With the recent release of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth once again putting the spotlight on the long-running series of RPGs, there are more newcomers to the franchise than maybe ever before. But Rebirth, being a direct continuation of 2020's Remake and a kind of metatextual commentary on the original FF7, isn't really a…

     All Reveil collectible locations

How do you find all of the Reveil collectibles? Spread throughout each of this psychological puzzle thriller's five chapters are a total of 36 collectible items that add a little bit of lore. However, as you'd expect, such a puzzle game is rather dark or with stark lighting, making finding these collectibles – especially because they're not noticeable unless directly looked at – a challenge that rivals the difficult puzzles you'll come across. Never fear, for we've put together a guide for all we've found.

Interested in learning more about Reveil? We have guides covering some of the hardest puzzles in the game, including how to get out of Dorie's room in Reveil. Otherwise, continue on to discover where to find all 36 collectibles in the game.

AVerMedia Live Gamer Ultra 2.1 review

AVerMedia's Live Gamer Ultra 2.1 is a hotly anticipated review subject. As the first device to capture 4K footage at 60fps with 4K144 pass-through over HDMI 2.1, this is as cutting-edge a capture tool as currently exists. On that basis, this is the watershed moment many console and PC gamers (including myself) have been waiting for.

Renowned among gamers for the video prowess of its products, AVerMedia is no newcomer to the video capture game, with a legacy dating back to the early 90s, it has a reassuring product history, so when it says it's going to make a simple-to-use 4K HDMI 2.1 capture device, you can be pretty confident it'll be a solid product.

The question is, does it make capturing footage from next-gen consoles and PCs a plug-and-play breeze? I'm hoping this 4K capture card is the start of a new breed of high-spec, easy-to-use products set to shake up the streaming market over the next 12 months and compete with the best capture cards.

Of course, It's not a capture card as such; it's an external USB-C-powered video capture box that draws its juice from a PC (or Mac running Windows) via a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port. To be clear, that's a setup essential rather than a nice-to-have, so make sure your system supports those specs before shelling out for it.

Which brings me neatly to my next question. The Live Gamer Ultra 2.1 isn't cheap. So, has AVerMedia hit the spot with its new capture device, or is that ambitious spec a bridge too far? Read my full AVerMedia Live Gamer Ultra 2.1 review to find out.

The MSI Claw looks set to be another admirable PC gaming handheld, but whether or not it dethrones the Steam Deck OLED remains to be seen. As the first major Intel handheld, it feels as though there is more riding on the success of the Claw A1M.

On paper, the MSI Claw has the makings of one of the best PC gaming handhelds, even if it may struggle to catch up to the Steam Deck right away. Now, following a release date leak, we know when we'll be getting our hands on a retail unit, but that comes with a caveat.

Diablo 4 Season 4 release date

When does Diablo 4 Season 4 start? A much-loved feature from Diablo 3 makes its return in D4 with the (re)introduction of seasons, adding everything from new questlines to items, gameplay mechanics, and more. Expanding on the rich, gothic world of Sanctuary, Blizzard makes sure players have plenty to sink their teeth into, whether you're a fresh-faced player taking their first steps into Sanctuary or a grizzled veteran of the Burning Hells.

It may be some time before we'll see Diablo 4 Season 4, but the good news is that it comes after the arrival of D4 on Game Pass. Just like every other seasonal event, it adds a whole bunch of new content to explore in Blizzard's action RPG game, no matter whether you're a level 100 player who's been around since the Diablo 4 release date or someone who is considering jumping into the game now it's coming to Game Pass.

One of the greatest FPS games in all of PC history is now just $2

What are the most influential PC games in history? Civilization has to be up there. Doom. Half-Life. I'd definitely throw Baldur's Gate into the hat these days, likewise Fallout and The Elder Scrolls. And you know, it's hard to overstate the significance of The Sims. World of Warcraft definitely deserves a mention, too. But if I'm thinking of a specific type of game - an FPS and immersive sim where you discover the entire story through exploration and interaction, and tweak the way you play based on different stats and abilities - one game stands above all. Inspired by Thief The Dark Project, and launching close to Deus Ex, without this epochal PC shooter, we'd have no BioShock, and maybe no Dishonored. And now it's all yours for $2.

