Marvelous released a story trailer, as well as opened up an official site, for its upcoming new simulation RPG Sakura Ignoramus. This is the latest work from Oji Hiroi. Hiroi previously wrote Far East of Eden, as well as the Sakura Wars franchise. It seems that there will be different trailers in the future focusing on various story beats. [Thanks, Famitsu!] The first trailer for Sakura Ignoramus is the Destruction and Rebirth Arc. In the world of Sakura Ignoramus, there are mysterious enemies called "Kegare," or "Black Fire," and the only ones who can defeat them are people from the Tribe of Fire. The setting takes place after World War III, which was so destructive that it erased a lot of existing countries. One of them, Owari, managed to get back on its feet fairly fast due to its preparations prior to the war. However, Owari's peace does not last for long. An attack causes the city to go up in flames, and Himawari, as well as other members of the Tribe of Fire, have to stand up and fight. They also have to save the world from the Final Day. Nintendo introduced the rest and Wyvern Ride activities that you can experience in Somniel when you want to take a break in Fire Emblem Engage. Wyvern is an on-rails FPS mini-game in which you destroy targets floating around the hub. Napping will pass time. Depending on your relationship values with a character, they might wake you up after one. In a short video on the Fire Emblem Engage Japanese Twitter account introducing the bed and rest mechanics, Panette shows up at the end to wake Alear up. Other than resting, you can use the bed to look through your memories or adjust the difficulty setting. It is unclear just how close you will have to be to a character for them to wake you up. In it, you shoot down targets in the air to get a high score. There will likely be rewards depending on how many points you get. Toho Animation uploaded the creditless opening of Trigun Stampede, as well as announced two new cast members. Shigeru Chiba and Kenji Nomura will appear from the second episode, which will air on January 14, 2023. Also, the full opening song is available to stream on multiple platforms. The ending will be available in the future as well. [Thanks, Dengeki Online!] The opening song for Trigun Stampede is "Tombi" by Kvi Baba. Kvi Baba is a hip-hop artist who debuted in 2017. In the opening, it shows a lot of the desert wasteland that the anime takes place in, along with shots of Vash. Previous roles that Chiba played include Kuwabara in Yu Yu Hakusho and Ryunosuke's Dad in Urusei Yatsura. As for Nomura, some of his past roles include Iron Tager in BlazBlue and Yukio Terada in the Yakuza series. Trigun Stampede is the re-make of the classic anime series, Trigun. It follows the story of Vash the Stampede, who is a famous gunman with a bounty on his head. Despite that, he is a pacifist. Perhaps due to the show's fame and long history, the remake has somewhat changed the order of events. Trigun Stampede is available for streaming on Crunchyroll.
