Cancellations, right? That really does seem to have been the New Year's theme for the French publisher so far, with at least seven projects recently scrapped, while other big names seem to slip ever-further toward the distant horizon. The first Midnight Suns DLC character is nearly here, much to the chagrin of everyone in a two-mile radius of the superhero team. There are a lot of big personalities in Firaxis' Marvel strategy game; you've got demi-gods, bad-tempered geniuses, science experiments gone wrong, and a cute demon dog. There was always perhaps one big, gaping, chimichanga-shaped hole in the Suns' cast however, and The Good, The Bad, and The Undead will give you your fill of wise-cracking self-referential humour, whether you like it or not.

What are the best FPS games on PC? From the classic physics chaos of Half-Life 2 to Splitgate's mind-bending portal warfare, these are the finest FPS games. Some of these games are old, others are new, and all are great. Wolfenstein 2's amazing campaign; Rainbow Six Siege's tight tactical multiplayer; Overwatch 2 and its vast array of amazing heroes. No matter what sort of virtual gunplay you're after, the following titles will satisfy your itchy trigger finger.      Best Warzone 2 shotgun in Season 1 Reloaded

The best Warzone 2 shotgun might not immediately spring to mind when you think about the sprawling Al Mazrah and its high, long-distance vantage points. Still, you may be surprised about just how well it might serve you. After all, the map is dense with buildings, and you're likely to run into an opponent tucked into the corner of a room eventually. You will also certainly get more up close and personal once the storm circles close in.

The best shotgun in Warzone 2 is the Expedite 12. Provided your opponent isn't wearing three plates, the Expedite 12 can one-shot anyone within five metres in the battle royale game. However, we'd certainly recommend running Overkill - more on that in our guide to the Warzone 2 perk packages - so you can accompany your shotgun with one of the best Warzone 2 guns with a bit more range.

The best Destiny 2 Titan builds have changed significantly since subclass overhauls let players completely customise their builds. Aspects and fragments now let players stack builds in creative ways that astronomically impact damage, health, ammo drops, orb output, and more.

     The best Minecraft skins 2023

The best Minecraft skins are a great way of making yourself stand out when playing on multiplayer servers. That's why one of the most important and popular aspects of Minecraft is your avatar skin - use it to represent yourself inside and outside the game, for screenshots, videos, multiplayer, and more… and just to feel that little bit less generic.

There are now more default Minecraft skins than ever with seven new characters added in 2022: Noor, Sunny, Ari, Zuri, Makena, Kai, and Efe. The new additions join Steve and Alex in an effort to make the game more representative, which is crucial when loading up any of the best PC games for the first time. However, once you're a few days in, you might prefer to shed your default skin in exchange for something a little more individual. If you aren't confident enough to make your own completely custom avatar, there are thousands of cool Minecraft skins that have been ready-made for you to download and apply in minutes, here's just a few of the best. Take note that all of these cool Minecraft skins are available to download right now on NameMC.

Shoulders Of Giants is out today on the Epic Games Store. When we first saw the trailer for Shoulders Of Giants, a few people on team responded with murmurings of "What the hell is this?", which increased in frequency and volume as more bizarre things appeared on screen. I sort of did what the Goonies do when they first find the map to One Eyed Willie's treasure, or what anyone in Pulp Fiction does when they open the briefcase: "Wooooaaaah."

Consider the progress of information. It's a sci-fi roguelike best played, I think, in 4-player online co-op. You play a sword-wielding combat mech. You also control a small frog standing on the mech. You drop onto proc-gen planets overrun by a kind of magical accelerated entropy, that turns everything black and pink and grey. By destroying totemic altars orbited by floating eyeball robots, you start to re-energise the planet, so areas have grass and butterflies. Eventually you will destroy enough totems to get to a planetary boss fight, which might be against, for example, a giant ghost samurai or a floating purple hand with an eyeball in it. It's mad, but I sure do wish more games were like this.

