Naked Rain is developing the game and NetEase Games is publishing it, but we haven't yet received word of a release date. Project Mugen could be the anime meets open-world experience many of us have been waiting for, judging by its official art and Persona-style teaser clips so far. Larian Studios managed to deliver the ultimate Dungeons & Dragons experience in the form of a video game with Baldur's Gate 3, especially when you consider the quirky cast of characters. Many of us devoted fans have been wondering about one companion in particular, though, and about her ending. Keep it there for as long as you can. Hurts after a while, huh? This is the default position for Jak, awesome FPS wizard with a magic gun arm, and possessor of a personality so inoffensive that when I am not playing the game I struggle to remember he exists. I noticed how hard it is to hold your arm in wizard mode when I was about 10 hours into the 20-or-so span of Immortals Of Aveum, and half way through is too early for a game to make me go all Cinema Sins out of boredom. Despite this, I very much appreciate Immortals Of Aveum taking a crack at a good old-fashioned mid-length action adventure. There are shining moments where it's great fun (though sometimes by accident; I have never, in my life, laughed so hard at some tiny wee orphans being exploded in front of me), but it's let down by its FPS combat becoming too repetitive too early, which is the kiss of death for a game built around shooting stuff. It also commits the terrible crime of taking itself too seriously, but then I level that charge at most fantasy I encounter. |

In a Duskin news release on August 21, 2023, it was announced that Mister Donut, a restaurant chain in Japan that serves coffee, donuts, and other food, will be collaborating with the Pokemon company for the sixth time this winter. Pokemon-themed donuts and goods will be available sequentially from early November 2023 at Mister Donut locations across Japan. This year's campaign is titled the "Be carefree, relax, and have a good night" campaign. The donuts and goods sets will be available from early November 2023, and the celebratory new year's lucky bags will be available from late December 2023. In addition to the Pikachu Donuts, which are available every year, this year Mister Donut will be selling donuts in Psyduck's image. Fans of the original Pokemon: Indigo League anime may remember Psyduck as one of Misty's companions. More details about the Psyduck donut and this year's merchandise are to be revealed at a later date. That is also when we will get a first look at that variety of donut. In the August 21, 2023 issue of Weekly Shonen Jump 38, it was announced that the serialization for Black Clover, a fantasy manga written and illustrated by Yūki Tabata, is being transferred to the Jump GIGA magazine. After the release of chapter 368 of Black Clover, all chapters from then on will be released in Weekly Shonen Jump's sister magazine, Jump GIGA, starting this winter 2023. [Thanks, Natalie!] As Jump GIGA releases every three months, this means Tabata will also be moving to a quarterly schedule. He sent a message to fans explaining that he no longer believes Weekly Shonen Jump's schedule aligns with his own personal writing schedule, so he has made the decision to move Black Clover to Jump GIGA after consulting with the editorial department. Tabata's message read:
The official Shonen Jump News Twitter publicly revealed the announcement of the transfer during the final arc of Black Clover. The original announcement page plus an English translation of it was shared to the public. Tabata was recently on hiatus from writing Black Clover in May 2023. Hololive Vtuber Sakura Miko announced on her official Twitter account that she will be taking a hiatus to mourn the death of a family member. She spoke kindly of her recently deceased grandfather. She did not note how long this break will last. Sakura Miko will be return to her family home to take a brief hiatus from her usual streaming and promotional activities. She wrote that she will take this time to spend with her family, grieve, and process her emotions before returning to her regular schedule. She also included that it would make her happy for her supporters to not worry for her sake and to patiently wait for her return, just as they had done during her previous hiatus. She had just recently returned from a streaming hiatus after contracting COVID-19 in May 2023. Here is her official announcement. In it, she noted that her time off will be brief.
