Dead by Daylight killers tier list: all 29 deadly characters ranked

On the prowl for a DBD killers tier list? Six years in, the Dead by Daylight character roster is bigger than ever, boasting a massive 29 killers at the time of writing, and a further 33 survivors. Thanks to that huge list of names, it's certainly difficult to keep track of who you should main. Combined with the July 2022 overhaul of 40 killer and survivor perks which has completely shifted the game, there's even more to consider.

The joy of an asymmetrical horror game has always been the ability to be the bad guy. While there's certainly something thrilling about putting yourself in the shoes of a survivor (there must be a reason we all wonder how we'd do in a zombie apocalypse, right?), nothing gets the heart racing like shirking the lawful-good responsibilities of real life and taking on the role of a blood-thirsty killer. Every one of the following DBD killers has their own terrifying unique power, from ranged axe throws, to infectious bile and close-range chainsaw attacks. But which is best? Find out with our Dead by Daylight killers tier list.

The best PPSh loadout in Warzone

Searching for the best PPSh loadout in Warzone? The PPSh wasn't very good when it first launched compared to the rest of Warzone's best SMGs, but the devs made sure it became a meta weapon in Season 5. By drastically nerfing the Armaguerra, H4 Blixen, and the Marco 5, the PPSh was in the perfect position to take over as Warzone's best SMG.

So, what makes this SMG so special? The PPSh is an excellent close to medium range option thanks to its high bullet velocity and low recoil stats. When you combine all of these important stats together, this makes the PPSh the perfect secondary gun for most loadouts.

Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 GPU may come in two VRAM flavours

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 should be an extremely performant graphics card capable of running games with high frame rates at resolutions such as 4K, but it'll need a good chunk of VRAM to fulfil that potential.      Genshin Impact tier list September 2022: the best characters in 3.0

Looking for a Genshin Impact tier list? There are currently 53 Genshin Impact characters available (not including Dori who arrives in the latter half of the Genshin Impact 3.0 update), so there's no shortage of candidates for your dream team. But with so many different weapons, elementals, talents, ascension bonuses, and constellations upgrades, finding your favourites can be challenging.

Don't let the placement of the characters on our Genshin Impact tier list deter you from pulling on the next character banner. While base stats and elemental abilities are important, the value of a character also depends on personal playstyle, available weapons and artifacts, and team composition. That being said, if your favourite character is in C tier or below, you may struggle to get past some of the more challenging Spiral Abyss floors. Don't worry too much if your favourite character is on one of the lower tiers; you can still make it work with our recommended Genshin Impact builds.

In general, being on a high tier means that the character is the best Genshin Impact character in their role, is not too difficult to build, and performs well regardless of teammates. Being on a lower tier means that there are better alternatives, or the character needs a very specific build or team to shine. Just to note, the characters are not ranked within their own tier, and with that out of the way, let's take a look at our ranking of characters in our Genshin Impact tier list.

Nvidia RTX 4080 – release date, price, specs, and benchmark rumours

The upcoming Nvidia RTX 4080 – or RTX 5080 if the company skips ahead – could be the best graphics card money can buy, especially if you find the potential price of the RTX 4090 offputting. While it won't be top in terms of spec, the RTX 3080 successor should still offer enthusiast levels of performance that stretch beyond the boundaries of mid-tier options.

Grabbing an RTX 4080 graphics card might not be too difficult later this year, after the crypto bubble burst and both GPU and CPU shortages are coming to an end. Nvidia even reportedly spent $10 billion securing RTX 4000 series components to ensure it won't fall behind demand, although it might be kicking itself now that it's stuck with copious amounts of RTX 4000 chips.

Chip politics and manufacturing mumbo-jumbo aside, you're probably eager to learn more about Nvidia's next-gen graphics card. To help shallow the waters of the speculation sea, we've gathered everything we know so far about RTX 4090 release date rumours, potential price, possible specs, and what it could benchmark at.

A truly dynamic story is a goal game designers have strived toward for decades. Worldwalker Games' Wildermyth gets closer to that goal than most. In this spellbinding RPG, players guide bands of heroes through a lifetime of adventure, embarking on dozens of short, whimsical quests wherein they grow, age, and quite literally evolve, with the potential to transform into walking trees, celestial beings, and anthropomorphised crows.

Wildermyth is an inspired example of narrative design, with some nifty tactical combat to boot. But when Nate Austin, his wife Annie, and his brother Doug began developing the game around eight years ago, the weight of emphasis between storytelling and combat was very much the other way around.

River City girls 2

Sabuko, the sword-wielding final boss of River City Girls, isn't one to take defeat lying down. She's back in River City Girls 2, and she's bringing the rest of the family with her. Wayforward uploaded a new "villains" trailer for the game on Friday. It teases some new story and character moments, as well as the series' trademark brawling action.

Check it out below.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4OrWkuUfHlk

Sabuko is the daughter of longtime Kunio-kun series heavy Sabu. Sabu's broken out of jail to take matters into his own hands after Sabuko's thrashing at the hands of protagonists Misako and Kyoko. Now with Ken, Sabu's son and Sabuko's brother, the trio will retake the streets if Misako, Kyoko, and their allies don't do something about it. These allies include two new playable characters.

