Cities: Skylines devs say there was no Workshop mod malware

Over the weekend, controversy arose in the Cities: Skylines modding community as a number of mods were removed from the Steam Workshop. Some of these mods included features that could make you vulnerable to malware. However, a new update from the game's developers asserts that none of the affected mods contained malware directly.

"No keyloggers, viruses, bitcoin mining software, or similar has been found in mods on the Steam Workshop," as the devs explain in a news post. Two mods have been banned: Network Extensions 3 and Update from Github. A third mod, Harmony (Redesigned), was named as part of the controversy, but had not been updated since March 2021, and the devs say "further updates to this workshop item are not possible as the account is banned and contributors are unable to update workshop items."

Network Extensions 3 "blocked a short list of Steam users from using the mod, but this was later changed to cause what appeared to be buggy gameplay". Targeting specific Steam users in that way is against the platform's subscriber agreement, and the mod was banned on that ground.

Naraka: Bladepoint goes free-to-play for the weekend

If you're the type to watch the Steam charts - there are people outside of game journalism who do that, right? - you've probably seen Naraka: Bladepoint making regular appearances among the platform's most-played games. If you want to know what the fuss is about, you're about to have your chance, as the game's getting a free-to-play weekend following the launch of the latest season.

The Naraka: Bladepoint free weekend begins on Friday, February 18 and lasts until Tuesday, February 22. From the start of the promotion until February 25, you'll also be able to pick up the game at a 30% discount off its usual $19.99 / £17.99 / €19.99 price tag.

The new season, Echelon, kicked off on February 13, and precedes the launch of a new hero named Justina Gu. The devs have also recently implemented a ranked duo mode, as well as a major update to the Souljade system.

Now they've announced yet another major patch on the way.

A reveal video from YouTuber Chippy confirms that the new update will be focused primarily on balance changes, not new content - though a few surprise new items are planned for the release.

Rainbow Six Siege Y7S1 teaser reveals an operator with kunai

This week is going to bring us the full reveal of the next season for Rainbow Six Siege, and as always, Ubisoft is dropping teasers leading up to the full reveal. We're starting with what looks to be a glimpse of the new Rainbow Six Siege operator, dressed in a suit and holding a kunai - which, of course, seems to match up with the early leaks for Year 7 Season 1.

"A blade can sever and stick and scar," Ubisoft says in the tweet. "A knife can cut or crease or create. Don't the simplest tools have the most imaginative uses?" The full reveal will land on Saturday, February 19 on the official Rainbow Six Twitch channel, and until then we can expect a further trickle of details.

A Japanese operator equipped with kunai has been the subject of leaks for months, so it's looking likely that the early details are going to pan out. According to those leaks, the new operator will be called Asami, and will have a gadget that can counter breachers. Leaks also suggest that the new season will be called Demon Veil.

Stardew Valley drops the quiet life with a stock trading mod

Stardew Valley is a tranquil game about escaping the capitalist trappings of the city to tend to a quaint, worn-down farm. It's only natural, then, that someone has created a mod that sends the grind of the stock market straight to your quiet crop of land. Wait.

Dhamos' Financial Call Centre mod allows you to contact Zuzu City to buy several different types of stock, such as governmental, domestic, and, uh, crypto. Once you have the mod downloaded, simply head to Joja Mart, select your desired stock, and pick up a Stock Call. After that, all you have to do is find a safe place to stick your new phone and hustle with your stock. Once a few days have passed, you'll have your profits. To the moon!

Governmental stocks are your safest bet as they have an 18% profit margin with no chance of a financial loss. On the other end of the spectrum, though, is crypto stock. Dhamos describes this one as the option for those who "have money, but want more money". There's a 0.5% chance of you becoming a multi-millionaire with this one.

Warzone Season 2 adds chemical weapons labs and NPC enemies

Following a minor delay, Call of Duty: Warzone has kicked off its second season. The battle royale game has gotten a substantial update to change things up for season two, with new places to explore on Caldera, new modes to try, and a new kind of plane in which to take to the unfriendly skies.

