Marvel Snap pool 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 cards – every new and upcoming card

Want to know what cards are inside every Marvel Snap pool? Cards in Marvel Snap are divided into series, though the community prefers to use the term pools. Players unlock cards by reaching higher tiers on the collection level track, though the cards you unlock are randomised within that pool.

If you desperately need one specific card to create one of the best Marvel Snap decks, you can either cross your fingers every time you unlock a new mystery card or collector's cache, or save up collector's tokens and pay close attention to the rotating stock in the shop. Our guide breaks down what cards are featured in each pool to help you keep track of what cards you may unlock next.

Next Marvel Snap season release date, cards, locations, and theme

If you're looking for the next Marvel Snap season release date, we've got you covered. Each month, a new Marvel Snap season begins, and with a new season comes new cards, a unique theme, and a host of new locations. January's Marvel Snap theme is the Savage Lands; which introduced Zabu and refocused the meta on reducing four-cost cards.

What is February's Marvel Snap season release date, and who can we expect to see front and centre in the battle pass? Knowing the upcoming meta can help turn the tides early for you when new cards are added to the pool, as you'll already have a pre-built deck ready to go in one of the best PC games this year. Crafting the best Marvel Snap decks for a given season also requires some knowledge of what locations you're likely to see, with certain styles of play being more suited to a specific location set.

     Best Marvel Snap Death deck

The best Marvel Snap Death deck is a hot topic right now, because Death is one of the most powerful cards in the game assuming you can reduce her cost enough to allow her to be played. Death costs nine energy by default, which is too expensive on the face of it since a standard game only goes up to turn six, but her effect is that she costs one less per card destroyed. So, short of Lamentis-1 occurring in every match, how do you take advantage of Death and destroy effects?

It's actually a fairly simple and common archetype in the card game, provided you're lucky enough to pull Death in pool three or buy her from the token shop. There are plenty of cards that synergise with the destroy mechanic in-game - Carnage, Deathlok, and Killmonger come to mind - and plenty of others that can support Death, making her one of the best Marvel Snap decks overall. Here's the best Death deck list and some tips for playing it.

The best sandbox games on PC 2023

The best sandbox games are difficult to nail down, as the sandbox style is spread across countless genres with disparate mechanics and settings. But all sandboxes share a common trait: freedom. Whether it's creating a whole world or building up a gang of criminals across a city, sandbox games leave most of the agency up to the player. They are universes to be experienced at a pace not dictated by developers.

Some of the best PC games of all time are those which allow total player freedom, but there needs to be a bit of clarity when looking at what makes a great sandbox game. They have, since the days of Elite and Ultima, referred to open-world games filled with choice and diversions. But revisionist history would describe them as "games like Minecraft". For the purposes of this exploration of the best of the bunch, we're taking a look at them all. We support sandbox egalitarianism. So, from the mean streets of Los Santos through the ruthless missions of Agent 47 and the stunning expanse of Eve's universe, these are the very best sandbox games on PC.

When does Hogwarts Legacy take place?

When does Hogwarts Legacy take place? The latest Harry Potter universe game is set in the distant past, long before the scarred boy set foot in Hogwarts' hallowed halls and even before the Fantastic Beasts films. To put this into context, Dumbledore is a mere child in the events of this game, so it's as if we're stepping into a brand-new world.

With its rather early timeframe, it's also improbable that the open-world game will have either Harry Potter or Hagrid as Hogwarts Legacy characters you can interact with. However, since the ghosts have been on campus since forever, it's highly probable that you'll at least bump into Nearly Headless Nick from time to time. Either way, Portkey Games has confirmed in what year Hogwarts Legacy takes place, so let's dive a bit more into the story setting.

Review: One Piece Odyssey is an Easy RPG

If there was ever a game made for the fans, One Piece Odyssey is it. Mangaka Eiichiro Oda ended up involved, with new character designs based on his original art. The characters look true to life, with voice actors returning and familiar attacks back. It also revisits past arcs, tapping into stories that mattered to people. It nails the ambiance and the team behind it understood the assignment. However, people unfamiliar with the series probably won't get much out of it, especially considering how easy it can be.

