Armored Core VI is hard enough if you're playing it the right way, but have you considered trying to beat every boss without guns, laser swords, or rocket launchers? That's what Twitch streamer ZeroLenny just did in what he's billed as one of his least-fun stunt runs ever: He managed to beat the game using mech…

One of the advantages of HBO moving the timeline of The Last of Us backward 10 years from the video game's source material is that we are now living in the year in which it's set.      Dave Bautista resurrects a classic '90s commercial for Mortal Kombat 1

If you're old enough, like the age of the MK series with Mortal Kombat 1, or you've seen the grainy version on YouTube, you'll remember the original 1993 Mortal Kombat trailer. Silly but memorable, it featured a crowd running around a city, yelling "Mortal Kombat!", presumably to raise awareness of the fighting game. Now, it's been reimagined as a Mortal Kombat 1 trailer, as wrestler-turned-actor Dave Bautista, recently seen as Drax the Destroyer in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 leads the charge. If you can't wait for the Mortal Kombat 1 release date, you're sure to love this blast of nostalgia.

Starfield cities – all known locations

What are the major Starfield cities? Neon, Akila, and New Atlantis are three locations that have all been given 'location insight' developer videos. These short vignettes are light on in-game footage but feature Starfield design director Emil Pagliarulo, who gives viewers some insight into each city, the settlement's primary purpose, and some backstory.

Traveling to each Starfield city will introduce you to a different Starfield faction, one of the big organizations that seemingly run the RPG game. With only a few months to go until the Starfield release date, you can take a closer look at some of the major cities in the space game to see what each city offers. Here's everything we know about Starfield cities so far.

Starfield voice actors and cast list so far

Who are the Starfield voice actors? Bethesda may be returning to the age-old tradition of silent protagonists for Starfield, but that doesn't mean this highly anticipated game won't still feature a universe chock-full of colorful characters with voices to match.

Back in 2021, Todd Howard revealed that over 300 Starfield voice actors had been hired to deliver 150,000 lines of dialogue. However, the studio has been remarkably tight-lipped on exactly who we can expect to hear on the Starfield release date as we journey across the Settled Systems. Here's everything we know about the Starfield cast so far.

     Best Windows 10 VPN 2023

Since you're reading this article, we take it you want to know which is the best Windows 10 VPN. It's a good question, considering just how many of them there are to choose from, and how many benefits they can offer, from improved connection speeds, to additional levels of privacy.

If you were to ask us, the best Windows 10 VPN for PC would be ExpressVPN, and we've got an overview of why we think it's so good below. However, we recognise that this won't necessarily be the most appropriate choice for everyone, so we've also picked out four other providers, all of whom have unique strengths that make them well worth your consideration.

For your browsing convenience, not only have we clearly sign-posted what we think each of these VPN services is best for (e.g. which is the fastest VPN, which is the best free VPN), but we've put together easily digestible tables which gives you an overview of each of these services at a glance. We're just nice like that.

     Is Starfield Steam Deck compatible?

Is Starfield Steam Deck compatible? Playing Starfield on your Steam Deck should unlock a universe of entertainment from your sofa, but we haven't got the official word from Valve on whether it's Steam Deck compatible. Although you should be able to get the RPG running on your handheld, the struggles of similar games to get decent performance suggests you probably won't be blasting off at light speed.

As stated in the Starfield system requirements, you'll need 125GB of storage space if you want to head out exploring new planets. There's over a hundred different solar systems on offer, so it's not exactly a surprise the game takes up so much space. If you're hoping to play Bethesda's latest title on the go, you might want to check out our guide to the best microSD card for Steam Deck, especially if you've got the 64GB model.

All Starfield companions and their skills

Who are the Starfield companions? It's easy to get lonely in the vast reaches of space, but it wouldn't be a Bethesda RPG without a companion to tag along with you on your adventure. Beyond running through a full list of confirmed companions and crew members, we'll also explain some of the ways you can recruit them and include info on their abilities.

You don't have to find a Starfield companion, but there are Starfield traits that offer additional bonuses for having a companion and staying in their good books. Companions often provide an alternate point of view during Starfield missions, and they aren't shy about commenting on the decisions you've chosen – so prepare to be judged for any morally questionable actions. It also goes without saying that they're also a prerequisite for a Starfield romance. Here's the scoop on companions in Starfield, along with their character Starfield backgrounds and skills.

