Is Overwatch 2 Steam Deck compatible?

Is Overwatch 2 Steam Deck compatible? Overwatch 2 feels like a natural fit for the Steam Deck, given how easy the FPS game is to run on less-powerful hardware. Now, with Blizzard's hero shooter finally coming to Steam, it should be easier than ever to play on the go.

The Overwatch 2 system requirements state you'll need 50GB of storage space, before you can start escorting the payload. Pick up one of the best microSD cards for Steam Deck, so you can be prepared, especially if you're still rocking the 64GB model of the PC gaming handheld.

Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty release date, trailer, and story

When is the Phantom Liberty release date? The upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 expansion, dubbed a "spy-thriller" by developer CD Projekt Red, promises to drop you in a brand-new part of Night City. As V, a Cyberpunk for hire, we'll be spying around and fighting military forces along with our new buddy, FIA Agent Solomon Reed, played by Idris Elba.

We first saw the expansion during The Game Awards 2022, but there's still so much we don't know about this upcoming RPG game expansion. Judging by CD Projekt Red's past games, there's a good chance Phantom Liberty will redeem Cyberpunk 2077 after its rather shaky start, with the potential for the game to end up on our best PC games list by the end of the year. Here's everything we know about Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty so far.

How to help Pandirna in Baldur's Gate 3

How do you help Pandirna in Baldur's Gate 3? You will come across a locked storehouse as you explore Emerald Grove. Inside are all sorts of nicknacks, but also a Tiefling named Pandirna. Unfortunately for her, she seems to be in quite a predicament: she can't use her legs. After drinking a potion to become stronger, she seems to be paralyzed from the waist down.

This is just one of many puzzles and riddles that, according to our Baldur's Gate 3 review, make this RPG "beautifully complex." Luckily, you can help Pandirna in Baldur's Gate 3 by using one of your many spells. If your main character's selection of spells can't help her, then one of your many potential BG3 companions, the Half-Elf Cleric Shadowheart, can help her out instead.

Where to find the Baldur's Gate 3 Underdark entrances

Where are the Baldur's Gate 3 Underdark entrances? At some point in your adventure, you can either venture on a less-than-ideal path above the surface or discover a way through a series of tunnels deep underground. The Underdark is a notoriously dangerous place, but sooner or later, you'll need to traverse deep below the surface.

Some Underdark entrances in Baldur's Gate 3 could require specific BG3 spells. We loved exploring many places for our Baldur's Gate 3 review, and the Underdark is probably one of the most memorable locations in the game. So, no matter which of the many BG3 classes are in your party, there's always a way to reveal a path to this area and we're here to explain how.

When is the next Escape from Tarkov server wipe?

When is the next Escape from Tarkov server wipe? We all know that the main aim in Escape from Tarkov isn't to rack up a high body count - it's the loot. The glorious mountains of weapons and equipment you can stockpile after several months' worth of grinding. The only issue, then, is when the Tarkov servers get wiped and you have to start again, but when do these wipes occur, and is there one planned soon?

The tense FPS game is all about getting in and out as efficiently as you can, as staying alive also means that you keep whatever swag you managed to pilfer during your time in the world. Increasing the quality of your gear means you're much more likely to stay alive during your next run, and the run after that, and so on. Every once in a while, though, the servers undergo a complete wipe, putting all players back to square, and level, one, but when is the next Escape from Tarkov server wipe?

Dark and Darker guide, tips, and tricks

What are the best beginner tips for Dark and Darker? After numerous well-received playtests, Dark and Darker was set to dominate the hardcore, high-fantasy extraction genre it was pioneering until some legal trouble forced it off Steam. Developer Ironmace was keen to get the game back into players' hands, surprising its clamoring community with a sudden early access release on August 7, along with a new distribution partner.

Dark and Darker provides a slower, challenging multiplayer experience that many have latched onto for its glorious highs and crushing lows. While the Dark and Darker release date might seem far away, at least we have the early access build to play. So, aside from checking whether you've got the right system requirements to run the multiplayer game, what are the best things a beginner can do to get started in Dark and Darker?

As the Dark and Dark early access launch continues, Ironmace has confirmed already that the RPG game will feature microtransactions, and that it is deploying a range of fixes to help with stuttering issues.      Lords of the Fallen is Dark Souls 4.5 for horror fans

Lords of the Fallen is a strange one. It hacked its way onto the scene with medieval fanfare back in 2014, and the court of public memory has not been especially kind to it. The critical consensus is that it fell short of true greatness, yet it sustains a modest reputation as one of the first authentic soulslikes. It's this enduring legacy that Hexworks is looking to consummate with its upcoming reboot, but the landscape of the genre in 2023 is worlds away from 2014. Simply being like Dark Souls isn't enough anymore, and as I head into PCGamesN's Lords of the Fallen preview, I'm all too aware that this reboot has a lot to prove.