Bloodborne doll figure

The high-end figure brand, Prime 1 Studio, announced a new Bloodborne statue based on The Doll, the character residing in The Hunter's Dream responsible for leveling up. The figure is releasing as part of the Ultimate Premium Masterline series. The statue will be of a massive 1/4th in scale, totaling around 19 inches in height, and will weigh nearly 40 pounds. It will cost $1,199. The expected release date is between April and June 2024. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

Pre-orders for the figure began on January 26, 2023. You can pre-order from the Prime 1 Studio official website. The figure is modeled using polystone, and it combines real clothing materials for The Doll's outfit to create a realistic look. Other features include swappable arm parts to alternate between two different poses and a lantern with a built-in light function. The bonus version of the statue includes a miniature of the messengers, the mysterious creatures that allow players to leave messages in other player's worlds.

You can check out the statue in more detail here:

Here's a List of Every Anime Skin Crossover in Fortnite

While Fortnite is a western game, handled by Epic Games, its reach means a number of other series get pulled into it. This results in various collaboration items and events tied to famous titles. While there still aren't too many anime series represented in Fortnite yet, Shonen Jump skins already started showing up in the shop. To help keep track of all these updates and events when they happen, here's a full list of every anime series that's found its way to the game.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2okkOUmLaqA&ab_channel=Fortnite

Dragon Ball Super

The Dragon Ball Super Fortnite crossover was a big deal, with skins and items inspired by the anime around. As part of the update, four skins in particular appeared. Of course, Goku and Vegeta showed up. So did the classic Kamehameha. People could also dress up as Beerus or Bulma. Finally, there was a Kitoun flying cloud to ride around on.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d7O4UypFSp4&ab_channel=Fortnite

My Hero Academia

The My Hero Academia Fortnite collab showed up before 2022 ended, and again it brought four characters to the game. This time, each one is a notable hero and main character from the title. As far as students go, people could dress up in skins based on Izuku "Deku" Midoriya, Ochaco "Uravity" Uraraka, Katsuki "Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight" Bakugo. The only teacher character who appeared was All Might.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=38exZ1KijN0&ab_channel=Fortnite

Naruto

Naruto anime skins appeared not once, but twice in Fortnite. The first time happened in Chapter 2. That's when the Team 7 characters Naruto, Sakura, Sasuke, and Kakashi showed up in-game. Then in Chapter 3, another batch appeared. That time, people could pick up new looks inspired by Gaara, Hinata, Itachi, and Orochimaru. So far, it's the only series to get two collabs in-game.

Fortnite is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, Windows PC, and mobile devices.

Some Fun Fire Emblem Engage Support Conversations Rosado Seadall

Fire Emblem Engage does the whole Support and pairing thing a bit different, as there are no paired ends, no romance between characters that aren't Alear, and you can have multiple A-rank supports between characters. While this is a bit of a letdown, it also means there are a lot more possible relationships and stories to play out. Not all of them end up being incredibly deep. Some are insightful. Others are just funny.

Since I spent a lot of time going through and collecting them, I wanted to suggest 10 Support pairing conversations in Fire Emblem Engage should try to earn and read.

Editor's Note: While there will be some vague details about the Fire Emblem Engage conversations, the whole Support between the pairings won't be revealed.

Amber Jade

Amber and Jade

I started pursuing this pairing because frankly, I was curious as to whether or not they were siblings. (I mean, Pandreo and Panette have the same hair and eye color, and so do Amber and Jade.) They aren't, but the ensuing conversation is great.

It gets into the duo's backstories as retainers to Prince Diamant, as well as touches on what Jade writes about when she publishes her books. It's a fun one!

10 Fun Fire Emblem Engage Support Pairings Zelkov Anna

Anna and Zelkov

Okay, this one is good because Zelkov Support conversations in Fire Emblem Engage tend to be funny. This is especially true when a kid character is involved. Things kick off with him taking an interest, because appearances can be deceiving and he's a genuinely good person. But it ends up getting funny as Anna and him get to know each other and he offers feedback on her business.