The Season Two patch also adds a new threat to the map in the form of NPC enemies. Soldiers now guard the entrances to some of the new locations on Caldera. The power plant has been replaced with a chemical factory, and there are guard towers on the perimeter staffed by unfriendly AI soldiers. These also are posted up near the entrances to some new underground chemical weapons research labs, where you'll find things like gas masks and the new Nebula V ammo - these rounds can take down enemies, and will leave a cloud of poison gas behind when they do.

The new vehicle is a bomber plane, which does just what it says on the tin. If you can find a bomber, you'll be able to take out enemy infantry and vehicles with impunity, and even destroy loadout drops.

The best Lost Ark Bard build

Looking for the best Bard build in Lost Ark? Among the 15 Lost Ark classes available, the Bard might be the most underestimated. However, once players understand what should be prioritised while dealing with PvP and PvE contents, the Bard's importance in the current meta becomes clear.

The Bard is an easy class to learn; it absorbs a lot of damage but isn't a huge damage dealer itself. However, after some quick leveling in Lost Ark, Bards are capable of using their skills to control large groups of enemies, keeping them at a distance or stunned so your teammates can swoop in for kill. Although the Bard is a fragile class as it can't protect itself, most of its skills help you to escape enemies. Then, Bards become a kiting machine.

Since Bards are a support class, you are supposed to keep a safe distance from enemies as much as you can. When playing as a Bard, your job is not to cause massive amounts of damage to enemies, but instead to control them by creating the openings that your group needs.

Skateboard games: the best on PC 2022

Finding the best skateboard games on PC is no mean feat as the genre enjoyed its heyday during the PS2 and Xbox 360 console generation. Don't feel like you're in too deep, though, as plenty of these gems are on PC, too. They're just not on Steam as they came out when physical copies were all the rage. There's a memory to make you ask 'what's my age, again?'

Nothing quite captures a moment in time like a good skateboarding game. The mixture of balance and aggression in grinding a rail and the graceful swagger of transitioning into a manual with a kickflip thrown in for good measure. All that, naturally, backed by an energetic soundtrack that seamlessly switches from thrash metal belters and pop punk fare to classic West Coast hip hop - the best skateboarding games ooze with style.

We're not just reminiscing about old games here either, as we've also included a number of new and upcoming skateboard games that you may not have heard of. Here are some of the best skateboard games on PC.

     Cyberpunk 2077 devs detail a

Cyberpunk 2077 launched over a year ago, and while developer CD Projekt Red provided a big pile of free patches and improvements over the course of 2021, there are still some key updates set for a mysterious point in the future. Today, the devs have announced a stream all about the RPG game this week, which is likely to reveal what we can expect from the Cyberpunk 2077 roadmap in 2022.

The stream will begin on Tuesday, February 15 at 7am PST / 10am EST / 3pm GMT on the official CD Projekt Red Twitch channel. "So, choom, how 'bout a date?" the devs ask in an announcement on social media. "We'll talk things, y'know. You're in? Preem!"

This event is branded as 'REDStreams #2'. The previous REDStream was a roughly one-hour presentation from a handful of developers breaking down the details of the then-upcoming 1.3 patch, so it's safe to expect a similar format here.

Cyberpunk 2077 modder adds police chases, vehicle combat

As with many games, Cyberpunk 2077 saw plenty of ideas left on the cutting room floor throughout its development. Wall-running was once included in the game, and plenty have speculated that we could have used the metro at one point as a fast travel system. While CD Projekt Red had also previously confirmed that police chases were dropped due to time and technical limitations, a modder has now brought them back.

Scissors' Vehicle Combat mod allows you to use your weapons while driving about and tinkers with the police system to create frequent car chases with law enforcements and local gangs. What's the use of creating a stir if no one is going to tootle along to try and stop you?

