Genshin Impact outfits – available skins and costumes

A colourful range of Genshin Impact outfits are available in the anime game to customise and vary your favourite characters. The system was introduced in the Genshin Impact 1.6 update, following months of pleading from the community, but the developers have been slow to give every character an outfit, with just one or two released with each update since.

As Genshin Impact characters are locked behind gacha mechanics, players were initially worried that skins may be sold using the same system. However, there are actually two methods to unlock skins: purchase the skin for 1,680 Genesis Crystals, or complete specific Genshin Impact events to unlock the skin for free. For free skins, if you are unlucky enough to miss the event, the skin will make its way to the Character Outfit Shop in the future. Here's a list of every Genshin Impact outfit available in the game right now and how to get it for yourself.

Genshin Impact codes January 2023 – redeem free primogems

Looking for Genshin Impact codes? Gathering currency in Genshin Impact can be quite the grind - while you can earn Mora and Primogems by completing quests such as daily commissions, an injection of extra funds will always be gratefully received. Fortunately, the developers occasionally send out free gifts in the form of Genshin Impact codes that can be redeemed online. Most codes also only work for a limited time - so it's a good idea to redeem them as soon as possible in case you miss out. Codes can only be redeemed once per account.

Genshin Impact codes are released periodically, frequently appearing in Hoyoverse's special programs that reveal information about future updates coming to the free PC game soon, but also to celebrate milestones or to coincide with new Genshin Impact events.  Here are all the current Genshin Impact codes for January 2023, and how to redeem them.

Have you been getting the Fortnite successfully logged out message? If so don't worry, as it seems to be an issue with the new Fortnite update (v23.20) that Epic Games is looking at right now. FIFA 23 TOTY - Team of the Year, for the uninitiated - is already on the horizon for this, most bizarre of seasons. The World Cup content is now a distant memory on Ultimate Team, and in its place will soon stand a handful of massively overpowered TOTY cards that will cost you a ton of coins to get in your squad if you're not lucky enough to pack one.

FIFA 23 TOTY players are generally the best of the best, and the super rare, overpowered offerings will stay relevant until the very end of the PC game cycle, so while adding one to your squad may be difficult, it is worth the effort.

What is the Destiny 2 Legendary Lost Sector today?

Are you looking for Destiny 2 Legendary Lost Sector locations in Destiny 2? Before you can take on Legend Lost Sectors, you need to complete all the normal Lost Sectors first. If you don't, the new Legend Lost Sectors will not appear on the map. Each day, the location, modifiers, and rewards rotate out for something new.

While many Destiny 2 Exotics can be bought from Xûr or even in the world loot pool, the Exotics in these special Lost Sector instances cannot, forcing players to explore these dangerous areas if they want the best equipment available. It's important to remember that Exotic drops are not guaranteed after completing these quests, so you may have to run through the same Lost Sector multiple times. You can go through the quests with a fireteam, but your rewards will be reduced to Enhancement Cores only.

The best open-world games on PC 2023

Looking for the best open-world games on PC? From the early days of gaming, with Ultima and Lords of Midnight, open-world games have always been right at home on PC - indeed, those pesky consoles often couldn't handle it. Compare the ambitious early version of Halo to the final, more confined result, for example - and only the PC could hold sprawling regions in the very first Elder Scrolls games. Nevertheless, the leap into full 3D with Grand Theft Auto 3 and The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind really brought the idea of open-world gaming to the masses.

These days, open-world games are their own genre. You can find accurate depictions of real-life cities or countries, huge fictional expanses with their own landmarks, complete worlds to check out - or even entire galaxies, depending on where you want to go on your next adventure. Not only are these the best open world games, but a lot of them show up in our best PC games list, too.

Genshin Impact events – all current and upcoming events

Want to know more about the upcoming Genshin Impact events? A new version of Genshin Impact arrives every six weeks, complete with new characters, quests, and events. It's difficult to keep track of which events are currently running and if there are any new ones coming soon, so here's a schedule for all current and upcoming Genshin Impact events.

There are usually a number of Genshin Impact events running simultaneously, and they aren't just in-game events. When a new Genshin Impact character joins the game, the devs launch a web event at the same time - players learn about the latest characters through an interactive story told through a web browser. Similar to some of the best RPG games, the rewards for completing different events range from in-game items like primogems and mora, to real life prizes like mouse mats and plushies.

Just like the Genshin Impact banners, most events are only available for a limited time, so it's worth participating as soon as you can. New events are usually added to Genshin Impact after an update, but it's worth keeping an eye out on this page as the devs do like to surprise the community.

What is the current and next Genshin Impact banner?

Genshin Impact banners rotate every few weeks on a precise schedule, and we always know what to expect thanks to regular updates from Hoyoverse. The developer of the anime game always keeps its fans in the loop with regular Twitter posts and livestreams, so you can plan where you want to spend your hard-earned Primogems.

With a two to three-week turnaround for banners, the roster of Genshin Impact characters is always changing, and the free PC game regularly introduces two new characters to wish for. Every limited-time character banner - or Event Wish - contains a five-star character, and three four-star characters with increased drop rates. There's also a Genshin Impact Weapon banner - Epitome Invocation - which runs alongside each character banner and changes weapons every update.

Best Destiny 2 Warlock builds for PvP and PvE in Arc 3.0

The best Destiny 2 Warlock builds have diversified massively since the subclass overhauls gave players more freedom to customise in this FPS game. Now players can not only customise their elemental subclass, armour, weapons, and mods, but they also have the opportunity to choose aspects and fragments, leading to some rather complex character builds.