WWE 2K24 codes March 2024 – all locker codes

What are the new WWE 2K24 locker codes? One of the many modes in WWE's latest wrestling game is the returning MyFaction mode. For those who don't know, this is a variant on the premium mode from other 2K sports games, where the aim is to build a faction of wrestlers to take on online challenges against AI or matches against other player-controlled teams.

These WWE 2K24 locker codes are specifically for the MyFaction mode, so if you're looking for other WWE 2K24 unlockables, then we have a separate guide to help you get all the Wrestlemania arenas and MyRise unlockables, as well as the ability to play as all the WWE Legends. Instead, these WWE 2K24 codes work similarly to the NBA 2K24 locker codes, which tend to come and go in the blink of an eye. If you don't want to miss out, you can check out the newest ones below.

     Best games like Minecraft 2024

What are the best games like Minecraft? Way back in 2010, a little game called Minecraft proved to be a revelation in video games, inspiring a whole generation of players and developers in the process. It's a blocky sandbox world that essentially lets us create anything we like and share it with our friends. The cultural phenomenon sold millions of copies, even before Microsoft acquired developer Mojang Studios in 2014.

Since its initial release, there have been a plethora of Minecraft clones. Each does their best to match one of the best PC games of all time, but few have really delivered the whole package like Minecraft does. Sometimes, though, you may only want part of the Minecraft experience, augmented with other aspects that make the Minecraft-like unique. That's where this guide to the best games like Minecraft comes in. All the games on this list are similar to Minecraft in some fashion, be they crafting games, building games, adventure games, or an altogether different part of what makes Minecraft our favorite blocky game.

How to get out of Dorie's room in Reveil

Where is the Reveil sketch book key in Dorie's room? Reveil is based on a circus family, so of course there are games aplenty as you progress through the horror game. A classic creepy, psychological game, pretty much every door you walk through in Reveil closes behind you, so get ready to solve some puzzles to get yourself back out of Dorie's room.

To get out of Dorie's room in Reveil, you need to find the key to her drawing book, and doing so requires following her hand-drawn map through a series of puzzles and games. While it is a horror game, Reveil is also a puzzle game at its core, but if your grey matter has been worn out by fear, then we can help you find the sketch book key and get out of Dorie's room.

Here's how to use pantyhose to stop dust from getting into your PC

In this guide, we'll show you how to stop your PC's interior getting dusty, by making your own PC case dust filter. There may be additional fan mounts in your case that lack filters, letting dust into the interior, but you don't have to put up with it.

Now's your chance to stop dust getting into your PC case, and it won't cost you much in terms of time or effort either. In this tutorial, we'll take you through the process off making your own dust filter with metal mesh, as well as simply using some old pantyhose.

Reveil prop chest combination lock puzzle solution

How do you unlock the Reveil prop chest combination lock? Clowns, ghost trains, sawing people in half.... the circus is a pretty terrifying place and the ideal location for a horror game, but Reveil takes the trope one step further by putting us behind the scenes, starting in our circus designer's house.

Much of Reveil is a puzzle game, and most chapters feature at least one multi-step conundrum. In chapter two, you enter Walter's garage, with neon symbols painted on the walls and ceiling. Three of these are the solution to a combination lock, but there are a few things you have to do to find out which three. If you just want the solution to the combination lock and don't want to know how we got there, head straight to the bottom of the guide.

How to make a spray paint stencil for your PC case

In this guide, we'll show you how to make a spray paint stencil for your PC case using a cutting machine. These machines, such as the Silhouette Portrait we've used for this guide, can cut out vinyl for you with perfect accuracy, leaving you with the task of just transferring the vinyl to your PC.

This is invaluable when it comes to creating spray paint stencils with vinyl. It can be very difficult and time-consuming to create vinyl cut-outs by hand with a scalpel, but a cutting machine will do all the work for you, and quickly too. If you're planning to build a gaming PC that's unique to you, then using a spray paint stencil offers an easy way to paint a logo or image on your rig with professional precision.

In this guide, we'll show you how to spray paint acrylic hard tubing for your water cooling system. By adding masking to your rigid tubing and spraying over it, you can easily add spirals, lines, or ring patterns, using a background color that allows your coolant to show through.

If you're planning to water cool your PC, then using rigid tubing will look great if you're prepared to put in all the cutting and bending work. Once you've sorted out your tubing, you then just need to follow the steps below to add some colored patterns. You'll just need some edging tape, plastic primer, and color spray paint, and you can take your hardline loop to the next level.

