A few months breaking the BioShock series on the Steam Deck, this pernicious piece of software now appears to be a major cause of Midnight Suns' stuttering issues, while seriously hobbling performance more generally. If you're playing via Steam, I strongly suggest following the lead of the, uh, thousands of people who've discovered this before me by disabling the 2K Launcher entirely. I've just tried this out and not only did the majority of the stuttering vanish, but my average frames per second shot up by nearly 62%. 62% better performance! From nixing a launcher that serves absolutely no purpose when you're launching from Steam anyway! Madness. |

Netflix has announced the release date for Sonic Prime. It will premiere on December 15, 2022 worldwide. There will be 24 episodes in total. WildBrain, which is a studio in Vancouver, animated the series and Man of Action Entertainment (Big Hero 6, Ben 10) are both the showrunners and executive producers. Sonic Prime will have 3D animation, similar to its predecessor Sonic Boom. News of the show first leaked in December 2020, but Sega officially confirmed it in February 2021. According to Netflix, it will be a "high octane adventure" in which Sonic accidentally flies through dimensions following a battle with Eggman. He meets alternate versions of his friends, but they don't recognize him. Sonic, with the help of his parallel companions, must fight to prevent an evil council from taking over the Shatterspaces and find a way home. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cfbVUOyVeY0 Netflix and Sega released bits and pieces of information since the official announcement of the show. In September 2022, a new trailer came out showing off Sonic fighting against Shadow and Eggman (on two separate occasions). We also know the main cast for the English version. Roger Craig Smith will no longer voice the blue blur, and instead, Deven Christian Mack will. Mack previously voiced Vangelis on Ninjago and Chuck on Angry Birds: Summer Madness. The live-action adaptation of My Hero Academia will appear on Netflix. It is unknown when exactly it will be available on the streaming service. The movie is still in development, and there is not even a cast list yet. Legendary Entertainment's Mary Parent and Alex Garcia will produce it. [Thanks, Variety!] So far, there is an established line-up of staff working on the Netflix My Hero Academia live-action movie. Shinsuke Sato will be the director and executive producer. He previously worked on Alice in Borderland. This is also the first English movie in his career. Joby Harold of Obi-Wan Kenobi worked on the screenplay. My Hero Academia is the latest in a beloved anime, manga, or video game franchises appearing in live-action format. Just within the year, we saw companies working on the live-action versions of Yu Yu Hakusho, Death Note, and Golden Kamuy. In fact, Yu Yu Hakusho and Death Note will also appear on Netflix. Time will tell if the live-action Golden Kamuy will make it onto the streaming service. My Hero Academia is a wildly popular superhero manga and anime series that started serialization in 2014. It follows Izuku "Deku" Midoriya, who lives in a world where everyone has a Quirk (or superpower) and some people make a career out of it as superheroes. He loves superheroes but unfortunately, he does not have a Quirk. One day, he meets his hero All Might, who is the greatest superhero in the world, and All Might bestows upon Midoriya his One For All Quirk. With his new power, Midoriya starts attending U.A. High School in hopes of becoming a superhero. The My Hero Academia live-action movie is in development and will appear on Netflix. Since Witch on the Holy Night came out on December 8, 2022, it has sold over 110,000 units worldwide. This includes both physical and digital versions. It also takes into account sales from the PS4 and the Nintendo Switch. This game is the enhanced remaster version of the original 2012 visual novel. [Thanks, 4Gamer!] There is no information as to what percentage of sales came from those who played the game previously, are Nasuverse fans who never experienced Witch on the Holy Night, or are completely new to the concept of the Nasuverse. For reference, the Nasuverse refers to Type-Moon games that all share the same setting. This includes Witch on the Holy Night, the Fate series, Kara no Kyoukai, Tsuki no Sango, Notes, and Tsukihime. Witch on the Holy Night is the foundation of the Nasuverse, as the first work that Kinoko Nasu wrote for it. The enhanced 2022 version of the game has full voice acting, as well as updated graphics. In general, it plays exactly the same as the 2012 PC game though. It follows the story of Aoko Aozaki, a mage who lives in a mansion with the Witch, Alice Kuonji. One day, transfer student Sizuki Soujyuro stumbles upon them using magic and though they attempt to silence him, he ends up living in their house with them. Witch on the Holy Night is available digitally on the Nintendo Switch and the PS4. The physical edition of the game will come out in the west on January 27, 2023. Square Enix released some information on characters like Clive Rosfield, Jill Warrick, Cidolfus "Cid" Telamon, and Torgal, who will all appear in FFXVI. Clive will be the main protagonist of the game, while Jill is Shiva's Dominant. Meanwhile, Cidolfus is FFXVI version of the Final Fantasy legacy character Cid. Clive Rosfield is the son of the Archduke of Rosaria, but he did not become the Dominant of the Eikon Phoenix. Instead, his brother Joshua became the Dominant. So Clive chose to focus his attention on swordplay instead. He is now the First Shield of Rosaria and his job is to protect the Phoenix. Unfortunately, this all comes crumbling down due tot he machinations of the Eikon Ifrit. He has a wolf named Torgal, though Clive has to reunite with Torgal in the course of the game. [gallery columns="2" link="file" ids="943168,943167"] When Jill was a little girl in FFXVI, she joined the Rosfield household in Rosaria after someone took her from her homeland. She woke to the power of Shiva during the aforementioned Ifrit tragedy. Because of her childhood with Clive and Joshua, the three of them are like family. Finally, Cidolfus Telamon is the Dominant of Ramuh, and characters refer to him as Cid in FFXVI. He used to be a soldier, but he is also a scientist. Cid wants to create a place for Bearers and Dominants to die as they wish. He will have a subplot with Benedikta Harman, who is the Dominant of the Eikon Garuda. You could see Clive and Joshua when they were children, as well as Torgal when he was a puppy. Square Enix also showed art of Jill when she was a child. People might be wondering how to evolve Finizen into Palafin in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, as it uses an unusual method. You can't just get the new character upon leveling up. Instead, you need to get together in a multiplayer session to trigger the Finizen evolution. How to Find Finizen in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.It's pretty easy to find Finizen! I encountered mine in the water off of Levincia, where the electric-type gym is. Though I also saw some around Porto Marinada in the ocean. You can also encounter Finizen in three-star Tera Raids.
How to Evolve Finizen into Palafin in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.The whole evolution gimmick with Finizen is that Palafin can change form into a Hero form to aid allies. To tie into that, you can't evolve Finizen into Palafin unless you join a Union Circle with other players. If you do, then as long as one other person is around, Finizen can evolve at or after level 38. You can also catch Palafin in Tera Raids, in case you can't get someone to join you in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The character can show up in five-star ones.
