you'll use this to advance in levels and gain additional power. Leveling up itself is a cinch: you'll gain a boost in power through some background stat gains automatically. To help you sprint to the level cap as fast as you can, here are some leveling tips to help you gain XP quickly:

Steam Deck 2 – release date, price, specs, and benchmark rumours

Valve may have already released "the best handheld around" as we coined it in our Steam Deck review, but the company is already hard at work putting together Steam Deck 2. This isn't too surprising given how many people are clearly interested in the Deck, with the amount of reservations already pushing the expected availability of the device all the way back to 'after Q2' of this year. Time will tell, however, how much of an upgrade it will offer and whether it can stand up to competitors like the Ayaneo Next.

Gabe Newell, co-founder and president of Valve, nonchalantly confirmed the existence of Steam Deck 2 in an interview with Edge magazine, saying that the release of the company's handheld gaming PC would "help frame our thinking for Deck 2." Newell elaborated that the design of a new Deck would concern itself with capitalizing on "the capabilities that mobile gives us, above and beyond what you would get in a traditional desk or laptop gaming environment."

Unfortunately, Valve is keeping the finer details of what it's cooking up in its Washington offices under strict lock and key. However, we do have some ideas of what to expect from the Steam Deck 2's specs compared to the company's current portable powerhouse.

Grab $450 off this Gigabyte RTX 3070 gaming laptop on Amazon

Using the best gaming laptop can help shake up your setup, as it'll enable you to bring your Steam library on the go. While full-fat gaming PC builds can feature beefier specs, mobile solutions now wield discrete GPUs that offer desktop levels of performance. Of course, portable rigs can cost a pretty penny, especially if they're equipped with the best graphics cards. However, deals do pop up from time to time, and you can currently grab $450 off Gigabyte's RTX 3070 offering on Amazon.

Over on Amazon US, you can now get the Gigabyte A5 X1 gaming laptop for $1,299, thanks to a 26% discount. This portable powerhouse is packing an Nvidia RTX 3070 GPU, an AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX CPU, and 16GB of gaming RAM, a specs list that puts it on par with some full-sized gaming PCs. It's also under £1,000 in the UK, if you live across the pond.

The Gigabyte A5 X1 features a 240Hz 1080p display, which should come in handy if you're into playing the best FPS games. The screen also boasts anti-glare qualities, so you won't need to worry about a sunny day spoiling your gaming sessions.

The best Diablo Immortal Demon Hunter build for PvP and PvE

When it comes to making the best Diablo Immortal Demon Hunter build, there are several important factors to consider. The Demon Hunter is an attractive Diablo Immortal class as it's capable of dealing huge amounts of damage, earning a high rank on our Diablo Immortal tier list. A Demon Hunter's main objective is to deal as much damage as possible while herding large groups of enemies with its crowd control effects.

Taking advantage of late-game item drops, Diablo Immortal gems, and several powerful skills is key to making the best Diablo Immortal Demon Hunter build. We've gone for a mix of AoE attacks that inflict slowdown effects on foes, alongside a set of gear that greatly enhances the Demon Hunter's ultimate ability.

It's going to take a while to get everything you need to make this build, as one of the skills requires a level 50 character, and there's plenty of legendary gear to collect. Once you have everything, though, you'll be a nigh-on unstoppable monster in both PvE and PvP. This Demon Hunter build works best when playing with friends, but can do reasonably well if you're playing this RPG game independently.

AMD could be working on a Ryzen APU for Steam Deck 2

AMD could be cooking up a Steam Deck 2 Ryzen APU, as rumours suggest a "Van Gogh Successor" is coming. The new chip supposedly features Zen 4 and RDNA 3 architectures, and it'll aim to be an "ultra low powered" version of the next-gen Phoenix point CPU.

