According to Sensor Tower, Fate/Grand Order was the mobile game in Japan that made the most revenue during Golden Week. For reference, Golden Week (a public holiday period) ran from April 27 to May 6, 2024. [Thanks, Famitsu!]
Fate/Grand Order made over $15 million during Golden Week, earning over $3 million more than Monster Strike, which is in second place. As a note, Monster Strike had way more daily active users than Fate/Grand Order did. Other games on the list include Nikke: Goddess of Victory, Arknights, Honkai: Star Rail, and Genshin Impact. This is the second year in a row that Fate/Grand Order topped the Golden Week earning charts.
As Golden Week was April 27 to May 6, 2024, it coincided with the Kumano Hot Springs Killer Case on the Japanese server. This event ran from April 26 to May 17, 2024. This was the Witch on the Holy Night collaboration event in Fate/Grand Order, which may have explained why the game made so much money. During the event, players could get a Berserker version of Shizuki for free. Meanwhile, the gacha Servants were Aoko (SSR Foreigner) and Alice (SSR Caster).
In 2023, Fate/Grand Order had the first Lilim Harlot event during Golden Week, giving players the chance to obtain Sodom's Beast/Draco in the gacha. As of the time of writing, she is still the only playable Beast Servant. She is also very powerful, which might have incentivized players to spend enough money to push the game to the top of the revenue charts. The Lilim Harlot re-run event is now available in the Japanese version of Fate/Grand Order for a limited time.

McDonald's Japan has revealed its new limited European burgers menu, which used a Kiki's Delivery Service-like commercial for promotion. These burgers will appear from June 26, 2024 for a limited time. [Thanks, Game Watch!]
The three flavors are: beef patty burger with german potatoes, juicy peperoncino hot chicken burger, and bouillabaisse-style shrimp burger. There is a note underneath the peperoncino chicken burger that those who aren't good at eating spicy food should be wary when ordering this one. As well, the bouillabaisse-style shrimp burger will not be available in Fukuoka or Saga.
McDonald's first teased these burgers with two short animations on June 18, 2024. Though not actually Kiki, it featured a little girl witch who has a striking resemblance to the Studio Ghibli character flying through the sky and running through a market. Like Kiki, she had a little black cat with her, as well as dressed in black and red. The marketing likely used her for these burgers due to the Swedish aesthetic of the town Kiki lived in. Granted, these burgers seem to use flavors from German, Italian, and French cuisine.
The European burgers will be available for a limited time in McDonald's Japan from June 26, 2024.

The Japan servers of Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV) will resume auto-housing demolition on July 16, 2024 along with the 7.01 patch. Square Enix had initially stopped the timer in January 2024.
As a reminder, Square Enix suspended the auto-housing demolition timer on January 4, 2024. This was a response to the Noto Peninsula earthquake that took place on January 1, 2024. The earthquake—which had a magnitude of 7.6 M and caused tsunamis measuring 4.2 m—resulted in a devastating loss of life, as well as destroyed homes. In order to prevent victims or others affected by the disaster to lose their virtual home, Square Enix suspended the timer to give them time to get back on their feet.
In certain cases, the timer might have restarted early for some people. If anyone (from the free company) entered a free company estate or private estate at least once, then the timer will reset. Otherwise, it will resume from the time remaining. However, Square Enix warns that the timer will start up again during the maintenance. So if some people were really cutting it close, the they might log in to find their house gone. Square Enix strongly suggests that players who receives a warning e-mail about their house log in before the maintenance so as not to lose it.
Final Fantasy XIV is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Windows PC, and macOS. The auto-housing demolition timer in the Japan servers of FFXIV will resume on July 16, 2024.

More information has come out about Sigewinne in Genshin Impact, including her character information and kit. Her banner, "Romaritime Meluserenity," will go live on June 25, 2024.

It's also available in Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. It sees Sigewinne writing a letter to Neuvillette, telling him about how life is in the prison. Sometimes, the Melusines visit her and they give stickers to people they think are cute. In Sigewinne's character story, we can see that she and other Melusines view humans as something like pet cats. This has to do with their different way of viewing the world, as well as their different sense of aesthetics. She remains a very good nurse to the inmates regardless.
Sigewinne's Rebound Hydrotherapy talent is similar to Baizhu's in that it bounces between opponents to deal damage before restoring HP to nearby party members. It will only heal Sigewinne at the end. She can increase the size of this bubble when you hold down the Skill. This will also increase how much damage it deals and how much she heals for. She can trap weaker enemies in this bubble. Like Clorinde and Arlecchino, Sigewinne has a Bond of Life mechanic. She gains Sourcewater Droplets when she uses her Skill and when you clear it, she regains Elemental Energy (up to 5). Finally, her Burst, Super Saturated Syringing, is a blast of AoE Hydro DMG that scales off her Max HP.
In English, Sarah Williams voices her and in Japanese, Kino Hina voices her. Williams's previous roles include Sayaka in Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Chihaya in Persona 5, and Mist in Fire Emblem Heroes. Kino's more famous roles include Hanako in Asobi Asobase, Miri in Buddy Daddies, and Emu in Project Sekai. Finally, in Chinese, Zhao Shuang voices Sigewinne. Zhao's past roles include Sparkle in Honkai: Star Rail and Verina in Wuthering Waves.
Genshin Impact is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. Sigewinne will make her playable debut in Genshin Impact on June 25, 2024.