How to paint your AIO cooler

In this guide, we'll show you how to paint an AIO cooler. Your all-in-one (AIO) liquid CPU cooler is often the centerpiece of your PC's aesthetics, with RGB-lit pumps and fans included on many models these days. The pump/waterblock unit sits on your CPU, so it sits at the heart of your PC, which makes the lighting really stand out.

However, let's face it, even if you have the best AIO cooler, it will still stick out like a sore thumb if it's a black cooler in a white PC, and vice versa. Thankfully, you don't need to fork out for a whole new cooler just to color-match it to the rest of your system – it's a simple job to spray-paint your CPU cooler in any color you like, and it's relatively cheap as well.

How to customize your PC using vinyl

In this guide, we'll show you how to use vinyl to customize your PC case. If you want to give your case a makeover with a new color scheme, and maybe some fancy effects and patterns, using vinyl is often cheaper, quicker, less messy, and easier to work with than spray painting. What's more, vinyl wrap is simpler to remove than paint, whether you mess it up or if you just want to change colors.

Even the very best PC case models often only come in a limited choice of colors and finishes, but vinyl wrap enables you to cover your case in any color you like, while using a precision cutter, such as a Silhouette Portrait enables you to make detailed logos and artwork. That's great if you're planning to build a gaming PC with your own unique, personal touches. In our example, we're covering our case's front panel with yellow vinyl, and adding a Cyberpunk 2077 logo.

How to cut and bend hard water cooling tubing

In this guide, we'll show you how to cut hard water cooling tubing made from Acrylic and PETG. Acrylic is by far the most popular material used for rigid tubing in water-cooling systems, but polyethylene terephthalate glycol (PETG) serves a similar purpose, allowing you to show off your colored coolant and offering the ability to include clean bends and a super-snazzy look with your PC.

If you're planning to build a water cooled PC, then hardline tubing will make it look great. The bending process can be a challenge, though, and creating a hard tube loop will be much more time-consuming than using flexible tubing. This guide is for enthusiasts who want to play with bends and create a unique looking PC with a custom water cooling loop.

14 years later, beloved RPG game is suddenly blowing up on Steam

I love when this happens. In the frenetic, fast-moving world of videogames, it seems like a lot of great work is quickly consumed, disposed of, and forgotten. Either that, or we pick a game - just one game, like Diablo 4 or Skyrim - and stick with it for years and years, neglecting to see what else is around. When something great from the past that we might otherwise have never played suddenly explodes again on Steam, it's a nice reminder that some games are so good and so loved they can never truly disappear. 14 years since it first launched, one classic RPG game, with a full 10/10 rating from players, is suddenly taking over Valve's platform. Like a legendary band stepping out for one final tour, if you want to enjoy the resurgence for yourself, this one is also 90% off.

Eco is a very ambitious, wildly reactive multiplayer survival game in which you try to save the world without accidentally destroying it. There's a meteor scheduled to slamdunk the planet in 30 days, and in that time, you and your fellow players must progress from raising log cabins in the woods to building the means to develop technologies that might somehow avert the apocalypse. The trouble is, pioneering said apocalypse-averting technologies might itself bring about disaster in a gameworld that simulates things like habitat death, species extinction, air pollution and catastrophic flooding.

Players must thus walk a careful line between resource exploitation and self-inflicted calamity by monitoring their impact on the overall simulation, founding the right kind of government, and passing laws or devising economies (including player-created currencies) that don't flip the ecosystem upside down. The Steam reviews teem with anecdotes about people waking up to find their oil wells underwater, and it sounds like things will only get knottier when Eco releases out of early access around the end of this year.

I still don't fully understand the rancor with which the RTX 4070 Ti is often regarded. Where some see an overpriced, memory-deprived albatross of a graphics card, I've only ever seen a fast and feature-rich GPU whose 12GB of VRAM is demonstrably fine for 99.95% of games at 4K. A better deal than the RTX 4080 for that resolution, in any case.

Now, though, we can all agree: nobody should buy an RTX 4070 Ti. Not when the RTX 4070 Ti Super is here, doing a better, hopefully less contentious job of smooth 4K without demanding RTX 4080 (or, indeed, RTX 4080 Super) levels of investment.