According to Moore's Law is Dead, the potential Steam Deck 2 APU packs four cores, eight threads, and four WorkGroup Processors. It's apparently smaller than Valve's current chip of choice but larger than Mendocino, an RDNA 2 alternative that's similar to Van Gogh.

It's worth noting that while "Little Phoenix" like a perfect fit for the Steam Deck 2, it doesn't mean a handheld successor is coming soon. The current iteration of Valve's portable powerhouse is still in high demand, so the company probably isn't in a hurry to release a new handheld. Sources claim the new APU project began late into the Phoneix development cycle, meaning it probably won't be ready until sometime next year.

Mana debit card: everything you need to know

If you've ever thought you should be getting more rewards that are better tailored to your lifestyle than you already do, then you should consider getting a Mana debit card. Mana is launching in the US later this year, and offers up reward points for everything you buy which you can then redeem for video games, gift cards and other gaming gear.

Imagine: you go out for your weekly food shop, put fuel in your card while you're there, and maybe drop by a drive-thru on the way home for a snack. You pay for all of this with your Mana debit card, earning reward points each time. And when you're next looking around the Xbox store for a bargain, you can use those reward points to pick up an Xbox gift card and save yourself some money buying the game that just caught your eye.

The best part is that Mana is free to use, so there's no cost to you for using the card - just rewards. That said, there is also Mana Pro, which for a yearly fee increases the rewards you earn and grants you a bunch of great bonuses, like a year of Discord Nitro and three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

Dread Delusion is a vibrant take on Elder Scrolls: Morrowind

Dread Delusion is a gorgeous fantasy game with a vibrantly coloured open world that feels inspired by classic RPG The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. James Wragg from developer Lovely Hellplace describes the game, which launched on Steam Early Access on June 15, as "a retro cosmic horror role-playing game, or perhaps just a swordy, jumpy romp through a world teeming with interesting characters and terrifying monsters."

Dread Delusion's eye-catching retro 3D design is reminiscent of late 90s visuals, even featuring the gentle graphical wobble associated with the likes of the first PlayStation's graphics. Most immediately noticeable is the bold pink and purple hues of the skyline and the giant, shimmering blood moon. The game features a handcrafted open world comprised of floating islands above a broken planet whose surface "seethes with an undead curse."

As you take on the game's quests or simply explore the world for yourself, you will encounter plenty of threats. However, Lovely Hellplace notes that combat is "never the only option" and that "a keen mind or charming wit can prove just as useful as a sword," so we're hopeful for plenty of non-violent solutions to encounters.

Halo Infinite ranks – new ranking system explained

Want to know how Halo Infinite ranks work? In addition to the many unranked game types on offer, the free-to-play FPS game has a ranked mode where players can compete against each other in tense matches. The match's outcome determines how many points players gain or lose towards the next rank.

But how do you rise through the Halo Infinite ranks? Theoretically, it's straightforward: play well in every ranked arena match. However, that's not easy to put into practice. The ranked arena playlist has several game types on rotation: Slayer, Capture the Flag, Oddball, and Strongholds. You must complete ten matches in ranked arena mode to earn a starting rank in one of the many ranked leaderboards.

To increase your rank, you need to perform well in matches by killing enemy Spartans, assisting allies in killing enemies, or completing objectives in any non-Slayer match types. As long as you aren't constantly dying and you play well, you should make progress towards the next rank after every match. However, a poor performance will take away some progress towards the next rank, and you don't want that to happen.

Intel Arc A380 barely beats entry-level AMD Radeon GPU

The Intel Arc desktop GPU is supposed to be 25% faster than AMD's Radeon RX 6400, but new benchmarks suggest otherwise. While the Arc A380 features higher specs at a cheaper price point, it supposedly fails to leave the red team's entry-level card completely in the dust.

According to benchmarks by 3DCenter, The Intel Arc A380 is only 4% faster than the Radeon RX 6400. Performance increase figures jump to 21% with price factored into the equation, with both figures failing to match the blue team's promotional claims.