Best HP gaming laptops in 2023

What's the best HP gaming laptop? HP has plenty to offer gaming fans and knows a thing or two about mobile computing. Its Omen and Victus stables have something to offer most buyers regardless of their budget, so we've rounded up the best HP gaming laptops around to find out which is right for you.

Hewlett Packard is a well-established laptop brand that's been around the block and bought the t-shirt. Though better known for its productivity machines than out-and-out gaming devices, HP has some gaming heritage. Much of that comes from its acquisition of the innovative Voodoo computers in 2006. Voodoo specialized in high-performance desktop computing, and that, combined with HP's portable computing nous, resulted in the resurrection of the Omen brand, which creates HP's flagship range of gaming laptops and desktops.

To complement the Omen roster, HP created the Victus line to offer a broader range of budget gaming laptops covering the increasingly competitive sub-$1,000 end of the market. These well-specced machines offer functional looks paired with reliable, gaming-focused components, delivering devices that are more than capable of handling action-packed AAA titles but won't leave you destitute in the pursuit of owning one.

But which of HP's latest line-up of high-spec, gaming-obsessed portables do we really rate? Read on to find out which of its line-up makes our list of the best HP gaming laptops money can buy.

Roblox music codes August 2023 – the best song IDs

What are the latest Roblox music codes? There are thousands of popular songs available to listen to in Roblox, simply by entering music ID codes into your boombox or the radio. Using song IDs, you can play your favorite TikTok songs in games with your friends.

So how do you play music in Roblox? The method varies depending on which game you want to blast your tunes in. Some games allow you free access to the boombox - simply equip and press it to bring up a text box in which you can enter a song ID code. Catalog Heaven is a great place to test the Roblox music codes you find, as it allows you to equip any boombox in the shop and try it out.

In most games, however, you'll need to use the radio to play music. This is usually part of a paid Game Pass - the price of a Game Pass is set by each game developer individually. Once you have access to the radio, you can use it in the same way as the boombox - simply enter the song ID code and press play. Occasionally, tracks are taken down by Roblox, so if a code stops working, you'll have to look for a replacement. Here are the best radio music codes in Roblox that work in August 2023.

All Starfield skills and which are best

What are the best Starfield skills? Todd Howard claims that the studio's new skill system "combines the best" from Bethesda's previous games, and we're inclined to agree. These skills are split into five separate paths: Physical, Social, Combat, Science, and Tech, and are unlocked through a combination of spending skill points and completing challenges.

"What's better than gazing at the Milky Way?", asks Bethesda. The answer? "Savouring it as well." That's right folks, I may not have laid my hands on big Todd's mega RPG Starfield, but I've actually tasted its universe, in the form of a promotional drink handed out at Gamescom. It's composed of cinnamon and stardust, with the boundless expanse of space taking on the form of a grey liquid goop. You may have noticed a mounting squabble between Starfield fans and detractors concerning the game's planetary maps, triggered by some leaks or fake leaks over the past week. Said skirmish has now escalated to "-gate" status, with "Tilegate" doing the rounds on forums and even creeping into search results, presumably much to the alarm of innocent, unaligned ceramics company Tilegate Trading Llc in Florida. The nub of the dispute seems to be thus: some people claim the procedurally generated tiles that comprise many Starfield environments actually glue together into complete globes, so that you can see and walk from one to the other and, indeed, all around the equator, while others claim they're discrete maps with invisible walls, similar to those of the astonishing "dreamable" space sim Noctis.

Who knows, we might have an under-embargo Starfield review in the works that will lay matters to rest. In the short term, the uncertainty about whether Starfield's planets are actually planets puts me in mind of comparable celestial angst in Bethesda's Elder Scrolls games, where planets are more properly described as planes of existence, conjured by immortal beings, which sort of orbit the mortal world of Tamriel. I've been revisiting how Bethesda's mainstay fantasy games thought about outer space in the run-up to Starfield, and while I'm intrigued by the new game's portrayals of celestial mechanics (latest discovery: the Starfield starmap represents stellar and planetary gravity as dimples on a kind of galactic tarpaulin, as in old Stephen Hawking documentaries), I'll be very surprised if it offers anything quite as wonderfully bizarre.

