However, while it can't entirely fix the issue, Asus has reduced the concern for buyers of its latest displays by offering a two-year warranty that includes damage to the screen from burn-in. Sanrio revealed that new earrings featuring its characters have appeared in Japan. Officially titled Sanrio Characters Stainless Hoop Pierce, the earrings come etched with small illustrations of iconic characters like Hello Kitty and Cinnamoroll.
Sanrio also revealed that the silver-colored earrings are made of surgical stainless steel with a low probability of causing metallic allergies. The collection features a total of ten characters:
Each pair of earrings is available at ¥11,000 (~$74). People can take a direct look at the items physically at White Clover's Harajuku store. They can also make online orders via White Clover and WJ-Studio's web stores. However, both sites only ship items domestically in Japan, and they do not have a proxy widget for international orders either.
A plethora of merchandise and promotions featuring Sanrio characters has appeared worldwide. The New Otani Hotel in Hakata, Fukuoka is setting up special rooms themed after Pompompurin. Build-A-Bear has also revealed new plushes modeled after Keroppi and Pochacco. The characters are also featured in collaboration merchandise with various franchises ranging from Jujutsu Kaisen to Bungo Stray Dogs.

Sunrise has opened the Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Series GP2024 poll where fans can vote for their favorite character and Mobile Suit or Armor. The poll features 127 characters and 102 mechs from one of the popular Gundam sub-series. It also includes characters and Mobile Suits that debuted in Gundam SEED Freedom. The latter movie launched in Japanese theaters in late January 2024 and grossed over a billion yen within the first three days.
Despite the numbers mentioned, this poll only features content from the three mainline anime entries: the inaugural 2002 show, the 2004 sequel Gundam SEED Destiny, and the new Gundam SEED Freedom movie. The Cosmic Era universe also has numerous side-story entries, such as the Astray series, the Gundam SEED Eclipse manga, and the 2006 net animation Gundam SEED C.E. 73: Stargazer. None of the content from the latter titles appears in this poll.
There are two methods people can use to participate in the poll. They can register a vote worth 10 points directly on the webpage once per day for each category. Those who have an X account can also post tweets that will add a point each.
After the poll has closed, Sunrise will produce an illustration featuring the top-ranked character and Mobile Suit/Armor. It will also hand out ten cards with the illustration to ten lucky X account owners who voted on the platform, are residing in Japan, and can respond to a future Direct Message from the official account.
The Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Series GP2024 poll will remain open until February 25, 2024. Sunrise will announce the poll results in March 2024.

Square Enix will hold the Final Fantasy VII Remake / Rebirth Fireworks & Music show in Osaka on March 23, 2024. The show will feature a synchronized lighting and fireworks performance timed with tracks from FFVII Remake and its sequel Rebirth. The latter will be already available by the time this show goes live, as Square Enix will release Final Fantasy VII Rebirth for PlayStation 5 on February 29, 2024.
Tickets for the show will be available at ¥8,800 (~$59). Each ticket will come with a leisure sheet mat and have a designated spot in one of the two areas: Dynamic Area and Panorama Area. Each visitor will have to purchase a ticket for themselves, but a child aged up to 6 years old can attend for free if they sit on an adult's lap.
The show will run in the eastern plaza of Osaka Expo '70 Commemorative Park. The venue will be open to the public from 11 AM JST, but the organizers will restrict it to the FFVII Remake / Rebirth Fireworks & Music show ticket holders at 5 PM.
The actual show will begin at 7 PM and is expected to run for an hour until 8 PM. The organizers also noted that they will still hold the show in rainy conditions; only a heavy storm will force them to cancel it.
The Final Fantasy VII Remake / Rebirth Fireworks & Music show will take place at Osaka Expo '70 Commemorative Park on March 23, 2024. The ticket sales window will open on February 9, 2024.

Anycolor announced the graduation of Nijisanji EN Vtuber Selen Tatsuki. She is no longer with the agency effective immediately, with the company citing breaches of contract and behavior online as the reasons.
Here's the official announcement from social media. In the statement, the company alleged it has been warning Selen since May 2023 about violations of the Activity Rules for its Vtubers. It also cited the release of the cover of the song "Last Cup of Coffee" and her behavior after its was privated as one of these violations. It also noted that February 5, 2024 is her official last day, her social media is now private, her YouTube membership is closed, and merchandise sales will gradually end.
This comes after a series of incidents that started in December 2023. First, after investing her own money and working on a cover and music video of LilyPichu's "Last Cup of Coffee," Anycolor pulled it. Selen then advised fans to reupload it separately.
Following that announcement, Anycolor noted that the Nijisanji EN Vtuber would be on a break. A post was made on her social media account noting she was in the hospital. She was then released just after 2024 began. However, after that the company announced she would not be at the Anime Impulse convention as planned.
Selen Tatsuki joined the organization back in July 2021. She debuted at the same time as Petra Gurin and Rosemi Lovelock. She was known for playing games, especially titles in the FPS genre. She also would sing, with her original songs being "Fly High" and the track "Black Out" performed with Petra and Rosemi. She also competed in various tournaments, being part of V-Saikyo 2023 on Team Snake Bite with Cover Holostars Vtubers Axel Syrios and Regis Altare, the Apex Legends Charity Pro-Am, and organizing and participating in the HoloNiji Apex Custom Tournament.
The graduation of Selen Tatsuki will mark the second major Nijisanji EN one for Anycolor in 2024. Pomu Rainpuff announced earlier in January 2024 that she would be leaving the company.