The modder explains that there was some functionality in the game's code to allow the use of weapons while driving, though it was disabled. Thanks to the power of modding, though, that functionality has largely been restored in the mod. You can now equip and use ranged and melee weapons or use an inhaler or injector while driving to give yourself a health boost.

Total Warhammer 3 reviews – our roundup of the critics' scores

The Total Warhammer 3 release date is fast approaching and, ahead of its arrival, the reviews are beginning to pour in like daemonic Nurgle slime. With the strategy game due to drop later this week, now's a great time to see what the critics have made of it to see if it'll be worth your hard-earned groats - so, let's find out what they've been saying.

First up, is PCGamesN's own Total War: Warhammer 3 review. Editor Rich Scott-Jones scores it a hearty nine out of ten, calling it a "triumphant step forward for Total War on almost every front, boasting not just the best and most diverse single-player campaigns ever, but a revolution in multiplayer, too". He notes that the "ambition and the attention to detail is palpable with every click, and proof that Warhammer has surpassed history to become Creative Assembly's premier product". So, high praise indeed.

Scores tell the same story pretty much across the board, with plenty of reviews putting Creative Assembly's latest near the top of the scale. The game is currently sat at 88 and 87 on review aggregate sites Opencritic and Metacritic, respectively.

The Yakuza games are some of the best story-based games around so expect something similar from Nagoshi Studios. The studio has also shared that its first game will attempt to "reach a global audience" outside of Japan.

Just last year, Yakuza series director Toshihiro Nagoshi confirmed that he was leaving SEGA to start his own studio, despite being with the publisher for over 30 years. While the new Nagoshi Studios hasn't yet revealed its first title, a new interview with IGN makes it sound like it will be another story-focused RPG in a similar style to the Yakuza games. "You won't find us making, like, smartphone puzzle games or whatever," Nagoshi confirms.

"We are influenced by movies and are interested in creating games that offer a high level of human drama," Nagoshi explains. "I hope to create games in that vein that can reach a global audience."

How to unlock Lost Ark's frame rate on AMD and Nvidia GPUs

The Lost Ark system requirements are so low that just about anyone can jump into the new MMORPG that's taking the scene by storm. However, those with powerful PCs armed with the best gaming CPUs and best graphics cards may find the game's performance lacking. Thankfully, this can be easily resolved with a few easy tweaks, that can result in a more responsive experience for both PvE and PvP.

Developer Smilegate RPG has seemingly decided to tie Lost Ark's frame rate to the refresh rate of your gaming monitor, with no means of controlling or disabling this in the game's settings menu. Unfortunately, this means your fps may be substantially lower than what your gaming PC is capable of outputting.

Fortunately, there are ways to boost fps and unlock the game's frame rate if you have a system that's up to the task. These methods, as identified by SapphireTechnology, differ slightly between AMD and Nvidia graphics cards, so make sure you check what GPU you have in your rig before reading further.

Total War: Warhammer 3 review – triumphant strategy trilogy

My Daemon Prince, Egrimm, crosses into the Realm of Chaos, and I'm feeling confident; I'm the first contender in this cosmic game show to enter Tzeentch's fun house. But then, a twist: having arrived several turns after me, Skarbrand walks into a portal that sends him directly to the final round, where a daemon soul awaits in the Impossible Fortress, but only for one claimant. The rest of us will leave with nothing.

The portal was unfixed, its path random, and so his success is blind luck. Having worked to uncover the path the proper way, I'm now a turn behind him, able to catch up but not overtake. My only option is to take him out of the game by force, so I break our non-aggression pact and attack. I get the soul, but Skarbrand - 'roid rage in daemon form - bears a grudge for the rest of the campaign. He becomes a constant menace on the icy northern shores of my empire, until I bribe N'Kari into distracting him for me.

It's not exactly an emergent story, but it's certainly an anecdote. Warhammer fans may get an extra kick out of it as it's lore-authentic: the forces of Chaos working together until pride and jealousy - mine, in this case - intervenes to stop the ascent of a rival. This is what Total War: Warhammer III's new Realm of Chaos campaign delivers - and you can pre-order it here, coincidentally.