As in the first game River City Girls 2 will see Misako and Kyoko's boyfriends Kunio and Riki (the original stars of the mainline Kunio-kun games) join the fray. Besides them, however, are Marian and Provie. Marian is the lead heroine of Double Dragon, girlfriend of that game's protagonist Billy Lee. She cameoed in the first game as a shopkeeper. This time around, though, she's taken up a pair of knuckle dusters, discarding her damsel-in-distress role to jump into the melee. Meanwhile Provie travels in from 2017's River City Ransom: Underground, bringing her breakdancing-inspired fighting style. The new characters can get a workout in another new feature for the sequel: 4-player co-op support.

River City Girls 2 releases on Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC later in 2022. River City Girls Zero launches on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC (it's already on Switch) on September 22, 2022. The director of the original River City Ransom, Mitsuhiro Yoshida, died on August 30, 2022.

Mitsuhiro Yoshida

Mitsuhiro Yoshida, the Director of River City Ransom (a.k.a. Downtown Nekketsu), has died. His studio Miracle Kidz announced his death via the official Miracle Kidz Twitter account on September 3, 2022, although he "passed away suddenly" on August 30th. His cause of death was not given. In the Japanese-language announcement, Miracle Kidz staff stated that Yoshida was "at the head" of efforts to make every new title as good as it could possibly be." The funeral was held privately and for family only, but received messages were shared with the family and staff.

https://twitter.com/miracle_kidz/status/1565907621072470016

Mitsuhiro Yoshida is best known for his time at classic Japanese developer Technos Japan and his association with River City Ransom and the wider Kunio-kun series. However, he worked on many of the developer's most iconic projects, including Super Dodge Ball, Double Dragon, and Nintendo World Cup. 1989's Downtown Nekketsu was the first Kunio-kun title made specifically for consoles, and as River City Ransom became the most widely recognized title of the franchise. His influence was such that even WayForward's 2019 River City Girls spin-off had special thanks for him in the credits.

He helped found Miracle Kidz, recruiting former Technos developers and working on Kunio-kun-related titles under the supervision of Arc System Works. Arc System Works acquired the rights to Kunio-kun in 2015, along with the other Technos intellectual properties.

Genshin Impact Dori Video

HoYoVerse continues to showcase the new characters being added to Genshin Impact, like Dori, the most resourceful merchant in Sumeru. Unpredictable and hard to pin down, she has ways to get you anything you need - and things you didn't know you needed.

A new character demo video from Friday emphasizes the Electro character's prowess in combat as well.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P08q5Y7r9Z4

The Genshin Impact Dori character demo reveals her as an Electro-element claymore user. She'll be the third one after Razor and Beidou. That said, she uses her claymore differently than her peers, letting her little Jinni buddy do most of the swinging. Dori is voiced in English by Anjali Kunapaneni. She also voiced Kiriko in Tokyo 24th Ward and Fuku in Demon Slayer. In Japanese, she's voiced by Tomoko Kaneda, who played Chirithy in Kingdom Hearts 3  and Chiyo from Azumanga Daioh.

A blog post on HoYoLab detailed more about Dori's talents and abilities. Unlike other Electro claymore characters, Dori is calibrated as a Genshin Impact support unit. Her abilities are designed to help her teammates restore health, regenerate energy, and cause damage to nearby foes. Her Elemental Skill, Spirit-Warding Lamp: Troubleshooter Cannon will fire a projectile that causes Electro damage to an enemy. The projectile also spawns two "After-Sales Service" projectiles to deliver a follow-up hit. Dori's Elemental Burst, Alcazarazay's Exactitude summons her Jinni buddy, putting down her magic lamp as a stationary beacon. The beacon connects to the active character in a line. The line will continuously restore HP and regenerate energy. Any enemies the line passes through take Electro damage.

Genshin Impact will add Dori on a new summoning banner that includes Kokomi and Ganyu in the latter part of the 3.0 update. The current summoning banner features the Dendro characters Tighnari and Collei. Players who participate in the "Graven Innocence" event can gain a free copy of Collei.

Genshin Impact is available on PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices.

Xbox game studiosIn a recent interview on the Major Nelson Podcast, Xbox Game Studios head Matt Booty spoke briefly about State of Decay 3 and revealed that the game runs on Unreal Engine 5. He also talked about something quite interesting on the development side of Xbox Games Studios. Multiple studios under Xbox's umbrella are experimenting with Unreal Engine 5, and they have been holding internal summits to share ideas and train people on how to best use the engine.   Precious little was gone over, but what was said was intriguing. Firstly, Booty went over a practice Xbox Game Studios has for sharing and training on tech: "We have a structure in place, we just call them summits, where we get subject matter experts together for one or two days. We've had animation summits, UI summits, Unreal Engine summits, physics summits, etc. I think we did in the last year close to 25 of these. That's our main mechanism for teams to share technology back and forth." What's interesting to ...
