PCGamesN Tuesday, January 10, 2023 7:48 AM  Season 14 introduced the Destiny 2 transmog system, giving players a way to transform the look of their favourite pieces of armour. This feature has been long-anticipated by Destiny 2 Players, who have been asking for a transmog system since the first game launched. Bungie introduced universal ornaments in the Shadowkeep expansion, but that system only worked for a small number of cosmetics. The transmog system applies to all pieces of armour (except Destiny 2 Exotics) - even sunsetted pieces of gear. Players don't need to store their favourite armour sets in vaults, instead, the transmog system draws from collections. In theory, this means you can freely remove any old armour sets, though we don't recommend doing this until the transmog feature goes live. Ada-1 has taken over from Banshee-44 as the new armour vendor in the Tower. Not only does Ada sell players armour, but she also hosts the Armour Synthesis system. They spawn in taiga, giant taiga and snowy biomes and are nocturnal mobs, making them more likely to spawn at night, especially in forests. Foxes come in different colours depending on where you find them; foxes found in snowy biomes have white fur for example. However, they all have the same behaviour as each other. Foxes usually spawn in groups of 2-4, with a 5% chance of them spawning as baby foxes. These Minecraft mobs also have a 20% chance to spawn holding items, which include an emerald, rabbit foot, rabbit hide, egg, wheat, leather, or a feather. We can only assume these are from their prey. If you spot a Minecraft fox sleeping with one of these in its mouth, it could be tempting to sneak up on it, but a fox will wake if you step onto an adjacent block. If a fox sadly dies from a wolf attack, or player, it drops one or two experience orbs. Five people who used to work for developers Striking Distance spoke to GamesIndustry.biz, and said that they didn't make it onto The Callisto Protocol's credits. Other sources told the site that around 20 staff from several departments were omitted, including senior developers, leads, and directors, some of whom had worked at the studio for more than a year. |

The next 12 months is set to be a banner year for interstellar adventuring, and kicking us off in just under four weeks time on February 3rd is KeokeN Interactive's Deliver Us Mars. As I found out last year, Deliver Us Mars looks like it's going to be quite the step up from its prequel, Deliver Us The Moon, both in terms of its cerebral, pulse-racing puzzle-solving, and its shift from a silent, first-person protagonist to fully-voiced, third-person heroine, Kathy Johanson - a fact that game director and co-founder Koen Deetman tells me has been long in the making. "You have to bear in mind that Deliver Us The Moon was our debut into the games industry," he tells me. "We'd envisioned multiple ways to make this the greatest game of all time, but to some extent you are bound by reality and what you can make within a budget and timeline, so some of these decisions were made out of necessity. That's why the narrative and its scale has significantly risen with Deliver Us Mars – we've had the opportunity to give that side of the game a lot of more of our time and attention." |

The "D" series of Cardfight Vanguard anime will run for nine seasons and end in December 2025. The series includes shows like Cardfight Vanguard: overDress and Cardfight Vanguard will+Dress Season 2. Cardfight Vanguard will+Dress Season 2 will start airing on January 14, 2023 in Japan, and will update every Saturday. [Thanks, Comic Natalie!] Cardfight Vanguard: will+Dress Season 2 will feature original character designs from CLAMP, and Satoshi Mori will direct it. Mori previously worked as an animation director on Made in Abyss: Dawn of the Deep Soul and Utawarerumono: Itsuwari no Kamen. The "D" series will mostly feature on Yu-yu Kondou's adventures. In the Japanese dub, Shouta Aoi (Ai Mikaze in Uta no Prince-sama) voices him. According to the schedule for the Cardfight Vanguard "D" anime, it will air throughout the year until December 2025. However, April to June, as well as October to December will consist of re-runs. So far, including the un-aired Cardfight Vanguard will+Dress Season 2, there have been four seasons. Unlike the original Cardfight Vanguard shows, the "D" anime focuses on Yu-yu Kondou, who is a shy and timid boy. He encounters Vanguard after running into Team Blackout, and then starts to play. He shares many similarities with Aichi, who was the protagonist for the original anime. Cardfight Vanguard will+Dress Season 2 will start airing on January 14, 2023, and the entire Yu-yu Kondou saga will end after nine seasons in December 2025. Once again, Ley Line Overflow returned to Genshin Impact. This event will allow you to get double the drops from Blossoms of Wealth and Blossoms of Revelation for a limited time. You can only take advantage of Ley Line Overflow three times per day. Ley Line Overflow will be available in Genshin Impact until January 16, 2023. That means it will essentially run until the end of Version 3.3. The bonus rewards for Ley Line Overflow are only available if you use Original Resin. You cannot combine it with Condensed Resin. This gives the perfect opportunity for those who wish to pull for the characters in Version 3.4, or one of the free Liyue characters after Lantern Rite. Conversely, those who will skip the banners in Version 3.4 can use Ley Line Overflow to gather resources for future characters in the game. Version 3.4 will start with the debut of new characters Alhaitham and Yao Yao. Both of them previously appeared in the game, whether directly in the story or indirectly through voice lines. Alhaitham will be a 5-star Dendro Sword character. Meanwhile, Yao Yao will be a 4-star Dendro Polearm user. Even if you do not get her from the banner, you can choose her as your free reward character from Lantern Rite. Other than those two, Xiao, Yelan, and Hu Tao will have re-runs during 3.4. Genshin Impact is available on PS4, PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. The Ley Line Overflow event will run from January 9 to 16, 2023 in Genshin Impact, and then Version 3.4 will go live on January 18, 2023. Weekly Shonen Jump revealed a teaser trailer for volume 37 of the Hunter x Hunter manga on its official YouTube account. The trailer features voiced quotes from Hisoka Morow and Chrollo Lucilfer. Hunter x Hunter is currently on an indefinite hiatus due to complications on Yoshihiro Togashi's health. [Thanks, Natalie!] Volume 37 of the Hunter x Hunter manga is titled "Escape," and it released in Japan back in November 4, 2022. The title makes reference to Kacho and Fugetsu, princes of the Kakin Empire, and their escape attempt from the Black Whale. The video picks up on quotes from Hisoka and Chrollo. Daisuke Namikawa plays the role of Hisoka and Mamoru Miyano plays the role of Chrollo. The trailer highlights Hisoka and Chrollo's ongoing rivalry, and teases the Phantom Troupe's persecution of Hisoka. Daisuke Namikawa voices Hisoka, while Mamoru Miyano voices Chrollo.