When someone starts One Piece Odyssey, they better know who the Straw Hat Pirates are and what they do, because the game isn't going to wait for you to catch up. Luffy and the Straw Hats find themselves caught up in a storm, which strands them on Waford Island and sinks the Thousand Sunny. People are (temporarily) separated. Brook's lost his body again. Franky needs to stay back to try and repair the ship. From there, things get worse, as they encounter a mysterious man named Adio and a young woman he considers his daughter named Lim. Lim, based on her hatred of pirates who ended up stranded there before, removes everyone's memories. Not to mention the Marines are nearby with Smoker the White Hunter on deck.

Lim One Piece

The ejection of everyone's memories in the form of cubes offers both an excuse to revisit memories and drop the crew from well-established level 40 back down to level 1 pirates with no special skills. As you find them in the field or from story-based events, you regain the party's special attacks and can fortify them to make them stronger. Larger cubes necessitate a visit to Memoria, which allows the Straw Hats and Lim to revisit the Alabasta, Water Seven, Marineford, and Dressrosa arcs following the defeat of certain Waford island guardians.

However, these might not go exactly as someone would expect. This is because, as Lim noted, memories are unreliable. This means enemies are stronger than they were in the past, you might see unexpected cameos from characters that didn't show up then, or the story might go differently. In some cases, this can also feel like an excuse to add more busywork or sidequests to pad out a storyline. As a spoiler-free example, the Straw Hats can't take the Going Merry to Crocodile's Rain Dinners casino, so you have to go through the desert next to Nanohana to reach Rainbase instead. This means the overall pacing can suffer, since there are unnecessary elements that interfere with what were originally reasonable plotlines.

Ace

Suggestion of things not going exactly as you'd expect aside, One Piece Odyssey shocked me with how straightforward it was. While people involved with the Tales series worked on it, I felt it was more like Tales of Graces than something like Tales of Berseria or Arise. (Though yes, Arise's camping feature appears for parties and crafting.) This world isn't an open one, and the path you need to take to get from point A to point B is usually incredibly direct and littered with red exclamation points showing you exactly where to go. (The game will also force you to stop and turn back many times, keeping you from exploring.) Given the size of spaces, you likely won't go more than a few in-game feet before encountering another "event" that pauses everything to force you into a story segment or battle.

That simplicity carries over into other elements of One Piece Odyssey. It holds the player's hand more tightly than any game I've played in the last few years. How do I perform an action? Press square to toggle whether or not the ever-present "directory" on the screen. Where do I go next? Follow the big red arrow on the map to the exclamation point. Can I interact with something? Well, either there is a magnifying glass or a magnifying glass with an on-screen sparkle. The tutorials continue well into the second chapter, to the point at which it might feel like over-explaining. Accessories start out as huge blocks that take up every space in the equipment grid, locking someone into only one possible item they can use for buffs at time, but also making it very simple to determine what you should equip.

One Piece Odyssey review

This is coupled with the game generally being rather easy, especially when it comes to puzzles, until you hit the late game. The fights on Waford especially are laughably so, with even bosses posing no threat. Characters gain levels at a shocking pace, with my party being at level 18 before I even headed into the Memoria version of Alabasta. Rather than being challenging, some main and side quests can involve running back and forth between obvious places in a rather small map with few detours or additional paths to go beat someone up or retrieve certain items. And while the Memoria segments mean the enemies can be more difficult, it can sometimes feel instead like they just have extra HP or deal slightly more damage than usual.

