Each week you've got a chance at a different weapon for completing Nightfall Strikes, and ever since Season of the Lost, fan-favourite legacy weapons from the original Destiny have been added to the rotation. New seasons often introduce new weapons into the rotation, so it's more important than ever to know in advance the Nightfall weapon schedule. In case you don't know what the Destiny 2 Nightfall weapon means, Nightfall: The Ordeal is a playlist available in the Vanguard menu, alongside the basic Strike playlist. Each week, a different Strike is chosen as the Nightfall, and offered in five escalating difficulties, with harder enemies, challenging modifiers, and enemy power levels cranking up. The coveted Nightfall weapons have a chance to drop from any Nightfall Strike difficulty, but it's far more likely at higher levels. Your best bet for farming each week's Nightfall weapon is to set the Strike to Master difficulty, according to YouTuber Aztecross. You should also note that there's no automatic matchmaking above Hero difficulty, however, so you'll need to get a squad together. Version 3.0 has only been live for a couple of weeks, but leakers are already working overtime to uncover what's next. This new info suggests that Kusanali, the Dendro Archon, will arrive in version 3.2, followed by Scaramouche in version 3.3 with Farazun as a four-star support character, and then Dehya in version 3.5. It appears as though there won't be any new five-star characters in version 3.4, which would fit with previous leaks suggesting HoYoverse is planning a full slate of Archon reruns. We've tried to get the closest possible characters to their original incarnations, but the lack of customisable clothes in this open world game makes accuracy a little tricky. If any of our character creation codes require significant changes, such as tweaking eye shapes or sliding down some size sliders, you can thankfully alter their facial features and some of their costume colours after entering their ID code. While the system has its limitations, the community has done an admirable job creating the best Tower of Fantasy character codes. To use these codes, go to the main menu and select the character creator option. From there, click the Import button and paste the ID of your favourite designs to recreate their look automatically. Do bear in mind that you must select the avatar's correct gender prior to redeeming the code. Before we begin, it's worth noting that these custom characters are separate from the paid-for simulacrums, so check out our Tower of Fantasy tier list for details about who's the best of the bunch. Masayasu Ito, the engineer that played a key role in creating the hardware behind the PlayStation 4, PS4 Pro, and PS5, is leaving Sony. A report in Bloomberg, followed by an announcement on the Japanese corporate site, confirmed Ito's departure. According to Sony, the 60-year-old Ito is retiring after a career at Sony lasting more than 35 years. Ito leaves Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) on October 1st, 2022. [Thanks, GamesIndustry.biz!]. Masayasu Ito joined Sony in 1986, at first working on in-car audio equipment. He moved to the console division in 2000, the same year as the launch of the PlayStation 2. There he worked on accessories for the PS2. As part of the PlayStation group, he later led engineering for the PlayStation 4, the mid-generation upgraded PS4 Pro, and the PlayStation 5. Readers of the PS Blog may remember his signature on the post accompanying the first teardown of the PS5 hardware. Upon his departure from Sony Interactive Entertainment, Masayasu Ito will be replaced by Lin Tao, SIE's current Senior Vice President of Finance, Corporate Development, and Strategy. Though he's retiring from SIE, Ito will remain at Sony Group proper for a time. Ito will have an assignment in the Mobility division, and continue to support SIE's Platform Experience Group in an "Executive Adviser" capacity until March 2023. Bandai Namco has announced the release dates for Gundam Evolution on the Mission Briefing program that premiered on September 6, 2022. The free-to-play game will appear first on PCs on September 21, 2022, in the Americas and on September 22, 2022, for the rest of the world. The console versions will follow suit on November 30, 2022, in U.S. time zones and on December 1, 2022, in Europe and Asia. The producer Kazuya Maruyama and battle director Ryota Hogaki announced that their team will gradually add new content to the game with bi-monthly seasons. They also revealed more playable Mobile Suits for the first-person shooter game. The Mahiroo from Turn A Gundam and a melee version of Zaku II will join Gundam Exia and Gundam Unicorn's Marasai in the list of unlockable units at launch. The RX-0 Unicorn Gundam will appear later through the first season update. While players can unlock these Mobile Suits with points collected from playing the game, they can also opt to purchase a DX Edition bundle that will immediately unlock all five aforementioned units while adding exclusive decoration skins.

Asian countries and regions other than Japan will only get formal access to the PC version of Gundam Evolution on Steam, which will add Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese language supports. The remaining nations will be able to play the game on both PC and consoles, which support Japanese, English, French, and German by default. Idea Factory held the Otomate Party 2022 event on Sunday, September 4, 2022. The company revealed seven otome games that will appear on Nintendo Switch. The lineup included three new games and two ports of existing titles from older platforms. A sequel and a fan disc expansion rounded out the list. Here's a general rundown of the seven otome games revealed at Otomate Party 2022. As of this writing, Temirana-koku no Tsuiteru Hime to Tsuitenai Kishidan is the only new title that has its own website available.
