PCGamesN Thursday, August 11, 2022 1:06 PM  Players are reporting a Diablo Immortal bug which appears to be delivering a heavy nerf to Necromancer minions when wearing the Shepherd's Call to Wolves set in the RPG game. The set, which is one of the favoured endgame Diablo Immortal builds for Necromancer - described by Maxroll as "possibly the best set for them in the entire game for both PvP and PvE" - is currently suffering from the apparent loss of one of its key buffs. The issue has been highlighted by multiple posts on the Diablo Immortal bug report forums on the Blizzard website, which all report that the expected damage buff is not being applied to the Necromancer's minions, although the attack speed buff appears to be working as expected. Several replies across the threads corroborate that they are running into the same issue. By default, the Shepherd set applies three levels of bonus depending upon how many pieces you have equipped. With two pieces on, your summons will deal 15% additional damage. Equip four pieces, and your critical hit chance is increased by 3% for each summon you have active up to a maximum bonus of 18%. Several leaks recently revealed a number of the DBZ skins coming to Fortnite, which include protagonist Goku, his closest frenemy Vegeta, and Beerus - the God of Destruction from the modern Dragon Ball Super shounen anime series. Now, a tweet from the official Fortnite account on Twitter has confirmed the collaboration's arrival, with a tweet simply reading, "Speak. Name your wish… 8.16.2022." As if to remove any doubt, the tweet features an image of the Eternal Dragon Shenron appearing in the sky - the figure who grants a wish to anyone who collects all of the titular Dragon Balls. We can expect to go Super Saiyan very soon then, with the Fortnite Dragon Ball Z collaboration release date landing on August 16. HoYoVerse is teasing the upcoming Genshin Impact update with some animated goodness. A new Genshin Impact anime trailer stars the characters of Sumeru. It's a brief montage, but also a departure from the usual practice of using in-engine CG and 3D models for cinematics. It also features many of the characters introduced individually as part of the promotional buildup to Sumeru. Check it out below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZEpU-DbzZU The Genshin Impact anime trailer for Sumeru shows off brief glimpses of the Traveler (Aether) and Paimon, as well as the Sumeru characters Tighnari, Collei, Alhaitham, Dori, Cyno, Dehya, Nilou, and Nahida. The trailer itself is narrated by Nahida. In English, Nahida is voiced by Kimberly Anne Campbell, who provided the voice of Nagatoro from Don't Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro. In Japanese, she's voiced by Yukari Tamura, who also voices Qiqi, as well as Suzuha from Steins;Gate. In her narration, Nahida emphasizes that everything in this world "runs on a loop". She challenges the Traveler to find the truth underneath the complexities of Sumeru (and Teyvat). She also refers to herself as "just the moon", with an unnamed "Sun" having long gone. Based on information from last month's Sumeru preview, she may be referring to the previous Dendro Archon, who established the systems that run Sumeru in the present. The Kirby 30th anniversary music festival will be available to stream worldwide. The live stream event will start on August 11, 2022, at 6 PM Japan Time (2 AM PST / 11 AM CEST), and will be available via the official Kirby YouTube channel. The video will be available to watch for free. [Thanks, Famitsu!] The Kirby anniversary music festival is a single-day music event where 35 musicians will perform various songs from the Kirby franchise. The songs will cover several different genres, including big band jazz. The event will also feature a large LED screen that will show Kirby dancing to the rhythm of the song. Notably, the Kirby YouTube account will reportedly archive the live stream for viewers to watch at a later date. In-person tickets are already sold out and are separated into two showing times. The first show runs from 12:30 PM, and the second show runs from 6 PM Japan Time. Event merchandise includes light-up wands, keychains, and plushies featuring a dancing Kirby as well as other jazz-themed characters. Final Fantasy XIV's summer event, the 2022 FFXIV Moonfire Faire, is live now. The event began on August 10, 2022, and will run through August 26, 2022. As with other instances of the seasonal celebration, participants will win some free clothing to use for their glamour sets. They'll also come away with a hot new piece of outdoor furniture, perhaps to warm cold nights in Ishgard. Players can start the FFXIV Moonfire Faire 2022 quest by speaking to the NPC Mayaru Moyaru, located in Limsa Lominsa. He's on the Upper Decks, hanging out at the plaza near the Aftcastle Aethernet point. Concluding the quest line gives players a five-piece set of "Summer Sunset" gear set. There's one piece for each main armor slot, and each has a low level requirement, making them suitable only for cosmetic glamours. The Summer Sunset Bandana gives players a festive headscarf with gold patterns. The Summer Sunset Beach Cover-up is a shirt-like beach garment that's meant to hang open. On male characters the piece shows a set of beach jewelry, and on female characters it shows a bikini top. The cover-up itself has similar gold patterns on the design. The Summer Sunset Wrist Torques add extra bracelet accessories. The Summer Sunset Bottoms display as a set of patterned beach pants on males, and bikini bottoms on females. For those suffering in the summer heat, Scathach Skadi has a present: the Arctic Summer World summer event is now underway in the Japanese edition of Fate/Grand Order. This event is only available in the Japanese server of the game for now. Arctic Summer World will run from August 10 until August 31, 2022. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1DqQOFrkVxs The free Servant for Arctic Summer World is one of the Valkyrie sisters. You can choose the swimsuit version of either Ortlinde, Hildr, or Thrud; they all have the same stats so the choice falls on whose aesthetic you prefer. Swimsuit Valkyrie is an Assassin. You can also unlock alternate skins for them that make them look like a whole different Valkyrie. For example, Ortlinde comes with a Geirskogul Spiritron Dress. [gallery columns="1" ids="933542" link="file"] As of the time of writing, Swimsuit Gareth (Saber) and Lady Avalon (Pretender) are on the banner. Other Servants who will appear later include swimsuit versions of Ibuki Doji (Berserker), Wu Zetian (Caster), Scathach Skadi (Ruler), and Utsumi Erice (Avenger). You can also get swimsuit outfits for Yan Qing, Ashiya Douman, and Asclepius. Arctic Summer World plays in a similar way to other events in Fate/Grand Order. As this is a theme park, you need to improve the various areas to get more customers. The more customers appear, the more rewards you can get. Rewards include Command Codes, QP, and materials. Nintendo's Splatoon 3 Direct ended with confirmation of a new set of hosts. Replacing the Off The Hook duo of Marina and Pearl is a new trio: Deep Cut. The group calls the Splatlands their turf, and runs the Anarchy Splatcast, the in-game news broadcast. Like Off The Hook, and The Squid Sisters before them, Deep Cut trio is a group of popstar performers: Shiver, Frye, and Big Man. They'll deliver Splatoon 3 news each day when players log in or in the background on players' "Sea-cucumber Phones". This includes information about in-game events and the map rotation for each mode. They'll also perform during Splatfests, which return to provide periodic bursts of community competitive chaos. Previously, Splatfests presented the community with a binary choice, such as "Ketchup vs. Mayonnaise". Now, since Deep Cut is a trio, Splatfests are a three-way match, presenting three options for players to align with. These choices will be introduced during the Splatcast when Splatfest time rolls around. One example lays out the options as Rock, Paper, or Scissors. Splatfests will then play out in combat. The first half of a Splatfest follows the usual pattern of 4-on-4 Turf War matches between the colors. Then things change up for the second half. In the second half, three teams will be present on the field. The leading team has four members, while two members each from the trailing teams arrive. With the leading team placed in the center, they need to defend their territory from both sides, as the losing teams can cooperate to bring the leading team down. PC Invasion - FeedDDD Thursday, August 11, 2022 1:00 PM  Intel has given us some fresh and up-to-date gaming performance benchmarks for the Arc A750 graphics card. A video detailing these benchmarks, as well as a blog post, came out earlier today and goes into a fair amount of detail. According to Intel, the Arc A750 is about the same as Nvidia's RTX 3060, and in some cases, it's better. This demo is much more thorough than the previous showing in July. It's also a reassuring sign for Intel's first foray into the market of graphics cards, but the state of Intel's drivers remain a point of concern. It's important to note that the RTX 3060 is a mid-range card at the moment, so the Arc A750 is by no means a high-spec contender. In fact, it's clear that Intel still has a way to go to compete with Nvidia and AMD given that Arc GPUs are based on a more advanced silicon node than the competition. One thing that will undoubtedly cause more confusion and debate in the near future is the PCIe 5.0 motherboard spec. It's the latest and greatest thing; it offers tons of bandwidth for high performance components to function properly. The problem lies with getting your system up to snuff for PCIe 5.0, as it is only supported on the latest Intel 12th gen and the upcoming AMD Ryzen 7000 Series CPUs and motherboards. Fortunately, you won't need to worry about having PCIe 5.0 anytime soon. Components relevant to high-end PC gaming requirements are centered around the PCIe 4.0 spec and will remain that way for the next couple of years at least. Temtem will officially launch on September 6 on the Humble Store and Steam. The game tasks you with fighting the evil Clan Belsoto while capturing Temtems along the way. It plays much like Pokémon, with each captured monster being able to level, be bred, and be optimized for maximum stats. Up to this point, Temtem has been playable in early access, and now that it is launching officially there have been many revealed features. The new trailer showcases new locations, the final island of the Airborne Archipelago, as well as Tamer's Paradise.