10 Fun Fire Emblem Engage Support Pairings Lapis Boucheron

Boucheron and Lapis

I liked this one for a number of reasons! First, it offers an idea of what different people's lives are like throughout Elyos. We get a hint at Lapis' background. It also shows what a good and considerate person Boucheron is, though that also comes through in Fire Emblem Engage Support conversations with people like Framme too.

Also, I do miss the paired endings a lot, and there's a subtle hint that Lapis might have a crush on another person in the army here.

Chloe Bunet

Bunet and Chloe

Given Chloe's love of food and Bunet being a chef, this seems like a natural Fire Emblem Engage pairing. Turns out, it's a pretty good one! We see the two discuss their specific tastes and Chloe make a request over the course of the C, B, and A rank conversations.

10 Fun Fire Emblem Engage Support Pairings Celine Fogado

Celine and Fogado

This conversation chain is fun for a number of reasons. First, we have two royals who are siblings to the ones who will inherit the throne. They've spent their lives as designated supporters.

Second, we get to see some diplomacy in action. For all of Fogado's bluster, he can be quite professional, and this supports that.

Finally, there are some insights into Celine and Alfred's life that act as foreshadowing.

Citrinne and Diamant

Citrine and Diamant

Don't worry! Even though Citrinne and Diamant are cousins, this one isn't going to go anywhere weird. Rather, it's similar to Celine and Fogado's as it is an insight into how political and personal relationships differ for royalty. We get to see the cousins act in two different ways, and its fascinating to witness the differences.

Fire Emblem Engage Hortensia and Rosado

Hortensia and Rosado

I'm not a big fan of Hortensia! I don't really care for her personality or character design. However, I do really like this Support conversation between her and Rosado in Fire Emblem Engage. We see there's a genuine admiration and friendship between this princess and her retainer. We see how much he cares about her. And even though she gets a bit brusque, we come to understand why she has a bit of an attitude.

10 Fun Fire Emblem Engage Support Pairings Kagetsu Ivy

Ivy and Kagetsu

I am a very big Kagetsu fan, and I like Ivy a lot too. So that only helped make this Support even more appealing. But what we have here is a case of two very different sorts of personalities and character types being tossed together, and that being reconciled in a very pleasant and sweet way over the course of the C, B, and A rank conversations. I also like how we get to see a happier Ivy throughout it.

Panette Pandreo

Pandreo and Panette

The whole series of Support conversations between Pandreo and his little sister Panette in Fire Emblem Engage just makes me want to give these two characters a hug. They've been through a lot, and this pairing gives you a chance to see and understand their whole backstory. You find out why she is the way she is, and vice versa.

It almost makes me want to forgive Pandreo for his constant barking and howling.

Yunaka Seadall

Seadall and Yunaka

I have a confession with this one. After I rolled credits, I ended up making a point of immediately unlocking this whole Support pairing in Fire Emblem Engage. I'm not going to say why. But I will say that it is rather funny and further highlights the talents of both Seadall and Yunaka throughout.

Yunaka and Zelkov

Yunaka and Zelkov

Yunaka is very bad at hiding hints about her past throughout Fire Emblem Engage, though she tries to avoid talking about it in Support conversations and during the game. However, in this pairing with Zelkov, she's very forthright about things. As a result, we get to learn more about both of their backgrounds in a very funny way.

Again, these are only a few of the Fire Emblem Engage Support conversations that especially tickled me or caught my interest. There are tons of supplemental segments like this, and lots of them are worth unlocking and reading.

Fire Emblem Engage is available for the Nintendo Switch.

Witchbrook Update Includes Chucklefish's Commitment to Zero Crunch

There's a new update on Witchbrook the magical school life sim from Chucklefish, and it included a reference to the studio's commitment to a "zero crunch" environment. The company confirmed development is continuing on the game. It also acknowledged the length of time it is taking to bring it to life. It is then that it cited its commitment to avoiding crunch for a healthier work environment.