Last week's alleged Epic Games hack was a scam, so-called "ransomware" group Mogilevich have confessed, or at least, are reported to have confessed in a self-congratulary new statement. The group have not, it now seems, stolen a bunch of login data, WIP software and payment information from the creators of Fortnite; they were only pretending to have done so with a view to duping other hackers into buying their tools.

Or at least, that's what they're said to be saying now. I haven't tracked down the original source for Mogilevich's latest statement, and in any case, anything you read from a self-described "professional fraudster" should probably be treated with caution. Still, it lines up with Epic's own comments last week that there was no real sign that a hack had taken place.

Temte Final Updates

Crema, developer of the creature-training game Temtem, released an open letter to players discussing the game's final updates and the future of the franchise and the studio. The first of these updates is 1.7, and it is set to arrive in June, 2024, and will remove microtransactions from the game.

The letter began with the team at Crema apologizing for confusion around the use of the term MMO to describe the game and for the failure to implement the promised API into it. After that it addressed the demand for new content and TemTem types, the team decided that the amount of player retention these updates garnered did not reflect the amount of time and effort put into them. While DLC was considered, Crema did not want to split the playerbase or introduce potential pay-to-win elements. It will instead be focusing on other projects, such as the upcoming TemTem: Swarm and Project: Downbelow. An offline mode is also not planned due to slim server costs, meaning they expect the servers to remain perpetually online.

The studio then went on to detail the upcoming 1.7 and 1.8 updates coming to the game, the latter of which is intended to be the final "feature-oriented patch." Update 1.7 is intended to launch sometime in June 2024, and it will bring a new season, a new Tamer Pass, and remove the premium currency Novas from the game. Items previously purchasable with Novas will now be available for Feathers instead. Update 1.8 will make previous Tamer Passes available to switch between and complete to reduce "fear of missing out."

Temtem launched out of Early Access with Update 1.0 back in September, 2022, which also brought the game to Switch and Xbox. More recently, Crema announced the development of TemTem: Swarm, a Vampire Survivors-like game hoping to launch in quarter 3 of 2024.

TemTem is available now on PC, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X, with the first of the final feature updates set to arrive sometime in June 2024.

Hololive Dodecamin crossover campaign featuring Secret Society holoX Vtubers

Cover revealed that it will hold a crossover campaign between Hololive Production and Asahi Soft Drinks' energy drink brand Dodecamin. This collaboration will feature all five members of the Japanese Hololive sixth-generation group Secret Society holoX: Sakamata Chloe, Takane Lui, La+ Darknesss, Hakui Koyori, and Kazama Iroha. Cover and Asahi promised a new music video by the group upon its successful completion.

The campaign will begin on March 12, 2024. It will task people to purchase Hololive-branded Dodecamin BIG 600ml bottles in convenience stores across Japan, such as Seven-Eleven, FamilyMart, and Lawson. If a combined total sales amount of four million bottles is recorded by May 13, 2024, Cover will guarantee the publication of a new holoX music video.

Every participant in the campaign can receive bonuses featuring the holoX Vtubers. Each bottle purchase will come with a point that they can use to unlock a downloadable wallpaper for smartphones. They can also spend 3 points to download conversational voices where the Vtubers talk about trips to various regions in Japan. All participants will also be entered into lotteries that reward merchandise like acrylic stands and large tapestries.

The campaign will also encourage each person to buy multiple bottles to earn more rewards. Those who purchase 5 bottles and reach the Bronze rank will be able to download avatar icons of the holoX Vtubers. The Silver rank at 10 bottles will give people a chance to be one of the 50 lucky winners to have their names listed in the upcoming holoX music video. They can also improve their chances for every other 10 bottles purchased. The Gold rank at 15 bottles will come with a special certificate signed by the Vtubers.

A separate sweepstake involving the social media platform X will take place before the primary campaign. Asahi's official X account will post tweets promoting the crossover on March 8, 2024. People who have an active X account and reside in Japan can join the sweepstakes by reposting the tweets by March 14, 2024. Ten lucky people will win a QUO payment card worth 1,000 yen and a full set of acrylic stands featuring all five holoX Vtubers.

The Hololive - Dodecamin crossover campaign will run in Japan from March 12, 2024, to May 13, 2024.

