Konami and Capcom both had online presentations for each of their respective series that gave us a peek behind the curtain of what's next, whether that was announcing new games and a film, or showing more of what we already knew was on the way. One of these presentations clearly, in my opinion, did a much better job of winning over its intended audience though. New details have appeared for P.A. Works' upcoming original anime, Buddy Daddies. The new images leaked ahead of the project's official announcement, which took place on October 22, 2022. Details include the main characters and their respective voice actors, as well as the general premise. The anime will air sometime in January 2023. Works' popular "Work Anime" genre. This time, the work in question is assassination. Hitmen Rei Suwa and Kazuki Kurusu are partners, and their target is apparently a little girl by the name of Miri Unasaka. Rei Suwa is voiced by Koki Uchiyama, who plays Tomura Shigaraki on My Hero Academia. Kazuki Kurusu is voiced by Toshiyuki Toyonaga. Toyonaga voices Kenjiro Shirabu in Haikyuu!. Furthermore, directing the new series is Yoshiyuki Asai, of Charlotte and Fate/Apocrypha fame. Nitroplus' Vio Shimokura and writer Yuko Kakihara will work on the story and series composition. Yuko Kakihara previously worked as a scriptwriter for the Cells at Work! anime adaptation. Kakihara was also a writer for Steins;Gate. Arkham Knight famously had such a disastrous PC launch that the game had to be pulled from sale. As such, any subsequent Batman game on PC was going to be eyed with a great deal of uncertainty. Does Gotham Knights have a better PC port than Arkham Knight launched with? Absolutely! Does that mean it's good? Not even close! The game is definitely playable and I have yet to see anything game-breaking, as I haven't come across quests that wouldn't progress or invisible enemies like some other players have. But as for performance and input functionality? This version is in pretty bad shape. I'm using an RTX 3090 FE alongside a 2600x and 16GB of RAM. Gotham Knights has the worst performance that I've run into while using this particular build. It's mostly fine in instanced environments, as I'm usually able to hit 80 fps pretty comfortably. But considering this is an open-world game, the important part is out on the main map. My fps fluctuates ... 
It's been a while since the last open beta for Resident Evil Re:Verse — more than a year, in fact. But it returned last night during the Resident Evil Showcase. And they do say all things change with time. The online multiplayer game has received a facelift since last year, clearly ditching the comic book-like visuals and opting for a more familiar look. You'll be able to check it out once more when the beta goes live starting this Sunday. And you won't be alone, as Resident Evil Re:Verse is confirmed for cross-play between all platforms. Granted, a couple of the platforms mentioned in the latest trailer are those of the prior generation. Players on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Steam will be able to blast and bash each other as heroes and villains of the franchise clash in pretty brutal team-based deathmatch arenas. Joy to the players who are still scrambling to play Kiriko in competitive mode because a new double XP weekend for Overwatch 2 begins today. Blizzard is giving out some goodies as an apology for the scuffed launch of the game. It was riddled with bugs and continues to be riddled with bugs, if I might add, with one map currently out of rotation and Bastion straight up deleted from the game. One of these goodies, though, is the double XP weekend. The Overwatch 2 double XP weekend will allow you to progress through the game's Battle Pass faster, which is good news if you still need to get Kiriko, who is locked behind tier 55 of the Battle Pass. For Overwatch 1 owners without the Battle Pass, I can't say double XP is exciting at all because we all got Kiriko for free already. After a whopping four delays, publisher Private Division and developer Intercept Games have finally unveiled a definitive release date for the Early Access version of Kerbal Space Program 2. Players will blast off into the great unknown on February 24 of next year, which falls into the developers' projected early 2023 release window. The Early Access version will already come with a wealth of content for players to enjoy and experiment with. For instance, Early Access players can construct their ideal spacecraft by selecting from a list of over 350 new parts. Using fuel tanks, engines, and other parts, players can create all manner of rockets, planes, rovers, and other ambitious constructions to make use of on their space expeditions.