The One Piece Odyssey battle system attempts to make things interesting by having people in certain areas when fights begin and character traits. Characters belong to certain attack types like power/speed/technique, as do enemies. So Luffy is "power," Nami is "speed," and Zoro is "technique," as an example. There are also different zones, with enemies and allies placed in different ones when a fight begins. It is novel, but it gets to feel like frustrating busywork when it comes to constantly swapping party members around to take advantage of weaknesses. Likewise, movement putting certain characters in or out of range of enemies or group healing is annoying. Especially since there is no specific "move" command. It's almost easier to rely on the auto battle feature, unless you're against a boss or later in the game.

bond attack

However, when I said this was one for the fans, I meant it. The character designs look good when brought to life. So much so that I would have liked to have seen more original enemies. Before you even leave the first chapter, you'll start seeing palette swaps. There are entertaining asides between characters when you investigate points of interest or explore. Side quests can bring back minor characters from the anime and manga asking for help. Some folks may temporarily join your party, though you won't be able to control them in battle. You also get lots of time with allies. You can switch your lead character to perform special actions or reach different areas, though Luffy and Chopper were the two I ended to swap to most often for traversal purposes. You can also unlock Bond Arts via using Memory Links to get to Hysteria. These give people a chance to unlock memories with specific characters, getting a super strong group attack in return.

If you always wanted to join the Straw Hat Pirates, then One Piece Odyssey is the adventure for you regardless of your proficiency with video games. However, it wouldn't necessarily be the best game for everyone else. Those who love Tales titles or are experienced with turn-based RPGs would do better with a different, more challenging title that doesn't expect you to be familiar with the source material. It is a very easy adventure that expects a certain degree of knowledge about One Piece, even with Lim using the memory cubes to offer brief asides during chapters. But if you are a fan and are up for an effortless, nostalgic, and pretty stroll, this will leave you satisfied.

One Piece Odyssey will come to the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC on January 12, 2023. A demo is available on consoles.

Avatar Generations

Developer Navigator Games and publisher CDE Entertainment, the business group that arose from former Square Enix studios acquired by Embracer in 2022, released a new at gameplay for its upcoming title Avatar Generations. Based on the Avatar: The Last Airbender universe, Avatar Generations is an RPG headed for Android and iOS devices. Pre-registrations have also opened for the game on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

The Avatar Generations gameplay trailer shows off battle and cutscene footage from the game. The RPG involves players forming parties of characters and facing off against enemies in a turn-based combat system. Battles are rendered in 3D, with characters using their elemental "bending" powers to throw out attacks with their martial arts. A timing bar determines the order in which characters take their actions, as well.

Check out the gameplay trailer below.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6EZDy920pyQ

The story of the game appears to be based on the first Nickelodeon Avatar: The Last Airbender series. Players will aid Aang, the titular last airbender and the current "Avatar" - a chosen person who can master all four elements. They'll travel across the Four Nations, following a story that features both familiar and original content. Known characters like Katar, Sokka, Zuo, Toph, and others will make appearances, too. Support companions, like Appa the flying bison, can be equipped to strengthen the team. Navigator Games says that new content will also be added regularly, expanding the available storylines beyond the original Avatar series. Expansions will follow other Avatars on their own journeys. These will include stories such as those covered in the Rise of Kyoshi novel series and the The Legend of Korra.

Reasons Why Ayaka is a Pretty Great Genshin Impact Character

Genshin Impact developer HoYoverse reached total gross earning of $1.7 billion in 2022, according to data from Appmagic and Citi Research. This cemented the developer-publisher's position as the third highest grossing mobile publisher of the year, just below Tencent and NetEase. The data was shared on Twitter by Reuters tech correspondent Josh Ye, which lists the top 30 grossing mobile publishers of 2022. However, the data does not include third-party Android sales and will not account for a sizable number of downloads and purchases outside of western Europe and North America.

As HoYoverse's most popular title, Genshin Impact accounted for around $1.4 billion of HoYoverse's total gross revenue in 2022. The title reached $4 billion in lifetime revenue in December 2022. That is a little over two years since its launch on September 28, 2020.

The full list, as featured in Ye's tweet, can be seen below:

The grid allows people to see the Genshin Impact developer's earnings compared to its top three contemporaries, Tencent and NetEase. The League of Legends and Diablo Immortal developers each reported $6.3 billion and $2.2 billion, respectively.

Although only one Japanese publisher occupies the top ten, with Bandai Namco in seventh place ($1.1bil), Square Enix ($848mil), Konami ($786m), Cygames ($662m), and XFlag ($620m) each earned positions in the top 20. Fate/Grand Order publisher Aniplex fell outside of the top 20 with $579 million gross.