Here's the full chain of tweets. It noted that this is a "full-time" project.

Chucklefish first announced the game back in March 2018. Though it did appear ahead of that time under the name "Spellbound." Since then, the company gradually shared brief updates over the years in the form of new screenshots. In June 2022, a Steam page for it went live.

Witchbrook is in development for PCs and will be available via Steam. There's still no release date for it yet.

Stranger of Paradise sequel

Tetsuya Nomura mentioned in a recent Square Enix broadcast that Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, the spin-off action RPG title co-developed by Koei Tecmo, could get a sequel depending on the popularity of the game. Nomura shared these words in a presentation that showcased the new story and gameplay elements introduced in the third and final DLC for the game, Different Future.

Near the end of the broadcast, Nomura looked back at the negative reception the game had when it was initially revealed, especially online. However, he was pleased to hear that, over time, the game developed a big fan base that genuinely loved Jack and company's adventures. Nomura also said that he would personally love to work again with the game's co-director Nobumichi Kumabe, from Koei Tecmo.

Nomura left some closing words to fans that are looking forward to a sequel to Stranger of Paradise, saying that the best way to help would be spreading the word about the game to other people. Here is a direct quote from the broadcast that Nomura said around the 1:25:45 mark:

"If it proves that the title has really resonated with everyone, there may be a time when we meet again."

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. Different Future, the third and last DLC, will release on January 27, 2023.

Street Fighter 6 Blanka and JP Match Gets Electrifying

Once again, Capcom shared another Street Fighter 6 developer match, this time with Blanka and JP. Blanka is a returning Street Fighter staple. This means the footage lets people analyze how things changed for him. Meanwhile, JP is joining the roster in this installment, and this involves a more involved look at his moveset.

Here's the full Street Fighter 6 Blanka and JP match. Rather than just being an opportunity to showcase the moveset of the entirely new fighter, it takes a more balanced approach. Over its three rounds, people get a chance to see a wide range of attacks from both characters, as well as some new holds and throws. Each of the three rounds ends with a rather notable move acting as the "finisher."

Capcom's shared quite a few Street Fighter 6 fights lately. In the first one, newcomers Manon and Marisa faced off. In the second, returning competitors Dee Jay and Dhalsim took to the stage.

Street Fighter 6 will come to the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam on June 2, 2023. It will also appear in arcades.

Fomortiis and Gotoh Join Fire Emblem Heroes

The next Fire Emblem Engage Mythic Heroes banner will feature two new units, Fomortiis and Gotoh. Typically, these summoning events only offer one new character at a time. However, this time both the Sacred Stones opponent and Mystery of the Emblem ally could join people's sides. The banner will appear on January 27, 2023.

Fomortiis and Gotoh are both five-star units in Fire Emblem Engage. Fomortiis is a colorless "beast" type unit and armored type. It features a number of newly introduced weapons and skills, like the Ravager weapon, Nightmare A skill, and Beast Follow-Up 3 B skill. Gotoh is a colorless tome-wielder and infantry unit. Like Fomortiis, he gets a number of unique abilities, as he has the Brilliant Starlight weapon, Gift of Magic A skill, and Guard 4 B skill.

This is the list of additional focus units:

  • Arval: Cycle Keeper
  • Dimitri: Savior King
  • Edelgard: Flame Emperor
  • Freyja: Lady of Nightmare
  • Hilda: Helping Hand
  • Lif: Arcane Blade
  • Monica: Favored Vassal
  • Reginn: Bearing Hope
  • Ullr: The Bowmaster
  • Veronica: Princess Rising

Here's the full Double Mythic Heroes banner. As usual, Feh Pass subscribers who pull 40 times on it can "spark" and pick one focus unit for free.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c9c9wM1yjFo&ab_channel=NintendoMobile

As a reminder, Fire Emblem Heroes is also celebrating the launch of the Switch entry Engage at the moment. This meant Alfred, Alear, Celine, Chloe, and Etie joined the cast. People can also get free Order of Heroes DLC for the game.