     How long is Atlas Fallen?

How long is Atlas Fallen? Since the first trailer for Atlas Fallen debuted at Gamescom 2022, fans have been curious to see whether or not the new action RPG from Deck13 Interactive is worth picking up. One of the deciding factors for many is the game's length.

Speaking of which, the game's difficulty is another aspect to consider. Had you asked me yesterday about the best Baldur's Gate 3 class, I might have picked Bard - versatile, swish, a solid support both in and out of combat - but that was before I discovered the ancient and honourable Larian discipline of barrelmancy. As the name suggests, it's all about doing mildly game-breaking things with barrels, crates and other heavy containers, by taking advantage of high strength, the Throw command, and the fact that Larian RPG characters can somehow fit items as big as they are into their inventories, without bursting apart like rotten haggis.

A straightforward tactic: consider lugging a few oil barrels into a throne room, and dropping them all around the resident big cheese before you confront him. Given reasonably careful distribution, it's possible to finish a whole battle this way in a single turn. Fortunately, while Baldur's Gate NPCs can be eagle-eyed when it comes to sneaking rogues, they're perfectly indifferent to people surrounding them with heavy explosives.

I can feel all my Cool Culture Critic points dribbling out of my ears as I type this, but I've never actually watched Twin Peaks, David Lynch's acclaimed paranormal smalltown TV show. The nearest I've come to doing so is that one episode of the Simpsons. The major things I am given to understand about it are that it is very confusing, sexy in a ghoulish way, and 100% comprised of memes in the same way that Hamlet has retrospectively become a book's worth of quotations.

I have, however, played a surprising number of very decent games that are influenced by Twin Peaks - Zelda: Link's Awakening, Silent Hill and the amazing Lone Survivor, to pick a few that I know about for sure. So who knows, perhaps I won't be utterly bamfoodled and confluzzled by Twin Peaks: Into The Night, an unofficial PS1-style adaptation of the game that has just surfaced on Itch.

Lords Of The Fallen is a curious sequel/reboot of the 2014 Lords Of The Fallen. It takes the Soulslike credentials of the original, gives them a grittier makeover, a much bigger world, and a magical lantern that reveals a gnarlier version of the universe you can actually step into.

Having spent roughly 90-minutes with the game, I'd say it has strong Dark Souls 2 energy mixed with a realm-hopping gimmick that's surprisingly impressive. While it's definitely too early to make big claims, I could see LOTF as a genuine competitor in the saturated Soulslike arena.

I've been bolting together some ideas for a longer Starfield feature and while plying the sliplanes of Reddit, stumbled on this conversation about the game's handling of time. As many of you will know/be very weary of hearing, Starfield features hundreds of planets, together with moons and space stations, scattered around the galaxy in different solar systems. Real-life planets, of course, aren't fixed points: they rotate and orbit their stars at the different speeds, depending on their mass and distance, which means that days, nights and seasons have different durations.

Starfield appears to model this to some degree. Bethesda's Starfield Direct from June makes a fleeting distinction (thanks, JuiceHead33) between "local time", corresponding to where you land on a planet's surface, and "UT", which sounds like an abbreviation of "universal time", and presumably describes the passage of time throughout the wider galaxy. Both are displayed in 24 hour format. You can explore planet locations at different local times, as indicated by your fancy neo-Casio watch, with shifting lighting conditions that seem to correspond to the spinning of the planet around its sun. There's footage showing one particular area, The Hitching Post in Akila City, by day and night. The game also seems to model planetary alignments - there's the beginnings of a solar eclipse visible during one segment of the video.

The latest Star Ocean The Second Story R character trailer features Dias Flac. He's one of Rena's childhood friends and a renowned swordsman. As such, he's one of those route-locked folks. That means that while you may see him if you pick Claude as your protagonist, he'll only join your party as an ally if you go through Rena's story.

Here's the full Dias Flac Star Ocean The Second Story R trailer. It begins with two story segments involving the tournament. Then, we see him in-battle. In order, he uses his Phoenix Drive, Phoenix Blast, Pale Moonlight, and Crescent Cross Special Arts.

In case you missed some of the past Star Ocean The Second Story R character teasers that appeared before Dias Flac's, here are the other six that showed up so far.

We still haven't seen introductions for Chisato Madison, Ernest Raviede, Leon Gehste, Noel Chandler, Opera Vectra, or Welch Vineyard.

Some Materials Revealed for Genshin Impact's Lyney

HoYoVerse shared a new bit of insight into Lyney, the new five-star character joining Genshin Impact, and this included information about his materials. Both his Ascension and Talent level-up materials were shown. However, the developer didn't share the new material dropped by a boss used to ascend him.

