Instead, upgrades are made to the RAM, the battery capacity, and the overall design and efficiency of the cooling system. The Asus ROG Ally X is easily one of the best handheld gaming PCs, replacing the Ally Z1 Extreme as the strongest alternative to the Steam Deck OLED. That being said, the Windows operating system is still a huge weakness for the portable, and it throws up challenges that left me frustrated with the unrealized potential of this otherwise very impressive hardware. He was last seen with his loving son Kazuya, who threw him into a volcano. Of course, to be fully submerged in impossibly hot liquid rock is merely a long-running family prank for the cast of this 3D fighting game, sort of like forcing your granddad to do the ice bucket challenge, but with lava. Nobody truly expected the horn-haired headbutter to be fully removed from the series. But I am a little surprised to see him back so soon. |

At Evo 2024, Cygames announced Vikala and Sandalphon DLC for Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising alongside the Versusia release date. The rollout of new characters starts on August 20, 2024, which is when Versusia and the 1.50 update appears.
First, Versusia is one of at least eight confirmed additions for Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising in 1.50. She'll cost $7.99 when purchased alone. About the first minute of the Evo 2024 trailer was dedicated to showing her gameplay footage.
The announcement trailer then went over many of the things we can expect in the 1.50 update. You can see the list of things coming to the game on August 20, 2024 below:
At the 2:27 mark, future Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising DLC characters Vikala and Sandalphon came up. Vikala, who is one of the Twelve Divine Generals and Guardian Deity of the North, will be the last Character Pass 1 add-on. She's something of a magical girl, as she's a human who happens to be a part of the group. As for Sandalphon, it seems the Fifth Primarch will lead Character Pass Season 2. He's the person who appeared when that teaser came up.

As part of the Evo 2024 announcements, Capcom shared a look at the Street Fighter 6 Terry Bogard DLC with a new trailer ahead of his Autumn 2024 debut. The video is a cinematic one showing him, showing him unleashing a Burn Knuckle punch.
Here's the full video. It shows a number of people gathered around Terry, watching him fight. At one point, two original player characters in outfits designed to resemble Blue Mary and Joe Higashi show up asking to fight him next. After being thrown by his opponent, Terry then uses Burn Knuckle to take him down. After that segment, the video confirms he'll appear in Battle Hub, Fighting Ground, and World Tour when his add-on appears in Autumn 2024.

Terry Bogard is one of two King of Fighters and Fatal Fury mainstays to join Street Fighter 6 as DLC in the near future. Mai Shiranui will also be a part of the Year 2 season pass. This latest run of characters started with M Bison, who joined the game in June 2024. It will be rounded out with the inclusion of returning fighter Elena as well.
Street Fighter 6 is available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC.

Bandai Namco used Evo 2024 to reveal the next Tekken 8 DLC character, and it is Heihachi Mishima. A new trailer also appeared going over recent events in the game, highlighting his past, and bringing up the latest roadmap for extra characters.
The new trailer begins by showing a group of Tekken Monks all training. Their goal is to wipe out the Mishima Zaibatsu. From there, we see other current and DLC characters from the game and hints at the roles they play, like Reina and Lidia. Before Heihachi appears, we see glimpses of him at pivotal moments in the series, especially when it comes to Kazuya. It's then that he emerges from the fires and the text "The King of Iron Fist Resurrection" appears.

As for the updated roadmap, it shows that Heihachi Mishima will join Tekken 8 as DLC in Autumn 2024. Lidia Sobieska is in the Summer slot, as she debuts on July 25, 2024. Eddy Gordo was the first person to appear in the Season 1 Pass, and he showed up on April 5, 2024.
Tekken 8 is available for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC. Lidia is the next DLC character, and she'll be followed by Heihachi.