Of course, further driver optimisation may help improve the A380's abilities, but 3DCentre has already reevaluated its performance forecasts for the Arc Alchemist lineup. The site now predicts that the flagship A780 will be "slightly worse than GeForce RTX 3060 Ti," while midrange cards might struggle against the RTX 3050.

     The best Diablo Immortal builds

Looking for some powerful Diablo Immortal builds to start experimenting with? Blizzard Entertainment's mobile-focused action-RPG has arrived on PC, and hardcore Diablo fans are already busily min-maxing their favourite classes to create unstoppable farming machines.

Between the six classes and innumerable legendary items and gems, there are lots of ways you can hone your heroes, whether you want to be brilliant at buffing teammates, mighty in melees, or specialists at taking down single targets. Despite having so many options at your disposal, the basics of making the best Diablo builds are satisfyingly simple: you find a combination of abilities that you're comfortable with, and then buff them with all the legendary loot you can find.

We have not included a build for every class in the RPG game, instead we've listed builds that are straightforward to play and relatively easy to grind for - hence why our Diablo Immortal Necromancer build isn't here. And while we've listed the legendary items that are key to each build, you won't find recommendations for legendary weapons unless they're essential - most of the time, you only need to look out for good rolls and effects that gel with your build. Check out our dedicated Barbarian, Demon Hunter, Crusader, Monk, and Wizard build guides if you're looking for builds with full gear recommendations.

You can guarantee Overwatch 2 beta access – for a price

Getting Overwatch 2 beta access might be a bit of a lottery, but Activision Blizzard has provided one way to guarantee yourself an entry ticket - providing that you're willing to pay for it. The Overwatch 2 Watchpoint pack, which is now available for sale on the Battle.net store, ensures entry to the Overwatch 2 beta along with the first Overwatch 2 battle pass when the FPS game enters early access in October.

Currently, sign-ups are available for the game's second PvP beta on the Overwatch website. However, not everyone who signs up is guaranteed access, and having access to the previous beta does not carry over to this new one. The Watchpoint pack, which is priced at $39.99 USD / £34.99 GBP / €39.99 EUR, includes access to the beta starting on June 28 along with a copy of Overwatch: Legendary Edition.

Also included in the bundle are two legendary hero skins for Overwatch 2, space raider Soldier 76 and space raider Cassidy, which have a very 'space pirates' vibe to them. Players purchasing the pack will receive access to the season one premium battle pass, as well as 2000 of Overwatch 2's virtual currency for the new in-game shop, and an exclusive Overwatch 2 player icon to show off their support.

Fans of horror games - us included - are eagerly eyeing up The Callisto Protocol's December release date, so we spoke with the team at Striking Distance Studios about the upcoming space game's influences and inspirations, and what goes into designing such terrifying experiences. The team states that it would love The Callisto Protocol to be the start of a franchise, and such ambitions start at the drawing table.

PCGamesN spoke with Chris Stone, chief creative officer at Striking Distance Studios and formerly animation director on Dead Space, about where the team are looking most closely for inspiration. Stone names genre-defining horror game series Silent Hill and Resident Evil as "obvious influences," but says that Striking Distance Studios also takes "a lot of inspiration from movies like The Thing and Event Horizon." Stone quotes French and Korean cinema as prominent influences, saying that both are "really stepping up their game in the horror genre."

In addition, Stone says, "we've found ourselves looking at a lot of real-life examples of horror and gore. While these were a lot less fun to research, it was some of the most memorable and valuable content when it came to creating realistic visuals and experiences." This has been a controversial subject in the past, with some people questioning the long-term effects on developers of studying real-world gore for games such as Mortal Kombat 11.

The Quarry ending guide – how to save everyone

Want to get the best The Quarry ending? Unlike most slasher films, The Quarry allows players to save every important character in the same playthrough. This is easier said than done, however, as this horror game features many choices, prompts, and quick time events. It doesn't help that some decisions made at the beginning won't come to fruition until much later, and given how saving progress works, you need to replay the game to get a different outcome.

