Although it was announced as part of a promo event for AMD's Radeon RX 7000 GPUs, Infinite's ray tracing works on any graphics card that can usually handle RT effects; all you need to do is download the update and flick it on in the display settings. Granted, it's not the most visually sumptuous form of ray tracing I've clapped a visor on. Reflections and global illumination are unchanged, as it's only sun shadows – shadows cast using a simulated sun as the light source – that get the RT treatment. |

Thus, in a spirit of pure scientific enquiry, I booted up Sons Of The Forest and immediately discovered that everyone has been lying to me, because Sons Of The Forest is not a survival game. Sons Of The Forest is very clearly an early 00s b-movie action thriller. The script was left in a filing cabinet in Slough in an empty office until the office was repurposed into a call centre, at which point it was found by a middle-manager whose paintball team thought it was awesome, and somehow he sent it to a game developer by mistake. This is what happened, and you cannot convince me otherwise. |

I've spent some time with the closed beta, poking and prodding at the game's live service cogs to determine whether it's running a smooth operation or a clunky one that may not be worth your time. And you know what? The game took me by surprise. So far, it's a decent time that's perhaps more along the lines of a Destiny, than say, World Of Warcraft. I genuinely believe it could garner a big community and have a bright future ahead of it - but when it comes to such a saturated space, I worry that Wayfinder may struggle to stand out, and won't attract players who are done with the usual rise 'n grind demands of these sorts of games. |

On March 9, 2023, Tokorozawa Sakura Town and Narita Anime Deck will sell Miku Day merchandise to commemorate the virtual diva. March 9th is usually Miku Day, since you can read three (for March) and nine to sound like "Miku." For those who are unable to make it on the date, re-releases will appear from April 10, 2034 to May 14, 2023. Now that the Fire Emblem Engage update added an Ancient Well, players have a chance of getting food weapons. These are pieces of equipment that look like various things you can eat, like desserts. They also can be consumed in battle to restore health, though you lose the item in the process. In total, eight types can be acquired from trading in used ones at the well. All of the Fire Emblem Engage food weapons have a D-level proficiency requirement. This means practically anyone can use them, so long as they are capable of equipping the weapon. Note that if refined, they turn into standard iron weapons.

Bandai Namco announced a release date for Sword Art Online Last Recollection. The game was originally announced at the Sword Art Online 10th anniversary event in November 2022 with a placeholder date of 2023. Now it has the more definitive launch date of October 6, 2023. It will release for PC and consoles worldwide. Sword Art Online Last Recollection is an action-RPG adaption of the Sword Art Online anime's War of Underworld arc. While it will follow the events of the anime, it will also bring in elements unique to the game timeline. This includes original characters such as Dorothy, who plays a prominent role in the story. The game promises to have the largest playable roster of the series to date. Bandai Namco's new trailer for Sword Art Online Last Recollection focuses largely on animated scenes from the game, so it's likely that it may contain spoilers for those not yet caught up on the shows. They're a rather fun duo with some tactically interesting opportunities. So if you bought the Expansion Pass, here's what characters who work alongside this duo can learn.
How Do You Unlock the Fire Emblem Engage Chrom and Robin DLCJust like Veronica, you first need to finish the Bandit Hideout Paralogue and get the Tiki DLC to access the Divine Paralogues area of the map. Once you do, you'll find Chrom and Robin's Emblem Bracelet at Divine Paralogue: Altar of Destiny. This fight involves getting past a barrier so your army can defeat both Chrom and Robin. The key is to break three crystals on the field all during the same turn. However, once you get close to them, Chrom and Robin will summon more units and cause certain areas of the field to flood.
What Skills Can You Inherit from the Fire Emblem Engage Chrom and Robin DLC?It will take a little time to start inheriting skills from Chrom and Robin, as the character equipping their Emblem Bracelet will need to get their bond level to 5 to get those new abilities. Some of the best abilities are Surprise Attack, which can prevent enemy counterattacks, and ones that involve ally assistance like Rally Spectrum and Charm.