Looks like Rust is getting pets

Pets make all games better, no exceptions. Just think of Fallout 4's Dogmeat, Skyrim's Meeko, or Fable 2's own canine companion (yes, I know, that's Xbox-only, but still) and tell me each of those adventurers would have had half the experience without their trusty puppers by their sides. While Rust is a bit of a different kettle of fish to those RPGs, there's no reason to think pets wouldn't make the game that bit fuller - and it sounds like they are indeed coming to Facepunch's survival sandbox.

Trusty Rust YouTuber Shadowfrax has shared another update on what's going on - or rather, what seems to be going on - in the world of Rust. In the clip below, 'frax explains that in scanning the game's commits log, he's spotted an exciting hint suggesting that pets could potentially be in progress for the game. The video notes that there's a new branch called 'pets' and highlights an entry in the log (currently found on page four as of writing) that notes a "bunch of initial pet system refactoring work". Hmm.

The YouTuber indicates that the new pet system could build on the one Facepunch introduced in last year's Halloween update for Frankenstein's monster. This fella would "follow you around the map, defend you if attacked, and help slay foes you wish to attack", so it sounds like the pet system could follow a similar blueprint.

Capcom is teasing something mysterious for this weekend

A mysterious Capcom countdown website has launched, which seems to be teasing some sort of announcement for this weekend, February 20/21. Fans are already speculating everything from Resident Evil Village DLC to Street Fighter 6 - and there's a little evidence both ways.

Resident Evil Village is one of the best horror games around and Capcom has previously promised that DLC is in the works for one of 2021's best games - and some of it will be free, apparently. Other than the grey and white colour scheme and sharp font evoking Resident Evil, the bottom of the countdown page shows a snowy ground texture similar to the start of Village.

It's also possible that this timer is for the reveal of Street Fighter 6 or something Street Fighter-related, as the timer ends this weekend - exactly when Street Fighter V Pro Tour 2022 is due to take place. Capcom confirmed in November that Luke would be Street Fighter V's final DLC character, so now he's out the path is clear for a Street Fighter 6 announcement.

The best parkour games on PC

Looking for the parkour games on PC? Walls suck. Sorry, we said it, walls are the worst. We would far prefer a world where we could just walk straight to our destination without having to navigate around buildings and houses - yuck. There are plenty of action-adventure games that agree with us too you know? Many games these days allow us to traverse the world by scaling sheds, clambering over condos, and aggressively ascending architecture whenever it dares to get in our way. Frankly, that's the way we want to live.

Well, why don't we go out and do that in the real world instead of virtually? Well, in case you didn't know, grazing your knees really hurts. Also, we quite like our ankles un-shattered and shoulders firmly in their sockets. That's why we allow some gaming daredevils to do all the parkour for us.

Freerunning across a map, soaring over those darn walls feels, and throwing in some neat-looking twirls and flips in a virtual space is what we're all about. So, we're here to highlight some of the best parkour games you can play, if you hate walls and like your ankles as much as we do.

New MMORPGs 2022: new and upcoming MMOs worth playing

Once rare like a legendary loot drop, new MMOs are now more common than ever. New MMORPGs are full of potential, but they're also precariously close to failure – history is littered with MMOs that have had their moment in the spotlight or never garnered the attention they deserved.

In the interest of saving you hours spent in character creation for a game you might not even like, we have compiled a handy list of all the new MMOs that are worth your time. But we have also gone one step further: as the worlds of MMORPGs are ever-changing, we have included games with recent updates, new content drops, and the like, plus new massively multiplayer online games with RPG elements. So, from newly updated sword-and-sorcery classics to emerging action-RPGs, these are the new MMOs you should be paying attention to.

Total War: Warhammer 3 is an extremely hard game to review in isolation. It's utterly massive in itself, with eight hulking single player campaigns at launch, not to mention a greatly expanded range of multiplayer and PvE skirmish options. But that's just the start of it. For indeed, just like beloved Warhammer villain Ebeneezer Scrooge, any attempt to form an opinion on this game has to contend not just with the present, but with the bedevilments of its past and future to boot.