Baldur's Gate 3 Xbox Series X Physical Copy Needs 4 Discs

Larian Studios Director of Publishing Michael Douse took to social media to confirm the Baldur's Gate 3 Xbox Series X physical copies sold in retail stores will include four discs. This confirmation comes after post that suggested it could be three or four on March 1, 2024

Here is Douse's full statement. He noted that Baldur's Gate 3 is specifically 500mb too big to be on three discs for the Xbox Series X.

https://twitter.com/Cromwelp/status/1764652203942252984

This version of Baldur's Gate 3 debuted back in December 2024, and at the time the physical copy that'd show up at retail stores was estimated to be about three discs in size. That copy is expected to appear in stores in 2024.

The last major patch for Baldur's Gate 3 arrived back in February 2024. It added some new kissing animations and idle ones, as well as a number of fixes for problems in the game. Hotfix 20 also included some more bug fixes at the end of last month as well.

Baldur's Gate 3 is available for the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC digitally. The Xbox Series X physical copies of the game will head to stores in 2024, though no exact date has been set for the release just yet.

The helmet cup will be available in Japan with a price tag of 7,920 yen. Castem has also confirmed that it can accept international orders via eBay at $73.53. Final Fantasy XIV Mount Lets You Fly on a Moon with a Loporrit

Square Enix revealed its new Final Fantasy XIV mount is a Crescent Moon with a Loporrit. It costs $24 via the game's Online Store.

Basically, you're getting a glowing yellow moon with a Loporrit on the end and a white sheet cascading off of it. As with all mounts someone buys via this method, it's account-wide. It works with all character types, though they could look different when in use. You do need to unlock mounts in the MMO before you can use it. You can't store it in an armoire or glamour dresser. Also, you can't sell it once you get it.

There's also a trailer that shows the Crescent Moon mount. It shows how it looks while moving and stationary initially. The Loporrit is also animated. Toward the end, it shows how characters from different races look when using it.

Finally, here's a gallery showing it from the front and back.

As a reminder, the Loporrit race ended up being introduced in the Endwalker expansion. It's a race of bunny-like NPCs.

Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PS4, PS5, and PC. The Xbox Series X open beta is live now. The Dawntrail expansion will launch in Summer 2024.

Street Fighter V Type Arcade

Street Fighter V will no longer be playable in arcades as of April 2024. Capcom and Taito announced that they will shut down Street Fighter V: Type Arcade on April 1, 2024. In addition, the companies will also take down the arcade version's website on April 7, 2024. [Thanks, 4Gamer.]

The end-of-service announcement page includes a Q&A segment that confirms the arcade version will be rendered completely unplayable—even in offline mode—after the shutdown. The only way people can still play Street Fighter V afterward is by purchasing the fighting game on PlayStation 4 or PC via Steam.

The arcade version of Street Fighter V launched in 2019, which is three years after the fighting game appeared first on PS4 and PC in 2016. Despite being the series' first mainline entry to not appear in arcades first, it also offers integration features to support console players, such as external gamepad connection and Fighter's ID linkage. The latter allows players to bring character costumes and color palettes they have unlocked in the console versions to the arcade version.

The removal of Street Fighter V's arcade release does not mean that the fighting game series will cease to exist entirely in arcades. Capcom and Taito have launched the sequel Street Fighter 6: Type Arcade on December 14, 2023. The new game had a much shorter gap of just around half a year between the arcade launch and the initial console version release on June 2, 2023.

Street Fighter V: Type Arcade is available in arcades until Monday, April 1, 2024, at 5:59 AM JST.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth ThunderclawCompleting missions for Chadley in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is a great way to earn Materia and other rare rewards, but sometimes, the enemies he tasks you with defeating are frustrating to fight. One such example is Fiend Intel 6: Voltaic Canine, which requires you to Pressure, Stagger, and defeat a Thunderclaw. The Thunderclaw is one of the hardest enemies to fight in the early game portion of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth since it has a very particular weakness that you might not have access to yet. If you have the right Materia, however, then taking down the Thunderclaw and compelting all optional objectives for this Fiend Intel mission is a breeze. How to Pressure and Stagger Thunderclaw in FF7 Rebirth To Pressure the Thunderclaw in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, you need to inflict it with a detrimental status effect. Any debuff works, so you can cast Bio to poison it or Deprotect to lower its physical defense. Red XIII knows Bio by default, and you can buy Poison Materia from the sho...