We recommend making a manual save at the start of every chapter. You must complete difficult quick time event challenges to get the best The Quarry ending. If you fail any of these challenges, these manual saves easily allow you to retry without playing the entire game again. Unfortunately, you can't make manual saves in-game, so you'll need to open Windows Explorer and navigate to the Users folder in your boot drive. From there, open your Username's folder and continue to AppData > Local > TheQuarry > Saved. Next, copy and paste the files inside this folder to another location. You can paste these files into the Saved folder to go back if you make a mistake.

In order to make things easier for you, we've separated all key choices into chapter headers. We've also tried our best to keep things as vague as possible, but there may still be minor spoilers in the paragraphs ahead.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Giorno Giovanna Nendoroid Will Reappear

Good Smile Company is bringing back the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind Giorno Giovanna Nendoroid. The figure first appeared back in December 2019 in Japan, before releasing worldwide. It sold out. The rerun will show up in January 2023 in Japan. Then in March 2023, it will return to North America. It will cost ¥5,478/$49.99. Good Smile Company Store pre-orders will include a special stand for display him on.

The rerelease of the figure will come with everything the original one did. You'll get three face plates. He's stoic in one, slyly smiling in another, and shouting in a third. He comes with both a lighter and tea cup, to recreate scenes from the story. He also has an effect part, to make it look like he's using his Stand.

Here's a closer look at the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Giorno Giovanna Nendoroid with a few of its accessories and face plates.

The JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Giorno Giovanna Nendoroid will return again in Japan in January 2023 and in North America in March 2023. Pre-orders are open until August 10, 2022.

FFVII Cloud Pin Badge Collections Coming in 2023

Following the Final Fantasy VII 25th Anniversary Celebration Broadcast, Square Enix opened pre-orders for all sorts of merchandise inspired by the series. Among the items are two FFVII Cloud pin badge collections. Each volume will feature pins with his depictions in mainline games, spin-offs, and crossovers over the years. A purchase gets you a full display box for $60/5,500円. (Square Enix didn't note how many pins come in one "display.") They'll each appear on September 10, 2022 in Japan and in January 2023 in North America.

The thing about the sets is that these collections are displays of blind boxes. So when people buy either volume 1 or volume 2, they are getting a set number of blind boxes that could contain the 10 pins from that collection. You aren't guaranteed to get one of each with the purchase. Each pin features a picture of Cloud, as well as lists the game that image is taken from. Volume 1 features pictures of Cloud from FFVII, FFVII Remake, FFVII Advent Children, and the spin-offs Before Crisis FFVII and Dissidia Final Fantasy. There are multiple FFVII, FFVII Remake, and Advent Children pins in volume 2 too. However, that one also shows him as he appeared in Crisis Core and G-Bike.

Here's a closer look at all 20 pins.

The FFVII Cloud pin badge collections volume 1 and 2 will appear in Japan on September 10, 2022 and in North America in January 2023.

More Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Soundtrack Songs Shared

As part of the measures to promote Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Nintendo shared even more songs from its soundtrack. It initially released a track connected to the main characters Noah and Mio. However, the newest ones are more general music people will hear when going through the game.

Both of the new songs feature the same background image. That means people can see the Mechonis and Uraya titan while the music plays.

Here's "The Weight of Life," the first of the two new tracks shared.

The second new song from the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 soundtrack is "Keves Battle." This is one of the battle themes and, given the name, it will probably play when characters are fighting in Noah, Eunie, and Lanz's homeland.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will come to the Nintendo Switch on July 29, 2022. The special edition includes an art book and SteelBook case.