The Blu-ray and DVD edition of the final Rebuild of Evangelion film is now on sale. Alongside previously detailed extras, one more thing comes with it. In the Evangelion 3.0+1.11 Blu-ray and DVD package, there's also a special motion comic. [Thanks Famitsu!] The motion comic is titled EVA-EXTRA-EXTRA. It is based on an exclusive 36-page booklet that was published in 2021. It was distributed exclusively to fans that attended a showing of Evangelion: 3.0+1.01, a reissued version of the movie with corrected cuts. The content of EVA-EXTRA-EXTRA consisted mainly of illustrations by various Khara staffers, but also contained a short manga prequel to Evangelion 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo, titled Evangelion 3.0 (-120 min.). Its story follows a scene that takes place before the beginning of Evangelion 3.0. It's a conversation between Asuka and Mari shortly before they begin Operation US, the orbital mission that opens the film. In addition to the EVA-EXTRA-EXTRA motion comic, the Evangelion 3.0+1.11 Blu-ray and DVD includes Evangelion: 3.0 (-46h), a deleted scene from the production of 3.0+1.0. Capcom offered more details about how the returning Cammy attack Hooligan Combination will work in Street Fighter 6. The company showed the new change to the move. When held, it can change whatever additional move follows it. The 20 second video showed how this works in practice. Here's the new Cammy Street Fighter 6 footage.
Hooligan Combination is a move that's been tied to both Cammy and Juni for years in Street Fighter. It first showed up back in Super Street Fighter II Turbo, and returned in follow-up entries like Street Fighter Alpha 3 and Street Fighter V. It's always been notable for allowing different combination options once Cammy performs it. This isn't the only look at Cammy in Street Fighter 6 to come up recently. Capcom also showed off her King Street stage in some screenshots. The company also noted she'll have Cannon Spike, Spiral Arrow, the Level 2 Super Art Killer Bee Spin, and Level 3 Super Art Delta Red Assault as attacks. People will get a chance to try the new Bayonetta Origins spin-off game via a free demo. Nintendo and PlatinumGames announced a trial is available now. This sample starts from the beginning of the game. It also offers a chance for people to test the Bayonetta Origins accessibility features. Nintendo noted that the Bayonetta Origins demo covers the beginning of the game. This means people can go through the first two chapters, which explain where Cereza is living and training, why she heads into the Avalon Forest, how she meets the lost demo Cheshire, and the first part of their journey together. Save data will transfer over to the full game. There's a new trailer as well, which shows a hint at things to come in those first two chapters.
Nintendo also shared a screenshot of the Bayonetta Origins accessibility menu in the options. People can determine how much damage Cereza will take from enemy attacks, with some options involving taking less or no damage. You can select magic usage to determine how much is used. You can change Cheshire's combo/champ to tap or hold. Enemy strength can be set. You can manually input Cereza's rhythm-based witch pulse or have it automatically perform while you hold a button. It is also possible to have a Guiding Light appear to lead you to central safe sanctuaries with save points.

