Rock Paper Shotgun Latest Articles Feed Wednesday, November 30, 2022 5:11 PM  Need For Speed Unbound technically isn't out until December 2nd, but you can scoot in right now if you've got Game Pass and are willing to download EA's app. It's available as part of EA's Game Trials, so you'll only be able to play for 10 hours before you're kicked out, but that's time for cop chases and powerslides a-plenty. I haven't played a Need For Speed game since I was 13 and this wasn't on my radar at all, but yeah, sure, let's drive. It looks just like the games I remember but with optional silly animated wings and dust trails.

Sega planned plenty of content for Sonic Frontiers in 2023, like playable Tails, Knuckles, and Amy Rose. So far, we know that there will be three major updates, culminating in the new story and playable characters. There will also be lots of new mechanics, such as a Juke Box, Photo mode, and Open Zone Challenges. More information for everything will come out closer to the release dates. All of these updates will be free. Players will not need to purchase a DLC pack or Season Pass in order to access any of the new updates. While we do not yet know the exact dates, we do know the order that things will occur. Update 1 will bring with it the Juke Box, Photo Mode, and New Challenge Modes. Update 2 will have Sonic's Birthday, Open Zone Challenges, and a new Koco. Finally, Update 3 will add Tails, Knuckles, and Amy Rose as playable Sonic Frontiers characters, as well as the new storyline. While not DLC, the first major patch for Sonic Frontiers recently came out for PlayStation consoles. This patch fixed both major and minor bugs, including one where a boss will disappear if you retry the fight. Patch 1.10 will appear on other consoles as well. Capcom will start selling Resident Evil Village merchandise that resembles the First Aid Spray and First Aid Med from the game. The First Aid Med is actually an air freshener that you can place in your room. As for the First Aid Spray, it is just an empty spray bottle that you can fill with whatever you like. [gallery columns="1" link="file" ids="941663"] Because you can put alcohol in the spray bottle, you can put hand sanitizer in it. Its compact size is designed to make it easy to carry around. As for the First Aid Med air freshener, it is a reed diffuser. Capcom stated that you should not drink it or put it on your skin. So unless you use up the inside and then replace it with something else, you cannot pour the First Aid Med on yourself like Ethan does. Capcom has not stated what scent the First Aid Med reed diffuser has. However, it does note that it has an herbal quality. The First Aid Spray bottle costs 880 JPY, which is around $6.30. The reed diffuser costs 3,080 JPY, which is about $22.10. They are available at Capcom Stores in Japan, as well as the online Capcom store via Parco. You will be able to purchase them from December 2, 2022. Parco does offer overseas shipping. Resident Evil Village and Resident Evil Gold Edition are available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC. Nintendo released some more information on Timerra, who will be a playable character in the upcoming TRPG Fire Emblem Engage. Timerra is the crown princess of Solm, as well as the older sister of Fogato. She loves to sing and party, and there will be a cutscene in which she sings for the protagonists. https://twitter.com/FireEmblemJP/status/1597864256694677504 The Fire Emblem Japanese Twitter account shared several tweets introducing Timerra. She is bright, innocent, and cheerful. Perhaps this is the result of growing up in a country like Solm, which values and loves freedom. She will start off as a Sentinel, which uses Lance weapons. You can check out a video of Timerra in action on her character page from the official Fire Emblem Engage website. [gallery columns="1" ids="941659" link="file"] In the Japanese dub of the game, Ami Koshimizu will be Timerra's voice actress. Koshimizu previously appeared as Kallen in Code Geass, Yukiko in Persona 4, and Beidou in Genshin Impact. It is unknown at this point who will voice Timerra in the English dub of the game. Fire Emblem Engage will be the latest entry in the long-running Fire Emblem series. According to the relationship chart that Nintendo previously shared, Solm is allies with Brodia and Firene. That also makes it an enemy of Elusia by default. The last character Nintendo discussed was Ivy, the crown princess of Elusia. This beginner's guide for Need for Speed Unbound is going to focus on the general game structure, what you should focus on, and how you'll best be spending your time. You might be thinking, "it's a racer, so I'll just race." But, in reality, this is one of the most punishing arcade racers you'll come across. You can get caught in a bit of a rut for making mistakes, but you'll have a much better idea of what to do after giving this a read. When you start the story mode in Need for Speed Unbound, you'll be in an extended tutorial. Although, the game doesn't really tell you that. You'll pick one of three cars and then learn about the way the game works, but this is all plot. I spent nearly two hours trying to make as much money as I could in this prologue, only to see it all strippe... |

If you're just starting the game, it always helps to get some pointers so you don't have to waste time on fruitless pursuits. Keep these in mind and you'll be able to cut through some of the fat and get to racing your heart out. Don't sweat the prologue If you're like me, you'll take your races in the prologue after selecting your car quite seriously. After all, who doesn't want to maximize your cash as soon as possible? But there's no reason to bother with this. There's a time skip after the prologue and you end up losing each and every cent you earn, meaning that there's no reason to try and make a bunch of cash and, more so, not spend a bunch of extra time on it. PC Invasion - FeedDDD Wednesday, November 30, 2022 6:30 PM  Need for Speed Unbound has had its PC version zoomed onto Steam for anyone with early access, bringing with it lots of cops to outrun and plenty of cars to drive. As you might expect of a AAA open-world game, it can be semi-demanding if you want to run it at high framerates. I play it at 4K and 60 fps on a 3090 and get pretty consistent performance, barring some drops in certain areas. The install size also isn't bad at all, coming in at 31GB, which is a lot less than other big open-world driving games. There are some caveats, though, which you'll have to live with if you want to play on PC. Since this is an EA game, if you get it on Steam, the EA app has to be installed on your machine whether you like it or not. When you install the game, the app will appear on your desktop. The app also has to run whenever you launch the game. Granted, this probably isn't the first time any of us have had to tangle with this, but it's still annoying. Let's take a look a... |

But for those who have a desire to run a space camp of their own, Two Point Studios and Sega are prepared to launch. Two Point Campus: Space Academy, the first DLC for the game, will allow you to manage a space academy for students dreaming of becoming astronauts. But don't worry, you do actually end up breaking free of Earth's warm embrace at some point. Two Point Campus: Space Academy adds a ton of out-of-this-world content. You'll get three more campus locations to build and maintain, as well as six more student archetypes. It also comes with six space-themed courses and classrooms, such as the Command Room. The Battle Space exists to teach students the art of Star Trek-esque baton combat as well. It's hard to say if they'll fight dudes in awful lizard costumes, but extraterrestrials do apparently make an appearance in the DLC. What you may find the most interesting is ... |