These builds reflect the state of the current meta in Arc 3.0, considering the nature of the season's available activities and the broader context of the weapons, subclasses, and playstyles currently popular in PvP. Notably, players have found Destiny 2's Arc 3.0 overhaul underwhelming, so these builds reflect what's best in the meta of the free PC game. Another shake-up is on the way with Destiny 2 Lightfall and the forthcoming Strand subclass, but for now, we have you covered. Here are the best Destiny 2 Warlock builds for PvP and PvE in Arc 3.0.

In games it's often a delight to be proven wrong. Such as, for example, my longstanding belief that Dwarf Fortress would never make the biggest and most important change it possibly could, and fit itself with an interface fit for purpose.

Bay 12 Games have, of course, gone further than that, and released it for general sale on the biggest shop in the business after sixteen years as freeware. There's even a charming new graphics overhaul to replace the famous ASCII symbols which, depending on who you ask, might not have technically counted as "graphics" at all.

I'm not here to discuss the relative merits of this shiny new version and the "classic" version. Both will be updated in future, the latter still free, and neither expected to reach a full 1.0 release inside 20 years. All this chips around the edges of what I've been pondering, which is this: What exactly is Dwarf Fortress's place within our culture now, after a decade replete with games that looked to it for ideas?

In 2021 I reviewed Backbone, a masterpiece of 2D pixelart that was partly a point 'n' click detective noir game, and mostly a grim story-focused fever dream about collectivism. At the time I described it as "like The Good Place with more depression, or Disco Elysium with raccoons." Backbone has an ending so bizarre on a literal level that it defies description even if I wanted to spoil it. A while back developers Eggnut teased that they were working on a new game, and it turns out that game is Tails: The Backbone Preludes, a prequel that probably won't answer any questions you might've had about the ending of Backbone. It's also out very soon, on February 2nd.

Coffee Talk Episode 2

The next installment of the coffee shop-themed adventure game is coming soon. The Coffee Talk Episode 2 release date was announced by developer Toge Productions. It is set for April 20, 2023. It'll be published by Chorus Worldwide on PC, Xbox Series X|S, PS5, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

Check out the release date trailer.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=niilDMQXAoc

With a full title of Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly, the game will continue from Coffee Talk, which first released for PC and consoles in 2020. The game takes place in an urban fantasy version of Seattle, where supernatural races like humans, aliens, demons, elves, and more all coexist in a mostly-peaceful cosmopolitan city. Players will converse with customers, or watch customers interact, all the while preparing their orders and getting more of their individual stories.

The trailer for Coffee Talk Episode 2 shows off the familiar gameplay screen as seen in Coffee Talk, with the player-controlled Barista serving customers at the counter of a small urban coffee shop. The first customer is a "Mr. Hyde," and other characters, like a police officer named Jorji, as well as familiar faces like the green-haired Freya Fatima are shown later. A white-haired woman named Riona asks for a Blue Pea latte, and players can also create it "with art" by drawing pattens during the milk pour. Players can also check an in-game social media feed to see the activities of some characters as they post.

Coffee Talk Episode 2 lands on the PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on April 20, 2023. The first game is currently available on the aforementioned platforms, with the exception of PS5 and Xbox Series X.

Disgaea 7 C4 Character Video

The next character trailer from Disgaea 7 introduces Ceefour (which could be romanized as "Seefour", "C4," or "Shee-For"), a mysterious and maniacal lover of all things explosive. Like the party boy Shogun of Oedo, Weyasu, Ceefour is one of the game's main cast members. She's voiced by Rina Kitagawa, who voiced Lunafreya Nox Fleuret in Final Fantasy XV, Cure Honey in HappinessCharge Precure, and Saya Kogatana from Keijo!!!!!!!.

Check out the Disgaea 7 Ceefour trailer below.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oD0PTPD6aUU

Via the official website, Ceefour is described as an up-and-coming personality in the Hinomoto Netherworld. She is actually a phantom thief, and goes by the name "Mouse☆Girl". She robs rich folk with connections to the unpopular Oedo Shogunate, and her Robin Hood antics have endeared her to the public. She's normally got a carefree and ditzy streak, but changes personality abruptly when she's confronted with weapons, explosions, or the smell of gunpowder. She's so hooked on gunsmoke, in fact, that she starts feeling sick without it. Throughout Disgaea 7 Ceefour collects the "Makai Shinki," a series of Netherworldly artifacts. She says they're for her "research."

The Ceefour trailer also shows off her phantom thief outfit and one of her signature attacks, "Ecstasy Bomb." Ceefour runs through a crowd of foes, throwing grenades every which way. She then savors the explosions from afar. Another super move on her character page shows her firing a rocket launcher, sticking her leg out like one of the mariachis from the 1995 film Desperado.

Disgaea 7 launches on January 26, 2023 in Japan on the Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PS5.

Arknights Surtr Nendoroid Molten Giant

The next Arknights Nendoroid is of Surtr, and she'll come with some familiar items. She'll be able to wield a Laevatain, and a background sheet can make it seem like the Molten Giant is behind her. She'll show up in July 2023 in Japan first for ¥7,300. Then in September 2023, she'll show up in North America for $52.99.

Surtr arrives with her typical outfit. She can wield Laevatain, or you can make it look as though the Molten Giant is. There's a sheet that can be placed behind her with it. She also comes with ice cream. Her three face plates feature one smiling one, another shouting one, and a third that makes it look like she is eating her frozen treat.

Here's a closer look at the Nendoroid.

Good Smile Company regularly releases Nendoroids and figures of characters from the game. For example, Skadi showed up as a Nendoroid. Surtr also appeared before as a scale figure.

The Arknights Surtr Nendoroid will come to Japan in July 2023 and North America in September 2023. Pre-orders will close on March 2, 2023. Arknights is available on Android and Apple iOS devices.
