smt v yoko chiwa saito

Atlus shared commentary from Chiwa Saito, who voiced Yoko in Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance (SMT V: Vengeance). Past interviews included ones with Lynn and Saori Hayami.

Here is a translation of what Saito said about her character and the game:

"Yoko is a girl who seems like she's accepted and is resigned to her situation, but she's going through a lot of anxiety in her own way. I performed her lines hoping that I could express her inner thoughts.

I was in a Persona game in the past, so I was happy that they [Atlus] reached out to me again. Personally, I have a bit of a sad memory with Persona. My little brother, who's six years younger than me, once told me, "Chiwa-chan, you suck so you're not allowed to play!" while he as playing Persona and didn't give me the controller lol.

Humans (angels and demons too) are so complicated because depending on how you look at a situation, you can see a lot of different circumstances or forms of justice. The story really made me ponder on that. It's one that teaches you how important it is to imagine yourself in someone else's shoes and show them consideration. I hope you enjoy it!"

Aside from voicing Yoko Hiromine in SMT V, Chiwa Saito also voiced Metis in Persona 3 FES, Senjougahara in the Monogatari series, and Homura in Puella Magi Madoka Magica. She also voiced several different characters in the Fate series, as she portrayed Chloe and all of the iterations of Tamamo no Mae.

Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance will come out on June 14, 2024 for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC.

midori persona mysticdistance

Midori, a major leaker in the Sega community, confirmed that their true identity is MysticDistance. The account will no longer be posting any more leaks or information in the future.

For reference, Midori is a known presence in the Persona community, often posting alleged leaks of varying degrees of accuracy about new and upcoming games. They were, according to tweets from the account, a Japanese woman with a boyfriend who might or might not work at Sega. Recently, the individual began posting information about games made by companies other than Atlus and Sega. A throwaway account posted a Pastebin compiling information and evidence linking Midori with MysticDistance.

On Twitter, Midori did not deny the information that they are the same person as MysticDistance. In a lengthy Twitter thread, the person explained they shared information that others shared with them, as well as wanting to report on Atlus and Sega without any ties to their previous online persona. They claimed did not mean to fool people into thinking they were an employee or catfish anyone when they came up with the persona. They finished the thread by apologizing to those who felt betrayed by who Midori really is.

Persona 3 Reload is the latest entry in the Persona series and is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC. Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance will come out on June 14, 2024 for the PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC. You can read our review of it here.

nijisanji en financial report

In a new financial report from Anycolor, we can see that compared to the same time last year, revenue from Nijisanji EN is down. Anycolor has also compiled a report on what it plans to do to increase these numbers again.

For starters, in FY2023/4, Nijisanji EN made $1506 from live-streaming and $4396 from commerce. Live-streaming likely means money they make from Superchats and such. As for commerce, it has to do with goods. However, in FY2024/4, Nijisanji EN made $1226 from live-streaming and $2911 from commerce. In comparison, Nijisanji JP made $3381 from live-streaming last year and $9817 in commerce. They actually experienced growth this year, making $3666 from streams and $15,991 from commerce.

Most of the policies from Anycolor when it comes to increasing growth focus on Nijisanji as a whole. The company plans to strengthen the business foundation by employing more people for management and planning, as well as increasing the number of VTubers, with an average increase of around 10-15% per year through new debuts. This also includes strengthening VTA initiatives and hiring more unique VTubers in previously unexplored areas of content. New employees will work as talent managers, illustrators, 3D model designers and studio engineers. So not only does Anycolor plan to have more VTubers, it also plans to give them resources so they can produce better content.

The drop in viewership and merchandise sales in Njisanji EN likely still has to do with what happened with Selen Tatsuki earlier this year. Selen was on a medical break in late 2023 and left the hospital in early 2024. During this time, some trouble had occurred on her channel. Anycolor removed "Last Cup of Coffee" from her channel. In February 2024, Anycolor announced it terminated Selen. This incident, along with past departures that increased distrust towards Anycolor as a company. Other reasons Nijisanji EN is experiencing a drop may have to do with normal market fluctuations or oversaturation of competing VTubers and companies.

You can read the full financial results for Nijisanji EN and other aspects of the company in the report here.
