Dragon Ball Sparking Zero release date estimate and latest news

When is the Dragon Ball Sparking Zero release date? While its subtitle may be unfamiliar to Western audiences, Sparking Zero is the long-awaited Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 4. After a 16-year hiatus, publisher Bandai Namco has drafted in Spike Chunsoft – the original studio at the helm of Budokai Tenkaichi – to ensure Sparking Zero remains an authentic Dragon Ball experience for fans and newcomers alike, and we've got all the latest surrounding its release date.

Dragon Ball Sparking Zero ushers the popular 3D arena brawler onto current-gen platforms, and we expect it to take advantage of all the latest tech to ensure the fighting game looks and feels as smooth as ever. Aside from the core gameplay mechanics that define the Budokai Tenkaichi series, Sparking Zero is also set to include "genre-defining features" to create "one of the most immersive anime game experiences of all time" according to Bandai Namco CEO Arnaud Muller. Here's everything you need to know ahead of the Dragon Ball Sparking Zero release date.

Cities Skylines 2 has just been totally transformed by Colossal Order

I think this could be the start of the big Cities Skylines 2 comeback. If the city building sequel has failed to inspire its most devout fans since launch, owing to problems with difficulty, in-game production, building demands, and other finer points of the overall simulation, Colossal Order is about to transform the entire Cities Skylines 2 economy and in the process rebalance the game entirely. The 'Economy 2.0' update is going to be gigantic, and based on new details from CO, seemingly addresses some of our deepest concerns.

     Best CS2 weapons and guns

What are the best CS2 guns? There are over 20 different weapons to pick from in Counter-Strike 2, but there are a few guns in there that you can certainly avoid. From pistols to assault rifles, there are certain factors you need to think about before you spend your hard-earned cash. It's not always about picking the best gun you can afford at that moment, you also need to think about how much cash your team has.

Counter-Strike 2 is different from a lot of popular FPS games whereby your weapons must be purchased each round. The only two CS2 guns you always have access to are the starting pistol and knife; everything else must be purchased from the in-game store or looted from a dead player. Once you've picked out your CS2 crosshair codes and sorted out your CS2 binds, it's time to think about the best CS2 guns and when you should consider buying them.

What are the best police games? We have all briefly considered life as a super sleuth or detective. Whether drawn in by the position of authority, the puzzling casework, or even the hard-drinking, police games tend to deliver plenty of action and intrigue.

However, unlike many of the best PC games, cops aren't all gunslingers in John Woo-esque shootouts or chasing criminals in high-speed car chases.      Legendary MMORPG dev's new game is like Runescape with zombies

Okay, let's talk serious PC gaming favorites, the retro and contemporary classics that have made our beloved platform into what it is today. Runescape, lovingly relaunched as Old School Runescape, definitely belongs in the annals of PC history. Likewise, Left 4 Dead and, more recently, DayZ - if zombies and survival are two of gaming's most popular tropes, DayZ is the game that combines them most effectively. Now let's take all three of these games and mix them together. From the makers of pioneering '90s MMORPG Tibia, this is like a new Runescape game with zombies and guns instead of goblins and spells.

SteelSeries Arctis Nova 5 Wireless review: a new mid-tier contender

SteelSeries has built up quite the reputation in the headset market over the years and while its premium offerings are where you will find the best overall experience, the revised Arctis Nova 5 Wireless is a surprise package that won't break the bank. This new headset takes the focus away from being a plug-and-play device, instead releasing alongside a companion app, packed full of over 100 game-specific sound profiles.

The SteelSeries Nova 5 has all the makings of one of the best wireless gaming headsets and is priced just right for where the market is at the moment. However, every time it does something great, like the pre-baked sound profiles, there's a contradicting niggle that stops it from feeling like the total package, such as only being able to edit these profiles on PC.

