When you reach the Checkpoint Rest Town, the settlement on the Vermund-Battahl Border, you're introduced to a unique mechanic that can be used numerous times in the game. There's a vendor in this town that allows you to create forgeries, and we're going to use this to our advantage in the Hunt for the Jadeite Orb quest. While you can complete this quest early on in Dragon's Dogma 2, we'd recommend waiting until you've reached The Caged Magistrate main quest first as you can kill two birds with one stone. Don't worry, unlike the Rodge location quest that also takes place here, you can take as much time as you want to finish the quest. My grasp of reality TV basically ends with the finale of the very first season of Big Brother, feat. Nasty Nick. But you could argue that you don't need to watch reality TV to understand and enjoy reality TV, because the basic reality TV thrill of forming weird parasocial attachments to people who are role-playing as themselves is now the golden rule of digital society generally. "'Reality' stuff is huge now, and it's not just reality TV," says Nicole He, designer of The Crush House - an enticing, absurdist and engrossingly unpleasant new sim from Reigns and Card Shark developers Nerial. "It's any kind of celebrity or influencer or streamer or something like that - there are so many parasocial relationships in that way, and I think that really started with reality TV, and then [continued] in the era of social media. It was the afternoon of day four at GDC, my adrenaline reserves were spent, and there I was, in a warm, shuttered hotel room, with two men gently bombarding me with French-accented details of synergies, stackable trinkets and i-frames (I'm aware that the scenario I've just described is probably somebody's kink - let's move swiftly on). Windblown itself is an airy, bright fusillade of Saturday morning cartoon vibes, a series of breakneck arena fights waged on procedurally generated island chains floating against a whirlpool sky. It's all shaping up very nicely, and if I'd been playing the demo, I'm sure it would have woken me up better than any emergency deluge of instant coffee. But watching somebody else tear through this stratospheric world simply overloaded my depleted senses, and I came perilously close to nodding off. |

It's got that specific blend of Hollow Knight: Silksong -esque maudlin and whimsy that I personally love, skirting around the edges of both without slipping too readily into Tim Burton territory. Bellanoir can't be captured, but she does drop a Pal Egg on defeat. The Japanese voice actor Yuichiro Umehara is revealed to have been already married. A reporter from Smart Flash spotted the voice actor meeting his wife at a cafe in early April 2024.
When approached by the reporter, the voice actor confirmed that he got married when he was around 25 or 26 years old. As Umehara was born in 1991, that would be around the year 2016 or 2017.
Yuichiro Umehara's wife is of the same age as him, and she is currently working as an accessory designer. She attended the same university as Umehara, and that's where the two got acquainted. They had been dating for a long time until they eventually got married.
Umehara also revealed that he did not want to announce his marriage because he wanted to separate his private life from work. Another staff member in the Japanese voice-acting industry added that there are many female fans who actually fall in love with him, and they would surely be heartbroken if they were to know Yuichiro Umehara is already married.
Born on March 8, 1991, Yuichiro Umehara made his debut as a voice actor in 2013. He had his first leading role as the merman Wakasa in the 2014 anime adaptation of Merman in My Tub. His name started rising to prominence after he received a role in Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans as Eugene Seven Stark in 2015.
The voice actor has since added more roles to his list, which include Siegfried Kircheis in Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These, the antagonist Zoltan Akkanen in Mobile Suit Gundam Narrative, Cyrus Albright in Octopath Traveler, and the eponymous protagonist of Goblin Slayer.

Square Enix announced that the next patch for FFVII Rebirth will fix a bug that impedes completion of the "Can't Stop, Won't Stop" Side Quest in Chapter 12. The bug first appeared within the version 1.020 patch, which released on March 21, 2024.
Square Enix hasn't specified when it will release the next FFVII Rebirth patch, and the company apologized for the inconveniences caused. The part of the quest that players are unable to complete is the G-Bike section of the Ultimate Party Animal challenge. Many players online have reported that, after achieving the required high score in this section, the game won't acknowledge it. It instead prompts players to repeat the G-Bike section again, regardless of the results.
As completion for this Side Quest is required for one of the trophies in the game, this also means that the Platinum Trophy for FFVII Rebirth is currently inaccessible for those playing the digital version of the game who didn't already earn it ahead of the patch. Owners of the physical edition have resorted to downgrading to the default unpatched version of the game, loading a save file made before the version 1.020 patch rolled out, and completing the challenge.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is immediately available for the PlayStation 5. The console exclusivity arrangement will end on May 29, 2024.