While it is very much a game you can buy and enjoy on its lonesome, TWW3 is perhaps better considered as the last, grand instalment of a game whose release began nearly eight years ago with Total War: Warhammer. It's a genuinely epic construction; a proper Pillars-Of-The Earth-level feat of game development. And here's where the future sticks the boot in. Because while the last stones of this electric cathedral have been lowered into place, the phone line to God hasn't been wired in yet.

Learn More About the 3 Kingdoms and Characters in Triangle Strategy

There's more news about Triangle Strategy, with the latest insights offering details about the kingdoms in the game. Major allies and enemies all come from these three regions of Norzelia. The new details go over what each area is known for.

First is the Kingdom of Glenbrook. It is home to many of the lead characters in Triangle Strategy, as Serenoa Wolffort's House Wolffort calls the area home. So do members of House Falkes and House Telliore.

Next is the Grand Duchy of Aesfrost. It is home to the Aesfrost family, which consists of Archduke Gustadolph and his family. This includes Frederica, who is Serenoa's fiance.

Finally, the last of the Triangle Strategy kingdoms is the Holy State of Hyzante, which is home to the Saintly Seven characters.

In the meantime, people can see some of the new Triangle Strategy characters and story themselves. During the February 2022 Nintendo Direct, Square Enix revealed a new demo. This trial covers the first three chapters of the game. Once someone completes it, they can carry their data over to the full version.

Triangle Strategy will come to the Nintendo Switch on March 4, 2022.

SNK Says Metal Slug: Awakening PS4 and PS5 Announcement is Fake

SNK took to Twitter to alert people that news about an alleged Metal Slug: Awakening PS4 and PS5 game is fake. It offered the clarification after some thought the false announcement is real. The actual Metal Slug: Awakening — known at one point as Metal Slug Code: J — is an Android and Apple iOS game.

Here is the alert.

Metal Slug: Awakening is a run-and-gun game by Tencent Games' Timi Studio. (That's the developer behind Pokemon Unite and the Japan-only Saint Seiya: Awakening.) The initial announcements noted that characters like Eri Kasamoto, Fio Germi, Marco Rossi, and Tarma Roving will return. In May 2021, SNK shared an updated trailer looking at beta footage for the game.

This isn't the only Metal Slug game on the way in the near future. Metal Slug Tactics is also in development. That offers a more strategic approach and is expected to appear on the Nintendo Switch and PC in 2022.

The Metal Slug: Awakening is coming to Android and Apple iOS devices, not the PS4 and PS5. Its Chinese website is open.

Durandal Palatinus Equinox Battlesuit's Guardian and Knight Forms Detailed

The Honkai Impact 3rd Durandal Palatinus Equinox IMG-type battlesuit is a unique one, as players can switch it between two forms. Each one has its own specialty. The Guardian form is more defensive, while Knight can be more offensive. MiHoYo's latest update detailed what people can expect from its moveset. It also mentioned what the Blade Durandal ELF can do.

Editor's Note: MiHoYo's original article and one of the Palatinus Equinox's moves involve spoilers for Honkai Impact 3rd.

The Palatinus Equinox moveset varies depending on if Durandal is a Guardian or Knight. If she is in her Guardian form, she can use her basic Immortal Kaslana attack, charged Equinox Severance attack, or could dodge with her Duality of Antimony evasion. These deal physical DMG. In the case of both attacks, equipping Midnight Eclipse or Midnight Ataegina also gives her the ability to fire a cannon.

Should Knight form be engaged, Durandal will ride on Krishna. The Duality of Antinomy evasion skill will change and involve her riding away. Enemies are thrown if she uses a weapon skill. She also gains the special attack Glorious Schariac. Her Ultimate is Equinox March.