In EA's Desert Strike - released way back in the dim salvages of 1992 - you are a helicopter pilot scooting around a Sylvester Stallone reinvention of Iraq, shooting down tanks and fighters with guns and missiles while rescuing VIPs and fretting constantly about your wafer-thin armour and espresso-sized fuel reserves. It was a no-frills piece of Gulf War fanfic, complete with George Bush ending cameo, and a well-made shooter that used to drive me nuts on Sega Mega Drive.

Megacopter: Blades Of The Goddess is Desert Strike, but heavily Blood-Dragonified and with a big dollop of Airwolf to boot. Here, the enemy troops are naughty Reptoid aliens, the writing is scattershot-satirical (upgrades are bought with pizza tokens) and your helicopter houses the soul of a blood-drinking "AZ-TECH" goddess. Is it a nuanced parody of the Strike series? It doesn't feel like it. Did I enjoy the demo? Yes. Does it have a crawling tentacle boss called Queen Oildusa? Also yes, and will you please stop asking questions so I can write the rest of this article.

Summer Game Fest has emerged as a hub for a lot of developers seeking eyes. The 2-hour show hosted by marketing man Geoff Keighley will be broadcasting on Friday, blasting you in the ocular nerves with, probably, a lot of games. However, most of these games will not be brand new, exciting reveals, said Keighley himself in a fresh Twitch Q & A. "There will be, definitely, new announcements," he said, "but the show is largely focused on, I think, existing games that have new updates for fans." He's mentioning this ahead of time, he said, to set expectations.

I'm sure you could fill a bottomless pit with the things Larian decided not to add to Baldur's Gate 3. One of those things was, in fact, a bottomless pit. Not just a bottomless pit, but a conveniently portable, Looney Tunes-esque hole into which you could seemingly chuck everything from items and equipment to characters. Speaking to me during the same interview in which they discussed long-abandoned plans for bringing back Baldur's Gate 1's Candlekeep, Larian CEO Swen Vincke and Baldur's Gate 3 lead writer Adam Smith (RPS in peace) touched on the subject with tantalising brevity. Argh, if only I hadn't had to run off and catch a taxi, I'd still be there now, discussing the many applications of a portable hole. Bypassing carrying capacity limits would just be the start of it.

A DIY engineer has created a realistic tank simulator that puts the average haptic controller to shame. The mechanical monster is jury-rigged to the top of an office desk and must be reloaded with a new shell after every shot. The recoil is terrifying. It's operated by three people: one person drives the tank with a steering wheel and levers, another uses cranks to aim the gun barrel, and a third reloads the shells that eject automatically from the chamber after every desk-lifting blast. The "shells" in question are 2-litre bottles of fizzy drink, and the crew has set up a whole rack of these bottles for panicked reloading. If you are the kind of person who yearns for the immersion of the legendary Steel Battalion controller then you will get a definite buzz from watching the death machine in action below.

Monster Hunter Wilds Handler and Smithy Characters Revealed

Capcom revealed profiles for some of the upcoming Monster Hunter Wilds characters. In particular, Alma the handler and Gemma the smithy were introduced.

Alma is basically the Guild Receptionist character for Monster Hunter Wilds. So she's the equivalent of Handler in Monster Hunter: World or Chichae in Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak. As noted in the social media reveal, she won't just remain at the hub. She'll actually join you when you adventure.

Here's the official announcement going over Alma and showing her art:

https://twitter.com/monsterhunter/status/1796950067540107538

As for Gemma, she won't be heading out on adventures. She is our Research Commission Smithy blacksmith. Players will need to bring monster parts to her to craft and upgrade equipment.

Here's her official reveal:

In addition to these two Monster Hunter Wilds profiles for characters, Capcom recently shared a peek at this installment's Felyne model. It showed the cat-like character all dressed up, wielding a hammer and fishing pole, and ready to travel.

We got a better look at Monster Hunter Wilds recently. The first gameplay trailer appeared at the May 2024 State of Play.