Genshin Impact is available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and mobile devices. The 3.4 update will arrive on January 18, 2023.

Pokemon Love Ball Poke Ball Replica Appears Ahead of Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is still a month away, but the latest Poke Ball replica brings the Pokemon series' Love Ball to life. While it isn't in retail stores until February 2023, it made its Pokemon Center debut. The $99.99 model is the same size as a Poke Ball would be. It also features light effects when someone touches or moves near it. Three other designs are also confirmed for 2023.

Here's a closer look at the Pokemon Love Ball. It is made of metal, like past models. It can be posed in or out of its case, with an optional ring to keep it balanced on flat surfaces.
[gallery columns="2" size="full" ids="946528,946529" link="file"]

In Pokemon, the Love Ball is designed to be used when your Pokemon is facing one of the opposite gender. So if you are using a male Fuecoco, it would be more effective than usual when trying to catch a female Smoliv. It is available in multiple installments, with people able to find it in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet occasionally at auctions held at the Porto Marinada Market.

The Wand Company started releasing its replicas back in 2020. Things kicked off with the original Poke Ball back in November 2020. Even more appeared in 2022, with ones like the Cherish Ball, Friend Ball, Heal Ball, and Quick Ball showing up. All of the prices and features remained consistent over the years and through the various iterations. Later in 2023, the Dive Ball, Luxury Ball, and Net Ball will join the collection.

People can get the Love Ball Poke Ball replica in the Pokemon Center now. It will show up in other stores in February 2023.

Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak Free Title Update 4 Hunter Loadouts Teased

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Free Title Update 4 is expected soon, and a new update shows its Hunter Loadouts. This is a new feature that will allow people to quickly switch between different loadouts in-game. Director Yoshitake Suzuki shared the first screenshot showing it off on Twitter and briefly discussed the feature.

The Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak screenshot shows how the Loadout List with Hunter Loadouts looks in the Item Box menu. It shows that 28 pages of loadouts will be available, with eight on each page. People can adjust the Item, Equipment, and Layered Loadouts from there. The Item Loadout page is the only one shown. It divides the contents up into items and ammo/coatings.

Back in November 2022, Capcom brought up Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Free Title Update 4 and 5 in a new roadmap. It mentioned the fourth would bring with it a new elder dragon and powered up monster not long after 2023 began. Then in Spring 2023, the fifth one will appear.

Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak is available on the Nintendo Switch and PC, and Free Title Update 4 is expected before Spring 2023. Monster Hunter Rise will make its Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PS4, and PS5 debut on January 20, 2023.

Atelier Ryza Figure Prototypes Progress Shared

There are new looks at two in-progress figure prototypes of Ryza from Atelier Ryza. Character designer and illustrator Toridamono, who worked on all three games in the series, took to Twitter to share photos of two to show off the paint jobs so far. One is the AmiAmi Ques Q Atelier series' 25th anniversary figure. The other is the Good Smile Company High Summer Formal one inspired by the Atelier Ryza 2 DLC.

First, here's the peek at the Atelier Ryza 2 High Summer Formal Ver figure. It only shows the item from the back. However, it offers a hint at how the lacy top will look and the gradation of colors for the ruffles on the bottom of the dress.

For reference, here's how the concept art for it looked.

Next, here's how the AmiAmi 25th anniversary Atelier Ryza figure looks. It focuses on Ryza herself and doesn't include the figure's other accents.

The last time AmiAmi showed off the figure, it only involved an unpainted prototype.

There is no release window yet for either of these Atelier Ryza figures.

Xbox and Bethesda Developer_Direct Showcase Announced

A new Xbox and Bethesda showcase called the Developer_Direct is on the way. This is designed to look at new console and PC games. This will also apply to titles worldwide. In addition to the English announcement, it was confirmed for Japan too. People can tune in to the presentation at 12pm PT/3pm ET/8pm GMT/9pm CET on January 25, 2023. (That's 5am JST on January 26, 2023.) It will appear on the Bethesda Twitch and YouTube and Xbox Twitch and YouTube.

