I love it despite never having read the Dune books or watched the Dune movies, because the digital version taught me everything I needed to know about Barry Harkonnen, Oscar Isaac, the tall guy from Guardians Of The Galaxy, and their insatiable pursuit of space nutmeg. Now the board game's first expansion is headed to the digital version of the game, and it's called Rise Of Ix for reasons I definitely understand. |

Following the release of the 7.0 FFXIV patch and Dawntrail early access, a number of bugs have come up, and one affects people who use the Eat Pizza emote and have male Au Ra Warriors of Light. When attempting to use it in-game, the facial animation will break between taking a bite of the pizza and smiling to give a thumbs up. [Thanks, Hope_Incarnate and ViaMagicant on X!]
The FFXIV Eat Pizza emote started out as a GrubHub promotion that debuted back in December 2021. (It experienced issues at the time, due to some people not getting one despite fulfilling the conditions for the promotion.) In November 2023, it was added to the online store for $5. When used, the character appears to eat a slice of pizza, then give a thumbs up.
Here's a video clip from ViaMagicant showing what happens when a male Au Ra character attempts to use the FFXIV Eat Pizza emote in FFXIV following the 7.0 update.
Since then, people also turned to the official FFXIV forums to submit bug reports for the error.
Following the end of the 48-hour maintenance and early access launch of Dawntrail, Square Enix shared many alerts concerning known issues in FFXIV 7.0. For example, the Amon fight in Syrcus Tower is broken. The company also alerted people to congestion issues.
Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, and Dawntrail early access is live now. The full Dawntrail launch is on July 2, 2024.

Square Enix warns Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV) players on the North America Data Centers that all of the Worlds except Dynamis are all their login limits. Players should use the Dynamis Data Center to prevent Worlds going down under heavy loads.
In the full Tweet on Square Enix's X (Twitter) account, it recommends that FFXIV players use Data Center Travel to play on Dynamis to avoid login queues. This is also a way to lower the stress on the servers and prevent Worlds going down. If you receive a warning "Unable to select [World] as a destination for Return to Home World requests at this time," this is because your Home World is at max capacity. You should try again later.
These congestion issues are the result of the Dawntrail expansion, which came out on June 28, 2024 for those who pre-ordered it. This is the early access version of Dawntrail and Version 7.0. Players who did not pre-order the expansion will get to do so on July 2, 2024. Some of the new content in Dawntrail include the Viper and Pictomancer classes, as well as a playable female Hrothgar. There are also some QoL updates, such as improved visual presentation and new raids.
Final Fantasy XIV is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC. Final Fantasy XIV Dawntrail will come out for everyone on July 2, 2024, and it's in early access right now.

Yostar announced that the two physical volumes of the Arknights Rhodes Kitchen - Tidbits manga based on the tower-defense mobile game will be released worldwide, including comics gradually released online. At the moment the volumes cost $20 in a bundle together, before shipping, and are expected to release in August 2024.
The official social media account for the Yostar Official Store showcased the two volumes and their cover art. Each one features sketches of various Arknights characters, with Amiya in the center. It also included a link to the Yostar official store where you can buy them.
As for the manga volumes themselves, not only do they include a series of short comics featuring Arknights characters like Amiya, Matterhorn, Blaze, and Kroos, but they will come with recipes for readers to try out for themselves. Each recipe made in each chapter will be presented with every ingredient used and the process used to create them, similar to how Delicious in Dungeon displays its dishes, fictional ingredients and all.
The comics were available to read on the official Arknights website, on chapter by chapter basis, and they was released in physical manga volumes in Japan in March 2023. In other news related to the game, Yostar will be partnering with Sanrio for an in-game collaboration that includes Hello Kitty.
Arknights is currently available on mobile devices.

Friend A, also known as A-chan, announced that she will leave hololive at the end of June 2024. She was with the company for around seven years.
Friend A wrote a letter explaining the situation, as well as her thoughts on her time at hololive. She starts by saying that she was on hiatus for about three months due to a family member's ailing health. However, she judged that it would be difficult for her to return to her duties at hololive as she'd initially planned, and thus decided to leave the company. She apologizes to everyone who was waiting for her return.
Though A-chan entered hololive to support her best friend Hoshino Sora's dreams of becoming an idol, she was able to experience a lot through her communications with fans and the new VTuber culture. She noted that as a fan, she will continue to support hololive and hopes to see more people around the world fall in love with it.
Friend A is a staff member, but she has her own Live2D and 3D models. At times, she collaborated with hololive talents on streams, as well as held her own streams. Behind the scenes, she has a variety of duties, such as logistical coordination and stream troubleshooting.
As of the end of June 2024, Friend A (or A-chan) is no longer with hololive.