Microsoft and Bethesda announced the Starfield release date. Following a delay that pushed it into 2023, it will finally appear worldwide on September 6, 2023. There's a trailer to go over everything today. However, one of the next big information blasts about it could be the Starfield Direct on June 11, 2023 that will follow Microsoft's Xbox Games Showcase. Here's the latest Starfield release date trailer. It shows both the insides of a space ship and plants with space stations and ruins on them. The narration also mentions that "The Eye's showing signs over another one of those big anomalies. Maybe you catch a smile and uncover the source of it all." This hints at one of the motives players will have for exploring the universe in the game. The new footage is followed by a message from Director Todd Howard expressing the team's excitement.
It's been quite a while since Microsoft and Bethesda showed off Starfield. It last appeared at the previous Xbox Games Showcase in June 2022. Back then, the focus was on giving people a better idea of what to expect from its gameplay. The Starfield release date is September 6, 2023. It will come to the Xbox Series X and PC. Akai Haato, or Haachama, of Hololive announced on her Twitter account that she will not attend Hololive Super Expo 2023. She was supposed to appear on the second day. According to her manager, this decision is due to concerns over her health. Because Akai Haato will be putting her all in 4th Fes, she will no longer appear on the Expo Stage during Day 2. Her manager, who was the one who tweeted this on her behalf, hoped that everyone can understand this difficult decision. Though the tweet said that she will limit her activities, it could only in reference to events. Haachama will likely still stream at her usual schedule once she recovers. Akai Haato first debuted in 2018 on YouTube as a member of the first generation of Hololive. Other VTubers who debuted in her era include Shirakami Fubuki and Aki Rosenthal. As of the time of writing, Akai Haato has over 1.41 million subscribers on her YouTube channel. Direct replies to the tweet announcing her condition are generally sympathetic and understanding. Team Ninja released a major update—Version 1.03—to Wo Long, with some fixes and adjustments specific to the Windows version of the game mentioned in the patch notes. The full list of updates is on Team Ninja's official website for the game. There are also some fixes for the Demo Version of the game. The 2.03 patch for the demo version of Wo Long will fix a bug that makes special effects of equipment in the storehouse disappear. It has also adjusted how mouse players can control the camera. This same camera fix is in the 1.03 patch for Wo Long. 2.03 has also fixed crashes and white flickering that may occur in certain environments, as well as general resolution issues. As for fixes that will be on all platforms, Version 1.03 of Wo Long will now allow guest players to skip cutscenes and leave after boss battles. This will make the online multiplayer experience a bit smoother. It also fixed a bug specific for players who had transferred over save data from the demo. There were instances of players who could not progress past where you meet Zhao Yun if you had a particular progression status in the demo. Wo Long is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. As mentioned earlier, the entire fix of adjustments and fixes for Version 1.03 is available on Team Ninja's website. In a short clip that Square Enix uploaded onto its Twitter account for FFXVI, we can see how the navigation system works. As a reminder, you can pet Torgal--Producer Naoki Yoshida actively encourages it—any time he is being a good boy. https://twitter.com/FF16_JP/status/1633407219256442880 As you can see from the clip, pressing a button will get Torgal to leave Clive's side. The dog will then run in the direction of where you need to go. It is possible that you will only be able to make Torgal guide you to the next location for a quest. That means that if you are looking for particular items and get turned around, Torgal might not be able to help you. However, since this is a feature from a game still in development, things will not be clear until the game launches. Torgal is Clive's dog in Final Fantasy XVI. In a previous interview that Famitsu conducted with the development team, we learned that he can also aid Clive in combat. Torgal can help attack enemies, which means he can contribute to your combo and prevent you from losing it. Players who play with the manual setting on can also directly control Torgal. Kadokawa started selling volume 1 of the Detroit: Become Human - Tokyo Stories manga. This is an official spin-off comic based on the adventure game of the same name. The story takes place in Tokyo, following a human girl and various sentient androids. It costs 726 JPY, which is around $5.30. [Thanks, Game Watch!] Unlike how the actual Detroit: Become Human game depicted a fairly rough political situation between humans and androids, Japan in 2038 embraced life with them in the manga. For example, Reina is a popular android idol. There is a positive and optimistic coexistence between humans and androids. However, in the shadows, humans who lost their jobs as a result of the androids have been taking out their frustrations on them. Amidst all that, deviant androids (those who gained sentience) started appearing. Detroit: Become Human - Tokyo Stories will focus on a story of android rebellion, though it centers on a human girl. The manga first came out in July 2022. As of the time of writing, there does not appear to be an official English localization. Overwatch 2 players will be able to get a free Mumen Rider skin for Soldier: 76 as part of the game's collaboration with One Punch Man. The crossover event will run from March 7, 2023 to April 6, 2023. While previous outfits Blizzard revealed for the collaboration cost coins, the Mumen Rider skin will be one people can earn. In order to earn the Mumen Rider skin for Soldier: 76 in Overwatch 2, you have to complete 24 matches. These matches can be in the Unranked, Competitive, or Arcade modes. The Mumen Rider skin does not come with a pose like Terrible Tornado's, nor is there a dedicated blog post behind its design. Blizzard Entertainment first shared that the Mumen Rider skin would appear in Overwatch 2 in mid-February 2023. However, it did not show off Soldier: 76 in action wearing it. In One Punch Man, Mumen Rider is a C-Class hero. Combat-wise, he is leagues behind the other characters who are part of the Overwatch 2 collaboration (Saitama, Terrible Tornado, and Genos). Despite of that, however, he is a very brave, honorable, and passionate hero. Mumen Rider is also one of the few characters who recognize and acknowledge Saitama's strength. Xbox and PC fans can get ready to rock, as Guilty Gear: Strive is ready for them. Xbox Game Pass subscribers can now play Guilty Gear: Strive on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC as part of their subscription offering. The update was announced in a March 7, 2023 update posted to the Xbox Wire blog and the official Guilty Gear PR account. The game supports rollback netcode for online play, and cross-platform matchmaking. The Game Pass version of Guilty Gear: Strive on Xbox and PC supports both local installation via console or PC and cloud streaming via the ongoing beta client of Xbox Cloud Gaming. As for content, the version of the game offered via Game Pass is the standard edition that debuted in June 2021. That means it includes the launch roster, but no additional characters. Here we go again! Wave 3 of the Fire Emblem Engage DLC is here, which means so is Veronica and her wide array of skills. She's interesting! Especially since part of her mechanic nods to her ability to use heroes from other worlds as allies. As long as you bought the Expansion Pass, it's fairly easy to add her to your roster of Emblems and start teaching her abilities to characters in your army.
How Do You Unlock the Fire Emblem Engage Veronica DLCLike the other Emblem Bracelets, you first need to finish the Bandit Hideout Paralogue and get the Tiki DLC. Once you do, head to the Divine Paralogues part of the world map. Her map is Divine Paralogue: Heroes' Sanctuary. This isn't too difficult a map. However, go in with prepared parties and one healer in each group. This is because the gimmick involves positioning two units on designated markers on the east and west sides of the map to gain access to the floating island where Veronica is. However, as you get close, she will use her Colorless Stone ability to summon more units to fight for her.
What Skills Can You Inherit from the Fire Emblem Engage Veronica DLC?As with all Emblem Rings and Bracelets, the character equipping it must hit a bond level 5 with the Emblem hero to start inheriting skills. Her inherited skills are about boosting magical power, increasing someone's attack if they're low on health, and protecting against knives.