Nintendo announced that child versions of older characters are returning to Fire Emblem Heroes, and this time they come from Fire Emblem Awakening. The male version of Robin, Emmeryn, Lissa, Frederick, and a duo unit that includes the female version of Robin and Chrom will appear once the banner debuts on April 5, 2024.
Four of these units will be available via the Double Vision banner. Robin, Emmeryn, Lissa, and Robin with Chrom will all appear as five-star units, with Lissa also showing up as a four-star. Frederick will only be available via Tempest Trials+ as a four and five-star unit.
For the characters in the trailer, we know what sorts of units to expect. All four of them are infantry units. Robin wields a red tome. Emmeryn comes bearing a colorless staff. Lissa uses a green axe. Finally, the Robin and Chrom duo unit use a blue tome. The video did reveal that the child version of Frederick will be a cavalry unit, however.
Every year, Fire Emblem Heroes gets a banner with child versions of existing characters. For example, one of the last ones involved folks from Path of Radiance.
Fire Emblem Heroes is available for mobile devices, and the Double Vision banner with child versions of Awakening characters runs April 5, 2024, then ends on May 4, 2024.

A new lineup of NieR Automata figures appeared in Japan, and people can get them at random from Gashapon vending machines. Bandai revealed that it is gradually releasing the NieR Automata Ver1.1a Capsule Figure Collection in the first week of April 2024. As of April 4, 2024, the figures have been available in the most populated areas on Honshu island from Sendai to Osaka. [Thanks, Hobby Watch!]
A total of five figures are available in this collection. They consist of 2B, 9S, Pod 042, Pod 153, and a Machine Lifeform. People will have to spend 500 yen to pull a random figure capsule from the vending machine.
Most of the figures will come with a set of stand parts. Bandai has published a guide page to help people assemble the stands. The same page also reveals that people who have obtained a pod (042 or 153) and a character (2B or 9S) will be able to combine the stands for both figures.

These are not the only NieR Automata figures to come from the Bandai Namco Group. Bandai Spirits has released SH Figuarts action figures of 2B and 9S in early 2024. It will also launch an Ichiban Kuji lottery that primarily features 2B figures and busts in late June 2024.
The NieR Automata Ver1.1a Capsule Figure Collection is now available in Gashapon vending machines across Japan.

PocketPair dropped the v0.2.0.6 Palworld update and its patch notes, which confirm the new Bellanoir Raid and add helpful items like Training Manuals. Once someone downloads it, they can immediately start finding the new equipment and items or head to a Summoning Altar for a Raid.
With the Raid, there will different versions to challenge. For example, an Extreme version will appear. You'll need to get a slab and bring it to a Summoning Altar to fight Bellanoir in Palworld. Once you do, you won't be able to capture it. However, you may get a Pal Egg from the fight. So you might need to rechallenge Bellanoir multiple times to get an egg.
As for the new Palworld items, many of them are like the Training Manuals and offer new ways to improve your Pals. The Training Manual grants a Pal some experience when used, you can use different types of fruits to boost their stats, and you could

Aiming has announced that it will shut down the Nintendo Switch version of Caravan Stories on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at 11 AM JST. The company has also immediately stopped sales of premium gold and gems on the platform. However, it will continue to hold seasonal events until the end-of-service date.
Aiming first revealed the Switch version of Caravan Stories in late November 2020. The company eventually released that version on March 18, 2021, although it is only available in the Japanese language. That means the Switch version has run for slightly over three years by the time Aiming made this end-of-service announcement.
Caravan Stories first appeared on PC, iOS, and Android mobile devices in Japan in late November 2017. Aiming later worked with Sony Interactive Entertainment to bring the online game to PlayStation 4 internationally to East and Southeast Asia in April 2019, and North America in September 2019.
Aiming only supports save data linkage between the PC and mobile versions. Players on the Switch version cannot transfer their data to other platforms, so it will be completely lost after the shutdown. In addition, the company will not support refunds for unused premium gold and gems purchased in the Switch version.
Caravan Stories is still available on PC, iOS, Android, and PlayStation 4 for the foreseeable future. The online game will no longer be available on Nintendo Switch after June 13, 2024.

Square Enix has announced that it will produce and sell new Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy merchandise tailored for pets. The company has also set up a webpage for the new SQEX Pets brand that will cover these items.
The company will create products for pets modeled after its popular game franchises. The lineup will launch with items for pets based on Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy VII , and Kingdom Hearts. Tetsuya Nomura also joins the project by supervising the Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts-themed item designs. He also drew a new logo for the Final Fantasy & Pets brand that features Final Fantasy VII's Cait Sith and Red XIII.
Here are the sample images for some of the pet products Square Enix is working on. Although all of the images shown so far only feature dogs, the company gave assurance in its press release that it will also release products for cats.
In addition, Square Enix also revealed that it is attending the 13th Interpets Asia Pacific trade fair at Tokyo Big Sight. Although the event begins on April 4, 2024, the first day is limited to business people.
The public will be able to enter the venue on April 5-7, 2024, from 10 AM to 5 PM JST. Square Enix's booth will feature samples of the above products and two photo booths where visitors can take pictures with their pets. The company will also sell other merchandise ranging from stationery to plushes.
Although Square Enix has revealed the new SQEX Pets merchandise line, it has yet to announce the release window for these products. The company even added a fine print on the webpage that depending on the development progress, these items may not be actually sold.