Fire Emblem Heroes is available for mobile devices, and the Fomortiis and Gotoh banner will run January 27, 2023 through February 10, 2023.

Comfey Is the First New Pokemon in Pokemon Unite in 2023

The first new Pokemon in Pokemon Unite for 2023 was revealed, and it is Comfey. This is a character that resembles a flower garland or Hawaiian lei, and it first appeared in Pokemon Sun and Moon. It will join the cast on February 2, 2023.

The announcement didn't note what role the Pokemon will play in-game. In mainline installments, Comfey doesn't feature any evolutions. It is a fairy type known for its supportive skills. For example, some of its notable abilities include Draining Kiss, Floral Healing, Flower Shield, and Petal Blizzard. As such, it could end up being a supporter in Pokemon Unite, like Blissey.

As a reminder, the last Pokemon to join Pokemon Unite was Dragapult. It showed up right before last year ended, debuting on December 29, 2022. Ushifu appeared at the beginning of that month as well.

However, in a recent 2022 data analysis update, The Pokemon Company International and Timi Studio revealed older Pokemon, rather than new ones in Pokemon Unite, still proved most popular among players. Pikachu was the most used unit in 2022, followed by Greninja and Charizard.

Pokemon Unite is available for the Nintendo Switch and mobile devices, and Comfey will join its roster on February 2, 2023.

persona 4 golden personas

In Persona 4 Golden, you have a large number and variety of Personas to build and use. While some Personas are ones that you probably will never ever use in combat, they are still useful as stepping stones for greater and better Personas. This is a list of some Personas that I recommend building to a certain degree as you play through the game.

Rakshasa

In the early game, Rakshasa is great to have on hand to pass down skills like Auto-Tarukaja, Dodge Physical, and Power Charge. These skills are useful from the beginning of the game all the way until the end. I find that physical attacks are the way to go in Golden considering some of the rebalancing that Atlus did. You can find Rakshasa in Marukyu Striptease or obtain it through fusion.

Lilith

Though Alraune's design is more appealing to me personally, Lilith's skill set is far more useful for both dungeon crawling and inheriting. Makarakarn, Old One, and Ailment Boost are fantastic when fighting random encounters. Status ailments of any kind are great for when you want to one-sidedly pummel an enemy, and Ailment Boost is a great way to ensure that it'll land. Lilith is the only Persona in Persona 4 Golden that can create a Makarakarn Skill card at Chagall Cafe. You can obtain Lilith in Heaven or through fusion.

Neko Shogun

Neko Shogun has such a cute design! Look at him with his little armor and flags! As a unit, Neko Shogun is okay. Neko Shogun is a jack-of-all-trades who can use both physical and magic attacks, as well as heal. What Neko Shogun has going for him beyond his design is his access to Divine Grace.

First of all, you can use Neko Shogun to create a Divine Grace Skill Card at Chagall Cafe. Secondly, Divine Grace is a good skill to have on a healing-oriented Persona, which I recommend you make. This is so that you no longer have to bring Yukiko or Teddie if you do not want to. You can obtain Neko Shogun through fusion.

Loki

As opposed to the previous entries on this list, Loki is the first Persona I recommend to actually use and keep. Like Neko Shogun, Loki can work as both a physical or magical attacker. His stats are well-rounded enough for either. But his particular niche is in being an Ice specialist. This is because Loki is the only Persona in the game that can use Niflheim. You can obtain Loki through fusion after you maximize the Fool Social Link.

Shiva

Shiva is a highly offensive Persona that you can feel confident bringing with you to the endgame dungeons. There are three skills in particular that make Shiva something you should definitely aim for. Enduring Soul will revive you to full HP once per battle after you die, and Spell Master halves the SP cost for magic skills. Shiva naturally learns Ziodyne, Magarudyne, Maziodyne, and Megidolaon. But you can teach him other spells through fusion (which is the only way to obtain him).

