The latest (and supposedly final, though we've heard that promise before) update is in the polishing stages, but the team is still taking fun Terraria 1.4.4 fan suggestions, and its latest addition offers some rather snazzy home decor potential. As lead Terraria artist Victor Moura reveals on Twitter, a much-requested update for Labor of Love will allow players to turn every type of glowing moss into special glowing moss bricks. These variously coloured neon-lit blocks will add a pleasing blast of colour to your base - whether you use them to colour coordinate your NPC housing, create stunning Terraria art, or build your very own Times Square. Re-Logic vice president Whitney 'Cenx' Spinks says that this particular update was inspired by one specific user who has long asked Re-Logic for additional neon blocks. "He is the reason we did this," Cenx notes, to which the user in question responds excitedly, "I'm freaked out, it looks fantastic!" While it may have been crafted with one player in mind, it's certainly going to be a very welcome addition for anyone looking to spice up their builds. PCGamesN Friday, September 9, 2022 8:00 AM  Developer Gameloft announces a Disney Dreamlight Valley update and free Dream Shards for players following the release of the life sim game on Steam Early Access and PC Game Pass. The update is mostly focused on addressing feedback from players to target key bugs and progression issues including missing and unreachable items, but is also set to increase the frequency with which players can earn Dream Shards. Gameloft says on its official Dreamlight Valley Twitter account that player feedback "has been immensely helpful in identifying some key issues." The team says it is "happy to report we've been able to fix some of these and have an update on the way," with a release targeted for sometime in the week beginning September 12. The update is set to include a fix for changing clothes, improve the Founder's Pack claiming process, fix the notorious 'Error 7' affecting players in Australia and New Zealand, and fix multiple quest progression bugs tied to unreachable, missing, and unrecognised items. In addition, the update is set to improve the frequency with which players can get Dream Shards, one of the game's main currencies. As a bonus reward, Gameloft says it has sent out a gift of 25 Dream Shards to all players, which can be claimed from your in-game mailbox. Gameloft notes that "Shards are essential for finishing certain quests, so we recommend holding onto spares instead of converting them to Dreamlight." In addition, Diablo Immortal Japan is holding a giveaway for a commemorative t-shirt featuring an adorable take on the Butcher, one of the most iconic foes in the RPG game series. The 'Diablo Garlic Double Cheeseburger' was initially revealed by the Burger King Japan Twitter account, which says that the promotional burger comprises (via machine translation) "two 100% beef patties grilled directly over an open flame, smoked dry flakes, a special spicy sauce, and four pieces of cheese!" The burger is available from September 9 "for a limited time only." Unfortunately for non-meat eaters, it seems that there is currently no vegan option available. In fact, the decision to review many of the games we covered this week - Railbound, Jack Move and Roadwarden - were all down to having played and liked some form of demo, making events like the Steam Next Fest an increasingly invaluable tool in helping us cut through the noise when we inevitably enter mega months like September. |

Intelligent Systems and Good Smile Company will release new figures modeled after Roy and Lilina, the hero and heroine of Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade. Pre-orders for both figures are available separately on Good Smile Company's web stores. The figures will have a scale of 1/7, and the overall height will range between 24-25 cm (9.4~9.8 inches). The pedestals will be designed in such a way that people who bought both figures will be able to line them up next to each other. The company had previously made figures of Female Byleth from Three Houses, Marth from Shadow Dragon, Lyn from The Blazing Blade, and Ike from Radiant Dawn. Good Smile Company, which has recently been producing Pop Up Parade figures of Fire Emblem: Three Houses characters, will help sell and distribute the figures. Pre-orders for both figures are available until January 18, 2023. It sells each figure separately with the same price tag of $204.99. Lilina's figure will appear first in Japan in September 2023. Roy's figure will follow the month after in October 2023. Good Smile Company will ship the figures to North America two months later than the Japanese release in November and December 2023, respectively. Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade is a Game Boy Advance strategy RPG that came out in Japan in 2002. The 2003 entry The Blazing Blade, which was also the first Fire Emblem title that Nintendo released in the West, contains a prequel story to this game. Nintendo has never released an official localization for The Binding Blade to this date, but it extensively features the title on crossover games like Fire Emblem Heroes and the Super Smash Bros. series. The Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid shoot 'em up game will make its way from consoles to PC. Bushiroad has opened a Steam page for Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid: Burst Forth!! Choro-gon Breath Director's Cut. The PC version will be available in October 2022. The PC Director's Cut edition will add new illustrations of the stage bosses made by Coolkyousinnjya, the original artist for Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid. It will also adjust the stages' difficulty levels. Players will be able to choose between the normal version that first appeared on consoles and the new Director's Cut version. The PC version's minimum requirements will consist of Intel Core i5-1035G4, Nvidia GeForce GT1030, and 8 GB of RAM. But for the best performances, Bushiroad recommends a Core i7-7700 CPU, a GeForce RTX 2080 GPU, and 16 GB of RAM. Bushiroad initially revealed Choro-gon Breath for the PS4 and Switch in September 2021. The shoot 'em up game lets players control Tohru, Elma, and Kanna. It also has multiple endings based on the player's final score. While Bushiroad published information in both Japanese and English, Aksys later announced that it handled the Western releases. It turns out that the "final" Guda Guda event wasn't so final after all. Lasengle is going back to the well of Guda Guda with a new limited-time event plumbing more of Japanese history. The Fate/Grand Order Yamataikoku event brings players back to the very first, almost mythic origins of Japan itself. Yamataikoku is the name given by Sino-Japanese historians for an ancient nation located in Wa (the Chinese name for ancient Japan), long before Japan was unified as a single country. Most historians place its existence at sometime during the late Yayoi period of Japanese history, around the 1st to 3rd century CE. Records of the country report that it was the domain of a ruling priestess named Himiko. The historical identity of Himiko and Yamataikoku is still the subject of debate among scholars today. What's not under debate is that Himiko and Yamataikoku exist in Fate/Grand Order. And now the Masters of Chaldea will need to help Himiko restore one of Japan's most ancient kingdoms, and defend it, for some reason, against none other than the Shinsengumi, the shogun's 19th-century special police. Alongside their initial announcements in its NISA 2022 Showcase stream, NIS America announced what bonuses will come with the physical Limited and Deluxe physical editions of Process of Elimination, GrimGrimoire OnceMore, and Monster Menu: The Scavenger's Cookbook.
