Horizon Forbidden West's Burning Shores DLC is out this week, and with it comes the revelation that protagonist Aloy is queer. And not only that, it finally gives the hero, who famously has a tendency to try to take on too much alone, the option to enter a romantic relationship for the first time in the series.

Warzone 2 map – Every point of interest in Al Mazrah

Want to know more about the Warzone 2 map? The newest DZ for the battle royale game is Al Mazrah. Set in the fictional country of the Republic of Adal, Al Mazrah's metropolitan area plays a massive role in Warzone 2, setting the stage for you and your squad to dominate the competition.

The developers want to unify the Call of Duty experience in Al Mazrah. This means any story beats and engine upgrades in Modern Warfare 2 also apply to the battle royale game. Huge upgrades have been made to vehicles, the AI, and water in Warzone 2, with all of these affecting how the free PC game plays out.

Best Warzone 2 shotgun in Season 2 Reloaded

Looking for the best Warzone 2 shotgun? The short-range weapons might not immediately spring to mind when you think about the sprawling Al Mazrah and its high, long-distance vantage points. Still, you may be surprised about just how well it might serve you. After all, the map is dense with buildings, and you're likely to run into an opponent tucked into the corner of a room eventually. You will also certainly get more up close and personal once the storm circles close in.

The best shotgun in Warzone 2 is the KV Broadside. With an exceptional rate of fire, this shotgun can decimate foes at close range in the battle royale game. However, we'd certainly recommend running Overkill so you can accompany your shotgun with one of the best Warzone 2 guns - ideally one with a bit more range.

Assassin's Creed Mirage release date speculation, news, and gameplay

The Assassin's Creed Mirage release date may indeed be as mysterious as the assassins themselves. We know that Mirage is an homage to the original Assassin's Creed games, bringing back the stealth-focused gameplay in a densely populated Middle-Eastern city. While it's still an action-adventure game with a strong narrative focus, long-time Assassin's Creed players will be reminded of Ezio's adventures rather than Eivor's.

Assassin's Creed Mirage, which was announced in September 2022, is part of Ubisoft's larger Assassin's Creed series. Following the release of Valhalla back in 2020, it's the thirteenth major instalment. Like other AC games, Mirage is all about fascinating historical settings, intriguing characters, and sneakiness - something that will hopefully place Mirage among the best PC games when it eventually releases. Whether you're a veteran assassin or new to stealth games, here's everything we know about Assassin's Creed Mirage.

How to change quests in Dead Island 2

Need to know how to change quests in Dead Island 2? Switching quests and tracking the right one is essential if you pick up a side quest by mistake. We know from previous Dead Island games that there are always desperate NPCs coming to you with their - understandable - problems in the new, zombie-plagued existence. Dead Island 2, being faithful to the original despite the change in developer, is no different.

When you're busy exploring HELL-A in Dead Island 2, you'll come across some colourful characters all wanting your help in one way or another - though, being LA, these differ some from previous Dead Island games, with social media influencers and pants-less party animals among the Californian NPCs. If you accidentally take on a six-wave zombie-slaying side quest and need to return to your main quest before you can tackle it, like we did for our Dead Island 2 review, you'll need to retrigger the original quest or you won't be able to progress through the zombie game. That said, here's how to switch quests in Dead Island 2.

Genshin Impact tier list April 2023: the best characters in 3.6

Looking for a Genshin Impact tier list? There are currently 66 Genshin Impact characters available, so there's no shortage of candidates for your dream team. But with so many different weapons, elementals, talents, ascension bonuses, and constellation upgrades, finding your favourites can be challenging.

Don't let the placement of the characters on our Genshin Impact tier list deter you from pulling on the next character banner. While base stats and elemental abilities are important, the value of a character also depends on personal playstyle, available weapons and artifacts, and team composition. That being said, if your favourite Genshin Impact character is in C tier or below, you may struggle to get past some of the more challenging Spiral Abyss floors. Don't worry too much if your favourite Genshin Impact character is on one of the lower tiers; you can still make it work with our recommended Genshin Impact builds. Being on a lower tier in the free PC game means that there are better alternatives, or the character needs a very specific build or team to shine.

