Less than two weeks after release, Splatoon 3 is already dealing with its share of cheaters. Namely, recent videos have shown that these cheaters are abusing the Tenta Missile and other special weapons to quickly defeat opponents and win matches. These videos have since gone viral on Japanese gaming Twitter, with many users calling for Nintendo to fix the issue. Reports of cheating within Splatoon 3 surfaced at the beginning of a three-day holiday in Japan. While there have been earlier accounts of cheating within the game, these new reports show a specific pattern in how the cheaters operate. Reports of cheating in Splatoon 3 became so widespread throughout the day, that the term チーター ("Cheater") rose to the top of Japanese Twitter trends alongside the game's title. It is still unclear whether the players are hacking the game, or exploiting an unknown bug. As the evidence is largely anecdotal, just how widespread the issue is is unclear absent confirmation from Nintendo. A viral video from Twitter user @m_xmass2000 shows one example of these cheaters in action: https://twitter.com/m_Xmas2000/status/1572998815577440256?s=20&t=Zbxy6zhQDZJKFJ7hrzeFnA Typically, the cheater in question will use the Tenta Missile to attack the opposing team. However, instead of having to wait for the special weapon meter to fill up again, the cheater is somehow able to continue launching Tenta Missiles repeatedly, with no obvious loss of special weapon energy. Opposing players must then dodge volley after volley of missiles, all while fending off other players and attempting to paint more turf. While most accounts of cheaters seem to predominantly feature the use of Tenta Missiles, other reports also seem to indicate that cheaters can use other special weapons such as Reef Slider. Similarly, cheaters will repeatedly use the Reef Slider seemingly without any cooldown to defeat opponents. Furthermore, players have urged those who have encountered these cheaters to use the in-game report function to help Nintendo ban the offending parties. Square Enix will bring out its PS4 and PS5 port of 1999's Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth later than anticipated. The company announced the delay in a tweet on the official Valkyrie Elysium account. The new release date for the PS4 and PS5 editions of Lenneth is now December 22, 2022. The delay also applies to players who pre-ordered the Digital Deluxe edition of Valkyrie Elysium on PS4/PS5, which comes with a copy of Lenneth. Those players will receive their entitled copy on December 22, 2022. Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth is itself an enhanced port of the PS1 original, originally released on the PlayStation Portable in 2006. It features an improved localization and additional CG cutscenes. Lenneth was later ported to iOS and Android devices with an adapted UI, higher-resolution character art, and "quality of life" improvements like the ability to skip cutscenes. The mobile editions also had microtransactions to unlock convenience features like automating combat. Valkyrie Elysium does not have a specific connection to Valkyrie Profile, but is part of the franchise. Rather than being an RPG, Elysium is more focused on character action, and has a different narrative than Profile or its sequels and spin-offs. Square Enix will put a whopping 385 songs in the tracklist for the base game of Theatrhythm Final Bar Line. It also plans to add more through DLC. Aside from Final Fantasy tracks, it will add pieces from other Square Enix games such as NieR, SaGa, and Chrono Cross and Trigger. RPG Site and French Final Fantasy fan site Finaland went ahead and compiled the full track list from a variety of Square Enix official sources. You can check out their sources and commentary at this link. The Digital Deluxe Version will also come with additional tracks not in the base game. A good number of these tracks appeared in previous Theatrhythm games, so veteran players may already be familiar with how to play them. Potion Permit guide – How to diagnose ailments and heal villagers Whenever a Moonbury NPC is in trouble, an alert icon flashes in the upper-right corner of your screen. You'll want to head to the clinic immediately to see what's going on. Inspect the patient on the bed and pay attention to what they're saying. They'll tell you if a certain body part hurts, which means you'll have to move your cursor there until a circular icon appears. Potion Permit guide – How to make potions and upgrade the cauldron Gathering ingredients and using the cauldron Early on in Potion Permit, you're given the tools to gather ingredients and materials (i.e., an axe for trees/wood, a mallet for rocks, and a sickle for herbs). These equipment can also be used to attack creatures, and they, too, might drop items. Nearly all of these can then be used to craft different kinds of remedies using the cauldron.