Microsoft already confirmed some of the games guaranteed to appear. The Elder Scrolls Online will be discussed, with an ESO Chapter Reveal immediately after the Developer_Direct ends. There will also be new looks at Forza Motorsport, Minecraft Legends, and Redfall. The announcement didn't mention any other games we know are in the works, like Starfield or The Elder Scrolls 6. Starfield is expected to launch sometime in 2023.

As a reminder, first-party Xbox games will begin costing more in 2023. In December 2023, Microsoft told Windows Central that games like Forza Motorsport, Redfall, and Starfield will be $69.99 each, rather than $59.99.

The Xbox and Bethesda Developer_Direct showcase will appear on January 25, 2023 at 12pm PT/3pm ET/9pm CET.

Bayonetta 3 Patch Adjust Viola Gameplay, Niflheim Difficulty, Tricolored Keys

There's a new 1.2.0 Bayonetta 3 patch, and it seems to address many quality of life issues. Plenty of bug fixes appear, as well as rebalancing changes. However, now when people play Bayonetta 3, they should notice some alterations to Viola segments and Niflheim difficulty levels, as well as find it easier to collect the three Tricolored Keys.

All of the changes to Viola following the Bayonetta 3 patch are designed to help with blocking, triggering Witch Time, not accidentally losing charge, or accidentally performing Assault Slave. Blocking will be easier, as there's a new window. Witch Time also includes an extra activation animation and lasts longer. Also, people shouldn't accidentally use Assault Slave when trying to dodge enemies.

As for Niflheim stages in Bayonetta 3, there are slight adjustments that influence difficulty regardless which level someone chooses. Depending on the stage, either the amount of time you have to beat it by 20-30 seconds or people get an additional life.

Here are the full 1.2.0 Bayonetta 3 patch notes from Nintendo. Note that the ones regarding the Tricolored Keys do not mention any Bayonetta 3 spoilers.

Combat Adjustments
  • Adjusted Viola's activation window for "Block" and activation conditions for Witch Time.
    • Block activation window added after releasing Block (during the release animation).
    • Added an additional animation when Witch Time takes effect, making its activation easier to realize.
    • The allotted duration of Witch Time, and its activation window have been lengthened.
    • Now, when block is activated when player is attacked, player will receive damage effect, but block will succeed and activate Witch Time.
    • Now, combo can continue (with Dodge Offset) when player uses Block to activate Witch Time.
    • If the Block input is used repeatedly, the granted Witch Time duration will decrease.
  • Adjustments made to prevent Viola's evasive input and Cheshire's summoning input from activating Assault Slave while maintaining invincibility if they are used in rapid succession.
  • Weapons "Simoon", "Tartarus" and Viola's Charge Attacks can now continue to hold charge, even if dodged or blocked.
  • Wink Slave can now be activated from the combos "PKP*" and "PKK*" for the weapons "G-Pillar", "Dead End Express" and "Cassiopeia".*P is Punch, and K is Kick
  • When equipping the accessories "Infernal Communicator" and "Pulley's Butterfly" to summon Devils and Butterflies, it is now possible to cancel the summoning motion by dodging or blocking.
Niflheim

The following Niflheim stage conditions were changed to lower the difficulty:

