A teaser trailer for Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- is now on the Aniplex YouTube channel. It's quite short at about half a minute.
You can watch the teaser trailer for Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- here:
The title for the trailer is "Limit" x "Despair" and both concepts are obvious in the footage. It shows the deaths of several characters (unknown if they're actually important to the overall plot or characters who'll die at the very beginning). The audio of characters screaming either as they're killed or as they watch their friends being killed is layered on top of Sincere's "Sedam," which will also appear in the game.
While we don't know the voice actors for them, Too Kyo Games has shared the designs for SIREI and NIGOU. SIREI is the commander for Last Defense Academy while NIGOU helps them out. Taihi Kimura voices main character Takumi Sumino. Sumino is a normal high schooler who grew up in an average family. Though he can be pessimistic and have trouble making decisions, he's determined to stand up and protect the people important to him.
This is the latest upcoming game from Too Kyo Games, which previously released Master Detective Archives: Rain Code. Kazutaka Kodaka (Danganronpa) and Kotaro Uchikoshi (Zero Escape) are both working on this, and they've teased the project several times over times in the past. The plot of the game centers on an apocalyptic event striking Japan and killing a bunch of people. A mascot creature then transports students from around the world to the Last Defense Academy, where they must defend the school for 100 days against enemy invaders. It will be a TRPG similar to Fire Emblem but with visual novel elements.
The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- will come out on April 24, 2025 for the Nintendo Switch and Windows PC. The English version will come out on that date as well.

Falcom has updated its website to include the The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 1st remake, including information on the new sprites and such. So far, there's nothing new that the trailer, which was in the Japanese Nintendo Direct, didn't already cover.
As of the time of writing, you can check out the trailer, a brief summary of the story, screenshots from the remake, and a description of the battle system. Battle will commence after attacking an enemy symbol on the map and it'll still use a turn-based system. The description states that the battle system is easy to grasp and even if you're completely new to the RPG genre as a whole, you'll be able to master it in almost no time. We saw a little bit of it during the trailer as well, which you can watch here:
The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky originally came out in 2004 for the Windows PC, though there was later a port onto the PSP. It's the first game in the Trails series, which encompasses other titles such as Trails from Zero and Trails of Cold Steel. The story follows Estelle Bright and her adopted brother Joshua Bright as they journey through Liberl in hopes of becoming Bracers. As a JRPG, the story becomes a lot grander in scale and the stakes become much higher as the story goes on.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 1st remake will come out on the Nintendo Switch in 2025.

Demonschool, a tactical RPG with Persona influences, just had its September 13, 2024 release date delayed all the way back to early 2025. There's no exact launch date for the game following this announcement, which is a move to add extra content to the game.
Necrosoft Games' announcement went over the exact reasons for the Demonschool being delayed from September 2024 to sometime in 2025. The developer said the game, as it is now, is done. However, the goal behind this postponement is to add additional "things to do." The announcement claimed if it had released as planned on September 13, 2024, players "would never have known" that there could have been more content.
Here's the full Necrosoft Games statement about the game delay:
"You never want to delay a game, but Demonschool means a lot to us. We've really put everything we have into this project, and as we got closer to release we realized that meeting the Sept. 13th deadline would necessarily mean a game with less content than we originally envisioned.
After discussing with Ysbryd, we realized we have a couple of paths forward. We could:
We believe the second option would be better for everyone for everyone who has followed our work so far. So we are delaying the game to make sure it's as chock full of Things To Do as we had hoped. Realistically, the player would never have known. It still would've been a finished product. But we would have known that the game could have been more, and that's the game we want to share. Ysbryd gave us the flexibility to do this, which is very unusual for a publisher these days, and we're thankful for the opportunity to do this right. Since we'll be taking extra time, we plan to create short dev diaries up until launch to offer more insight into the work we have ahead. We hope you look forward to these deeper dives into our process.
We're sorry for those who are eagerly awaiting the game, but are very hopeful that all the extra content will be worth the wait. 2024 has been a very trying year for the team, so we appreciate your understanding."
The official Necrosoft Games site hasn't updated with the statement yet.
While Demonschool is delayed out of 2024 and into 2025, people can still play it today. There is a demo on Steam for the PC version. The product listing still shows the September 13, 2024
Demonschool will come to the Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC in 2025.

Capcom will specifically model the two new plushies after the alternate forms of MegaMan.EXE. One of them will be based on the Hub Style, which is also alternatively known in Japan as the Saito Style Rockman.EXE. The other will be inspired by Dark MegaMan.EXE, complete with the red eyes.
Each plush will be available for purchase for 1,100 yen (~$7.60) at Capcom stores in Tokyo and Osaka on August 30, 2024. Capcom will add the same items to its online crane game Capcom Net Catcher on August 31, 2024. Taito announced on social media that Japanese arcade crane games will soon offer a Final Fantasy Chocobo bath toy that essentially turns the mascot into a rubber duck. It will begin appearing at select locations on August 29, 2024.
Like any rubber duck, both versions of the Final Fantasy Chocobo bath toys are designed to float when placed in water. People can end up getting either a standard yellow chick or a blue one. The blue one is a nod to the fact that traditionally that type is used to swim through water, such as in FFVII or FFIX. Each one wears a red and white life preserver. They also each stand at about 10 centimeters tall.
Here's the official announcement, which also shows both of the toys floating in a tub. Masayoshi Soken, the composer for FFXIV and FFXVI, also shared it.
It is incredibly common for Taito to release Final Fantasy toys, figures, or items as arcade prizes. In July 2024, the company added FFXIV glass and LED coaster sets to the lineup. Dolls representing avatars in outfits from various jobs in the MMORPG also showed up. And in March 2024, Loporrit hand puppets appeared as arcade crane game prizes.
The Final Fantasy Chocobo bath toys that act as rubber ducks will show up in Japanese arcades as prizes starting on August 29, 2024.
