Given that it's a big superhero game out in just a few months, this Halloween in fact, it's surprising how little we know about the Gotham Knights villains - especially with all of Batman's rogues' gallery to play with. However, a "big villain reveal" is apparently coming soon - might it be the teased Harley Quinn or Ra's Al Ghul?

While the trailers for Gotham Knights continue to roll out in advance of its October release, the only Batman villains revealed as featuring are the Penguin, Mr. Freeze, and the Court of Owls. There have been teases of Harley Quinn, Two-Face, and Ra's Al Ghul, but nothing for certain - other than confirmation that the Joker isn't in it.

In a new interview between creative director Patrick Redding and Temple of Geek at SDCC - which isn't on YouTube yet but the relevant part was grabbed by @STension19 on Twitter - Redding says that he is "especially proud" of all the villains in the game. He couldn't talk about them in the interview, but says he will talk more about the Gotham Knights villains "in a few weeks when we've had our big villain reveal."

     GTA 6 release date still

The GTA 6 release date is "at least two years away" say Rockstar insiders, who have also described that the upcoming sandbox crime sim will be set in a Vice City-style Miami and feature a Latina, female protagonist.

People reportedly "close to" the development of GTA 6 have claimed that the game will feature a "playable female protagonist for the first time", who will form half of "a pair of leading characters in a story influenced by the bank robbers Bonnie and Clyde". The game was originally codenamed Project Americas, with Rockstar planning to create an enormous, changing map that encompassed parts of both North and South America. However, that idea was later "reeled in", with the developer deciding instead to focus on a fictionalised version of Miami and its "surrounding areas" – a location that was last seen in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.

Torchlight Infinite dev: Diablo Immortal failed to manage expectations

Diablo Immortal was hurt by a failure to manage player expectations, says Torchlight Infinite producer Liu Heng. Discussing how development studio XD Inc's approach to its PC and mobile take on the Torchlight franchise has been influenced by the reception to Diablo Immortal, Heng speaks about how the RPG game was pitched to players.

In an email interview with GameSpot, Heng says that, "From our perspective, the public was most unhappy about their expectation of how Diablo Immortal was presented as an ARPG game, but was instead released as an ARPG MMO." This distinction led to narrower progression systems and build options than those found in Diablo III, Heng says, which might have misled players who were expecting a more 'traditional' Diablo experience.

The multiplayer-focused structure of Diablo Immortal has been a cause of much consternation among the community lately, with players frustrated by the game's insistence on partying up in warbands. There have been increasing reports of long Diablo Immortal dungeon queue times, too, causing increased calls for the option to undertake content as a solo player.

The Razer Deathstalker V2 Pro carries the legacy of a series that hasn't been seen for a decade, revitalising the lineup as the company's first-ever wireless mechanical keyboard with optical switches.      Elder Scrolls 6 can wait, as two classic Bethesda RPGs land on PC

Elder Scrolls 6 won't be here for a while, and that Starfield release date remains an elusive mystery, but those of you hungry for some RPG action can take solace in two new previews which have just launched on Xbox Insiders, bringing a pair of Bethesda classics to PC.

Elder Scrolls Legend: Battlespire and Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard are two lesser-known spin-offs, originally released all the way back in 1997 and 1998. Battlespire was originally intended as an expansion for Daggerfall, but was transformed into its own game, focusing on a battle with the Daedra, and a climactic trek into Oblivion. Redguard is the bigger of the two games, and has the distinction of being the only game in the whole Elder Scroll series where you play a predetermined character from a fixed, third-person perspective. The plot centres on Tiber Septim and the aftermath of his occupation of Hammerfell, and is even referenced in Skyrim – Redguard's main character, Cyrus, is the subject of a song you can overhear in the bars and taverns.

Multiversus leaks show Robin LeBron, Wonder Woman movie skins

With the fighting game now out, more Multiversus leaks are rolling in that reveal some exciting new skins likely coming in season 1 - including a Wonder Woman movie skin and Batman's partner Robin, who appears as a Space Jam cosplaying LeBron James skin.

Given the Super Warner Smash Bros game was revealed to the world through leaks, it's natural the trend continues with likely upcoming Multiversus skins now the game is officially out and free-to-play - including new outfits for LeBron James, Bugs Bunny, Wonder Woman, Taz, and Arya.

The most notable is a Robin costume for LeBron James, as he sports in Space Jam: A New Legacy alongside Batman Bugs Bunny, who will probably come later. While it was datamined first, @multiversusie on Twitter spotted that Twitch apparently leaked the skin as well.

These corners also provide a challenge to drivers to balance their F1 22 Imola setup for tackling slow and fast technical corners while maintaining speed on the straights.      FFXIV 6.2 patch details: Island Sanctuary, new raid, glamour updates

Critically acclaimed MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV is many things to many people, and now players can escape to their own Animal Crossing style island getaway with the upcoming FFXIV Island Sanctuary, which was detailed in Live Letter 71. In addition, game director Naoki Yoshida and community producer Toshio Murouchi expanded on much of the upcoming content players can expect with FFXIV patch 6.2, which is scheduled for late August.

Island Sanctuary is an individual island that each player gets for themselves. It is handled largely separately from the rest of the game, with its own materials, currencies, and inventory which are all handled independently so as not to clutter up players' normal inventories. You can grow crops, cultivate seeds, care for creatures, and develop and decorate your island to your heart's content. Each island is unique to you and the progression is designed for solo play, but players will be able to invite friends and free company members to visit their islands.

Yoshi-P emphasises that the islands are quite large - pointing to a tiny dot just visible on a wide overhead shot that he says is a Roegadyn, as an example of their scale. Island Sanctuary is expected to arrive with update 6.25, so won't be here for August's patch, but it should give players a whole new way to spend their time in Eorzea. We may not have Animal Crossing on PC, but this certainly feels like a good alternative.

Sources from Aspyr told Bloomberg's Jason Schreier that the game had been intended for a 2022 release, but that 2025 was more "realistic".

E3 2023 In The Games IndustryThe Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) has been a hallmark of the games industry for decades. It was the summer event that would bring together game publishers and developers from across the industry for a comprehensive showcase of new announcements. Simply put, it was Christmas for gamers. On the other hand, E3 was an expensive venture for the game companies willing to take part. On top of that, the shift toward a more public-focused experience was also creating new problems in recent years. It's not hard to understand why various game companies no longer wanted to be a part of it. The COVID-19 pandemic only gave publishers even more reasons to host their own digital events throughout the year instead. But, is this new approach genuinely better for fans and game companies alike? It has issues of its own, which leads us to believe that there could still be a place for E3 in the games industry.   E3 isn't great for game publishers and developers From the perspective of publishe...