As for the Blade Durandal ELF, she's designed to aid in physical DMG output. Her basic attack is Viva La Girls and does physical DMG. Her Ultimate is Immortal Blade and deals AOE damage while also making enemies it hits take more physical DMG from other characters.

Honkai Impact 3rd is available on the PC and mobile devices. Its 5.5 update will appear on February 24, 2022.

Shin Japan Heroes Universe

What do Godzilla, Ultraman, Kamen Rider, and Evangelion's Unit-01 have in common? They've all have had projects in their name helmed by Evangelion creator Hideaki Anno. Those might be the key factors in a new initiative called Shin Japan Heroes Universe, which may be aiming to unite the four under one banner.

The project was teased by the official Shin Kamen Rider social media account.

https://twitter.com/Shin_KR/status/1493057409337622529

The account shows off some art of Kamen Rider, Ultraman, Unit-01, and Godzilla standing in formation, along with a logo bearing their likenesses. The Shin Japan Heroes Universe will be a "collaboration project" between Shin Godzilla, Shin Kamen Rider, Shin Ultraman, and Rebuild of Evangelion (whose Japanese title is Shin Evangelion). Though the tweet encouraged those interested to wait for new information, an official website opened up that hint at what's to come.

The site describes Shin Japan Heroes Universe as a "miraculous project" uniting the four works. It was launched by agreement between Toho, Studio Khara, Tsuburaya Productions, and Toei. The art shown off in the tweet was created by artist Mahiro Maeda. After spending his early career at Studio Ghibli, Maeda became major contributor to the works of anime studio Gonzo, helping create shows like Blue Submarine No. 6 and Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo. He helped design angels and work on Evangelion 3.0 and 3.0+1.0: Thrice Upon A Time. The Shin Japan Heroes Universe logo was designed by Yutaka Izubuchi, an artist and designer with credits on works like Ergo Proxy, Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket, and Mobile Police Patlabor. He also designed the new logo of the SEELE organization in Rebuild of Evangelion. Both artists will be heavily involved with whatever the project comes up with.

Shin Japan Heroes Universe is in development. Shin Godzilla is available on streaming services and via retail, while Evangelion 3.0+1.0 is available on Amazon Prime VideoShin Ultraman releases in Japan on May 13, 2022, while Shin Kamen Rider is dated for March 2023.

Here's How to Unlock the New Yae Miko and Raiden Shogun Story Quests

The 2.5 update is about to come to Genshin Impact, and it will bring the chapter one Yae Miko story quest and Raiden Shogun's story quest second act with it. To help people prepare, miHoYo explained how to unlock each one of them. While both will require one story key, as is typical, there are additional prerequisites for taking part in each one.

Let's start with the Raiden Shogun Imperatrix Umbrosa Chapter story quest act 2 details, since it is part of the prerequisites for Yae Miko's. People need to complete the Inazuma Archon Quests, which end with Chapter 2 Act 3: Omnipresence Over Mortals. (You need to be at Adventure Rank 30 to unlock that.) In addition, you need to have hit AR 40 and gone through the Imperatrix Umbrosa's first act.

As for Yae Moko's Divina Vulpes Chapter act one, it can only be viewed after Raiden Shogun's story's second act. Which means it also requires AR 40 and the Inazuma Archon questline to be finished.

Genshin Impact is available for the PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices. It will come to the Nintendo Switch sometime in the future. The 2.5 update will arrive on February 16, 2022, alongside the new Yae Miko banner and story quest and next act of the Raiden Shogun story questline.

Tales of Eternia Reid Herschel will appear in Chain Chronicle

Sega's ongoing Japanese mobile game Chain Chronicle will receive guest characters from Bandai Namco's Tales of series. The company has set up a new webpage dedicated to the crossover event.

The Chain Chronicle collaboration event will add multiple characters from the Tales of series. Reid Herschel, the protagonist of the 2000 title Tales of Eternia, was the first character announced for this crossover. Reid's original Japanese voice actor Akira Ishida will reprise the role. Sega will reveal more characters coming from the franchise in due time.