When it comes to Lyney's Ascensions, you'll need four kinds of Genshin Impact materials. As he is a Pyro character, you'll need Agnidus Agate Slivers, Fragments, Chunks, and Gemstones for him. You'll also need the new Rainbow Rose flower found in Fontaine. In addition, the Recruit's Insignias, Sergeant's Insignias, and Lieutenant's Insignias will be needed. These will all be paired with the new Normal Boss drop. Of those, the Agnidus Agate line and Fatui insignia drops are already available in-game for farming purposes.

The Genshin Impact Lyney Talent level-up materials involve three items. Again, you'll need the Fatui insignias already available as drops from Fatui enemies in-gam enow. You'll also need the Primordial Greenbloom you get from the Guardian of Apep's Oasis Trounce Domain in Sumeru. Honkai: Star Rail Amazon Prime Gaming Offer Returns Alongside Kafka

Once again, there's a Honkai: Star Rail Amazon Prime Gaming offer. This is a now regular promotion that gives Prime subscribers a code for bonus items in-game. This time, the small bundle of virtual items is designed to celebrate the launch of Kafka, who became a playable character in Honkai: Star Rail on August 9, 2023. As usual, Stellar Jades are included in the bundle once you redeem the code either in-game or via the official site.

Here's the list of three kinds of items you'll get in the Honkai: Star Rail Amazon Prime Gaming bundle after claiming and redeeming it.

  • 5 Refined Aethers
  • 60 Stellar Jades
  • 40,000 Credits

As a reminder, you will need to collect 160 Stellar Jades for a single pull on one of the character or Light Cone Warp banners in Honkai: Star Rail.

This actually changes things up a bit. With the Blade Amazon Prime Gaming offer, we still got the same number of Stellar Jades. However, we also ended up with 5 Disposable Kinetic Cannons and 8 Traveler's Guides. However, the Luocha bundle was the same as Kafka's.

Honkai: Star Rail is available for PCs and mobile devices, and a PS5 version will arrive in 2023. The Honkai: Star Rail Amazon Prime Gaming offer is available until August 29, 2023, which is also when Kafka's banner ends.

Lost Ark 2023 Roadmap

Smilegate and Amazon revealed the 2023 Lost Ark roadmap. It covers everything coming to the game between August and December this year. There are no exact dates for updates, but it offers a general overview of things to come. In particular, the new continents of Pleccia and Voldis, as well as the Assassin's Souleater subclass and Jump-Start servers, will be available in Lost Ark.

In August 2023, people can expect quality of life changes in Lost Ark. There will be more Chaos Dungeon rewards like cards, gems, and silver. Guardian Raids will offer more rewards and you'll be able to only do one per day. It will also be easier to get cards.

In September 2023, a lot of changes are coming. We'll get to build Affection Rapport with both Nineveh and Thirain in Lost Ark. You can also play on a Jump-Start server in each region. For example, the South Vern pass will get you to item level 1415. The Primal Island battle royale event will be open for people who hit item level 1490. Furthermore, there will be a new Ark Pass and Yoz's Jar consumable to get skins.

The 2023 Lost Ark Roadmap only noted two updates for October. One is a Caliligos Trial Guardian Raid with new titles to earn. The other is the continent of Pleccia, which people can only access if they hit item level 1475.

Likewise, in November 2023 only two additions were noted. Both deal with the Lost Ark Souleater. One is that it will appear, allowing someone to enter Reaper Mode if they filled Soul Stones and fill a Progression Meter to use certain skills. There will also be an Express Event and progression events.

Finally, the December 2023 events in the Lost Ark roadmap brought up more activities for higher level players. People will be able to get a Ductility Catalyst to make Elixirs to imbue their equipment for special effects. There will also be the continent of Voldis, which we can visit at item level 1520. It will be home to the Abyssal Dungeon Ivory Tower. You can only head into it if you're at least item level 1600 for normal. The hard version requires you to hit item level 1620. Finally, there'll be another new Ark Pass that month.

Here's a video going over the 2023 Lost Ark roadmap for 2023. It featured Franchise Leader Soomin Park, Product Manager Andy Lim, Head of Editorial Henry Stelter, and Community Manager Roxx as they talked about what to expect between August and December 2023.

The brilliance of sushi is in its simple but gorgeous flavours and the wide variety of experiences it can offer. Because the taste comes from just a few ingredients, each piece of fish and grain of rice has to be the best it can possibly be. Dave the Diver is much the same: it's a game of many different flavours, each one simple yet executed fantastically. There are a couple of bad dishes in its wide assortment, but the rest are so good it's hard to care.

Baldur's Gate 3 has absolutely exploded to a degree I did not see coming. While I certainly thought Larian's latest epic RPG was going to do well, I did not foresee just how many people were going to gravitate toward it, which makes me even sadder that I haven't been able to play it yet. I tried selling my niece to get the money, but nobody wanted her.