FFVII The First Soldier Crisis Core Polygonal Skins Appear, Events Begin

More of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII is now present in FFVII The First Soldier. A special event kicked off as part of the 25th anniversary celebration. People can experience special gameplay elements during matches connected to the series. There are also new polygonal character skins based on Zack, Angeal, Genesis, and Aerith. All events started on June 17, 2022.

First, the new Crisis Core FFVII skins in FFVII The First Soldier are available via two ways. The one of Aerith in her white dress from the game can be earned. If you fight the event monsters, like Red Scorpion or a Cactaur, you can earn data items to get that skin and other Crisis Core Collab Collection items like polygonal Chocobos. There will also be Premium Shinra Packs with the Zack (FF7), FF7-Style Angeal (CC FF7), and FF7-Style Genesis (CC FF7) skins. Those will appear alongside the HP Shout dagger skin, Hyperion Chocobo skin, Premium Heart H2H skin, and Ultima Weapon sword skin.

As far as gameplay goes, there will be two things that call back to Crisis Core FFVII. First, the Digital Mind Wave roulette system will appear. Playing can make them appear, which can earn you buffs if certain characters appear and line up. A Zack Mimic element can also come up. As you fight, you can come across his Buster Sword and temporarily transform into him. Both features only will be available during standard matches during the event.

Here's a trailer showing off the additions.

Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier is available on mobile devices, and the Crisis Core FFVII events are running until July 7, 2022. Back in March 2022, standard Crisis Core-inspired skins appeared in-game.

Splatoon 3 Undertow Spillway Turf War Map Teased

People can get a quick look at a new place to explore in the world of Splatoon. Nintendo shared a look at a Splatoon 3 Turf War map called Undertow Spillway. The over 20 second video looks at ramps, obstacles, and both upper and lower level areas.

As spillways are built at dams, there will likely be potential water hazard areas to fall into. However, the look at the Splatoon 3 Turf War map mainly focuses on surfaces people can walk along and leave ink on. A few platforms also appear, suggesting spots where people could make leaps to jump or ascend to new locations. Some jellyfish appear at the very end.

In the past, Nintendo showed off quite a few returning Splatoon 3 weapons. It showed off chargers, rollers, sloshers, and splatlings.

It also showed off some of the foes we'll face. Both Octarian and Octoling art and screenshots showed up online.

Splatoon 3 will debut on the Nintendo Switch on September 9, 2022.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R Mariah Trailer Appears

The latest JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R character trailer stars Mariah. She's one of the villains in the Stardust Crusaders arc. She's also one of the new fighters debuting in this version of the game.

In case you missed some past JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R character trailers, here are the ones that showed up before Mariah and Bastet's.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R will appear on September 2, 2022. It will be available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. The PS4 and PS5 demo is available to play between June 16-22, 2022.

Evangelion 3.0+1.0 Heading to North American Theaters Blu-ray

People will have new ways to see the last Rebuild of Evangelion movie. GKids got the rights to it. This means that Evangelion 3.0+1.0 will appear in North American theaters and people could soon see things like a Blu-ray release or digital copies to buy. At the moment, it is available to stream on Amazon Prime. It should show up in movie theaters in places like the United States and Canada at the end of 2022.

GKids began by noting it had the "North American theatrical, home video, and EST rights." This would mean people will see Evangelion 3.0+1.0 on DVD, Blu-ray, and to purchase digitally alone on storefronts. In a follow-up tweet, it confirmed the "late 2022" launch window for the theatrical release.

It took quite a while for Evangelion 3.0+1.0 to release worldwide. The Japanese debut kept being delayed for production-related reasons and the due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It eventually ended up appearing in March 2021 in Japan. A worldwide release followed on Amazon Prime. It also made quite a bit of money when it released in Japan.

Evangelion 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time will head to North American theaters in late 2022, and home video DVD, blu-ray, and digital releases are on the way.

genshin impact shinobu

HoYoverse has released more information on Shinobu and how she will play when she debuts in Genshin Impact. She will appear as one of the four-star characters on the Itto banner, which will go live on June 21, 2022, and last until July 12, 2022. Aside from information on her kit, the official Genshin Impact YouTube account also uploaded the character demo video "Kuki Shinobu: Jack of All Trades."