Freshly announced puzzle game Crime O'Clock will be putting you in the shoes of a time-travelling detective when it comes out on June 30th, its release date seemingly perfectly timed (sorry) to coincide with Capcom's object-hopping time puzzle detective game, Ghost Trick. In all seriousness, though, Crime O'Clock looks to be its own distinctive beast (and not just because you seem to play as a rabbit). It has shades of Where's Wally? (or Waldo, Wanda, Willy, Valli, and my favourite, Ali for international readers) as you're given densely illustrated maps to navigate, and pick out key details in order to stitch together clues to solve cases. A lot of RPGs with stats and dialogue options don't actually give you options. Sometimes you're presented with a skill check and if one of your stats isn't an arbitrary number like, I dunno, seven, then whoever it is you spoke with (a king, a bard, an elf) might shutter their mouths forever.

Betrayal At Club Low is a CRPG that we're playing for our Game Club this month, and which understands the unpredictability of a face-to-face wobble of the lips, and how befriending or swindling or aggravating someone is determined by so much more than a single seven. Atelier Marie Remake Pre-orders Open, Art Shared

Koei Tecmo announced people can now pre-order Atelier Marie Remake on the PS4, PS5, Switch, and PC. There is an in-game item incentive accompanying these. People get a Useful Items Set for buying it ahead of launch. In addition, new screenshots, a video clip, and character art appeared. The company also confirmed that people who get the Digital Deluxe Edition that includes the Atelier Marie Plus copy will be able to play that original version via the remake's main menu.

First, here's the new Atelier Marie Remake art. It features Marie shopping with fellow student Kreis Kuhl. She seems excited to go through things, but he's a bit more exasperated.

As for the new screenshots, they're designed to show how the flow of the game goes. Marie may find herself needing to complete goals for people or to progress as an alchemist. She'll then head to different locations to gather materials. That also means perhaps fighting battles against monsters with allies like Enderk Yard and Natalie Kohdelia.

Finally, here's the video clip.

Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg will come to the PS4, PS5, Switch, and PC on July 12, 2023, and people can pre-order it now. Atelier Marie Plus will be available the same day for people who purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition.

Tears of the Kingdom Link Amiibo

Those looking to prepare for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom's release on May 12, 2023 might be wondering if they can use their amiibo collection to get some in-game bonuses. Or alternatively, whether it's worth picking up the new Link amiibo. Well, the good news is that Nintendo confirmed that there will be rewards for using amiibos in Tears of the Kingdom. The bad news is that details are thin on the ground at the moment.

What Nintendo confirmed is that the new Link amiibo will grant weapons, materials and a new glider skin. Several other The Legend of Zelda amiibo will also unlock glider skins, including Zelda and Loftwing (Skyward Sword), Link (Majora's Mask), and Link [Rider] (Breath of the Wild). The official website also listed bonuses for the amiibos of Link (Ocarina of Time), Link (The Legend of Zelda), Link (Twilight Princess), Toon Link and Zelda (Wind Waker), Link (Skyward Sword) and Bokoblin (Breath of the Wild). While the site states that each amiibo will grant "helpful materials, weapons or paraglider fabrics," it does not specify which amiibo will grant which bonus. If it works like Breath of the Wild, rewards could be somewhat random.

You can get a look at some of the glider skins and which amiibo unlock them, below:

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom launches on May 12, 2023 for Nintendo Switch.

Genshin Impact Chords of the Forest Web Event Begins

HoYoVerse announced a new Genshin Impact Chords of the Forest web event. This one is designed to celebrate the Sumeru region's soundtrack. The goal is to properly play songs. If you do so successfully for the five songs, you get Primogems. However, there is a limit as to how many people can get the currency in-game, so it is best to take part as soon as possible. Five million can take part.

How to participate in Genshin Impact Chords of the Forest web event

First, you need to head to the official site for the web event. Though if you're a PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 player, you'll need to go through the console and an in-game message to do so. As long as you hit Adventure Rank 10, you'll be able to take part.

Once you get to the page, you'll be able to click the "begin performance" button to use a Vintage Lyre to play songs. For each track, you'll see notes above, and you'll need to press the correct buttons to play the song. After you do so, you'll learn what song from Sumeru's soundtrack it was and get a chance to "keep exploring" to play more songs.

The five tracks are "Settlement for Exiles," "Polumnia Omnia," "Benevolence Bequeathed," "Ruins of Scorching Might," and "Her Wishes." After playing each one once, you can choose to "share to obtain Primogems." You'll then get a code you can enter in the game to get 40 Primogems.

Genshin Impact is available for the PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and the Chords of the Forest web event runs until April 27, 2023.