Chain Chronicle is a mobile RPG with a tower defense-styled gameplay system. Other than Tales of, the game had also received guest characters from various franchises, including the Atelier series. A western release of the title appeared in December 2014. However, it later shut down shortly after a year in February 2016.

Meanwhile, the game remains active in Japan for more than eight years since it first released in 2013. The latest major update, which rebranded the title into the fourth chapter, came out in 2020. Even though Sega revealed a new mobile game titled Sin Chronicle in October 2021, the long-running Chain Chronicle still has not shown any signs of shutting down.

Chain Chronicle is immediately available for Android and iOS mobile devices in Japan.

Although she tested negative on February 13, 2022, a new test taken the day after resulted in a positive case.

The VTuber had been preparing to move into a new residence. In her statement, Kanata claimed that the only close contact at risk was her roommate. She kept a distance from staff members that helped her move, in accordance with the social distancing rules. Kanata also assured fans that she had not come into contact with other Hololive VTubers within two days before she started having symptoms.

Amane Kanata published a new video explaining her positive COVID-19 case:

A new wave of COVID-19 infections surged in Japan in early 2022. It affected many Japanese celebrities, including voice actors like Tetsuya Kakihara, Kotori Koiwai, Hiro Shimono, and Sho Hayami. On February 4, 2022, Cover announced that Hanasaki Miyabi — a member of its male VTuber group Holostars — also tested positive for COVID-19.

Due to the positive COVID-19 case, Amane Kanata will have to comply with instructions from the Japanese health care center. She will focus on recovery until at least February 23, 2022.

Voice of Cards The Forsaken Maiden High Speed Collaboration Skills

Square Enix released new details regarding Voice of Cards: The Forsaken Maiden. This includes a break down of some features that will be available in the card game. Voice of Cards: The Forsaken Maiden will have a high speed function that will increase how quickly the player can progress. It won't apply to all aspects of the game, though. The settings for the high speed function in Voice of Cards: The Forsaken Maiden can also be tweaked slightly through the menu. Additionally, the game will feature collaboration skills, character card stories, and enemy card stories. [Thanks, Gamer!]

In regards to the high speed function, players can choose how to activate it, but there is little else you will be able to customize regarding this feature. As for other elements of the game, collaboration skills will be available. Each shrine maiden and their servant can use a unique collaboration skills. Different skills will activate depending on whether or not the servant or maiden is using the skill.

Additionally, players will be able to unlock character and enemy card stories. The mechanic is fairly straightforward. These individual stories will unlock by progressing in the game or fighting enemies.

Voice of Cards: The Forsaken Maiden will release digitally for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC through Steam on February 17, 2022.

Babylon's Fall Demo

A Babylon's Fall demo will release on February 25, 2022, and it will allow players to carry over their data into the full version of the game. During the demo, players will be able to play the introduction of the game. However, the Babylon's Fall demo will only be available for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions of the game. Square Enix also confirmed that the PlayStation 4 version of the game will be playable on the PlayStation 5 through backwards compatibility. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]

The developers also revealed that the number of participants present during a quest will determine its difficulty. This means players can potentially play the entire game by themselves. Additionally, players will be able to skip cutscenes in multiplayer. However, the cutscene will only skip if every person within the party agrees to skip it. The developers also stated that players will not be able to change the name of their account at any point.

Additionally, while paid currency will be available, the developers have no intention to sell more powerful equipment through paid currency. The paid currency will strictly be used to obtain cosmetic items, emotes, and to purchase the premium version of the battle pass.

Babylon's Fall will release for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC on March 3, 2022. Those who pre-order the Digital Deluxe edition will receive early access to the game on February 28, 2022. The Babylon's Fall demo will be available on February 25, 2022 and include a carry over feature.

