Infolens has revealed a new lineup of merchandise featuring characters from Capcom's Ghost Trick, Mega Man Battle Network, and Ace Attorney series. The company will gradually put these items up for sale from early February 2025.
The items originally appeared at the physical Tokyo Game Show 2024 venue in Chiba, Japan, in September 2024. Infolens will thus make the items available for sale more widely. Pre-orders for the items are immediately available on Infolens Geek Shop. The company will also later put the same items up on Amazon Japan.
The lineup's highlight is the collection of plush keychains that encompass all three featured franchises. It features Sissel, Ray, Lynne, and Kamila from Ghost Trick, as well as Lan Hikari, MegaMan.EXE, Eugene Chaud, ProtoMan.EXE, and the Mettaur from the Battle Network series. Meanwhile, the Ace Attorney series is represented by Phoenix Wright (in lawyer and hobo attires), Miles Edgeworth (with and without glasses), Apollo Justice, Trucy Wright, and Klavier Gavin.

Google has published the Japanese version of its Best of 2024 awards. Bandai Namco's Hatsuboshi Gakuen: The Idolmaster has particularly won the Best Game award in the country's version of the annual awards that give rewards to notable games available on Android mobile devices.
This award also served as a testament to Gakuen Idolmaster's success. Sensor Tower Japan noted that the game topped the download amount rankings on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store in Japan in a full month following its release on May 16, 2024.
Google has also published a list of games that win other awards. The list of winners is as follows:
As a side note, Ensemble Training—a workout-based rhythm game with characters and songs from Ensemble Stars—won the Best Personal Growth App award in the regular app categories, even though it did not appear in the game award categories.
Hatsuboshi Gakuen: The Idolmaster, the winner of the Best Game award in Google Play Japan's Best of 2024, is also available on iOS in addition to Android mobile devices in Japan.

Good Smile Company has opened up pre-orders for a Megurine Luka: Symphony 2024 Nendoroid. Pre-orders will close on January 15, 2025.
The Megurine Luka: Symphony 2024 Nendoroid will cost 7500 JPY and ship out in May 2025. Meanwhile, the North American store offers it for $52.99 and it'll come out in Q4 2025. As a reminder, Good Smile Company will only deliver to Canada and the United States if you order from the North American store.
Like most other Nendoroids, this Luka Nendoroid comes with three face plates. You can change her expression between an innocent one, a smiling one, and a winking one. There are also optional parts like hands, as well as a shell. The shell in question is a small one that she can hold in her hand, not a stand.
This Nendoroid uses the visual for Luka from the Hatsune Miku Symphony 2024 ～Luka 15th Anniversary～ concert. It took place in early October 2024 in Yokohama. In this visual, Luka wears a white dress that has a tutu-like cut. Underneath the dress, there's another sheer and scalloped piece of cloth. The entire outfit has a white-and-gold color scheme. But between the bare feet and the shell in the promotional image, it seems that this outfit is meant to evoke the image of a goddess rather than formalwear.
The Megurine Luka: Symphony 2024 Nendoroid is open for pre-order until January 15, 2025. Previous anniversary Nendoroids of Vocaloid characters include one of Miku from the Symphony 2023 key visual.

Bandai Spirits announced a new Ichiban Kuji lottery for home items and plushes based on Pokemon. The 2024 Pokemon Collection Kuji: Welcome to the Pokemon House collection will appear in stores like 7-11 and the Pokemon Store from November 22, 2024. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
It costs 700 JPY ($4.55) per attempt. In total, there are ten different types of goods to get. The prizes available are:
As a note, the Pawmi stand plush that serves as the C Prize is a plush of the Pokemon that can stand on its own. The reason why it's a "stand plush" is because you can use it as a phone stand.
Quite a few Pokemon Ichiban Kuji lotteries focus heavily on items you can use at home, which means they're aimed at a slightly older audience. In 2022, an Ichiban Kuji focusing on Mimikyu had items like a coffee server and a tote bag. Meanwhile, a picnic-focused lottery line in 2021 included tableware and picnic towels. All of the Ichiban Kuji include plushes as well, for those who may not want a practical piece of merchandise.
The 2024 Pokemon Collection Kuji: Welcome to the Pokemon House collection will appear in stores in Japan from November 22, 2024.