Shiva's Pralaya is a great move when fighting against random Shadows. This is not only because of the high damage it deals, but also because there is a 50% chance of instantly killing the enemy. The downside is that it eats up 25% of your HP, so you will definitely need a dedicated healer in your party if you plan on using Pralaya a lot.

Lucifer

Lucifer falls in a similar category as Shiva. He has so many useful skills that you should just aim for fusing him as a Persona to use in the endgame. I said above that you should keep Loki. But think of Loki as the back-up for if you cannot access Lucifer. He is naturally weak to Light, but he also learns Repel Light so you do not have to worry about that. He also has both Mind Charge and the passive Spell Master. By the time you learn it, Victory Cry (which fully heals both HP and SP after battle) might not be useful anymore. But if you think about it as an investment for future replays, then it is a great skill to just have in your compendium.

Trumpeter

Admittedly, a lot of my love for Trumpeter stems from when I was a kid. I thought Trumpeter looked funny, only for him to stay on my team until the end. Trumpeter has a high Magic stat that makes him a great general magic attacker. He also does not have any major natural weaknesses, so you do not need to worry about the enemy knocking you down. Marakukaja, Heat Riser, and Debilitate are all good support spells for your party. You can obtain Trumpeter through fusion.

Yoshitsune

If Yoshitsune thinks, I agree. If Yoshitsune speaks, I'm listening. Every game day before I got him felt like I was stumbling through a desert in pursuit of the oasis known as Hassou Tobi. Yoshitsune can also naturally learn Power Charge and Heat Riser – two skills that everyone needs in their kit. It doesn't matter which Persona we are talking about. Always make sure you get Yoshitsune.

Persona 4 Golden is available on the PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Game Pass, Windows PC, and Nintendo Switch.

Eiyuden Chronicle DLC Vote Almost Included a Story About Generals

Eiyuden Chronicle Director, Producer, and Writer Yoshitaka Murayama noted in the game's January 2023 update that the DLC 3 vote almost included another option. The goal is to allow people to vote on another add-on that will appear in the game. Five options appear in the final poll. The hypothetical sixth one would have included generals. However, as they aren't in the base game at launch, they couldn't go through with it. Likewise, Lian also couldn't appear in DLC for the same reason.

Murayama noted these hypothetical Eiyuden Chronicle DLC options included post-launch characters. He didn't mention release windows for the people who couldn't appear. It only noted they will join the game after its launch as additional content.

Here's the official discussion surrounding the generals and Lian scenarios that didn't make it in as options.

We had another idea for a story that focused on generals during a war-time event, but it was dropped as the relevant characters would not be included in the game's initial release. For the same reason, we also dropped a story plan that revolved around Lian's martial arts training as there would have been a problem with the character's release timing.

Maybe we'll just give Lian a separate fighting game of her own lol.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes will come to the Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC in 2023. People can take part in the DLC 3 vote until it closes on January 30, 2023.

Princess Connect Idolmaster

The idols are coming for Landosol. A new limited-time event for Princess Connect Re:Dive will debut in early February, according to a post by Crunchyroll Games. The Princess ConnectIdolmaster Cinderella Girls crossover event will add several performers from Bandai Namco's hit series in Princess Connect Re:Dive's playable roster. The event first ran in the Japanese version of the game in 2020.

The Princess Connect Idolmaster Cinderella Girls event will add three playable characters from the Idolmaster Cinderella Girls unit "New Generations". These characters are Uzuki Shimamura, Rin Shibuya, and Mio Honda. Uzuki and Rin will appear on separate Focus Gacha banners throughout the month of February. Uzuki's banner lasts from February 1 through 14, 2023, with Rin's following on the 14th through the 27th. Uzuki and Rin will be limited characters, meaning they won't be added to the general gacha pool when the event ends. Players can acquire Mio for free by progressing through the story and completing certain missions.