How do you condense the vast, far-reaching tendrils of Paradox's open world Sims-killer Life By You into 20 minutes? The short answer is you can't, really, but while most of my brief, guided Gamescom demo covered very similar ground to what I saw back in March when it was first announced, there was one little detail that really grabbed my attention - and that's how everyone has eyes like a hawk in this game. They're almost constantly aware of everything that you're doing. So much so, that they can even get a little bit creepy about it, as was made plain in my hands-off demo session.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink has been on my most anticipated games list for two-years, with all of my anticipation based purely off bitty trailers that haven't revealed anything other than its flashy action RPG combat and deeply anime towns. So, I was rather excited when I had a chance to play it for all of ten minutes in one demo, then around 40 minutes at this year's Gamescom.

Blazing fast mental arithmetic puts my total time with the game at around 50 minutes... with a catch. The two demos were identical, though, so all of my time was dedicated to smashing the same large skeleton and large rock man. I got to know them and it's battle system intimately, I suppose, so while I can't speak for the quests, but the fights? Gloriously chaotic.

Vampires might be the themed threat for Diablo 4's second season, but it was arguably its own player base who drew first blood when season one started at the end of July. As you may have heard by now, Diablo's Season Of The Malignant didn't exactly go down all that well, with much of the hissing and fang-bearing directed toward its nerf-heavy balance patch that arrived a couple of days before the season started in earnest - a series of events that Blizzard's franchise general manager Rod Fergusson describes as "a perfect storm of a couple of situations" when I sit down to talk with him at Gamescom.

"Season one was exceptional, because we did something we'd never do again," says Fergusson. "As part of listening to players wanting to carry over their renown, we had to put the patch out a couple of days before the season. The intention is that a season and a patch would go [live] the same day, so at the time we make a balance change and you start a level one character, it feels differently to go through the progression with the new balance."

I'm struggling to pin it down through the growing white noise of early middle age - as with much else in my life, everything blends into a gritty soup of Metroid and DOOM beyond the turn of the millennium - but I suspect it might have been a level from Rebellion's amazing 1999 Giger 'em up Aliens versus Predator, which I now recall only as screenfuls of fangs illuminated by Smartgun fire.

Does Sonic 2's Flying Fortress Zone count as abandoned, given that almost every NPC aboard is robotic? Blargh. I'm more confident picking my favourite space derelict, which would include choice excerpts from the debris field of trashed starcraft you traverse in the otherwise-questionable Dead Space 3. I'm hoping for more of that kind of thing in Starfield, in which you'll encounter a wide range of scuttled vessels plus still-crewed, decidedly hostile "Legendary" ships that could play a part in the hotly upcoming Bethextravaganza's capacious endgame. There's fresh news on this front from senior level designer Zach Wilson, who has been waxing lyrical online about "the tragedies and perils of space travel".

Splatoon 3 Crableg Capital

Nintendo revealed details about Crableg Capital, a new stage coming to Splatoon 3. It showed off the new stage in a quick teaser video, showing off the stage's details. The new stage will be released as part of Drizzle Season 2023, which starts on September 1, 2023.

Crableg Capital was first seen in the Drizzle Season 2023 trailer, where it was used as the location to show off the new Dread Wringer weapon. The new stage is set in the financial district of Splatsville, taking place among the clouds on the roof of a skyscraper. Construction cranes tower over the stage, suggesting the skyscraper is still under construction. The stage appears to be a larger stage than some others in Splatoon 3. It also appears to be a two-level stage, with the top level made mostly out of grates.

https://twitter.com/SplatoonNA/status/1696508102860808216

The new stage will arrive as part of Splatoon 3's first anniversary celebration, which coincides with a special Splatfest. Adding to this celebration, Nintendo have announced that 80 new banners and 400 new Splashtag Titles will be added as part of Drizzle Season 2023. Some of these will part of the Catalog, while others will be available via the Shell-Out Machine in the Lobby.