Hear a Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Future Redeemed DLC Soundtrack Song

During the latest Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Future Redeemed DLC trailer, we got to hear both voice acting and soundtrack songs from the add-on. Now, there's another chance to hear some of its music. It shared the over three minute song called, "Now Battle!!!."

Here's the full song. It doesn't feature an animated music video with it. Rather, people can see the key art that shows the six characters Matthew, A, Nikol, Glimmer, Shulk, and Rex while the track plays. Given the track's title and its ambiance, it seems like "Now Battle!!!" is the sort of song that will be one of the battle themes in the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Future Redeemed DLC soundtrack.

Nintendo's been sharing a lot of details about the expansion ahead of its debut. For example, it went over the main Future Redeemed characters. There is also a relationship chart showing how everybody knows each other.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is available for the Nintendo Switch, and the Future Redeemed DLC will release on April 25, 2023.

See Clive Use Bahamut and Shiva's Abilities in Final Fantasy XVI

Square Enix regularly shares brief Final Fantasy XVI gameplay clips, and the latest features Clive tapping into both Bahamut and Shiva's powers. In many videos, we've seen him tap into Eikon's abilities to use them in fights. Here, we get to watch him switch between two different ones and use some of their signature skills.

The video begins with a level 23 Clive tapping into Shiva's powers in Final Fantasy XVI. The UI on the right notes that the Blizzard, Cold Snap, Mesmerize, and Rime are available to him. However, which skills he can use depend on his current position. As an example, Blizzard doesn't show up right away.

After that, we get to see Clive use Bahamut's power while tapping into Bahamut's power in Final Fantasy XVI. Some of the skills shown during these parts are Dia, Gigaflare, Impulse, and Wings of Light. At about the five second mark, he uses Gigaflare against a level 22 Stone Commandant.

In the event someone wanted to see more, there's always the April 2023 State of Play. It focused entirely on the game.

Final Fantasy XVI will come to the PlayStation 5 on June 22, 2023. There will be a six-month exclusivity period. A pre-launch celebration will be held on June 11, 2023 in Los Angeles, California and streamed online.

Sobble Plush Joins Build-a-Bear Pokemon Collection

The next Pokemon plush to show up at Build-a-Bear is Sobble. This character debuted in November 2019 as one of the three new starters in Pokemon Sword and Shield. The retailer updated its online website with an exclusive bundle. However, people might also see the character without the bundle option in physical stores immediately. Online, the bundle is $64/£50. However, outside the bundle the stuffed toy is $34/£26.

The online exclusive bundle includes three other items with the stuffed animal. People get Sobble, a Sobble Shirt, a Sobble Cape, and there's already a sound chip inside the character with five different sounds. The site notes the shirt would normally be $11.50/£9 alone and the cape $10.50/£9.

[gallery columns="2" size="full" ids="960045,960046" link="file"]

There are some details with Sobble that don't always apply to Pokemon plush at the store. If you buy it online, you can't get an "unstuffed" version that could be filled at home or at a store. You also can't add any scents to it.

This means that all of the Pokemon Sword and Shield starters made their debut at Build-a-Bear. Scorbunny was the first one in the "crew" to show up. It debuted in May 2021. Grookey followed in May 2022.

Sobble is now available at Build-a-Bear. Pokemon Sword and Shield can be found on the Nintendo Switch.

Genshin Impact Sumeru soundtrack

The Unfathomable Sand Dunes soundtrack, which is the second collection of Sumeru music, for Genshin Impact is now available on the game's official YouTube channel. In total, there are three discs. The first two discs are about an hour and a half long, whereas the third one is less than half an hour. There are timestamps on all of the videos if there is a particular track you wish to listen to.

In total, there are 108 tracks across three discs. All of the music from The Unfathomable Sand Dunes are ones that play in the Sumeru region in Genshin Impact. Aside from listening to it via YouTube, you can also check it out on Spotify and iTunes. Since these are from the game, those who have caught up with the exploration and Archon Quests should recognize all of these pieces.

In the past, HoYoVerse released soundtrack EPs, which would showcase the characters from the region. For Sumeru tracks, HoYoVerse used characters like Cyno and Nahida to introduce samples from the Genshin Impact OST. These EPs would generally feature about three tracks.

Genshin Impact is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. You can listen to the second Sumeru soundtrack for Genshin Impact via YouTube, Spotify, or iTunes.