HoYoVerse has released the drip marketing for The Herta, who'll be a 5-star version of the existing 4-star Herta character. Like the other Herta, she'll be an Ice Erudition unit.
This is the actual original version of Herta, as opposed to the puppets that we've encountered thus far. According to her character description, the reason why she's "The" Herta is because she disliked the Intelligentsia Guild's suggestion of "Herta Prime," since it implies that she's a separate existence from her puppets. As a note, the original Chinese script refers to her as "Big Herta" while the Japanese version calls her "Madam Herta."
The 5-star version of Herta will likely appear in Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.0 (or Version 2.8), as we already know that Fugue and Sunday will be the 5-star characters for the upcoming 2.7 patch. In terms of kit, we will have to wait until we approach her in-game debut. Though the 4-star version specializes in follow-up attacks, that doesn't mean the 5-star will as well. After all, the other characters with variants in the game (like Dan Heng or March 7th) don't keep the same fighting style across Paths or rarities.
Herta's voice actresses are Haruka Yamazaki (Japanese) and Hou Xiaofei (Chinese). Yamazaki's previous roles include Tomoyo in When Supernatural Battles Became Commonplace and Grani in Arknights. Meanwhile, Hou's roles include Jessica in Arknights and Belle in Zenless Zone Zero. The English voice actress doesn't appear on the English or Chinese drip marketing (perhaps due to the ongoing strike). But Patty Mattson provided the voice for the original 4-star Herta.
Honkai: Star Rail is readily available on the PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. The 5-star version of Herta will likely come out in Honkai: Star Rail in January 2025.

Kotobukiya has revealed that it will again restock its model kit of the Siren, the Artifice machine that appeared in the 2017 Nintendo Switch game Xenoblade Chronicles 2. The kit originally appeared in November 2018, and it will appear once again in May 2025.
The non-scale model kit has a total height of approximately 30 cm (11.81 inches)—measured from the base to the top side of the PET resin wings—when completed. The kit also comes with an extra base arm and alternate arm parts for the Siren to simulate the firing stance.
This is not the first time Kotobukiya restocks the Siren's model kit though. The company had previously restocked the kit in July 2022. The new restock batch will give another chance for people who missed the previous windows to purchase and own the kit.
The restocked kit will have a tax-inclusive MSRP of 13,200 yen (~$85.65). While Kotobukiya's own online store only supports domestic shipping inside Japan, the kit is also available to order on web stores that have worldwide shipping support, such as AmiAmi and HobbyLink Japan.
The plastic model kit featuring the Artifice machine Siren from Nintendo and Monolith Soft's Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will be available again in May 2025.

Square Enix announced on the official X (formerly Twitter) account for Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link that it had to delay the release of the game. There is no information on when it will come out.
The Tweet in question is quite short. After saying that it made the "difficult decision to delay the release," it apologizes to the players and expresses appreciation for their patience. The Japanese version of the Tweet provides about as much information. Though Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link was supposed to come out in 2024, that obviously will no longer come to pass. The official channels for the game will let us know when Square Enix decides on a new release window.
Square Enix announced Missing-Link in 2022. This was part of the Kingdom Hearts 20th anniversary. Several closed betas occurred in 2023 and earlier 2024. Even during this period, there were a few problems with delays, though these were limited to the Android version. In terms of genre, this game will be an action RPG. We do know some details as well, such as it having a real-life GPS function, character creation, and an AP stamina system.
Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link is in development. Square Enix will announce the new release date in the future.

Square Enix has revealed new Adorable Arts chibi action figures of Yuffie Kisaragi, Vincent Valentine, and Red XIII based on their appearances in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. It will release the figures worldwide throughout the latter half of 2025.
The company has set up pre-orders for the figures on not only the Japanese e-Store but also the North American and European web stores. All three figures will have the same price tags of ¥7,480 / $72.99 / €69.99.
Each figure set will also contain additional parts that give the owners more choices of poses and facial expressions. For example, Yuffie's figure will be able to wield her Shuriken weapon or a green Materia gem.

The figures' release dates differ based on the characters and regions. Yuffie and Red XIII's chibi figures will appear first in Japan on June 28, 2025, with Vincent's figure following suit on July 26, 2025. North America will see Yuffie and Red XIII's figures in September 2025, as well as Vincent in October 2025. All three figures will appear last in Europe in November 2025.
The characters in this Adorable Arts chibi figure lineup are all based on Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, which has been available worldwide on PlayStation 5 since February 29, 2024. Square Enix released an update patch in early November 2024 that brought the game up to version 1.050 and added a Versatility Mode for the PS5 Pro console.