Spade no Kuni no Alice ~Wonderful Black World~, Senjou no Waltz, and Princess Arthur will appear in 2023. Shuuen no Virche -EpiC:lycoris-, Temirana-koku no Tsuiteru Hime to Tsuitenai Kishidan, 9 R.I.P., and My9Swallows Topstars League are yet to have a release window as of this writing. Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak Capcom is concerned about the proliferation of altered and modded quests in the game. Players of Monster Hunter Rise and Sunbreak have proven capable of using external tools to create Anomaly Investigation quests using customized data. Things like modified timers, faint limits, and instances of monsters appearing in places they shouldn't be were spotted by players. In a statement made on the official Twitter account on September 6th, the development team followed up on an earlier message warning players about the risks of playing modded quests MH Rise Sunbreak. The earlier warning simply cautioned players against playing modded content, asking that they delete modded quests immediately and refrain from trying them out. Modded quests are easiest to see on the PC version of the game, whereas Switch players are less likely to see them due to the comparative rarity of "jailbroken" Switch consoles. Now, Capcom has shared details that players can use to detect if a given quest is modded or illegitimate. This should give players some information on how to avoid MH Rise Sunbreak modded quests while Capcom looks into a technical solution to filter them out. Capcom also assured players that there is "no correlation" between seeing modded quests and effects to save data.

[gallery columns="2" ids="934938,934939" link="file"] The main guideline for players to detect MH Rise Sunbreak modded quests is to check the properties of the mission and see if they fall into acceptable parameters. If they don't, it's likely the quest is modded and should be deleted. One example given was seeing a quest with a 9-faint count limit. 9-faint missions are only found at A*1 and A*2 quests. Another example included quests with a player limit of something other than 2 or 4 (there are no legitimate 1- or 3-player Anomaly Investigations). Still other points included things like the number of targets, time limits, and certain locales (Anomaly Investigations only happen in a set of 7 locales). The second slide gives examples. Atlus' best-traveled characters, The Phantom Thieves, are paying a visit to The Cage. Square Enix announced the NieR Reincarnation x Persona 5 Royal collaboration on September 5th, with a kickoff for the event in Japan on September 9, 2022 [Thanks, Famitsu!]. Check out the trailer for the event, which teases the arrival of Joker, Queen (Makoto), and Fox (Yusuke) from Persona 5 in NieR Reincarnation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tEbK6vNPCxE The trailer also shows the trio deploying their Personas for a special attack. Joker uses Arsene, his first Persona. Queen deploys Johanna, which takes the form of a motorcycle inspired by Pope Joan, an apocryphal female pope from the middle ages. Yusuke uses Goemon, a Persona inspired by Ishikawa Goemon, a legendary Japanese outlaw. Joker and Queen will join the game as part of a premium NieR Reincarnation x Persona 5 Royal banner. Fox is available through the event quest, "Record: Phantom of the Rebellion. The story of the event quest will involve both Persona 5 and NieR Reincarnation characters. Fox will come with a limited Katana weapon. The game will also use background music and aesthetic effects designed to evoke Persona 5, as well. It is unknown if other Persona 5 characters will join the event. The messaging is specific to Persona 5 Royal, though, which could mean that Royal-exclusive characters like Violet may be involved. Though the game crossed has crossed over before with other NieR titles like Replicant and Automata, and even Drakengard and Final Fantasy XIV, the Nier Reincarnation x Persona 5 event is the first time it has crossed over with a non-Square Enix property. NieR Reincarnation is available on Android and iOS devices. Persona 5 Royal is available on PS4, with planned releases for PC, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on October 21, 2022. Gust and Koei Tecmo's Atelier franchise turned 25 years old this year, and the companies are getting ready to announce the next game in the venerable series. Before that happens, though, they're celebrating the games that came before. The Atelier 25th Anniversary trailer uploaded on Monday introduces fans to every game in the franchise to date, and ends with a small tease of what's to come. At the end, a blank canvas on the wall of portraits lights up, transporting viewers to a new, brightly colored world. The environments include sun-drenched ruins, forests, and a mysterious castle. Koei Tecmo plans to announce a new Gust-developed title at this year's Tokyo Game Show, and this teaser is quite likely related to that title. Whether it will be an addition to an existing subseries or the beginning of an entirely new one is as yet unknown. With this in mind, it comes as no surprise that players have rumored about a potential PC port of Returnal for a long time, with a few apparent clues adding fuel to the speculation. One of these clues came in the form of a SteamDB listing that featured references to Returnal's world and genre. That same listing received an update two months later that implemented Steam Deck support. Now, another potential hint has come to the surface, this time coming from a recent GDC talk held by Risto Jankkila and Sharman Jagadeesan, who both work for Returnal studio Housemarque. This GDC presentation, which centered around Returnal's use of VFX, featured screenshots and clips of the game that, according to Alex Battaglia of Digital Foundry, ran on a PC and utilized a debug readout. Intel Arc GPUs will offer a number of trending features, such as ray tracing and AI image upscaling, and the developers want you to try it out. Early adopters that purchase Intel Arc GPUs in qualifying prebuilt systems will receive a bundle of software, which includes games like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered to try out XeSS at launch. Intel calls the bundle for pre-built systems and laptops running its latest Arc XeSS-capable hardware the Software Advantage Program. The promotion began in August and runs through December 31. That all changed with the release of Dragon Ball FighterZ.
