Server instability, DDoS attacks, and numerous glitches have caused disruption among the playerbase, leading to Blizzard offering an Overwatch 2 compensation package. On the other hand, the team reports that it's very happy with the current state of Overwatch 2 balance at launch. Recently, the developer put out a social media post asking Diablo Immortal players to be nice and not go AFK (away from keyboard, a popular term for being inactive), but now it appears to actually be taking action. Following the Diablo Immortal Halloween update, players began to notice that they are receiving warnings if they stand still for too long during Battlegrounds matches. Aniplex has uploaded a new trailer for the upcoming NieR Automata anime, focusing on the Bunker this time. Previously, it highlighted how 2B and 9S would appear in their animated debut. The Bunker trailer focuses mostly on the Commander, with Chiaki Kano reprising her role. Though they do not appear in the trailer, itself, the cast list does include Operators 6O and 21O. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9p26isMDvuM The official website for the anime was also updated with some art featuring the Commander and some Operators. [gallery columns="1" ids="937361" link="file"] Keiko Isobe will return as Operator 6O, and Meari Hatsumi will also reprise her role as Operator 21O. Operators 6O and 21O may be in the promotional art of the Bunker units, standing next to the Commander. However, since there are so many similar Operator units from the game, it is difficult to say for sure. In a conversation with anime director Ryouji Masuyama, and game director/writer Yoko Taro, they gave some hints to the story. According to Yoko Taro, the reason why the anime is called NieR Automata Ver 1.1a is because it would divert from the original plot. This is because NieR Automata's base story relied on the game medium, which would be difficult to convey in anime format. This would also give veterans of the game a chance to experience a new story.
NieR Automata originally came out in 2017 for the PS4, with PlatinumGames as the developer. It is an ARPG following 2B and 9S, who are android soldiers in a proxy war between the aliens and the humans. Yoko Taro wrote the story, which deals with themes such as existentialism. A Nintendo Switch version came out in early October 2022, with some Switch-exclusive costumes. NieR Automata is readily available on the PS4, Xbox One, Windows PC, and Nintendo Switch. More information on season 3 of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba will come out on December 10, 2022. It will appear after Demon Slayer The Movie: Mugen Train, which will broadcast on Japanese television on that date. The first episode of the anime version of Mugen Train will also air before the movie. [Thanks, Livedoor!] Back in February 2022, ufotable announced that Demon Slayer season 3 would cover the Swordsmith Village Arc. The promotional art showed Muichiro and Mitsuri, who are both members of the Hashira. Muichiro is the Mist Pillar and Mitsuri is the Love Pillar. It is unknown what information we will see in December, but it may be a new trailer for the upcoming season. The Mugen Train movie is the highest-grossing movie of all time in Japan, beating out strong contenders such as Spirited Away. When the anime returned after the first season, it had several episodes before the Entertainment District Arc that basically retold the Mugen Train Arc. Though it did re-animate and add some scenes, the movie and anime versions of Mugen Train were virtually the same. However, the first episode of the Mugen Train Arc in the anime featured a prologue of sorts about Rengoku. This was not in the movie version, and showed his activities before he met Tanjiro and the others. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is available on streaming services such as Netflix and Crunchyroll.