Niflheim Stage Changed Conditions
Chapter 2 Verse 5(Casual to Expert) 120 second time limit changed to 150 second time limit
Chapter 3 Verse 4(Casual to Expert) Two lives increased to three lives
Chapter 5 Verse 2 (Casual to Expert) 150 second time limit changed to 180 second time limit
Chapter 6 Verse 8 (Casual to Expert) Two lives increased to three lives
Chapter 9 Verse 8 (Casual to Expert) 60 second time limit changed to 80 second time limit
Chapter 10 Verse 1 (Casual to Expert) 140 second time limit changed to 160 second time limit
Chapter 12 Verse 5 (Casual to Expert) One life increased to two lives
Game Modes
  • Conditions for obtaining the "Tricolored Keys" needed to unseal the "Old Picture Book" have been made easier.
    • "Tricolored Keys" will be automatically available on the chapter select screen once it becomes possible to access the "Gates of Hell".
  • Even if the player already has access to the Gates of Hell, or has already obtained one or two keys, they will automatically obtain the remaining keys when going to the chapter select screen after applying the update.
Other Changes
  • Adjustments have been made to the Golem Treasure Chests found in stages.
    • Time limits have been increased, and difficulty has been lowered.
    • Golem Chest fragmenting animation can now be fast-forwarded with the B-button.
  • Adjustments have been made to reduce situations with poor camera visibility.
  • Adjusted game balance.
Bug Fixes
  • Fixed a bug in Verse 5 of Chapter 7 that prevented progress when certain actions were performed while controlling Cheshire.
  • Fixed a problem with the accessory "Hymn of Durga" in which its effect was not being applied to some attacks.
  • Fixed an issue where using Alruna's "Bondage Whip (P or K* long press)" skill in certain situations would cause the enemies to to die instantly.
  • Fixed an issue where the weapons using "Crow Within" (J* long press)" with "Scarborough Fair" and "Love is Blue" would cause player to move forward significantly under certain conditions.
  • Fixed an issue where Bayonetta's animations would not play correctly when switching weapons immediately after using the "Crow Within (J* long press)" with the weapons "Scarborough Fair" and "Love is Blue".
  • Fixed a bug that caused "Black Pearl Rain (Rotate L stick + S*)" for Infernal Demon "Kraken" to trigger "Wink Slave" with abnormally high attack power.
  • Fixed a bug that caused "Devil Rodin" to be stuck for a time when using "After Burner Kick (↑K* in midair)" continuously, immediately after rising up with a prior "After Burner Kick (J・K*)".
  • Fixed a bug in which Viola's Assault Slave was able to summon Infernal Demons in "Infernal Demon-prohibited areas".
  • Fixed an error in the hand symbol seen in Cutie J's transformation sequence viewable in Side Chapter.
  • Fixed other issues to make the game more enjoyable to play.

*P is Punch, K is Kick, S is Shoot, and J is Jump.

Bayonetta 3 is available for the Nintendo Switch.

genshin impact 3.4

HoYoVerse offered a sneak peek at what enemies to expect in the Desert of Hadramaveth. This will be a new region to explore once Genshin Impact Version 3.4 goes live on January 18, 2023. This edition of the Sumeru Adventure Journal only covers a handful of the new enemies that will be in the Desert of Hadramaveth.

The first Genshin Impact enemies are the Eremite Scorching Loremaster and Eremite Floral Ring-Dancer. Both of them are, as their names imply, part of the Eremite group of enemies already in the game. There is no information on how they will fight. However, the Scorching Loremaster will be able to use Pyro attacks, whereas the Floral Ring-Dancer can use Dendro.

[gallery columns="2" ids="946457,946456" link="file"]

There will also be Consecrated Beasts. Like Geovishaps, the Consecrated Beasts will be able to enter a different form in combat. In the case of the Consecrated Beast, they can enter something called the Phagocytic form. HoYoVerse has shown us the looks of the Consecrated Flying Serpent, the Consecrated Scorpion, and the Consecrated Red Vulture. These Genshin Impact enemies can release Phagocytic Energy Blocks, which you can then destroy with an attack of a corresponding element.

[gallery columns="2" ids="946459,946458" link="file"]

Finally, there will be a new Anemo Boss: Setekh Wenut. Like the existing Anemo Hypostasis, the Setekh Wenut can release Anemo bullets that you can destroy with any element that reacts with Swirl. It can also float in the air. However, if you destroy two Windbite Bullets, you can lower the Setekh Wenut to the ground.

[gallery columns="1" ids="946460" link="file"]

Genshin Impact is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. The Desert of Hadramaveth and all of the new enemies will go live on January 18, 2023 along with Genshin Impact Version 3.4.