Goldeneye 007 Remaster Rumor LeakThe rumor mill has been churning with talks of a possible GoldenEye 007 remaster being on the horizon. A remaster of the Nintendo 64 classic first came to our attention after a full Xbox achievements list for it was spotted. Just over a month later, and more details have surfaced, suggesting that an official announcement could be on its way. During an episode of Giant Bomb's GrubbSnax, VentureBeat journalist Jeff Grubb provided some insight. According to Grubb, Microsoft will likely make an official announcement  in the "next couple of weeks."   It's not just one source that seems to think that a GoldenEye 007 remaster is coming soon either. One unnamed source via VGC confirmed that Grubb's comments matched what they had been told. Given that two separate sources are on the same page, a remaster may very well be in development. Although, neither are official sources, so fans should temper their expectations for the time being. After all, this isn&#...

Cyberpunk 2077 news update livestreamIt's been five months to the day that we last got an update for CD Projekt RED's divisive Cyberpunk 2077. And it wasn't even all that major. The last announcement to come from the developer occurred in October 2021, where we were told not to expect an update for some time. Well, CD Projekt RED wasn't kidding. However, it looks like we've reached the end of the hiatus. A Cyberpunk 2077 news update is coming in hot tomorrow via livestream, and no, we don't know what it entails. The livestream will take place tomorrow on the developer's Twitch page. Details are sparse, but we've been assured the developer is there to "talk things, y'know." Preem? Yes, preem. It cracks off at 10 AM ET, so prepare for excitement, or disappointment, or maybe both. I'm sure it'll be preem either way.   While one certainly hopes the Cyberpunk 2077 livestream unveils more updates, you have to wonder about the DLC. Outside of s...

Infernax Review 7Games usually don't ape Castlevania 2. Despite being the first literal example of the "Metroidvania" (i.e. the Metroid-inspired Castlevania games to purists as opposed to the "any game that has item and ability gating" that non-purists constantly refer to), folks tend to shy away from paying tribute to the troubled milestone game. Infernax goes all in, doing its best to evoke that game's design and structure, although it's honestly a better game by a fair margin. It doesn't take long to beat, but it has a surprising amount of replay value, a good amount of depth, and plenty of entertaining gameplay. It has its frustrations, but Infernax is something fans of '80s action platformers simply need to play. Infernax drops you into the shoes of the Duke of Upel, Alcedor, who sets out to the region after it's been assaulted by a wave of demonic undead, courtesy of a rampaging cult. An ominous cathedral lies in wait, locked by five ...

Lost Ark Terpeion mount new europe regionOn February 11, Lost Ark launched across the Western world. Millions of people flocked to the new isometric MMORPG with the concurrent player count reaching comfortably over 1 million players. But with such success, Smilegate RPG and Amazon Games were also hit with complaints about long queue times and server issues. The studios have already opened numerous additional servers, and gifted Founder's Pack owners duplicate items. Now, Lost Ark is getting an entirely new European region, and all players will receive a selection of in-game items as a thank you for supporting the game. There is no timeline indicating when the new region will go live. But Smilegate and Amazon say they are working on it. From that, I would assume it won't be more than a few days. That would be too hard on the workers.   In the announcement of the new region, Smilegate and Amazon suggest the new region will be for new players who have not yet begun their journey into Arkesia. However, if you are already ...

Warzone Pacific best Klauser PistolThe first season of Call of Duty: Vanguard saw the roll out of Warzone Pacific. As the weapon pool grew larger, there is now more choice than ever to take to the battlefield. At the moment, pistols are not exactly at the top of everybody's list. Players are choosing submachine guns instead, but there are some pistols that may change your mind. Akimbo options such as the Top Break come out on top of the pistol category. However, this guide will help you build a Klauser class that should be a good contender in Warzone Pacific. Already, the Klauser has a strong amount of mobility to its name. However, it does have some recoil. But this can be dealt with by using a combination of attachments. Therefore, this class will focus on making the pistol as accurate as possible. As a result, if you choose to get Ghost from your first loadout, you will have a handy pistol that you can rely on.   Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific best Klauser class Muzzle: M1929 Silencer Barrel: Fitzherber...
