The developers, Nine Deck Games, stressed the original game's endings will remain 'canon' to each player. Life is Strange: Double Exposure has been announced as a murder mystery game. Max's close friend, Safi, is murdered and Max tries to use her ability to rewind time to prevent the death. Instead, she opens a parallel timeline, one where Safi is alive. Max can move between timelines to piece together who killed Safi and why. It all sounds a lot more grown up than previous Life is Strange story game outings, which usually deal with the complexities of teenage emotions and coming of age stories. An FPS with barely any dialogue, any considerable narrative, it's nevertheless oppressive, seedy, and frightening. Playing Trepang2 feels dangerous. It's a nasty, almost subversive shooter, but it also has a sense of humor and moments of schlock-horror levity. The best new FPS game of the last five years, or maybe longer, it also feels like the spiritual return of Monolith's superlative FEAR, and now Trepang2 has just gotten better. Rachel Alucard has appeared as the first post-launch playable character in BlazBlue Entropy Effect. 91Act has released the DLC set featuring the character from Arc System Works' fighting game series in the roguelite action game on Steam.
The new DLC set does not only add Rachel Alucard, as 91Act also includes a set of alternate color palettes for all playable characters and a bonus skin for the player's avatar. People who have purchased the game by February 14, 2024, can get the DLC set for free. Those who did not can purchase the set with a 25% discounted price of $3.74 until July 31, 2024, before it goes back to its regular price of $4.99.
BlazBlue Entropy Effect will have a total of 11 characters once players have added the Rachel DLC. The game's first full version launched on January 31, 2024, with 10 playable characters: Ragna the Bloodedge, Jin Kisaragi, Noel Vermillion, Hibiki Kohaku, Mai Natsume, Es, Taokaka, Kokonoe, Hakumen, and Lambda-11.

The release of this character DLC completes the first post-launch schedule that 91Act planned to do sooner after the game's full release. In February 2024, the studio was on the verge of collapse as it had to lay off every staff member due to cash flow issues. However, the studio's CEO Michael Jiang Lei managed to keep it afloat by mortgaging his property and re-hiring the staff members.
In late June 2024, 91Act released a major update that added a two-player co-op mode. The Japanese press release added that the game has over 600,000 units sold worldwide as of July 2024.

Yostar has announced that it will set up display booths featuring its mobile games at Comic Market 104. Azur Lane and Blue Archive will specifically be highlighted at the company's Comiket 104 booth.
The booth's staff will give away shopper bags that also feature characters from Arknights, Mahjong Soul, and Aether Gazer. However, the above two titles will take most of the spotlight. The bags will contain Azur Lane and Blue Archive stickers, along with an uchiwa fan of Azur Lane's Mogador. The booth will only have these items as freebies while stocks last, as the company will not sell merchandise at this event.
Yostar's Comiket 104 booth will have specific zones dedicated to Azur Lane and Blue Archive. The company will also have cosplayers attend the booth with costumes of characters from both titles.
The Azur Lane area will primarily feature Pamiat' Merkuria. Visitors will be able to interact with the character. The booth will also have a massaging mini-game where players can win bonus items depending on their scores upon completion.
Meanwhile, the Blue Archive zone will host a Momo Friends Race. Visitors can participate by guessing the race winner to receive a bonus item. If a character wins the race, those who guessed the character can win another item.
Comic Market 104 will take place at Tokyo Big Sight on August 11-12, 2024. Yostar will have its booths at Corporate Booth No.1111 in West Hall 3.