Splatoon 3 is out now for the Nintendo Switch. Drizzle Season 2023 kicks off on September 1, 2023.

persona 3 portable clock

The Square Enix Store is selling a melody clock based on Persona 3 Portable for customers both in Japan and in North America. It will play a song every hour, for a total of twelve songs. There is a video on the Square Enix social media account that shows how the clock sounds and looks. The Persona 3 Portable clock costs 16,280 JPY, or $147.99, and it'll come out in July 2024.

Here's the video showing off the clock.
https://twitter.com/sqex_estore/status/1696343832571625633?s=46&t=H5PQOQrVgcNnJC_jNkLBGA

According to the description on the North American Square Enix store, the Persona 3 Portable melody clock has a light sensor. It will only play a melody when it senses light, so you don't have to worry about "Burn My Dread" waking you up in the middle of the night. It can also double as a night light, since it comes with a backlight that'll turn on when the room gets dark.

The tracks that are in the clock are:

  • "Aria of the Soul"
  • "Burn My Dread"
  • "Burn My Dread - Last Battle-"
  • "Joy"
  • "Mass Destruction"
  • "Master of Shadow"
  • "Memories of You"
  • "Tartarus_0d06"
  • "Want To Be Close"
  • "Way of Life"
  • "When The Moon's Reaching Out Stars"
  • "Wiping All Out"

The artwork for the clock shows all members of SEES in the original art style of the game. Atlus has updated the sprites and designs for everyone in the upcoming Persona 3 Reload. But since the clock is for Portable, everyone (including the FeMC) looks like they did during the original release of the title.

The Persona 3 Portable clock is open for pre-order and will ship out in July 2024. Persona 3 Reload will come out on February 2, 2024. Persona 3 Portable is on the Nintendo Switch, PS4, PSP, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC.

Fate/Samurai Remnant Saber

Koei Tecmo released a third trailer for Fate/Samurai Remnant ahead of the game's release on September 29, 2023. This time around, the trailer focuses on the relationship between Miyamoto Iori and his Saber-class servant. However, it also teases some of the systems we'll get to play with in the game, including equipment, skill trees, and a whittling minigame.

The trailer begins with Saber remarking on Iori's personality in a far gentler tone than we've seen in previous trailers, before we transition to a scene of them clashing. We then get a title cut before being shown some new gameplay footage including a look at Gilgamesh's shop, a woodworking minigame, and an equipment screen that should look familiar to any players of Omega Force's previous games. A skill tree is briefly shown before Li Shuwen shows off his special attack and Circe transforms Iori into a pig with the magic of ancient Greek hallucinogens.

As the music kicks, in we see some more special attacks and some close shots of the various masters, servants, and other characters in the game. The video then ends with a rundown of the pre-order and special edition rewards.

This is the third trailer Koei Tecmo released for Fate/Samurai Remnant, with previous trailers having focused on showing off the various Servants or setting up the story. You can also read some of our previews here and here.

Fate/Samurai Remnant is due out on September 29, 2023 for the Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5 and PC.

Super Mario Bros Wonder Direct Airs This Week

Nintendo announced its next Direct will be a variant focusing on Super Mario Bros Wonder. People can learn more about the game on August 31, 2023 at air at 7am PT/10am ET/4pm CET. The title was first revealed during the June 2023 Nintendo Direct. This is the new 2D-style Super Mario game set to debut in October 2023.

The placeholder is already present on YouTube for the event. We also know this will be one of the shorter Direct offshoots. It will only spend 15 minutes looking at the new game ahead of its debut. This should mean new gameplay footage and looks at what to expect from this installment.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G0m_uNaSres&ab_channel=NintendoofAmerica

As a reminder, the gimmick here is that there will be Wonder effects that changes how the stages and game will look. This means that we could see silhouette stages or things like moving pipes. There will also be some new power ups for characters to use. The one showcased in the June 2023 Nintendo Direct was Elephant Mario. However, another showed Mario turning into a spiked ball underwater to smash through things. Nintendo also confirmed that Daisy and Yoshi will be joining Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Toad as playable characters.

