Remember when the Xbox Series X and S launched with a Yakuza game, but the PS5 didn't? That was weird, right? For such a long time the Yakuza franchise had been closely tied to PlayStation. But, at least for a few months, the then-latest game in the series skipped Sony's next-gen machine for Xbox's fancy console. Why?…

         Lies of P dev addresses

Lies of P has only just released, and it's already one of the most unique RPG game launches this year. Neowiz Games has crafted a Bloodborne-esque soulslike that places us in the shoes of Pinnochio himself, a character most remember from childhood stories. Instead of a fairytale world, you'll traverse a wickedly dark setting where Pinnochio must battle his way through mechanical monstrosities. Unfortunately, you may not make it far as the Lies of P developer just revealed a game-breaking bug in Chapter 2.

    FFXIV KFC

Hide your Chocobos, as Colonel Sanders has been spotted in Eorzea in a trailer for the upcoming KFC and FFXIV collaboration. The trailer, which you can watch on the official KFC Twitter account, shows Colonel Sanders standing near La Noscea and staring out at it contemplatively. It looks like Colonel Sanders is a Black Mage too.

You can watch the KFC and FFXIV collaboration trailer featuring Colonel Sanders here:

    https://twitter.com/KFC_jp/status/1703936971264213403

"Colonel Sanders is steadily preparing for a new adventure in another world" is the caption for the video. He looks ready as well, as he's starting to cast Triplecast. There's not much information on what this collaboration will be. Previous fried chicken related collaborations with Final Fantasy XIV involved real-life food items. However, this KFC trailer seems to imply that something more game-related will come soon.

As of the time of writing, over 30,000 people have Retweeted the trailer and it has accumulated over 35,600 likes. Many people in the replies worry about the future of Eorzea's Chocobos. Perhaps soon, KFC will no longer stand for Kentucky Fried Chicken and instead, will stand for Kentucky Fried Chocobos.

Final Fantasy XIV is readily available on the PS4, PS5, and Windows PC. More details, such as the release date, for the KFC and Final Fantasy XIV collaboration will come out soon.