Monster Hunter Wilds will come to the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam in 2025.

Baldur's Gate 3 Mod Support Closed Alpha Starts

Larian Studios already announced official modding support for Baldur's Gate 3, but now the mod support closed alpha is about to begin. The developer noted on Steam that some modders were invited to take part in this phase to offer feedback and test things out, ahead of a wider closed beta.

An expected timeline for the Patch 7 testing appeared alongside the announcement. First, only modders Larian selected are currently testing out the Baldur's Gate 3 tools at the moment. The goal is for them to adapt mods they already made. In July 2024, 1,000 more people can register for a closed beta. This won't be limited to mod creators. Anyone can play and test the mods people make. Then in September 2024, Patch 7 will finally launch.

While there is progress on the official Baldur's Gate 3 Patch 7 modding support, Larian did experience another Deluxe Edition delay. The developer noted the North American PS5 copies got bumped back again. The new expected release for that collector's edition is now July 2024, even though people in other regions got their copies.

Baldur's Gate 3 is available for the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, and the mod support closed alpha is now live ahead of a July 2024 closed beta.

The updated Benchmark Tool for the expansion is now live. As promised, it went out after some additional testing and features improved lighting and more accurate performance.

gundam call of duty

Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for the Gundam collaboration in Call of Duty. The trailer is under a minute long and it shows off the various Gundams you'll be able to play as. [Thanks, Gundam Info!]

You can watch the trailer here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mtX883ULUb8

In the trailer, we can see the Gundam, the Aerial, and the Char Zaku II. Each pack include the mobile suits wielding weapons familiar with fans of their respective shows, along with charms and stickers. It seems that they chose two of the more recognizable Gundams (as the original Gundam and Char's Zaku II were from the original series) and one from the newest one. The latest mainline entry in the Gundam anime series was The Witch From Mercury, with Aerial serving as protagonist Suletta's machine.

Here's when each Tracer Pack will be available, as well as how long you'll have to get them:

  • Zaku II: June 2 to August 31, 2024
  • Aerial: June 4 to September 2, 2024
  • Gundam: June 6 to September 4, 2024

There will also be a Mobile Suit Gundam Legends event from June 6 to June 20, 2024. During this time, you can get Gundam-themed rewards. Those with the above Gundam skins will also have additional bonuses.

The Gundam collaboration will be in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, Call of Duty: Warzone, and Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile. The event will run from June 2 to September 4, 2024. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and WIndows PC. Call of Duty: Warzone is readily available on the PS4, Windows PC, and Xbox One, with the mobile version on Android and iOS devices.

genshin impact sethos

HoYoVerse has uploaded a new Character Demo for Sethos, who will be a new 4-star in Genshin Impact. Sethos will be a 4-star Electro Bow character.

You can watch the trailer here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XmmoxwtnERU

It's also available in Mandarin Chinese, Korean, and Japanese.

Like most Genshin Impact Character Demo trailer, the one for Sethos focuses on his animations in battle. While only Faruzan makes a physical cameo appearance, the trailer also includes voice lines from characters like Tighnari and Wanderer as they tell the player about Sethos. We can also see in Sethos's trailer how his Charged ATK can pierce through enemies, meaning if several of them are standing in a line, you can hit all of them with a single attack. This is a new mechanic for certain characters. Clorinde, a 5-star character who'll also make her playable debut in Genshin Impact Version 4.7, is capable of the same thing.

Those who have played the second character quest for Cyno should already be familiar with Sethos. He is the leader of the Temple of Silence and was once the vessel of Hermanubis. In battle, he works well with sub-DPS or support characters who can help him cause Electro Elemental Reactions, including Electro Swirl. His Burst works similar to Cyno's in that it converts all of his attacks into Electro DMG, which scales off his Elemental Mastery.

Genshin Impact is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. Sethos will appear in the first half of Version 4.7 alongside Clorinde and Alhaitham. This update will go live on June 5, 2024.