Super Mario Bros Wonder will come to the Nintendo Switch on October 20, 2023, and the Direct looking at it will air at 7am PT/10am ET/4pm CET on August 31, 2023.

dan heng imbibitor lunae animated trailer Dan Feng Honkai Star Rail

A new animated Honkai: Star Rail trailer featuring Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae and Dan Feng is now available via the various HoYoVerse YouTube channels. It focuses on the crimes Dan Feng committed (though we do not yet have all of the details regarding them), as well as Dan Heng's determination to break free of his past. The members of the High-Cloud Quintet also make cameos.

You can watch the trailer here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M6jvUuarJbg

It is also available in Mandarin, Japanese, and Korean.

In the trailer, Dan Heng and Dan Feng meet and discuss how Dan Heng is unable to escape his past. In all languages, Dan Heng and Dan Feng do not share a voice actor. The voice director for HoYoVerse has said in the past that this is to reflect that Dan Heng may be Dan Feng's reincarnation, but the two are ultimately different people.

While we've had hints in Honkai: Star Rail as to why Dan Feng had to molt to repent for the crimes he committed, we still don't know exactly what prompted him to try and steal immortality. The trailer offers a brief flashback to the High-Cloud Quintet breaking up as a result of this. But the scenes and voice lines lack a lot of context. More information on it may show up during Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae's Companion Mission.

Honkai: Star Rail is readily available on mobile devices and Windows PC. PS4 and PS5 versions are in development. Version 1.3, which will be the playable debut of Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae in Honkai: Star Rail, will go live on August 30, 2023.

persona ikuu no tou hen

G-Mode will release Megami Ibunroku Persona: Ikuu no Tou Hen for the Nintendo Switch and Windows PC in Japan. However, there is no release date, nor is there any information on whether or not it will appear overseas. Megami Ibunroku Persona: Ikuu no Tou Hen originally came out for phones in Japan on December 1, 2006.

Here is a trailer for Megami Ibunroku Persona: Ikuu no Tou Hen:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iqhX_nxaKMM&

It looks to be a remaster of the original title, so it still looks like a game that you would play on a phone. As for the story, it's based on the original Persona and is a spin-off that takes place during the events. The Deva System transports the protagonists to a bizarre space in between worlds, in which demons roam. They must then try to find a way back to their world, all while fighting or negotiating with the demons they come across.

The story will not be the same as the first Persona. However, it will have similar mechanics, such as negotiation and Fusion. It is also similar to a roguelike in which your party dying will lead to you losing all of your money and items. This will create a more "thrilling" experience, according to G-mode's webpage for the game.

Megami Ibunroku Persona: Ikuu no Tou Hen is in development for the Nintendo Switch and Windows PC. It will only be available digitally. G-Mode previously ported Megami Tensei Gaiden: Last Bible New Testament III: Mugen no Eiyuu to its G-Mode Archives+ collection. Since this never made it overseas, there's a high chance that Ikuu no Tou Hen will remain exclusive to Japan.

naruto episodes delayed

The four new Naruto episodes that Studio Pierrot is working on for the 20th anniversary of the Naruto anime will be delayed. Originally, the first episode would have aired on September 3, 2023. However, according to a tweet on the official Boruto social media account, the studio will delay these episodes. This is so the studio can increase their overall quality.

The full statement includes the fact that it has been six years and five months since Studio Pierrot worked on Naruto. Since these episodes will be to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Naruto anime, it decided to delay them in order to improve their quality. It apologizes to fans who have been waiting for the broadcast. More information on when they'll premiere will appear on official social media accounts, as well as the Naruto website.

There weren't a lot of details on what the new episodes would entail. What we do know is that Studio Pierrot previously stated that this will be "newly-made animation," which was the same wording it used for the "Road of Naruto" trailer. There is the chance, then, that these episodes will not be completely new content.

Naruto and Boruto are available on streaming services such as Netflix and Crunchyroll. More information on when the 20th anniversary Naruto episodes will start airing will appear on Naruto's official social media accounts and website.

Starfield Art Book App Highlighted in New Video

When Starfield arrives, the Premium and Constellation collector's editions bring a The Art of Starfield art book app with it. This is an app people can use to hear music from the game, as well as see Bethesda concept art that helped lead to the final product. To help provide people a better idea of what to expect from it, there's now a teaser trailer just looking at this supplemental program.