Fire Emblem Engage Goldmary

Fire Emblem: Engage is less than 10 days from its release date, but Nintendo is continuing its various character introductions. The latest character introduced for Fire Emblem Engage is Goldmary (or Goldmari). She's voiced by Natsumi Takamori, who also played Hibana in Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Miku Maekawa in Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls, and Raiha in The Quintessential Quintuplets.

https://twitter.com/FireEmblemJP/status/1613078671958634496

Goldmary is a Royal Knight of Elusia, a kingdom in Fire Emblem Engage's world of Elyos. It is ruled by King Hyacinth and the first Princess Ivy, who appeared in an earlier trailer mounting an attack on Brodia. Goldmary is a retainer to Elusia's second Princess, Hortensia. She's described as "shy" and somewhat timid in manner, but in speech can be quite assertive, showing no lack of self-confidence. This is demonstrated in a brief conversation with fellow retainer Rosado.

https://twitter.com/FireEmblemJP/status/1613080385000439808

In the clip, Rosado declares to Goldmary that between the two of them, Rosado's "clearly" the cuter, but still stands to lose on grounds of Goldmary's superior cooking. Thus, Rosado demands that Goldmary teach him, the better to improve his skills. Goldmary responds that she thinks she's the cuter one, frankly. Rosado offers to concede if she'll agree to give some cooking lessons. Goldmary remarks that the attitude Rosado displays is unbecoming of someone in need of help, but decides to teach him anyway, "as a friend."

In Fire Emblem Engage, Goldmary starts as part of the Hero (or "Brave Hero") class. An evolved form of the Mercenary class, Heroes are typically strong physical infantry units that specialize in using Axes and Swords in combat. However, a clip demonstrating Goldmary's combat prowess in Fire Emblem Engage shows her throwing a lance at range to take out an enemy standing atop a tower. The description states that Hero units take advantage of their battlefield prowess to dominate the front lines "with a variety of weapons."

Fire Emblem Engage launches for the Nintendo Switch on January 20, 2023. Check out Siliconera's preview of the game.

Stranded Deep Campfire Meat NightSurviving in Stranded Deep requires building structures, with one of the most useful of these coming in the form of campfires. One of the first available structures in the game, the campfire will help you stay warm during night hours and allow you to cook meat to avoid starving. This guide will show you how to construct a campfire in Stranded Deep as well as how to upgrade it. How to light a campfire in Stranded Deep Campfires in Stranded Deep require you to collect six sticks — four to build the campfire itself and two to create "kindling" so that you can light the fire. You can find sticks lying around on the various islands, but gathering them may take a while considering how spread apart they are. To speed up the process, you can cut trees down using an axe, a stone tool, or a refined knife, which will leave behind several sticks to pick up. Although axes and refined knives have an advantage in terms of durability and chopping speed, a stone tool only requires a ...

xbox bethesda developer direct 2023 starfield featuredLast year was generally a disappointing period for fans of Xbox and its first-party games. Outside of success stories such as Grounded and Pentiment, Microsoft had few first-party releases that demanded the attention of gamers. This was partly due to the delay of both Redfall and Starfield to 2023. Thankfully, it seems like Xbox is on track to have a better release schedule this year. To that end, Xbox Games Studios is starting things off on the right foot with a new Xbox and Bethesda Developer Direct showcase to give fans a better look at what lies ahead — but Starfield news will have to wait. The Xbox and Bethesda Developer Direct stream will take place on January 25 at 3 PM ET. It will be available to view on both the Xbox and Bethesda YouTube and Twitch channels. Xbox is promising fans an "inside look at some of the games coming to Xbox, PC, and Game Pass over the next few months."      ubisoft cancels three games skull and bones delayed featured imageFollowing a recent slump in sales, Ubisoft has announced significant cost-cutting measures. In a press release today, Ubisoft revealed that it has canceled the development of three unannounced games, with Skull and Bones delayed until "early 2023-24." In the press release, the company detailed its recent troubles. Ubisoft states that it has spent the last four years in attempt to adapt its key franchises into "converging trends" — such as live-service games. However, said projects "have yet to be released," while its latest games have come up short. Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot expressed disappointment with the company's latest sales figures. Specifically, he admits feeling "surprised" about the "underperformance" of Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, which launched on the Nintendo Switch in October 2022. Guillemot notes that Just Dance 2023 also didn't make a huge splash. "Therefore, with the approval of t...
