Baldur's Gate 3 and Starfield are two of 2023's longest games

Baldur's Gate 3 is unsurprisingly one of this year's longest games. You can spend hours upon hours in the character creation alone, let alone in the first act or the entire game itself. The multi-crowned GOTY has story galore to offer, with countless nooks and crannies available to explore as well. It isn't the only lengthy 2023 experience though, with other massive entries topping the list alongside Larian Studios' stellar RPG, including Betehsda's own Starfield.

When The Finals release date hit during The Game Awards 2023, it was met with an unexpected influx of players wanting to get in on the action of its unrivaled multiplayer experience. The contestant numbers are still overwhelming, so you might need to know The Finals server status details right now, and how to fix The Finals login errors.

Aside from developing games for the above three consoles, Falcom also plans to focus on music, releasing CDs and albums within Japan. It will also grow its existing IPs through merchandise, novels, international releases, digital versions, and mobile apps. At present, Falcom releases about two to three new titles per year. However, it wants to increase its output. Within three years, it hopes to start releasing four to five titles per year.

Upcoming games from Falcom include:

  • The Legend of Heroes: Kai no Kiseki - Farewell, O Zemuria (TBD) - 2024
  • The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak (Switch) - February 15, 2024
  • Unannounced action RPG (TBD) - In Development
  • Unannounced game (TBD) - In Development
  • Unannounced ported title (PS4, PS5) - In Development
  • Unannounced Switch game - In Development
  • Unannounced Trails series (TBD) - In Development

Currently, Falcom's two prominent series are the Trails and Ys games. It hopes to create a new IP in the near future though. According to the report it gave investors, while there are many long-time fans of the series, it cannot guarantee that they won't lose interest. This is part of why Falcom wants to expand its library of IPs.

More information on the unannounced Falcom games should come out in the near future. So far, the only new game with a set release date in the presentation is The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak.