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=13fviLTc0Aw

Shinobu will be an Electro Sword user, and she will work as a combination healer and sub DPS in a similar way to Sayu. Her Elemental Skill, Sanctifying Ring, will create a ring around her that constantly deals Electro DMG. Activating it will sacrifice her HP, but the active character within the ring will have their HP restored. The healing will scale based on Shinobu's max HP.

As for Shinobu's Elemental Burst, Gyoei Narukami Kariyama Rite, she will deal continuous Electro DMG within an AoE. How much damage it does will also scale off of her max HP. Like Hu Tao, the lower Shinobu's HP is, the more effective her Burst is. In Shinobu's case, the field will last longer when her HP is 50% or lower.

In English, Kira Buckland voices Shinobu. Buckland previously played 2B in NieR Automata and Jolyne Cujoh in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean. As for the Japanese voice-over, Kaori Mizuhashi voices her. Mizuhashi's previous roles include Mami from Puella Magi Madoka Magica and Miss Crane in Fate/Grand Order. Shinobu played a major role in the Perilous Trail event. Additionally, she will have a Hangout Event from the next update.

Genshin Impact is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and mobile devices. The Itto and Shinobu banner will run from June 21 until July 12, 2022.

Postal Brain Damaged Review 1The reception to the Postal games was never really what anyone would call "positive." There was a bit of hope for this to go the other way when Postal 4 spent a considerable amount of time in Early Access, allowing players to inform the developer of issues to try and make for a better final product. Then it released to a Metacritic average in the low 30s. Despite bearing the series name, Postal: Brain Damaged is actually very good. In fact, it's quite close to being great. However, it's held back by some worrisome bugs and notable problems with balance and enemy placement. Postal: Brain Damaged isn't a Postal game. Not really. It features the series' protagonist and humor, but structurally and gameplay-wise, it's very much a '90s first-person shooter. The story is that the Postal Dude is asleep and dreaming about various things. There are three episodes with five levels (four standard and one boss battle), and each episode has the ...

Osrs Third Party Clients Banned Runelite Osbuddy OshdDeveloper Jagex has made radical changes to its official stance on third-party clients for Old School RuneScape. Moving forward, most third-party clients for OSRS will be banned. This means that players playing on these clients will be forced to transition to a legal client or have their accounts suspended. Players have until June 24 to transition. Although this ban will affect a lot of clients, the most popular clients will remain valid. After June 24, four clients will still be considered legal with players being able to use them freely. These are the official Jagex client, RuneLite, HDOS, and OSBuddy. The aforementioned clients are the ones the majority of Old School RuneScape players use.   In the revealing blog post, Jagex details why it has chosen to ban most OSRS third-party clients. The post reads: "over time some client add-ons have become too intrusive, affecting the gameplay in unacceptable ways and offering increasingly over-powered benefits." The developer...

Dread Delusion Worth It 5When I see a throwback to the janky 3D RPGs of the mid '90s, I check them out. Yes, I do. Dread Delusion just entered Early Access, bringing with it a bunch of warbly textures and large landscapes to explore. The game is a first-person RPG meant to be reminiscent of the King's Field PlayStation One games and, after playing it, I can say that it hits the mark. The game is affordably priced and set to stay that way. It's supposed to be in development for six to nine months. Moore depth to the main questline, weapon unlocks, spells, and additional features are planned. But the question stands: is Dread Delusion worth it now in Early Access? Dread Delusion opens up with your character as a freshly released prisoner. The man who has just freed you is also responsible for incarcerating you. He offers a deal: you're to go and find a certain woman and apprehend her. Do this, and you're a free man. You then go outside, find a rusty sword in a chest, and are brie...