Uzuki Shimamura joins the roster as a combination of damage-dealing and party support unit. She can fight with her sword, while increasing her allies' damage output and TP charging speed. Rin, meanwhile, is a damage-dealer that also debilitates her foes by binding their movement and reducing their defense. She can also shield herself.

Players interested in Princess Connect Re:Dive's original characters will also have banners to roll on. A Prize Gacha banner (which allows players to choose additional rewards for one of the two featured characters) will focus on the summer versions of Makoto and Maho. Finally, a guaranteed 3-Star Premium gacha banner will let players use purchased Premium Jewels to roll on a banner with a guaranteed 3-Star character. Rin will also be on this banner, so it can be used as a way to get her.

The Princess Connect Re:Dive Idolmaster Cinderella Girls crossover event kicks off on February 1, 2023. The game is available on iOS and Android devices.

The newest Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak Event Quest adds the Palamute inspired Palamask to the game. People on the Switch and PC can immediately take part in "Running Out of Ideas." If they do and succeed, they can get the new layered armor.

Once someone puts on a Palamask in Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak, it looks as though they have a dog's face. They are also carrying a Palamute Scroll in their mouth, just like one of their companions might.

Here's Capcom's full announcement. It also noted that someone needs to beat both a Diablos and Tigrex to finish "Running Out of Ideas."

People will soon get a chance to learn about more content coming to Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak. On February 1, 2023, the Free Title Update Digital Event will appear. This showcase will go over the next free update and unveil its release date.

Crisis Core FFVII Reunion Voice Acting Patch Released

Square Enix fixed a voice acting issue in Crisis Core FFVII Reunion with a new patch. On January 26, 2023, it released an update that adjusts a timing issue. Once applied, the pace of the voice over matches the appearance of subtitles.

Here's the official announcement. It confirmed people on every console and PC can now update the game.

As a reminder, one of the additions in the remaster and rerelease is that there is now full voice acting present throughout Crisis Core FFVII Reunion. However, a number of roles were also recast.

As for people who preferred the original Crisis Core PSP voice acting, there is an option for those playing on PCs. A modder named Svenchu released a mod that restores the original voice actors. It doesn't cover all moments present in-game. However, when applied, people can hear the past voice actors for Zack, Aerith, Cloud, Genesis, and Sephiroth.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion is available for the Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC.

Persona 5 Dancing Ann Tamaki Figure Pre-orders Open in North America

It will now be easier for people to get the Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight Ann "Panther" Tamaki figure outside of Japan. Good Smile Company announced pre-orders are open for it in its North American storefront. It is part of its Partner Products segment. It costs $152.99 and is expected to ship in November 2023.

As a reminder, Phalaeno is the company behind this Persona 5 Dancing Ann figure. It opened pre-orders in Japan back in December 2022. At the time, it would cost ¥22,000 (~$163) to get.

Since its announcement, a number of other opportunities to get a better look at the figure appeared. For example, AmiAmi shared a video showing off Ann from different angles.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nTBceekK73A&ab_channel=%E3%81%82%E3%81%BF%E3%81%82%E3%81%BF%EF%BC%9C%E3%83%9B%E3%83%93%E3%83%BC%E3%82%B7%E3%83%A7%E3%83%83%E3%83%97%EF%BC%9E_%E3%83%84%E3%83%B4%E3%82%A1%E3%82%A4

This isn't Ann's default costume in Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight. In-game, you first need to complete the "Last Surprise" song in order to unlock the ability to get it. However in October 2021, a figure of Ann in her default costume did appear. That was released by Good Smile Company proper and is a standard scale figure. There have also been numerous Nendoroids, figmas, and other figures of both her and other members of the cast over the years.

Persona 5 Dancing is available for the PS4 and Vita. This new Ann Tamaki Persona 5 figure will appear in North America in November 2023.