Here's the full The Art of Starfield art book teaser trailer. Rather than actually showing inside of the app itself and "pages" from the concept art sections, it's a video of its main menu. However, rather than a static menu, it shows off different areas inside of a ship, highlighting the design and ways in which different areas look. As it does, a song from the game's soundtrack plays in the background. In addition to workspaces, we also get to see a dining area and a private space someone can use as a bunk to sleep and relax in.

While the Constellation edition is sold out, the Premium one is available. It provides people with a Shattered Space expansion, the art book app, the soundtrack, and a Constellation Skin Pack. You also get early access to the game on September 1, 2023.

Starfield will come to the Xbox Series X and PC on September 6, 2023. Early access begins on September 1, 2023.

How to beat the EKDROMOI - Attack the refuelling base in Armored Core 6Armored Core 6 really likes to keep it original with their enemies' builds. Some are the size of wasps but sting like them, too. Others are hulking leviathans that look like mountains. One is even a spider. No matter what you're up against, FromSoftware has carried over their inventive approach to boss battles that rings so true in the Souls games. As you come to the end of the Attack the Refuelling Base mission in Armored Core 6, you will be faced with not one, but two insanely fast mechs, known as EKDROMOI, and they're a trick to beat. Armored Core Build You got to be fast. You got to be really fast. Unlike a number of the other fast Armored Core I have written about, the EKDROMOI twins do actually need to be matched for speed. With the previous fast Armored Core, it is possible to tank it out and absorb damage while throwing a few quick dashes in. Due to there being two Armored Cores this time, you need to be constantly moving and fast. Choose a lightweight me...

Armored Core 6 G6 RedArmored Core 6 is a pretty difficult game, and it's fun to try and overcome the barriers that stand your way. These barriers usually come in the shape of a boss or mini-boss, where you will need to adapt your AC build to try to also account for the weaknesses in the opponent's build. It's quite fun, and the flexibility that the game gives you in-terms of its capacity for builds makes this even better. You can choose to run an all explosive weapon build, or a melee build, or even run some tank treads and become a literal tank who can deal some major damage. The choice is yours. Some of the challenges in the game come from the in-game Arena mode, which has you fighting other ACs. Here's our guide on how to beat G6 Red in Armored Core 6, one of the arena fights. How to beat G6 Red in Armored Core 6 G6 Red is an enemy you'll fight as the final evaluation of Rank F of the Arena mode in Armored Core 6. He uses mostly explosive weapons, meaning he can deal some major damage to you i...

How to beat Maeterlinck in Armored Core 6Some arena battles in Armored Core 6 are easier than others. The Maeterlinck fight is hard for two reasons, the first is that it's impossible to pronounce its name, and the second is because it is fast and frustrating. However, there is a pretty easy way to beat Maeterlinck in Armored Core 6, provided you know the right build and technique. How to beat Maeterlinck in Armored Core 6 First, you need to get your build right. As with most fast-paced fights, I found that trying to match their speed is futile. Then, you need to know the tactics, and they may surprise you. Build Maeterlinck is all about speed and stun, so you need to prepare for that well. Get yourself some of the heavier legs; the DF-LG-08s did me very well. They don't compromise too much on weight or speed but provide a lot of attitude and can support the weapon setup you need. For the weapons, you can't choose anything with a slow projectile, so double up on the chain guns. The fast speed o...

When rumours first began to appear on the horizon suggesting Rockstar was planning a remaster of Red Dead Redemption the excitement was palpable. Launched in 2010, Red Dead Redemption has sold millions of copies, topped numerous "Best of" lists and spawned a sequel that did it all over again. A remaster of Red Dead Redemption seemed like an easy money-maker for Take-Two and Rockstar. How quickly it all fell apart. The new version was announced as a "conversion" being handled by Double Eleven with a price tag of $50 and no improvements or upgrades mentioned. The hype train was derailed, all while Take-Two attempted to argue that the $50 asking price was justified, despite the game just being a port to PlayStation and Nintendo Switch. Still no PC version in sight. The disappointment in the air could be shot with a revolver.
